MM Necro’s are already powerful. Pets with (who’s damage isn’t altered by our stats) would be come near perma with high healing and perma regeneration. It would be slightly ridiculous. A few of them already hit like trucks.
Kinda true, they are powerful (just like phantasam mesmers), but (unlike them) minions are just as stupid as NPCSs in 99% of existing games, as in wall moonwalkers.
Phantasms are duelists intended to win any 1v1 fight,
On the other hand a phantasms build is helpless against two players, and they provide no support to the team,
I saw minion mancers hold a point against two players long enough until support arrives,
MM and phantasms cannot be compared,
I don’t know why but i’m disappointed in advance,
Déja vu…
Anyway i’m having a blast with my guardian and my mesmer, but the necro will always be my main class
CD on wells are awful, *
2vs1 with a guardian is viable, at least until the support arrives,
2vs1 with a necro is imposible, you’ll be CC and murdered in seconds,
I’m ALMOST COMPLETLY SURE there’s no way a necro can hold a point better than a guardian,
*EDIT: Damage is great, sure, but it’s not efficient at all, (except to grab some badges on WvW),
Actually, we have superior AoE physical damage over time to any other class.
¿?
We also can tank extremely effectively utilizing Vampirism in PvE and WvW better than any other class save Ranger.
We can bunker as effectively as a Guardian.
¡?!??¡!¡!?¡?!¡?!¡?
against a shatter mesmer you are dead because our stun breakers are awful,
against a illusion mesmer will be even worst, even with AoE you won’t be able to kill the illusions fast enough,
Ignore the illusions and you are dead, try to kill the mesmer and you are dead,
Mesmers are the best duelist on this game, specially the illusion mesmer,
We arent lying when we say BM Bunker Rangers are none existant. The build is good for 1v1 or small scale fights (5v5 tops). More than that and the pet isnt that great and your ability to soak damage so your pet can kill is irrelevant. People who do small scale fighting as their main source of WvW is extremely low. Then the people who pick rangers tk do it is lower. Then you have those people deciding if they want to run the build.
I’ve already pointed that out. If we are talking about WvW players in general you’d be right saying BM rangers are none existant, just like s/d thieves, d/d necros and many other builds that don’t fit in zerg fights. But I’m talking about roamers, and roaming rangers in particular.
And I’d be happy to see more rangers roaming around and looking for fights, but all I see is bunker rangers who are hard to take down and will flee away or get me zerged before that happens.
Pet’s F2 skill was not a fix. Back in october Anet said that they wanted to give a brand new pet after the swap so that’s actually a nerf.
“Brand new” sounds more like full HP and conditions free. So you really thought wolf’s fear had a 45 sec cooldown to be used every 15 secs?
People complaining about that are the same people who said Empathic Bond fix was a huge nerf, just saying.
If you’re thinking a Ranger is bunker because of Signet of the Wild usage then you’re doing it wrong.. Cause i use Signet of the Wild in most of my builds, simply because we don’t have a whole lot of options… Bout only build I don’t see it ran in is Trap Builds.
Even Mango Pie isn’t completely horrible for a Zerker Ranger
Anyway, I’ve ran into maybe 2 or 3 Bunker Rangers the entire time i’ve played….
No, I was being sarcastic, sorry.
I don’t really understand the point in saying that pretty much nobody runs BM builds now, specially coming from the people who have spread the builds on the forums the most. Maybe trying to prove that it’s an incredibly unused build so Anet shouldn’t nerf it? I don’t know.
You still call it a nerf when they fixed pet’s F2 reseting on swap, so probably “nerf” has different definitions for us.
I’ve not seen many BM rangers in Solo queue either….
and Puandro is on T1 is he not? He seems to have the same response I have when i play my Bunker Ranger….
Lucky you, then. I wouldn’t be trying to get better at other classes to be able to switch everytime that happens otherwise.
Maybe I’m just seing lots of zerker rangers running with signet of the wild and mango pies? Uhm.
And I’m not talking about those rangers you see trying to catch up with their zergs running with a longbow and a brown bear, cus if you take that into consideration when saying not many rangers run BM, well yes, then you are right.
I’ve never seen 4 BM Rangers Per TPvP match……If you can point out a video of this i’d love to see it.
I’ve also not seen WvW full of roaming BM rangers either..in fact a most of the rangers I fight are Zerker Rangers.
I yolo q a lot and have seen 4 rangers per match too many times, but it’s true that no premade runs 4 BM rangers.
And WvW? I’ve been invited to parties and told “kitten BM ranger stupid build L2P noob” when I wasn’t even running a BM build. So maybe T1 is a bit different.
I used to fight zerker rangers all the time, but now I just face BM rangers who can outheal my damage until they can hide in a keep or run to their zerg.
They never said the nerf wasn’t gonna be split.
It would totally make sense tho, since PvE rangers already have a hard time in dungeons and WvW rangers, well, if thieves can keep their burst and eles their healing, I guess rangers should keep their pet’s damage.
Complaining that they are only gonna do it cus now everyone runs a BM build is like complaining that they only nerfed D/D bunker eles cus everyone was playing them. Errr yeah, it’s the way it works. Nobody would ever ask for nerfs to a build nobody plays, but when you have 4 BM rangers per tPvP match and WvW is full of “roaming bm rangers” (btw, I’m tired of seing BM rangers running away from 1vs1) then people are gonna realize how strong it is and ask for nerfs.
I’m really okey with having pet’s damage toned down as long as they keep improving their AI. Cus right now pets are kitten strong against players who can’t kite, and pretty meh against players who can.

I still like Trahearne and I think people are overreacting to him.
snip
You can think what you like, and you are free to like him, but it does not change the fact that he is a horrendously written character no matter how you cut it, at least to people who have at least vague familiarity with creative writing, proper character development, etc.
Similarly, Twilight has fans, but the series also has some of the most abysmal writing I’ve ever seen in a published piece of fiction.
Lori from The Walking Dead is actually a pretty good comparison, since you brought it up. She is a blatant, negative stereotype of women and exists solely to create cheap conflict in the plot, she has no depth beyond that. Trahearne is an equally cheap cardboard cut out of a character, he is a Gary Stu deus ex machina, sucking out anything remotely resembling depth in the plot every time he shows up.
The difference between them is that while they’re both utterly one dimensional, Lori seems to exist just to create easy strife and drama, making things feel like a soap opera every time she shows up. Trahearne on the other hand really does fit that deus ex machina label I gave him up there. No matter the problem, Trahearne will solve it, whether because he just magically has the right information, or because of that overpowered sword he lugs around.
And then he snatches away your credit. I think the writer might have unwittingly done something clever there, at least – with Trahearne stealing your credit, he looks very insecure, like he’s compensating for his own shortcomings. It fits well with his supposed reluctance.
If the writer was actually trying to write a completely unpleasant weasel of a character that almost everyone would hate, they succeeded with flying colors. I know it’s not intentional, though.Anyway, telling a few hundred (or more..) people in the community who dislike him that they’re overreacting is laughable. I don’t think the problem lies with these people, as the word “overreacting” implies. I think it’s that all of these people are all spotting the same thing – that the writing and voice acting for this character are glaringly terrible.
…Really sorry to rag on the writing so much, but as someone who works in a creative field, too, I suspect Trahearne’s writer can probably take some honesty and critique.
Oh man your review made me cry of laugh xD
We basically roll BG and JQ ’s 80 man zerg with our elite 20 man zerg. An addition of another NA would greatly help us to dominate T1 even more.
Welcome to SoR
pffffffffffff hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha, of course, champ !
I’m ex-Fire, still on JQ. Those that left left due to a clash of personalities, that’s pretty much it. Welcome to reality, not everyone gets along with everyone and I hope those that left are having a blast on DB. (And that they forget how to fight… <cough>) Although it sucked having my guild leave right when I was working hard to rebuild relations and move us beyond that, these things happen.
I don’t want to get into anything because as stated we do have a bright future on DB – and we have no interest in the past. But don’t say things like we forgot how to fight – that is so far from the truth and you know it. And the issues we left over go beyond personality clashes. We made our decision and are much happier for it. We have no interest in forum drama but I won’t let incorrect statements about our guild stand.
We wish the best for the handful of FIRE who stayed on JQ (and not all of those folks have left FIRE they will join us for our next game), and the same for the server as well.
EX-FIRE here too,
I’ve kicked from the guild because i refused to transfer,
You don’t have any bright future, you will have a temporal victory and sometime you will loose as everybody does,
But it’s okey, you can always transfer again,

Anet Never cease to amaze with their stupidity!
Time to find another game to play because this one has gone from Good, To bad, To worse.
Ey, they still manage to amaze me
Any moron knows that in order to win anything, you have to have an advantage. Is English your native language? You’ve butchered it.
In order to win you need to be more skilled, not stronger you kitten
That’s the point of the fair competition
We can speak in any of the other 3 languajes I speak, but i’m sure the only one you know is this one, right genious?
Have a nice day
(edited by Engels.8537)
As an IT guy myself, I just hope you don’t let those affect any of you personnally. “Clients” just want their needs satisfied, and in gaming we can be nasty clients.
Keep up the work!
As an IT guy myself too I know that after a certain period of time where, despite you start trying to find a solution, the customer is already so angry that he will try to kill you with a spoon as soon as he see you,
There’s a time for everything… there was no comunication and the only responses I heard were l2p, l2 master DS, we don’t want to make huge changes etc etc etc
Now we got the ranger hitting like a truck in companion of his pet (hitting like a truck too) and a freaking inmortal engineer…
As I said, thanks
PD: The balance team should be fired, but yesterday !
Thank you for giving 7 other classes to play while necro is being fixed.
Thank you for jagged horror, funny thing which keeps me in combat stance if I somehow manage to kill something and dies before next fight.
Thank you for marks which keep me in combat stance, especially if I dodge to avoid some random trash mob.
Thank you for all the traits which still do not work.
Thank you for fear, the awesome cc which has too short durations to be really useful
Thank you for nerfing all little stability boons we had
Thank you for having gap closers which do not work 90% of time.
Thank you for having DS with not many useful skills at all.
Thank you for nerfing axe
Thank you for nerfing DS
Thank you for nerfing stability, yes I want to say it twice.
Thank you for having tons of AoE with AoE limit of 5 targets
Thank you for having this awesome class with useless conditions. It is very fun to play if you go full power/toughness/vitality with no minions.
Thank you for having complicated self healing which doesn’t scale well if at all with healing power.
Thank you thank you.
Thank you for giving us eternal cast times
Thank you for not giving us burning or confusion for the sake of the balance… otherwise we would be OP as the engineers
Thank you for not giving us more access to poison
Thank you for a messed trait tree
Thank you for no acess to vigor
Thank you for not giving us tools to chase and kill our enemies
Thank you for not giving us tools to escape
Thank you for a slow motion class no leap abilities
Thank you for many useless abilities
Thank you for slow motion projectiles
Thank you for not giving us cleave weapons
Thank you for the bad look of our minions, two rats, the balloon, another rat with a tail and a chicken
Thank you for the bleed cap
Thank you for a class mechanic designed to be effective in a single build
Thank you… thank you so much
1) Rabid
2) Rabid
3) Rabid
I tried every single build on my necro, and rabid in almost every case was the best,
Regarding to 1v1 we can win many fights without a scratch, we are not horrible duelists… a experienced necromancer can give you a nasty surprise, the problem is when we face fast classes with lot of cc’s and short cast times,
As you progress you will face better and better oponents and our slow cast times, no access to vigor and our awful stun breakers will become more and more evident,
Here’s my take on thieves after having just lvl’d my thief to 80.
Let’s be honest — thief really isn’t the best class for DPS. There is a class that is suited much better than thieves to dish out the most damage, called Warrior. Of course, you can have a Thief with better gear against a more inferior Warrior, and the Thief would win, but if they both have exceptional gear with cleverly laid out build then overall, Warrior would beat Thief at this game.
DPS-wise, Thief is not the best.
Thief is also not as good as other classes for tanking. When people want to play their Thief as a tank, they’ll soon realize that it is hopeless despite having invested in Toughness, Healing, and Vitality; they will find themselves having to dodge out of combat instead of staying in combat for prolonged period of time, which is what an effective tanker should do.
Thief is not the best at tanking. It is the Guardian’s job.
Thief has some great support skills — they can stealth allies and give regeneration; give out venoms to the party; and are very effective at reviving downed allies with Shadow Refuge. However, there are couple other classes that are rewarded with better support skills. Guardian and Warrior all have shouts and such that will give a large amount of boons. Necromancers and their conditions will leave a challenge for opponents. Engineers and their inventions will supply a steady flow of support for the whole team.
Thief is not the best at support…
Finally, while Thief does have good condition skills.. there are Necromancers, Mesmers, and Engineers.
So what is the Thief the best at? Why go for a GC when you can roll a Warrior? and why would you ever think of making a tank/support thief?
Let’s be honest, you never ever touched other class and you are a complete noob,
So, you thought that you need the dps of a warrior, the stealth of a mesmer, the conditions of a necromancer and the toughness of a guardian…
Man… I cannot understand people that only plays when they have a huge advantage against the others, don’t you enjoy to fight another person in the same conditions? You need to have the advantage all the time?
Don’t you understand how the thief is meant to be played? You can go in full berserker, hit a couple of times a guy and kill him,
Plus, if you wasn’t able to kill him you can run away, restart the fight and come back… that’s the reason most fags play this class,
Try to go full berserker with a warrior,
Try to go full knight with a guardian,
Try to go full rabid with a necromancer,
Then you will realize why thieves at WvW are in the best spot to roam and kill at disposal with ease and almost no skill,
‘Stable matchups would be so boring. What people really want is fights where they have either no chance of winning, or no chance of losing. That will make it interesting! I mean, who doesn’t like playing games where it doesn’t matter if you actually play or if you just run around in circles yelling kitten and rubbing cake in your face??’
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I can’t stop laughing xD !!!!!!!!!!!!
Runes is the Rune of the Soldier(5) and than Crests of the Soldier for even more toughness and Vitality. Got about 33k HP currently.
Oh my beloved AH guardian with runes of the soldier and shouts… the reason I send my necromancer to oblivion,
It will be towards the end of June, most likely. They tend to do large patches on a monthly cycle, going back and forth between balance and fixing bugs/tooltips/etc.
Thxs for the answer !!
The new patch is going to be released this month?
@DarnDevil IV.2143
Epidemic relies on conditions remaining on enemies for the full duration, it never happens. If you’ve had such an Epidemic then your enemy zerg was just bad, period.
I always thought zergs were bunch of bad players trying to achieve something,
How does one tell the difference between a highly skilled thief and a button masher?
How does one tell the difference between a highly skilled thief and a button masher?
Because the highly skilled thieves do this kind of posts I guess…
One of the best ideas I ever read on this forum,
This would benefit power necros, (because most of them go 30 into spite and therefore 30% condition duration) and condition necros,
This will fit perfect with the idea of an attrition class,
Minion trait obvious idea,
Merge protection of the horde with reanimator and put it in the tier 3,
If you are giving an A to many of this traits obviously you didn’t see the other trait trees,
Dude, you would need to invent two new letters before the A…
I respect the hard work you did but this is fallacious,
By far our trait tree is behind the average,
You cannot say what’s good without taking in consideration what the others have,
It doesn’t matter how good you are trying to make it sound, our trait tree, in comparision with the rest, sucks
Why experience from kills is not shared?
Why a player can’t give at maximun 1 loot bag at die?
Why this game mode just promote mindless zerg?
Why you don’t need some degree of skill to play WvW?
Why the team with less players doesn’t get more points per structures under control?
Why doors and guardians are not strong based on the number of assaulters?
Because all this fits great with this new carrot you implemented to keep the donkeys running, the new levels?
Thanks in advance for the responses,
Best niche I found to the necromancer is to kill bunker guardians,
Besides that, the necromancer has nothing to offer… sad but true,
You can be as positive as you want, I play necro since the first beta, I’m level 32 at Spvp, I played hundred of tournaments and I can assure you, there’s no reason to bring a necro in the current state of the game,
Mention whatever rol you want and I’ll tell you a class who can perform better at it,
Maybe we are decent to destroy enemies trebuchets, we are great at defending underwaters points and as I said we excel at killing guardians,
Each time i read to Rennoko I confirm he’s one of the few guys in this section of the forum who has knowledge about the necro,
Some answer are hilarious,
Absolutely. It was much better back then. The old quickness stomp was awesome. To be honest i had never realized how bad ds was untill they nerfed quickness stomps.
Oh man, same thing happens to me :/ but to be fair, quickness resses was pretty crappy.
I just wish everyone could stomp at +75% speed at least.
Oh noes, poor ranger tried to gank lone PvE lolzerk warrior, don’t want to save stability for stomp and don’t want to have any blind abilities to prevent anti-stomp knockdown. Lol’d at this video, really.
Errr rangers only source of stability is our elite rampage as one and he’s using entangle instead, and our only blind source is raven’s F2, wich misses too much, and he’s running with drakes. That said, warriors kd is easily avoidable using melee pets so yeah, that wasn’t great.
The problem is – i don’t see here “bunch of PvE players take on a PvP player”. I see wannabe lolpwnU ranger, who started the fight trying to gank lone PvE player and fail.
But assuming everyone soloing on a ranger is a wannabe who copypasted a build he saw on the forums cus people said it was OP it’s pretty lame too, and this guy is not one of them.
Besides that, I think what a lot of people here are saying is that a PvPer should be able to kill 2-3 PvErs who have no idea what they are doing, and we all agree that 1vs3 equally skilled players is always gonna end up the same way.
By the way, how do people message people from enemy server? And how do they invite you into their group? o.O
If they have you targeted and open the party window thingy at the top, they can just press invite, they can also see your name that way, and of course your name is visible while they wait for you to accept or decline
They can’t see your name when they invite you, all they see is “Invader/Defender” and your server. But it becomes visible after a few minutes of having that pending invite. So the advice is, if you don’t wanna talk to them, decline the invitation and move on.
Ressing in combat is extremely powerful in most PvP games
Giving any terrible player the ability to do it, along with not actually have any penalty for being downed, along with having Random mobs instantly rally people is borderline stupid, and the worst mechanic i’ve seen in an MMO to date.
Video says it all.
But the saddest part is that downed state is the only reason why most players engage in 2vs1 – 3vs1 fights. Because they know the chances are they are not gonna die. All they have to do is res eachother until the enemy is full of cooldowns or more allies show up.
Remove downed state and players will even run away from 3vs1 fights until they can come back with 20 other people and zerg you down.
And watching the vid I can’t avoid thinking about rangers old quickness stomp.
I know Anet said it was bad cus people “couldn’t react”, but IMO it was perfect and everyone should stomp at that speed naturally.
Zergs never stomp their enemies anyways, it would only give roamers the chance to kill enemies in outmanned fights.
Yeah another game with a rank 7 now.
he was just following the guy with the “best armor” as he said.
Wait, you were the guy who said “oh kitten no, the rank 7 again” at the beggining of the match? And the guy was an ele with 4 signets?
I lol’d hard at that, and he got the higher score hahahha
Because most players like following their zergs with their zerker gear, and tag as many enemies as they can to have higher chances of getting loot bags and rallying?
Or because people running around with 2 friends would rage quit and /uninstall if a solo roamer could actually kill them instead of downing them and watch them res each other time after time after time?
Too many questions.
It’s all about how sensitive you are. If you can’t handle the trolls and trash talkers then don’t accept the invites.
I for myself love those, almost as much as I love getting to talk to other players, discussing builds and dueling. Forming a gank party with people from other servers is fun too :p
And I /join or /invite all the time really. Usually just trash talk 10 guildies chasing me around the map or people /laughing at me after zerging me down, or CoD kids teabagging my corpse after killing me with 5 more people or rangers exploiting the pet rez underwater, etc.
All the rest are for giving the grats and ask for their builds and stuff.
I agree with google, it’s a boring experience for everyone.
barbed precision = average
furious demise = average
target the weak = useless
I bet most people disagree with this assessment. I certainly do on Target the Weak, which imo is one of the best minor traits we have.
I think you didn’t get the point, maybe I express myself bad (probably because i’m not good at english),
I’m not saying that “target the weak” is useless, is in the wrong place, in a condition tree a major trait who increases direct damage for each condition on a foe is not well placed,
In a hybrid build maybe it works great,
Same with protection of the horde and reanimator, if you are a MM they are decent, any other build who decided to invest 20 points here is getting two useless traits,
Our traits has no synergy, some of them are hilarious as Siphoned Power and many of them completly useless, plus most of them are wrong placed and mixed up,
Take a look to this…
Adept => Vigorous Precision
Gain 5 seconds of vigor when you deliver a critical hit. This effect can only trigger once every 5 seconds.
Master => Selfless Daring
The end of your dodge roll heals nearby allies.
Grandmaster => Elusive Power
Deal more damage at low endurance. (10% more)
This is called synergy when one trait becomes more powerfull with another, in other words what you can see here is 1 + 1 + 1 = 6, and it’s not build dependant, it will help you no matter your build,
This synergy on the necromancer it’s only present with reanimator and protection of the horde,
And vitality doesn’t work well with an attrition class in my humble opinion, with a necromancer once your hp’s gone it’s not coming back, the idea of an attrition class is to outlast your oponent, not to survive a furious burst while doing little damage,
Of course, that’s a personal preference, in my build i didn’t add even a single vitality point and after hours and hours of gameplay I can assure that my survival increased,
Anyway it’s pretty obvious you can’t learn anything because you are beyond mere mortals wich such explanations,
You cannot be serious,
At this point you are defending the undefendable,
Did i say that vitality is bad?
In my build i have spectral armor dude…
I have gone to SR due master of terror (and because last gasp is the best minor trait we have), this way I can get a second tick with terror, because as I said ironically condition duration is not a option for a condition necro because our trait tree is a mess,
Soul marks and master of terror are master traits,
Foot in the grave sounds great on paper, for a condition necro to obtain LF is not that easy, you are going to spend 30 points to stomp somebody and then be unable to use #2 and #3? (I’m talking about Spvp here)
Plus you are getting critical damage and life force pool…
I’d prefer to get toughness and Reaper’s Protection wich saved my kitten a lot of times, (and because our stun breakers sucks)
Now tell me please where could i put my points on a condition necro?
I could put them on the first one just to get +30 condition duration, despite all of them are useless to me, except maybe chill of death,
Blood magic? Oh no thanks… hell no,
Saying that the necromancer’s trait tree is ok shows me that the only class you played is a necromancer,
I never said that a warrior is ok for Spvp, in fact they are the worst class at the moment,
Now put words in my mouth that i didnt say, maybe it works,
Not going to answer anymore,
My necro…
barbed precision = average
furious demise = average
target the weak = useless
reanimator = completly useless
protection of the horde = completly useless
Gluttony = useless
Last grasp = delicious, the exception to the rule
My Guardian…
Valorous Defense = good
Courageous Return = average
Might of the Protector = good
Vigorous Precision = excepcional
Selfless Daring = very good
Elusive Power = very good
Inspired Virtue = very good
My ranger…
Natural Vigor = exceptional
Companion´s Defense = exceptional
Peak Strength = average
Rejuvenation = average
Zephyr’s Speed = very good
Loud Whistle = very good
Nature’s Wrath = very good
Do i need to do this for my thief and warrior?
Only thing i strongly disagree with you is #14,
Alongside the warrior our trait trees are by far the worst in game,
Just take a look to the other classes, it’s really hard to decide where to put your points,
On the warrior and the necromancer is more like a discard,
On the other hand, minor traits on the necromancer are painfull useless, in fact i could disable many of them and loose exactly nothing,
Nop, you need to do “some” damage with your dagger to get the stack,
Good choise on sigils btw,
We need…
1# More access to condition duration, besides our trait tree and food is really really hard to get and reach to 100% bleed and fear duration is an odyssey forcing us to pick horrible runes, (literally imposible on Spvp),
2# Condition duration in a tree focused to direct damage is like a kick on the face, anyway every class has to deal with this stupid design,
3# Maybe lingering curse could be 20% condition duration in general instead a 33% condition duration on scepter, (plus only 2 of 3 attacks inflicts conditions),
4# Reanimator and protection of the horde needs to go to hell,
5# We need access to stability,
6# We need access to vigor,
7# Cast times needs to be reduced,
8# Dark path needs to be like doom, insta casted with no animation or projectile,
9# Axe damage needs to be increased,
10# Auto attack on staff needs to be redesigned,
11# We need a cleave weapon,
12# We need to start with our LF filled on Spvp,
13# A light armor class with a short range dagger and the worst mobility in game, really? I’d make a thief, with medium armor and stealth… oh, and no stability, no vigor, no damage reduction…
14# Our trait tree sucks, it’s even worst than the warrior one, (and the warrior trait tree is awfull),
Oh… and we DON’T NEED A NEW CONDITION, not even burning or confusion,
Nobody will be able to escape from you guys…
All I’m saying is that hotjoins were already a zergfest, but the new custom arenas “Only Mid Point TDM glory farming” it’s a bit too much.
Why not allowing players to create Arenas where you level +10 ranks per match then? Progression is one thing, but this is different.
I don’t think the state of hotjoins/custom arenas do any good to attract new players, and anyways, I’d rather have less players who play the game for the sake of having fun/getting better/winning, instead of bringing the CoF path 1 gold farming mentality into sPvP.
