U play gw2 pvp 1st day? Ofc pve will be 1st , www 2nd then long long time nothing and at the end pvp. Dont hope for anything good.
Yes thx to awsome ideas from devs ppl easly farmed ranks , some ppl were working kitten thier rank since realese , then anet make a patch and 1 month later 90% of ppl is runing rank 50 GJ ANET.
Senso u have my support always but is time to say enough , dont waste your time .
man devs dont care deal with that , they will ignore everything that u will try to explain to them.
Lets be honest , we are completly ignored , non of sugestion made here on forum was not implemented even those realy good one that would improve the game. Its realy sad , there is no teamwork between comunity and team responsible for pvp.

Ppl are tring to help improving this game , they are able write tons of text just to help , lets be honest this game wont improve never , best games are those made by players it was always like that but here devs know better and we see what we have now…

hey guys so my opinion on this “nerf” is rather positive. We all knew that this trait is bad designed and need to be changed , 1st dhumfire should never be a condi trait , this trait should be for power builds. Ofc there is no logic in all of this , i mean necro was well balanced class in game , then they buffed everything ealse and necro was kinda weak but still when it comes to balance was in good position. Then they buffed necro with dhum , ofc trait was OP so they nerfed fear dmg , then burn duration , then our bleeds and our best deffensive trait , and at the end they are puting burn to the spot ehere it should be from start.I am not gonna complain about how devs balance this game becouse its usless , they just dont listen to the comunity so the balance wont improve just deal with that guys and have fun in the game. The only thing that might help is that after necro upcoming change they will start to balance other profesions around necro and guards for example cut down some dmg , cut down other profesions condi spam , cut down those bad designed traits like AR , Zerk stance etc. I hope beside this dhum change we will get some nice things , atm i am testing one build that with new runes/sigils might be realy strong , but lets just chill and w8 till patch.

i love when ppl who play just bad come on the forum make a topiv and QQ about smt , MM is good 1v1 and its easy to beat if u know how but yes it takes some skill and ofc for some ppl its too much
I want to talk , how can we imprve necro in current state of the game , i want ppl to make some sugestions but about our deffense and about some of our usless traits . I feel necro is in worst situation ever was , even before we gor burn i felt that necro is in good position when comes to balance. Atm every other profesion fits to capture game mode , they have great mobility or great sustain via blocks/evades etc. Necro dont have anything thats why i would like to see some good ideas here and i hope devs will read that.
My sugestion :
Signet mastery – Reduces recharge on signets. Activating a signet grants might. // I would add here , pasive affect us in DS but only 50% of it. Why 50%? Becouse i think 100% would make vamp signet to strong and 50% feel ok.
Siphoned Power – Gain might when your health falls below the 25% threshold. // I would change it to 33% threshold
Reaper’s Precision – You have 33% chance to gain life force on critical hits. // I would change 33% -> 50%
Reanimator – Yeah i know we all love this trait // I would move this trait into Death Nova trait and give us here 2s of protecion when going DS
Dark Armor – Gain toughness while channeling. // I would add here block effect when we channel but also move this trait into Master line and move Death Shiver trait to adept.
Protection of the Horde – Gain toughness for each minion you control. // i would change it to gaing 20 toughnes for each condi on us , we have enough minion traits in this line
Spectral Walk – Create a shadow tether and become spectral, gaining life force when struck. // I would change tether into dark path on the ground and when enemy will cross it . will be crippled for 1-2s
Well of Power – Target area pulses, converting conditions on allies into boons and gain 1s stability. // I would change into gain 1s stability every pulse
Flesh Wurm -> Necrotic Traversal – Sacrifice your flesh wurm, teleport to it, and poison foes Range: 1,200 // i would change the rane to 3000 , why? Becouse its still easy to counter , just kill the wurm , mesmers have thier portals and thief shadow traps witch are uncounterable.
its to late to change/nerf buring , they already tooked a lot of our bleeds + terror dmg nerf , if they will nerf dhumfire necro will not do any dmg , devs dont listen to us….
this only shows hoe anet dont give a **** about ppl who are fully dedicated to pvp GJ ANET

I’m actually hoping to address some of that with the long-term ideas. The only issue with those is that they’re actual skill additions instead of skill reworkings. I really do feel that Necromancer is poorly designed in that it’s one of the most spam-centric classes in this game. It has very poor support capabilities. It’s typical function is just pressing all of the buttons to vomit out as many conditions as possible on a target, and I don’t believe that that’s even in line with the “attrition model” that ANet actually had intended for it.
Necromancer needs more long cast-times and support abilities. This could better define its battle position. By battle position, I often look to DPS Staff Elementalist. A DPS Staff Elementalist knows that he/she is probably toast if he/she attempts to go head-long into a fray on a point and only does so as a desperation move when other options aren’t working. A DPS Staff Elementalist is cemented off point and in the backline of his/her allies. You know where to find this player. Necromancers don’t have this. They just sort of scoot about while pressing buttons, never really suffering from range swapping. By better defining the location/distance from which most of a Necromancer’s powerful skills are effective, this class can come back into its own as a well defined class with a role in any given encounter.
Thats why your sugestions will never work.1st necro is the easiest profesion to focus and kill , 2nd necro is the profession with longest cast times in game , 3rd necro is the only class without defensive abilitys.DS? Plague? nope it wont never help u when u are focused. To balance necro dmg/condi spam etc u need to start from reworking defensive aspect of thiss class.

I’m all for new power builds on necro (takes actual skill, unlike dumbfire).
But how does this build setup fairs in a 1-1 scenario or a 1vx? Cause most of vid 1 you’re point rushing with 3 or 4 ppl. At that point any build will basically kill stuff lol.

I use scepter becouse the dmg is still great and it give me kinda more sustain , axe is pretty bad the smg is ok but u need to be quite close to the target , and chill of death trait is aswmoe in power build , once when i went lich form i hit thief with that trait for 6k :P

Warrior does not have even half the defenses of a Mesmer and with all those defenses if you couldn’t dodge the obvious Eviscerate animation its a learn to play issue.

the problem is that u dont even need to run condi build to kill ppl with burning example
legacy map – team fight – guardian stacking might – war stacking might – ranger with sun spirit – necro with dhumm masive burning spam , like other condis are not so strong , only the burning is the problem. Few months before noone was complaing about condis why?? Becouse even if teams were running some condi setup they didn had so much acces to burning , there was no bow war , no spirit rangers , no necro with dhumm , burning is breaking this game covered with might stacks.
few times i notcied one bud but its realy rare , i got rally when guy from my team was stomped , its happend to once and i saw same thing two times when i stoped enemy guy and other enemy got rally
the problem on necro with burinig is that every necro wanted to remove it or change buring , right now necro is getting less and less bleeds , teror nerf , weaknes nerf etc. so if they will nerf burning nerco will do zero dmg. This the logic of anet reales of the game necro good balance -> buffing other profesions and necro is out of the game -> promised buffs , necro got buring -> necro OP -> nerf necro to the ground
The only thing i would change in general on burning that it would scale diffrent , 0 condi dmg burning kits for 20-50 then scale better with condi dmg , is not fun when for example war runing with 10-20 stacks of might running with bow is doing great direct dmg + burn u for 400 every second , then spirit ranger with sun spirit hell yeah now everyone are running with 10-15 stacks of might and burn eveything around. Burnig is broken in this game and most of proffesion have to easy acces to it.
the build i linked is build used on hight tier pvp , Avatar power build in competetive level pvp in this game is not vaible at all
i think nightmare runes are broken and can proc thru stability,blocks,distortion etc
necro should have ability to heal in DS , some ppl can say it might be to strong but every necro will agree that when u are hard focus by 2-3 dps ppl DS wont help u much. The only thing is 1v1 situation , then healing in DS might be to strong :P

This build have everything u need , some mobility , realy good dmg , some sustain , its the most common build in competetive pvp , some runes/sigils can be swaped

This trait shows how devs have no clue about pvp in this game. Ofc we can agree for some counter traits/builds but this is hard counter and its a big diffrence. When u have smt like hard counter in the game u know that this game is far away from balance.
I see a lot of strange posts here. Power necro in competetive pvp? No way , its never gonna work , never , as a condi necro u are easy target to focus , on power u will be just free kill whole time.
Its funny how devs haveno idea what to do with necro , they are buffing usless traits that should not even exist , they are nerfing things that are working good. Ppl on necro forum have so many good ideas but dev not even bother to go there and read this.
I am not sure if eles will use this trait , and if this even make eles vaible , but that kind of things should not even exist. I hope some day anet will realize that they are ideas are just not working and its time to start listen to ppl who actualy play this game and sepnded thousnds of hours playing pvp.
