Interesting that you don’t use Sword in these clips. I believe your combat style is more like a condibomb with very high bleeding spike and depending on first seconds of fight.
If I were you though, I’d get traveler runes and get flame trap instead of SoH at least.Also, try forcing foe’s condi clears with Lynx bleeds in the beginning. They don’t do much, but 4-8 bleeds use that one condi clear and considering you rely on one-two dps conditions, it may make a use against better opponents

Uncanny how you can get Hide In Plain Sight to work. I always end up moving and break the stealth.
You don’t have to stand still to stay cloaked. You probably attack and that’s what breaks the stealth.
Agree….and I have a tough time not having that happen. In fact I don’t even now how you would prevent that with the SB firing away on auto. Obviously I am missing something ..which wouldn’t be the first time

The current warrior issues seem largely due to the sum of the parts. The combination of cleansing ire, healing signet, adrenal health and dogged march are what creates these scenarios. Lose any of the 4 and sustain drops noticeably. They’ve all been very meta and with things being so condition happy its honestly not a huge surprise. Combined with warrior’s large tool box of CC. movement options and immunities, they can be extremely difficult to stop, especially 1v1.
Add in the runes and food ( namely mango pie or lemongrass ) and bam. The combination of the above really is a strong anti condition meta but as mentioned before, cripple, chill and immobilize, all being condition based CC, are nearly useless against said setups ( again with the correct food / rune combos, of which do seem to be very popular in WvW ) This effects direct damage builds as well which often rely on these conditions for added control.
In the end this leaves warriors such as these only truly vulnerable to knockdowns, dazes, stuns and a lot of damage direct. They require follow through or they’ll scurry away and reset the fight passively with minimal difficulty.
Its a tough thing to balance because its not any one thing alone that would destroy things, it would only handicap it. Personally, I’d be interested to see a short cool down addition to dogged march’s condition component however. Would be nice to see a cripple on a warrior last more than .25 seconds

My main is a Ranger. My second is a Warrior who has 500+ hours in WvW. So not an expert by any means.
I spend far too much time theory crafting and trying new builds. When going back to my Ranger I realize one big difference between the classes. if I want to heal on the Ranger, I have to build for it…at the expense of something else. If I want a power spec, same thing, I lose somewhere else. etc etc
With Warrior, if I focus on something, the other attributes don’t take as big of hit. Go power build? My HPs, toughness, healing and mobility aren’t terrible.
I think that’s what gets people fired up.
…and no, I don’t want to see Warriors nerfed.

Changing builds like dueling scum
nah, it was against 2 mag scum in WvW last night
I was fighting a Warrior near SW camp and the 2 necros came along and used Sig of Spite on me. Kind of a waste imo but whatever. So I released and came out at nw tower and guess who I see running otw to N camp ..the 2 necros. So I ported and as I ran to N camp I switched the one trait to diamond skin…and it worked well !

My main is a Ranger. I also dabble with Warrior and Thief. Playing around with builds on these classes I was thinking how good Earth line is.
IMHO all 12 choices have something to offer depending on your build and preference. I don’t recall having to make tougher decisions when picking only 3.
The kind of cool thing is changing something before an anticipated fight. I knew I was going to face 2 Necroes in a fight so I switched to Diamond Skin right before fight. Worked well.

I’ve been in a situation before where I miss dagger when I equip focus, and I miss focus when I equip dagger… they need a combined form, like a dagus.

That is freaking awesome KFC. I have watched many videos and I don’t recall seeing anyone playing with as much skill as you do.
I think it drives a melee class crazy trying to get at you. the Rifle/hammer Warrior fight is a great example. At the start of the fight he did a good job avoiding your Lava Fonts. A few minutes in I can imagine him raging because he was having such a tough time hitting you consistently. So when he actually got close enough to hit you he was more than happy to eat the Lava just to have the satisfaction to actually hit you.
Me thinks that is part of your strategy. Lots of patience waiting for the other guy to lose patience and make mistakes

Venom share with thieves guild is some of the lamest crap I’ve ever seen. If it fails do you just run away? Try 5/0/30/15/20 and you can get +100% bleed duration if I remember right. You won’t get any better relying on thieves guild in a 1v1.
I don’t think you need to run away when TG is down. It helps burst though …like many other elites or utilities.
You can settle down though, today I altered the build a bit as carspoy suggested. No Venom share.
