when it comes to chill i dont think dmg is a problem , in my opinion the uptime is way to high

Well i am not very experienced ele player but i think problem with ele is bigger. Ele is just bad designed class , same goes for mesmer and thief. Those 3 classes are either completely broken and OP or totally useless , there is nothing betwen.

I always considered necro as a one of the best balanced classes in game. Simply because necro had no access to build that would give u sustain , mobility , dmg and support at once. Atm necro can output rly high condi pressure with combination of self condi stacking + boon corupt , i play necro very long time and toning down duration of chill could make things more balanced for sure but at the same time u need to remember that necro have many flaws and still can be focused down very ezy and suffer from lack of mobility.

I think that’s the bigest problem in game atm , cele ele had acces to everything , there was no solid counter to that . In my opinion to balance ele but also thief and mesmer anet have to think about completely reworking those classes.

Every good thief will always counter necro , thief can just outsustain necro in fight.

Good thief will be as always good counter to necros.

There is 1 big problem with anet trying to balance. They actualy dont balance they just buff buff buff , every bigger balance patch looks the same. They nerf a bit some broken mechanics and buff stuff that was not used , problem is that when u nerf broken mechanics that unused stuff is getting stronger and buffing it even more end up with complete power creep.

Look what they gonan do with thief , they gonan buff it , i ask kitten why u wanna buff thief????

Look atm on the boon spam , i watched video made before HOT and compered it to games now. Its just crazy , perma vigor , swiftnes , 20+ might , regen , protection etc.

well thats the problem with this whole system , its just gring. Everyone can get legend and if some ppl think that having legend means smt in this game , well they should better get a life or smt.

well i know this Mynatrix guy , he i abusing this sytem for quite long. Last time when i meet him with his preamde , keep in mind my team was 5 solo ppl , he pushed close against me on necro and was abusing ranger bug like crazy , still lost 1v1. If i rember right we won smt lik 200-500. Worst part was that i got only 1 pip for that win.

I don’t disagree with you points per se. Only that what the OP stated is incredibly frustrating to experience.

Personally I wish ANet would just get away from this competitive scene. I dont know what marketing they got out of it, because from the ground up it looks like it hasnt really worked.

What i will tell is from pvp perspective.

Atm most vaible build for necro is condi with scepter and ofc its range. There is no way to make a solid power build with dagger main or axe ( witch is still very bad) simply becouse of the amount of cleave and cc we have in game. Necro lack blocks , invurls etc. I was sure that with expansion reaper will get range dps weapon but we got completly usless greasword.

how can u say that this or this is OP. I play reaper most of the time maruder or zerk and yeah ofc i can hit like a truck but high hitting skills have over 1s cast time an obvious animations and ppl dont even dodge things they shoudl simply becouse ppl are not used to play agains that. Same thing wih rev , scraper , druid and every other profesions.

I was dueling friend , he was playing revenant and he was kitten me in few sec over and over becouse i had no clue what he is doing , but when I knew what should I dodge or los was much betetr and finnaly i was able to win some duels.

Just look on necro GS , its such a hard hitting weapon that can hit for 10-15k but when ppl will get used to that and they will know what they need to dodge gs on necro wont be even used simply becouse its to slow.

in high tier pvp gs wont be vailble , just to slow.

i was playing almoust same build today and i must say that with right team como this build have potencial

Ok OP u are are right we are loosing DS our core mechanic but thats why so far Reaper in my opinion is the bets spec so far

OK LISTEN! the bug is only on Khylo map if i remebre it right and its there since realese of the game , was reported multiple times and nothing happend to fix that. Atm ppl are complaining on necros becouse they have no idea how to deal with them , they face tank every single hit , they keep attacking when necro have spectral armor up and things like that. Well guys its time to lern few things about necros. Bigest problem for reaper is range , every single decent ranger or mesmer shoul be able to kill reaper , ofc if he knows what to do. Its funny becouse for the past 3 years necro was basicly free kill and now when necro actually can stand on point and do some dmg ppl cry that its broken :P

necro has way to much sustain. Both my thief and ranger(both valk builds) have high burst and decent sustain. Neither can blow though a valk/soliders nerco and even if we get them low they just reset like an ele would.

It literally feels like playing against the current d/d ele.

The incoming damage feel fine to play agaisnt tho. I feel that is something they got right for sure.

u guys are funny , rly noobs lern to play insted of complaing on necro . Sry but necro i far from being OP. Ppl got used to free kill necros , ppl dont even pay attencion what necro is doing. Idk how many time i was in 1v1 situation and ppl just face tank eveything. And rly the dmg on necro is not so high. Start using a brain when u fight necri insted of trying to facroll them.

Necro was very ezy to target and get down for long time and ppl just got used to that without even watching what necro is actually doing. Ppl keep attacking when necro pop his spectral armor and doing that necro can get big amounts of lifr force , same goes for the pasive one witch procks on 50%. Next thing lucus swarm ( 5 horn skill) witch gives necro big amounts of lf when u hit multiple targets. PPl still thinks that necro is a ezy target , well its not and deal with that. Necro is far from being OP.
