Nice to have an update, but I’m disappointed there isn’t a word on auto-looting, which of course is a big problem in WvW. Ok, I wouldn’t rank it at number 1, or even number 2 on the priority list but it would be nice to know they’re working on it.
At the end of the day it’s just one more reason why WvW isn’t all that interesting at the moment.

So far Magic Find is just plain useless no matter how it adds up.
I can run around with a sum of over 100% MF but it doesn’t seem to change drops or loot from chests, even though the fights to get to those chests is quite a bit more difficult because you have to give up a lot of vitality and toughness to get that Magic Find number.
I’m finding that the whole game is turning into a circular tail-chase of “don’t have and can’t get”, and after a couple of months that just isn’t much fun anymore.
As for getting real info? Don’t count on it. These people don’t like to answer questions on this forum. It’s strange that they can answer questions on Reddit though.

As annoying as the invisible zergs are (good answer on that Habib, ty), it is far more annoying to be lying there dead on the ground looking at a few loot bags that you didn’t even see while in the middle of battle, and now you can’t get them.
I know I’m grasping at straws with this, but is there even a glimmer of hope that this will be fixed soon-ish?

Am I the only one who is disappointed with this? Don’t get me wrong, I like events too, but why the hell did they have to break the Monthly Achievement list for this?
There are far better ways of doing things than breaking stuff that works just fine.
I came by to make this exact point. I’m there this morning collecting vanilla beans (another touchy subject), and I saw a few guys trying it out. I’m there with level 80 exotics and I can survive that pull, but the other guys can’t.
I rezz’ed each of them a few times then went back to the almost non-existent vanilla beans. There’s no point in that boss and the drops pretty much suck too.
We have told them this umpteen dozen times. We’re being ignored.
4 maps, 3 sides, hundreds of people and matchups that change every week. What are the chances of you actually running into the same person on a regular basis?
Any prominent player will be targeted by someone or some group the moment he can be identified.

The idea has been suggested before. Dev’s didn’t react to it, not that they react to very much around here.
Well, Drakkar – Whiteside – Vabbi is now at 670/15/+10, and the totals are 135k/51.5k/35k.
Two servers have simply given up, and it’s only Monday. But hey, you just keep on being the Fan Boy.
Two-thirds of the customers are unhappy. How many businesses stay in business that way?
You can use what ever kitten scoring system you want, but until servers with an active off-peak population are matched up against each other, two-thirds of the customers will remain unhappy, or perhaps go find something else to do.

You should try being on an EU server where the new pairing is at 2 freaking in the morning. I played it again last night and within one hour one server was over +500 on the tick because they obviously have a night kap krewe from North America.

I reported 4 guys on Whiteside Ridge Cursed Shore and within minutes all 4 were gone. I know they had been previously reported but it was sure nice to suddenly see an event free of bots.
Yet again 2 in the freaking morning for EU servers, so the night kap krewes can come in and take over.
Is there a reason why NA and EU servers have to be re-matched at the same time?
So does this reflect who we’ll be matched up with next week?
I ask because I have no interest in facing the never ending zerg from Miller’s again this week. Enough of that nonsense.
In the Miller’s Sound – Whiteside Ridge – Dzagonur match up things were quite close until Tuesday even though Miller’s clearly had a night kap krewe. On Tuesday night Miller’s pushed it hard because both they and Dzagonur are German servers and Wednesday was a national holiday in Germany.
Miller’s won that fight and didn’t look back, while the other two servers have faced a never ending zerg since Wednesday. In short, it was fun until Tuesday.
You haven’t look at the reward for actually taking a keep?
You have to defend for an awfully long time to come even close to the reward for taking a place.

We regularly do this with just 3 or 4 people on the other borderlands.
Just roll the supply camps a couple of times and mix that up with the weather machines and road guards, and you’ll get all the attention your 14 year old teenage daughter could ever ask for.
Time to move to the next borderland!

What exactly is the point here? Ok, I get it for PvP and WvW but in normal game play?
I’m slowly moving toward the highest level maps and most of these waypoints are contested. The mobs are hyper-aggro and respawn fast, and you still have to wait for events to open gates so that you can move forward and light up those waypoints, and then 90% of them are contested so you can’t use them anyway?
So the Holy Trinity is dead but I still have to LFG in order to get deeper into the map, and then still can’t use the waypoint later?
This is working as intended and it’s somebodies ideas of fun?

At the absolute prime time on Whiteside Ridge I get a few minutes of Q-time. Over night, you would never have a problem and we could really use night kap krewe. We don’t suck during the day or primetime, but overnight is an issue.
Anyone who is fighting Ruins of Surmia should be good. You might have to jump to both servers though.
After all, we’ve only been asking for this since, uhm, the first Beta test?

I hate kittens like this. If they want to add an extra monthly related achievement, fine, but don’t just randomly replace an achievement that many people already finished.

Chuloos needs to come check out the Whiteside Ridge fight this week. It is extremely close.
I frigging hate taking down a thief in WvW or sPvP. That is the one class that I can’t figure out.
1. Apparently a design element. This could not be random.
2. I haven’t figured out the time limit, but I now smack the weather nodes constantly.
3. I don’t think the altar can be repaired.
4. I don’t know if the keep lord becomes invincible, but if the altar is destroyed and the Orb is not placed on a new altar it will reset to the northern supply camp area, and that’s a free for all. This is a serious complication that night capping groups will take advantage of.
Some sort of guild reward for holding a keep would be nice.

I don’t sit our keep all day, I’m active at all points around it, but I’m the first back when it’s attacked and it gets repaired immediately after any attack.
As for the guild research, yeah it’s effective but it’s not really a “reward”. We had to build the influence and spend the time too to get those ready for the rematch.
Come to Whiteside Ridge. No Q-time even in peak periods, and we’re putting up a good fight.
Some sort of guild reward for holding a keep would be nice.

Let’s face it, holding a tower or keep for an extended time isn’t easy or cheap. Some sort of reward for pulling it off would be nice, and might encourage others to get organized and try.
Wow, how wierd is that. People actually playing the game all night long on weekends, just like me! I thought I was the only one allowed to do that. You guys are all cheating!
You just need to set up your counter-siege stuff quickly. That needs team work carrying a lot of supply. Those trebs can be taken down.
Why would you use anything but badges in WvW? You can’t spend them anywhere else.
Gold is good anywhere, but you go ahead and spend it in WvW.
Prepare for another drop nerf for Badges, because obviously these guys have too many of them.

Like Slyther says, it’s best to avoid if them you’re making a surprise attack, but I like to go the other way with it. Because I can kill them solo I’ll often go by water deep into enemy territory and kill one, then waypoint back.
Just a little mayhem in the middle of the game can make the other guys think about their zerg.

I can’t figure out why the stupidly difficult jumping puzzles have a vista at their end point. I have arthritis and literally can’t do about half of the puzzles. Map completion is a distant dream for me.

It is not an exploit to live in a different timezone and WvW is a 24 hour event.
The mods read these forums but I’m not sure support and devs do, so I put in a ticket about this and would hope that more people do too. I have the same story here. I farmed tokens for a second character and can’t withdraw a large number of tokens with that character.
I can imagine that it’s a low priority issue, but at least a message would be nice.
