You can move the Blood Ruby to the middle of your inventory so when you double click to salvage you can click in the same place to accept the confirmation. Old trick.
This is what I do too…
Same. It’s still tedious, but doable.
I was there and thoroughly enjoyed the THUNDERDOME-like atmosphere and willingness of the Anet Devs to duel it out before the eyes of their servers just before the Battle Royal ensued. (How befitting that it was at the Fire Keep, too!)
Two Devs Enter…
… One Dev LEAVES!!!Bravo, Anet! You helped make it a very fun evening indeed! Thank you!
I think that’s an excellent way of describing it.
There’s a cat in Lion’s Arch that is going to get sprayed with a water bottle if it mouths off to me again while running between crafting stations and the trading post.
I miss the wvw crafting stations
Ehmery bay was named after a Anet employee, so there’s no basis in lore to use that name in-game.
Perhaps you don’t appreciate that wvw is lore to many of us.
it was pretty cool. rumor has it some necro interference from the dirty SOS side
(combat log?)
Even funnier was anet sos claim on NWT moved by anet yb claim being put on NW camp a few minutes later…. (I think that was what happened)
More champ versus champ 1v1 before the chaos please…..
I cannot confirm nor deny any such interference.
It’s amazing how quickly the standoff reverted to chaos after a stomping.
One dark and stormy night, two Anet developers met north of the Fire Keep in a blowout match and agreed to duel. The SoS developer brutally slayed the dirty YB developer and saved Tyria from the YB scourge once and for all.
There is a wvw server named Ehmry Bay, let’s make it a real location so we can Make Tyria Great Again! Anet, this is an opportunity to make it look like you were playing the long game with names all along.
I beseech you, name the new area Ehmry Bay, not Ember Bay!
I didn’t bother getting the skin because the bug made it look awful. I didn’t want to take the effort for a skin that looked bad.
If it’s fixed, I’d consider doing the stuff to get the skin.
Folks praised the return of DBL a success early on, but 2 weeks after red BL was queue-less in both kitten even during primetime on the weekends.
Are you playing the same game I am? We’ve (SoS) needed a 50-70 player zerg the last couple of nights to barely hang onto DBL. Even then we could only hang onto two of the keeps and the towers were easy pickings.
YB and SBI are relentlessly attacking us on DBL. YB also has dumped SBI’s Alpine BL on a regular basis. They’re clearly not preferring one to the other. There’s an enemy there, and they’re willing to fight them there. I don’t think that’s a bad thing.
As I type this, YB has just dumped the rampart.
If they did that you wouldn’t have an incentive to buy the infinite ones, then where would we be?
Which is why it won’t happen, it’s contrary to one of anet’s bigger selling gem items.
In fractals they can drop shards/globs/vials of condensed mist essence, which is nice.
Nowhere else do I recall killing a mob to be fruitful unless:
- I was leveling and it had a big bonus attached to it
- It was part of some event
- One of us has to die and it’s not going to be me
Did you read the responses by any chance?
Dire was at some point used for WvW. Not sure if it’s still valid or not though.
And ele condi builds were never more than a curiosity in the past. I doubt there is any sensible one now. On the other hand, there are condi builds for mesmers (pvp mostly) and revenant should still have some as well.
It is still used in wvw. Those who can afford the price of lilies usually go trailblazer’s.
This has been a complaint for a while now and has seen at least a dozen threads about it. Anet is slowly rolling out quality of life improvements (like salvage/all), so here’s hoping they give at least a checkbox to mark minor runes as junk.
The major runes at least can be forged into superior ones, I don’t mind them so much.
Every night I see that one of the dailies is to win a match on a class I’m good at I do a league game. I convince myself that tonight will be better.
3-7 over the last two weeks and every game except one has been decided by >200 points. That one game ended 500-494.
So for this sample size there’s a 10% chance for an exciting and fun match and a 90% chance I’m on a team that can’t tie their own shoes or am against a team that doesn’t know mid from kitten in the ground.
Hmm … my boring suggestion
Sell https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Magic-Warped_Packet for pristine relic and
one of those bag of masterwork gear for regular relics which is already on other vendor that takes its own unique currency
I would be quite happy with this.
As someone who primarily plays wvw, I have more karma than I could ever spend, after buying hundreds of obsidian shards.
Am I the only one who thinks focus is the best off-hand in almost any situation?
I had to do some dungeons for collections/legendary crafting recently. Compared to almost any other game mode (any HoT meta, fractals, silverwastes, bloodstone fen, wvw), the loot was comparatively terrible.
Dragonstand is also shorter than Arah, which is incredible.
I like the skirmish system. It is an elegant solution to the coverage problem where if your server has poor coverage at hours, they’re not blown out of the water.
Even during low population times, it seems to be encouraging defense. Having stronger objectives is important for the next skirmish if you’re expecting better coverage.
It also puts more emphasis on 2nd vs. 3rd in the skirmish, trying to squeeze out points to get the 2 points instead of 1 point. This didn’t really exist before, the sense of urgency.
I had some really epic fights over the Rampart and Air keep on Red Borderlands this weekend. These battles wouldn’t have happened had there not been such a close race between 1st and 2nd in those skirmishes. Nothing like trying to defend two weeks on your borderlands while also trying to defend SMC on EBG.
I hope back and forth between power necro and power reaper in fractals, but I only go reaper for specific stationary bosses (Old Tom, Urban Battleground, Molten Bosses). Any time you need range, you’re better off going necro because the axe is the best ranged power weapon necro gets. Chaos fractal with a dagger or greatsword is just a pain in the kitten .
In wvw there is never a time where I don’t go power necro:
Your chance of staying in melee range against a roamer or enemy zerg in wvw is vanishingly low. That makes dagger, greatsword, and reaper shroud all of dubious usefulness. Reaper’s shroud out DPS’s Death Shroud, but with only one leap your damage will more often than not be much lower than you need.
honestly im surprised no one has complained about pvp having the only real option to farm mystic clovers.
Wvw and spvp rewards track and bloodstone fen both can drop clovers.
Bloodstone fen is a small but non-zero step in the right direction. Many of the salvageable materials there give a random tier of leather. It’s not a lot of leather being generated, but it helps.
I just don’t see the point of creating Guild Arenas in their current form. There’s a reason for the strict separation of PvE and PvP. The idea that people wanted PvP in PvE gear is genuinely new to me.
My guild doesn’t sPvP, but does WvW. The guild arena is a great addition as it allows us to fight each other in the same gear/stats/skills as we would out in the Borderlands (with ranger’s pet HP being the main exception). It’s pretty cool, and it’s something we didn’t have before, as in WvW we’re on the same team, and both hotjoin servers and custom arenas are locked to PvP gear/stats/skills.
I am in the same boat as you. Being able to practice in wvw gear is far more important to me than spvp, which has other options.
I got silver on every adventure because I wanted the mastery points, and once you hit silver the requirement for gold pops up. I barely got silver on Shooting Gallery at the buzzer and gold requires 10 more than silver.
Some of the adventures are easy enough to get gold on one or two tries (on wings of gold, drone race), but some are ridiculously frustrating to even get bronze and bronze is next to worthless except for some collections.
I think if the mastery points were changed from silver+gold to bronze+silver we’d be in a good place. Give some other reward for gold, but don’t lock mastery points behind it.
I know healing is limited in shroud. The only things are suppose to be lifestealing effects,
When I tested this a few weeks ago, Sigil of Blood, Sigil of Leeching, and Life Stealing food all failed to provide any actual life stealing in shroud. Prepare to be disappointed.
Infusing has never been cheaper and less complicated.
I saw a few people mention reporting the guy, even if he did it on purpose is that a reportable offense?
Anet has said multiple times that griefing is against the ToS. They tried to engineer it out of the game in as many places as possible, but in complex things like the AB meta it’s nearly impossible to do.
Signet of Stability
Passive: who cares
Active: have a couple stacks of stability and a break stun since the rest of your break stuns are pretty terrible
Our number one concern can’t be people’s feelings.
They still do, seldom 5 minutes goes by without someone hitting a macro to spam the address.
I used to use Traveler’s runes, but Durability runes were too good to not use so I started using Signet of the Locust instead. Which I guess is fine since it’s an AoE life steal.
I would not be upset if either the cast time or cooldown time were reduced.
yeah but someone nightcapping for example … takes home about 12 points while your server takes 4 … what if your NA server is strongest during EU coverage… and you win that 8 hour gap… it all levels out.
Instead of having a possible +190 of whatever every 5 minutes, across the 8 hours… it gives you 50% of the total points available(3 of 6). The rest is split between seocnd and third. The outcome will be the same, but slightly closer end result of victory point differential.
I do agree though , it will be interesting to see if teams give up sooner because they know they wont win this 2 hour gap.
I’m not sure, because if holding onto higher upgraded objectives helps war score, it might be worth defending that keep or tower to set up for the next skirmish.
- Implement 1-to-1 rally policy, similar to WvW. This means that only 1 player would rally per enemy killed, rather than up to 5. Would likely be the downed ally closest to the enemy player.
- Cap the range at which someone can rally.
- Bring back PvE-downstate policy
- Shorten revive/downed “invuln” buff.
- Adjust outlier revive skills (Function Gyro)
Yes.
- Reduce healing per tick when rezzing.
- Further reduce downstate HP
No.
I wish we could turn them unto somenthing else useable for people who no longer need to level up.
Like turning them into something like this?!:
He said usable. Spirit shards are a junk currency that’s impossible to run low on unless you’re actively trying to.
Are you sure it’s not Ehmry Bay, the wvw server?
I feel like they’re missing an opportunity.
No linked server?
T3 will have YB now with a link doing some heavy PPT for the next two months because of the glicko wall that formed between T2 and T3. They’re not wrong for doing it, but should probably be swapped for FA far sooner than they will.
In zerg fights there will often be stacked resistance and the amount of boon stripping is limited to a handful of single-target necro weapon skills, one well, and axe #3. Well of suffering is a must for any zerg fight.
Condi builds also suffer from a ramp up time for damage. That said, you can make it work with some AoE condi bombs like shroud 5+4, krait runes with Chilled to the bone, sigils of hydromancy/geomancy, and unblockable marks. Plague Signet passive + plague sending can potentially nuke someone in a zerg setting if you pull enough conditions to yourself.
My mistake, I thought only the guardian got the effect.
I’d settle for The Minstrel being able to use Giver’s stats. I made the thing for my necro hoping to swap between berserker’s/giver’s/viper’s depending on build and giver’s is not an option. After I forged my old exotic giver’s focus thinking I didn’t need it anymore.
If you have a personal level of 62 and enough AR for 100, It wouldn’t be that hard to get this complete on your own. You’d only have to get to 76 to open the LFG. Maybe spam 12 lower level fractals like snowblinds on a daily day to 74 and then do the 75 and 100 on mai trin daily days. It might take you around 2 hours all together in play time, but the back piece is sort of a symbol you took the time to do fractals. In comparison the fractal back piece is significantly easier to obtain than the pvp one.
I think it’s 70 or 71 to unlock T4 LFG. When you have your choice of 2 of the same level T3 fractal, but one is a higher level, go for that one.
Molten boss day is a great day to farm to T4 if you can find some good groups. Next Molten Boss daily day is Friday Night/Saturday.
Tonight is Cliffside (69), Molten Furnace (73) and Mai Trin (75). So tonight you can get to T4 and people will be doing 100 Mai Trin.
How are you sharing burning, or did you mean epidemic bounces?
Anet is all-in on fractals, sell a mystic coin for every 100 pristine relics (at most 1 per week) or 1000 regular relics (~50-60 fractals).
I already get an ascended armor or weapon roughly every 100-150 wvw levels. Gotten ~8 I think from 800 wvw levels.
I get rares every 3-5 levels, exotics maybe every 20-30? I guess I never kept track.
Either way the drop tables are quite good when combined with the rewards tracks, which have given me a handful of ascended as well.
I don’t mean to bump because I know it will get locked, but I noticed I couldn’t put giver’s stats on my legendary focus the other night. The point of me making a legendary was I was tired of carrying around 3-4 versions of the same weapons depending on build.
I’d be happy if this just cast on an enemy instead of being ground targeted.
I agree, this change would turn a mediocre skill into a good one.
Prices of mystic coins have prevented me from making feasts recipes I’d have otherwise liked to have.
I’m currently making Astralaria, so I feel the OP’s pain. I get around this by acquiring most of my clovers from wvw rewards tracks (bloodstone fen is a fantastic track) and loyalty chest rewards, which are 7 clovers per month. 11 months is enough for a legendary doing nothing else.
So at least that plan cuts the number of mystic coins I need in half.
