– Unknown Fire Elementalist
To Hell with Tonics and Outfits! They did a rotten job of matching the Town Clothing pieces together to make Tonics. I’m not sure I would bother transmuting my Tonics into Outfits because of the poor combos they thrust upon us.
My solution? RESTORE TOWN CLOTHES! Put them back in the game EXACTLY AS BEFORE! Keep Outfits. I’m not saying to get rid of Outfits (though I’ll never buy any). But there is NO REASON Town Clothes could not be put back into the game. Darned few pieces (mostly hats) were turned into Outfits anyway. Just un-Tonic them and give us back our mix ‘n’ matchable non-combat clothing!
Assuming that the current Lunar New Year Festival is supposed to more or less correspond to the Dragon Bash, it falls way short. We have the Dragon Ball activity, a new Vendor, and a lightly decorated Queen’s Pavilion.
With Dragon Bash we had THIS! …
I personally would LOVE for my Elementalist to be able to simply HOLD a Torch with no skills, simply so she has a light source for dark areas. (You would think an Elementalist would have the most weapons/ways to shed light; instead they have the least. But that’s another topic).
there is\was an item for that actually
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Flames_of_Kryta
Gives ya a torch when you use it. Would be neat if they could introduce bundle items like this with 1 time use or something
Thanks… I actually use that when my character has it in her Inventory (but it was a one-per-account item, so she doesn’t always have it.) I also use the Effigy Fragment (just such a one-use bundle item as you are suggesting). Neither is very bright, but they help. I would love a blue flame sort of like the greatsword “Cobalt”. Torch weapons have a variety of colors to experiment with, but I don’t know of any weapon an Elementalist can use right now that sheds light.
I’m really hoping for a new Staff to come around that sheds light; that’s my weapon of choice and I wouldn’t have to worry about being attacked without a weapon in my hand. My other possibility is that HoT may give the Elementalist a new weapon choice that already has some glowing versions in-game.
Forget Razer. I used to swear by them, but eventually I discovered that I was buying them at a rate of about one new mouse every year. They feel good, and seem high quality, but they don’t last. I had an original Naga… detested the button cluster. Way too much going on there in one cramped area. I had to physically look at my thumb sometimes. (And Razer knew it was a mess – they included some sticky pads for me to glue onto the buttons of my choice to better tell which ones I was pressing).
I’ve barely ever used Logitech. They always seemed way too big. I hate “palming” my mouse. I prefer more of a fingertip, or “claw” grip.
After YEARS of new mice, I am overjoyed with a relative unknown. Try the Corsair Vengeance
http://www.corsair.com/en-us/vengeance-m95-performance-mmo-and-rts-laser-gaming-mouse-gunmetal-black
They are on the M95 now. Mine is the M90. I couldn’t tell you what the difference is; they look the same to me.
Main points:
You won’t be sorry!
(Then check out my Corsair keyboard!)
I personally love outfits, they allow me to have two looks on my character.
I never wear Outfits, and I have hundreds of looks for my characters.
Mix ‘n’ Match is where it’s at, Baby! Some of the Outfits look really great, but I will never buy one because I don’t care to look exactly like everyone else.
(And no, I don’t use tons of transmutation charges. Only rarely. The introduction of the wardrobe changed nothing for me. I always had and always will have multiple armor pieces available for each of my characters. Sure, it takes a little storage space. But as often as I change my looks, it beats the hell out of buying transmutation charges all the time.)
But how can it be immersion breaking when lore wise it fits. Warriors in GW1 lore (200 years ago) also prayed to the same gods that offered magic to other classes, so I don’t see how its a far reach for warriors 200 years later to be able to wield magical weapons. Show me lore wise why they can’t.
Lore-wise… that can be argued several ways. I personally would LOVE for my Elementalist to be able to simply HOLD a Torch with no skills, simply so she has a light source for dark areas. (You would think an Elementalist would have the most weapons/ways to shed light; instead they have the least. But that’s another topic).
The main, plain reason every character can’t use every weapon is that is would be problematical for them to implement. Think of it: every weapon in the game would have to have it’s own set of skills for 8 (16??) different professions. Then ANet has to balance those skills.
I would love to see more choices, but it would be a ton of work and a lifetime of balancing.
As the OP pointed out, there was no mention of a Festival. No e-mail, no in-game mail, and nothing on the Welcome screen. If the extended download hadn’t prompted me to check the Game Updates webpage, I would never have known anything was going on.
So… Magic Find does affect what you get in your envelopes (including Essences of Luck). So the more luck I have the more I get? The rich keep getting richer, and the poor keep getting stomped on by the boot of RNG. Or am I missing something here?
The Lunar New Year Daily forced me to do PvP (Dragonball). If ANet follows their Modus Operandi, this won’t change. (I hate PvP with a passion, thank you very much). When I entered the game I was killed before I moved more than a few feet. This continued through the entire match every time I respawned (the other team finally winning with a score of something like 500 to 45) so I had no opportunity to figure out what was going on or what I was supposed to do. Fun, fun, fun! The joys of PvP. I’m sure if I had been randomly placed with the other team, then I might have had a chance to figure things out. But the gods of RNG placed me in a horrible mismatch for my first time out, so my poor view of PvP was not changed for the better. I don’t see any reason to give it another try.
So that’s my take on it so far. I hate to say it, but I suppose it’s just as well they didn’t notify us that anything was going on, since I’m not seeing much of anything worth doing anyhow. The only rewards I see worth anything to me is Luck, but I don’t want it bad enough to do PvP and to keep rapidly filling my precious Inventory space with Festival trash.
If it were ARMOR instead of an OUTFIT, then you could hide those shoulders, or use some from a different set.
Signed: Chairman of the Never Gonna Buy an Outfit Club of Tyria
Just sayin’…
I didn’t get an e-mail or an in-game mail… I barely knew there was a festival. Even the Welcome screen says nothing. If I hadn’t gone to the Update Notes page when I saw that we were getting a sizable download, I might never have known.
Or it could be the god’s response to the quality of your dancing. Try it in front of a statue of Kormir. Her kind nature accompanied by a handy blindfold ensure an enthusiastic reception when you cut a rug. (Assuming you aren’t one of the characters who also makes a bunch of weird grunts and noises when they dance).
Dunno if it’s been brought up before. Dunno if ANet has addressed it yet, but it concerns me greatly.
If I let my Ranger check out the path of the Druid, and then decide I don’t care for it, will I be able to return to my Rangerly ways by just dropping the staff and picking up my bow again? Or will I be stuck-outta-luck?
(Of course, the same goes for all the other new Profession incarnations as well.)
I don’t relish the idea of leveling new characters to explore the new content, but I would like it even less if it permanently changed for the worse a character I’ve already spent lots of time developing.
Anybody heard anything?
We need more Aura-Accessories
Awesome! I’m glad you like flashy effects! But they aren’t for everyone. I would love it if they made some Legendaries without all the Las Vegas glitter and lights. It would finally give me something to shoot for post level 80.
Auras and other Particle Effects cause screen clutter, making opponents hard to see (therefore hard to dodge/react to). The more screen clutter, the more lag. They take away my mini pet when it gets crowded… now take away the real frame-rate eaters! And let’s face it; not everybody likes auras and footprints and swooshes on their gear due to simple aesthetic preferences.
We need check-boxes in our OPTIONS to be able to turn off auras and other particle effects for ourselves.
Checkboxes to hide:
Promises of the future: an Asura Engineer’s dream come true!
(edited by Hamfast.8719)
I think I’m going to be seeing that fish every time I go to the SW now. Thanks a lot ._.
(laugh) Now I’ll never not see the ship as that fish.
Sorry, guys… this is one of those “once seen, it can never be unseen” things I guess. Look at it from the bright side: they could have designed the Pact airship to resemble actor Steve Buscemi. The fish is looking pretty good now, huh?
Possibly some racial overtones? Leaf-like wings for Sylvari, a techie-looking (Inspector Gadget) contraption for Asura, an industrial steam-punkish rig for Charr, big snow-owl wings for Norn, etc. Butterfly wings, iridescent dragonfly wings, bird (feathered) wings, draconic wings (leathery and/or scaled), wood and canvas wings, buffalo wings, Paul McCartney and Wings, fiery (elemental/djinn) wings, Red Baron tri-wings.
And FINALLY people will buy that Aviator’s cap that has been in the Gem Store since day one!
Hang-Gliding looks like it could be fun, but from the glimpses we see in the trailer the gliders look pretty ugly to me. I hope we can skin ’em. (Hint, hint…).
I guess the spar at the bow of the Pact ship must represent the jet of water that an Archer fish shoots at it’s prey.
I guess he’s a Ranger.
I’m not the only one who has ever kept tropical fish… right? Every time I enter the Silverwastes I see an Archer Fish.
More “normal” sized weapons! More “normal” sized shoulder armor!
P L E A S E !
Humans killed the Human god Balthazar.
thats a Lie!
Balthazar is still there good and alive.
You may be refering to another event of our past when human heroes of Elona have slain fallen god Abaddon….
Ahh, yes. Thank you for the correction. It’s been a few years and it was dark in that dungeon! (Not that it bothered our guide, since she was blind anyway).
The best gear/stats: This means to have statistically the best abilities in the game, you shouldn’t need to, by our definition of the word, grind. This goes for leveling and getting top gear (by our definition that’s ascended gear.)
But you do have to craft.
Grind: To us, grind means being required to do the same boring activity over and over again
Crafting is doing the same boring activity over and over again. And we are required to do it in order to get the Ascended gear we want. I’ve been able to level my crafting following online guides, but I’ve never gotten the hang of it. And sitting at that table in town scratching my head frustrates the hell out of me. I am not alone in my hatred of crafting.
I have no issue with attaining the materials. It’s knowing what I need and then putting them all together. The only Ascended stuff I’ve been able to get is Trinkets/Accessories. I would love to be able to get weapons, and to a lesser extent armor.
Please, PLEASE. PLEASE can’t you develop a system for those of us who despise crafting to get Ascended gear? (Clue: RNG is not a “system”).
Evil seductive lustful laughter’Ahhhhhh hahahahahahahaaha! As if you think you can capture me!?mIf you can even find me, or maybe better yet, notice the real me! Eeeee heeee heee. MORDREMOTH is my lover, my dear daddy! And with my advance Mesmer abilities I will warp all of your minds! My big strong daddy, is Master of plants and mind, and as a Sylvari mesmer, iam his blade that will cut anyone who crosses him!
Distorts out of reality, laughing sinisterly
Yes, definitely some gray area here. I’m still not sure…
segman.3560 is correct. It is a bug.
This particular bug is an Asuran Rust Roach. Notice the yellow text. It will turn red if you attack it and attempt to rust out any metal armors or weapons you may have. I would leave it alone if I were you.
Hated Cantha as a PvEer. Might be fine for PvP tastes, but I didn’t like it.
Of course this is personal taste stuff mostly. But it would give the edge to Elona as far as I’m concerned. But I’m in favor of any new lands opening up as long as they aren’t too hard to navigate. (Not fond of all the jumping required in Dry Top, or all the running required in Silverwastes due to lack of waypoints.)
Foolish Sylvari! As your sister Sylvari I say F*** all of the other races who wish to hate us. I can’t wait to tangle them in my poisonous vines of lust and death! Come at me races of Tyria, me and my brethren will kill you all with pleasure! HAIL MORDREMOTH!!!
Okay, now. HERE is a pretty good sign that this person just might be one of the more weak-minded Sylvari capable of being turned by Mordremoth. Get her, fellas!
But be gentle. We can’t be certain. Some questioning may be in order. There still seems to be a little gray area here.
I feel like maybe the group to really support the sylvari when time passes are gonna be the norn. After all..what greater hunt can there be than to kill your own maker.
The Charr threw down their gods in GW1. Humans killed the Human god Balthazar. Even the golems are presumed destined to have an uprising against their Asuran masters. Why can’t Sylvari rebel against one who holds a measure of power over them?
We will plant the seeds of rebellion, and root ourselves to our branch of beliefs. We will leave behind the blooming idiots who doubt us, and sap our resolve to weed out the threat of Mordremoth!
Would you like to be a Sylvari on a zamboni? I know a dude in Toronto.
Only if you can assure me he’s an ice guy. (A nice guy? Get it? Get it?) Ahh, Sylvari humor. Lettuce spray it doesn’t catch on.
Please! Someone help me! I can’t stop saying “More violets, less violence”! I’m driving myself insaaaaaane!
Sylvari are salads. We’re “good for you”. The rest of you are meat. You’re just plain good! Yum!
Concerning the Bobblehead prank. It made me physically sick and I wasn’t able to play that entire day because of it. So please think of that before you label all of us “haters”.
Well you hated it because it made you physically sick, right? Wouldn’t my suggestion for a way to opt out still help? Whatever.
I think my positive suggestion is the more important thing to take away from my post than the fact that I might not have been politically correct in my wording. I hope it gets implemented in some form.
one of my main’s is sylvari. Did you even go trough the sylvari story? Heck did you even see the dream? Like did you even try to create a sylvari?
Also perhaps go trough living story season 2 where Caithe is perfectly fine in slaughtering a friendly tribe of centaurs just for her lover, who attacked first. What about the violent sylvari in the grove that think that charr should be killed because they think that first borns are nothing special? What about Nightmare Court and how easy it is to corrupt sylvari without a dragon even? What about the dragon in your dream? What about the fact that you can fight as well as other species that trained for years while you were just born an adult with a perfect body shape? That’s a thing. Ever seen a single sylvari born with a body unfit to fight? A fat sylvari? A mutilated sylvari? Birth defect don’t happen.
So yes, the only thing that I’m questioning is why the hell is my character charging into Maguuma Jungle when it’s obviously dangerous for her. Like do I want to join the dragon? Is that it?
Nightmare Court? How easy it is to corrupt a Sylvari? Why don’t you ask the Sons of Svanir? The Human Bandits? The Inquest? The Flame Legion?
Birth defects? Perfect body shape? This is GW2! No characters allowed that don’t conform to supermodel standards! It’s a rule.
The dragon in my dream? You mean the one that I fight and kill without any of you fauna-types helping? That dragon?
Why are you charging into the Maguuma Jungle? Well you can answer that one better than me. But I suspect it will be because you paid something on the order of $30 and don’t want to see your investment go to waste.
Those people were killed and then corrupted, sort of like how an undead would raise another in warcraft.
Whereas sylvari race are born corrupted
Being killed by one of the corrupted can create another corrupted. But the Elder Dragons do not need to kill first. Mordremoth can create minions of Sylvari (and all other plant life, as we’ve seen) without killing them first. The Branded were created by a simple fly-by. Do you think Zhaitan needed to kill first to create one of the corrupted? Certainly not!
What is this “Warcraft” of which you speak?
You don’t know that any more than we knew you weren’t already born pre-corrupted, simply awaiting Zhaitan’s activation command. We’re talking Elder Dragons here. Powerful magic. Your ability to resist Zhaitan’s influence is on par with our ability to resist Mordremoth’s.
except that we’re not born fully grown adults, capable of fighting from the get-go with hive like mind and commands being passed trough the dream.
No, you are born young and impressionable. Easy to manipulate. One has to wonder why it is your kind that wants to split us apart and make us easy pickin’s.
But I won’t hold that against you. If our fears and suspicions overcome our ability to work together, then the Elder Dragons have already won. So I will trust you, and just hope that you can trust me when it comes down to crunch time. Right now you are just suffering the shock of a great loss, and your passions are getting the better of you. I have no doubt you will see us as friends again in time. If nothing else, fewer Trahearne speeches will do wonders for everybody’s morale.
Who let the potentially traitorous salad bowl in?
Shall we take a trip to Orr and see how many of your kind have turned against the light?
I know the recent shock has put you on the defensive. In your mind-numbed state, the simplest of name-calling belittlement is comforting to your sense of personal safety. But as you come to grips with the recent developments I have no doubt you will become our most valued ally in the fight against the Elder Dragons. I forgive you your moment of unthinking passion.
the problem is, you’re not corruptible, you’re born as a dragon minion. Fully born, easy to influence and if you’re born close enough you’re immediately corrupted.
If we are to survive, we need to work together. We can’t always be looking over our shoulders wondering if our friends are going to turn on us. It may happen, and it may not. We Sylvari have lived with that all our lives thanks to Zhaitan. You can do it too. Do not give in to fear!
The Elder Dragons already have the power to make any of us into their unthinking tool. Please don’t voluntarily become their unthinking tool by shredding our alliance!
Arenanet will never just remove these things.
Removing them or returning them to what they were before the feature patch means admitting a mistake.
I wish they would learn that it is a mistake to not admit their mistakes.
Politicians and celebrities have discovered that owning up to their mistakes can actually improve their careers. It makes them more human in our eyes. More like the rest of us.
I’m still waiting for them to decide that there is no reason why they can’t turn all my Tonics back into Town Clothes exactly like before. They can keep Outfits. But why do all my old Town Clothes need to be sitting in my Bank gathering dust in Tonic form? Almost NONE of them transitioned into Outfits, so what’s the deal? Why can’t I have my old non-combat clothing back? Not only would we forgive ANet, but I’m sure they would be praised by many. And I personally would start using the Gem Store again.
There is anger and distrust amongst the allied races now as Sylvari have shown themselves to be corruptible by Mordremoth’s influence. This is understandable, since the destruction of the Pact fleet resulted from this discovery. But this wasn’t treachery on behalf of the Sylvari race. It was a brilliant strategic move by our common foe, the Elder dragon Mordremoth.
Please don’t forget that all of the fauna-based races were corruptible by Zhaitan, while we remained immune. Those poor lost souls were pitied, not vilified. And we Sylvari still fought by your side and put our trust in you. We simply ask our fellow sentient beings for a little understanding in a time that scares us flora-based races even more than it scares you.
As a show of solidarity, I personally vow to wear only human-style garb outside of the grove. Sylvari cultural clothing only points out our differences in a time when we should be fostering strength through unity. It is my hope that this small gesture might help put you, our allies, at ease.
I am Sylvari! I am not Zombari! I stand with you against the elder Dragons!
- Breanna Banana, Sylvari Ranger
Some people love 24 hours of ANYTHING different. It’s a hoot as well as a break from the routine. Other people immediately come to the forums and vent their rage at being forced to participate in something so childish. (The nerve of this company!)
ANet did a nice thing last year in giving the players the ability to relive their Bobbleheadedness anytime with a Gem Store purchase.
I would suggest this year that they also address the haters, since their voices tend to ruin the fun for the rest of us. Mail everyone a “Happy April Fool’s Day” letter when they log in. It would do two things: First it would answer all those people who log in and ask “Why is my character a Skritt?” Second, it could point out an April Fool’s Day NPC that they can visit to opt in/opt out of the festivities. Everyone wins.
THANK YOU for starting up this topic. Hopefully they’ll have time enough to implement some suggestions.
Town Clothes: These could be brought back exactly as before. Keep Outfits; some people like them. But there is zero reason Town Clothes couldn’t be restored since so very few actually got turned into Outfits. The vast majority of my old Town Clothes are still here in my Bank in useless Tonic form just waiting for a reversal spell! I’m more than ready to have my Dragon Emblem T-Shirt restored to it’s former glory.
Chairs: Every character could carry around his/her own chair in an “invisible pocket”, just like a Looney Tunes character who whips a huge mallet out of nowhere. When the player types /chair, his toon hauls out a chair and plops himself down. Sure, someone could sit on a mountain top for fun and RPer’s would be upset about “immersion”. But suck it up. RPer’s would still be in the vast majority of the players who use the emote.
Megaservers: Megaservers need to be removed from the main cities. This has been obvious and begged for by more than just the RP crowd since before it was even implemented, but they went ahead and did it anyway with exactly the expected results. Loss of player bonding with familiar faces, loss of WvW recruiting grounds, etc.
If they are going to keep Megaservers, then they should think about using Home Server as a higher metric for determining where you go. They should group up the same home servers again and again (preferably ones that never meet in WvW) so we see familiar faces once more. Stop thrusting us in amongst strangers.
Last point on Megaservers: we don’t all want overcrowding! Many of us chose lesser-population worlds for a reason! They need to institute High Population, Medium Population, and Low Population Megaservers with corresponding minimum and maximum crowd levels for us players that prefer a small town free-to-breathe feeling to the packed-in-like-sardines claustophobic world they’re forcing us into now.
If considered, then for God’s sake make it OPTIONAL, ANet! I’m happy with weapon stowing exactly as-is. Stop forcing changes on everyone because of a few voices. (I’m looking smack-dab at you, Town Clothing!)
Love the old GW1 shots. Is it just me or does anyone else think that GW1 armor looked better?
I mean, I used to like playing around with armor in GW1. Different pieces looked distinct. Much of the armor in GW2 looks too similar and is kind of monocrome bland despite the better graphics.
I am more than ready to wear this into the Maguuma… my GW1 “jungle girl” look! Update it for GW2. Put it in the Gem Store. I will buy it for a stupid price.
(Don’t you dare release this as an Outfit either! This is armor!)
Charr engi without trenchcoat
Anyone know the name of that chest piece?
(From the Argos Soft website) it would appear to be the Trapper Coat.
http://argos-soft.net/GW2/ArmorGallery/index.php?color=10&sex=0&race=1&w=2&skinID=cultmadi&lang=en
EDIT: Sorry… I thought the link would take you straight there. You’ll have to navigate to Charr/Male/Medium manually.
Does Colin Johanson count?
I actually created a Colin character nine months ago for this post https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/gw2/Spring-Break-Photos/ when the forums went silent.
Hey, I’m second in command as well. Something is fishy here.
Nothing fishy about it. I’m also the Hero of Shaemoor, the Slayer of Issormir, a Charr Tribune, the reigning Snaff Savant, a Vigil Warmaster, an Order of Whispers Lightbringer, and a Magister of the Durmand Priory.
Maybe you’ve heard of me?
Don’t forget the slayer of Scarlet
Ah, so you’ve seen my shrine in LA?
Hey, I’m second in command as well. Something is fishy here.
Nothing fishy about it. I’m also the Hero of Shaemoor, the Slayer of Issormir, a Charr Tribune, the reigning Snaff Savant, a Vigil Warmaster, an Order of Whispers Lightbringer, and a Magister of the Durmand Priory.
Maybe you’ve heard of me?
Why were they removed?
Because a small faction of players wanted to wear them in combat. Unfortunately, their “solution” left almost NONE of our old Town Clothing wearable in combat – just hats for the most part. Now we’re stuck with cookie-cutter, everyone-looks-alike “Outfits”.
There is absolutely ZERO reason that they couldn’t be re-implemented EXACTLY as before. Keep Outfits; some people inexplicably like them. But give the rest of us back what was stolen. I had a small fortune sunk into them myself and would continue to pay. I will NEVER purchase an “Outfit”, because I value my individuality and creativity.
As second in command of the Pact forces, and Sylvari being revealed as being corruptable by Mordremoth, I should have no trouble at all imposing a vote of no confidence in Trahearne and finally taking control myself.
My first action will be to declare that anyone has the right to change their Profession. (Method to be determined… Gem Store no doubt). I am not talking about Rangers turning into Druids, or Necromancers turning into whatever they are gonna be called when they get a Greatsword. That’s due to Specializations or Masteries or whatever. No, I’m talking about full Profession change. Isn’t that what Rytlock did? Isn’t Revenant supposed to be an entirely new stand-alone Profession? If he can do it, we should be allowed as well!
Next we will find some sort of compromise so that everyone can live with the Megaserver. It’s still ruining the game for role players and people who prefer lesser populations.
Town Clothes are on my agenda. Nothing they did with Outfits prevents them from coming back exactly as they worked before. There will also be a concentrated effort to fix old long-standing bugs. (Graphics, idle-time emotes, sound effects, you name it!) Lion’s Arch is (supposedly) to be repaired. I will speed up the process. Ellen Kiel is out. Not because I give a darn or not, but because there will be no more “Captain’s Council”. I’m taking over and accepting applications for governorship.
Feel free to petition me for other changes/fixes you would like. Trahearne was just your salad course. I’m gonna be your entrée. Once I’ve cleaned up this joint, I’ll be happy to hand things over to whoever wants to be the dessert, and things will be sweet again.
(Insert evil laugh here: MuaHaHaHaHaHa! It’s good to be the king!)
The NPE didn’t remove Claw Island from the Personal Story. So whenever I do that part I scratch my head and wonder A) why are the bad guys bothering? and B) why do I want to save a bunch of ruins?
I can really see where new players (for whom the NPE was introduced, right?) would be confused as hell.
Please, PLEASE, P L E A S E no “footprints” and “auras” and “swooshes” on all the new Legendaries! Can’t something look “legendary” and not look like a Las Vegas sideshow? I would like one someday too, as something post-80 to shoot for. But not if it makes me look like a circus clown.
I never cared for the Tengu in GW1 or GW2. But I laughed my butt off during the Scarlet invasion of LA when I wandered too close to their doors and a rain of arrows dropped me like a hot potato. For that one moment, I loved them. They finally had some character.
