I think the Master of Peace is rather suspicious. He might not have bee the one to kill people, but he could very well be pulling the strings.

After all, he is going on his journey, alone, as he said on the story mission. And no one should ask why or where he is going.

I think they were kiled by Kanach. He is an assasin and was bailed out by a noble lady. Did any one check on him lattely ? He might kill them because they were the Masters of peces personal guard. Regular zephyrites dont use armour and weapons but they do. Maybe the master of peace was power hungry for dragon energy and Kanach tried to do the right thing. And for for Aerin he might went crazy after being to close to Mothermooth. Maybe thats why he blew up the ship.

As far as i know there are only the googles and a scartf atm. Maybe the katana at some point. But as seson 1 to now the release rate is 1:10. One dropable/craftable skin vs 10 gem skins. They should make it at least 1:2

I love it so far. Great mehanics, story and characters. Only thing i miss are no gem skins. There is to much gem oriented stuff lattely. I would rather pay for the content or expansion than the gem store stuff.

I love the new s2 story and conent. The only thing that bothers me is the lack of new skins, via drops. I love the armour from the gem store, but pleas add some new droppable skins/gear it would add so much game time to collect it and get it all.

I just watched the wooden potatoes vlog and he came up whit a great point.
We dont have cames in gw2 jet because of clipping. Hovever no game exist in the mmorpg gener that has no clipping at all. The question is how much clipping is acceptable ?

Would you guys rather have perfect low clipping capes some time down the line or a cape whit modrerate clipping werry soon.

Personaly i would like to get one cape model at least right now. Maybe a guild cape, no matter the clipping and we can see the thing evolve maybe ? Getting less clippy every few mounts. Capes were such a huge gw1 part that i and a lot of my friends really miss them and would not mind some clipping.

What your opinion ?

I wonder how hard will the s2 be ?
I hope that there will be a bit harder that s1 and personal story.
It would add way more coperation in players and guilds. I think
that there should be some elite/hard content for a small groups of

On a site nothe ther are a few questions on the forum that are not officially awsered that are no spoiler nature. Like if the new content will be 80 only. What will happen to world completion if there will be new maps. Where will the update go online and other non spoiler stuff. Plus there are some people that are asking about things that we are shure wont happen int this pathc like new races.

All those questions are already answered.

1. Log in during the time of season 2, unlock entry in journal, play when you hit 80. (Yes, log in as in your character must be inside the game).
2. Same as what happened to world completion when they added new waypoints back when, if you have completed world already, you aren’t affected, if you havent , your goal got longer.
3. No one in an mmo gives an exact date or time when a patch will go live. There can always be delays. But I can tell you what’s going to happen when it does go live. Everyfew hours the servers will go down for a small patch to fix something, because the internal testers don’t put as much strain on the servers as public.

4. As for the other questions, bobby answered that. They are busy trying to make the patch right, so not much time to spend on forum posts. Probably next week, if lucky, we’ll have more active devs.

I think that the mursat are gone all but one. And the mantle were officialy iniciated into the seraph together whit the shinig blades. Thou the ideology may still be alive somehow.

That would be the red sailed ship. You can see a glow that emits from inside.

There are a lot of interesting theories being posted. I don’t want to get in the way of that. Also, the LW team is crazy busy right now so we’ve gone mostly silent on the forums (not officially—it’s more of a lack of free time than anything else). I’ll be really curious to see what people think of episode 1 the day it releases, where they think the season is headed, and how they like the story journal and our scripts, VO, gameplay, etc.

We’re pretty sensitive to giving away story spoilers, which is why I don’t often comment on Living World release speculation.

This was not meant in any way that you guys should release spoilers. And it was not meant as a bad thing. You guys are making great things and have a great community. But in start season 1 many of the arena net dews discussed more guesses on the forum whiteout spoiling and even jumped on the wrong train whit us just for the sake of the what if debate. I guess i miss that since late season 1. BTW i think season 1 was good and 2 will be great. I am thankful for all the stuff arena net does and for you taking time to write back

I really hope they will add something. I don’t mind the gem armours but make them at least 50 gem gear -50 game gear and not single items but sets

Well one of the major complaints from S1 (well ok there were so many complaints it’s hard to actually measure the actual value or merits of the complaints) was that ANet didn’t add expansion type content (under which new areas usually get grouped).

Yes but for season 1 it was stated after the soutsun that there will be no new areas. Because they wanted to use old ones make them more populated and now we have megaservers. I think there will be at least 4 new maps.

I like the idea of the ship being destroyed. Now i have a cause to hate the shooter or bomber. Its had to lose/destory important characters and structures but it makes for a good story.

Nice way of noticing the bamboo shoots. They might be old camp leftovers or a crashed kite-ship. Hope not the last. I think there will be more zephirites in the story. I really don’t think that the zephirtes were heeding to maguma. They packed way more supplies this time than the last time and they were heading to canta. And maguma is not so far. But you also take a lot of supplies if you make camp where you don’t have supplies. Far north or ring of fire. The explosion may be in my opinion a aetherblade attack, whit scarlet gone i think they converted to robbery and inquest hired energy highjacking. There seems to be a lot of thorn/nightmare corruption and a giant devour, for all who did not play gw1 a giant species of devour native to charr homeland but possibly a full grown devour which has enough food and lives long enough to grow full size.

I hope there will be a new zone on day 1, this would mean that we will get a lot of new context maybe event expansion type content. I like the idea of being 80 lvl area and it will be a nice context to only ore lvl 80 and frost gorge.

I wrote this a few days ago into the live world but got no aver. Maybe someone here can help me.

I just read the new improved world timers and was really happy whit the upgrade.
But i was a bit confused by the standard rotations. can someone please clarifie how are the timers now.
Standard Rotation—The six world events in this rotation will continue to activate on the hour and 30 minutes past the hour. This rotation is now independent of all other rotations. The TBD event slot has been removed.
Lets pressume the old timers stay the same. Does it mean that TBD were removed for the hardcore rotation or standard ? If for standard rotation what events ? And the independent part is misleding i think it was meant that it can overlap whit harcore rotations, but it sounds like the times are all new now.

I myselfe am a big fan of temporary content it motivates people to play and its a experience that mimics real life. You missed a show ? No matter what u do u cant make everyone happy. The perfect think would be to make s2 a bit of an instance for the story purpose and a lot of open world conetent. No final/ big boss should be an instance. Remember zhaitan ? It was so anty climactis. Bum he fell the end. It was just so fast and not really heroic. Regular vilians and persons can be fought in 5man dungeons but there is no way a marionet or dragon can be defeded solo or in 5man.
The open world makes things so much epic, shure its harder for developers but i have faith in arena net.

I dont think so. Probaby it will be free of charge or at last you will nead 50% + of seasson 2 unloacked or something like that. It would be unfair for all the players who played s1 to charge them. Thou i dont think we will se S1 soon because it was build as temporary contnt and not for permament use. It would make no sence to use a big part of the developement team to make it permament atm insed of focusing all the available resources on s2.

I didnt see the new LA jet. But the news disapoint me for the first time in GW2 history. I hoped the rebuild would be slow and a bit painful ? The instant rebuild makes it fell like someon just summoned it. Its the opposite of what the living story is all about.

I have no problem buying a expansion an sesson pass or some other type of product to help develop gw2 but buying stuff on bi- weekly basis looks like a gigant bother and a lot of players wount buy it. the thing is not in not in paying for the contet is that u nead to pay it every 2 weeks and a lot of players dont have credit cars.

I think that arena net makes enough money whit gem store users and they dont need to charge for seasons. Its a fair thing for players who can not affod the episodes. Besides i would be really happy whit an expasion.

Defenetly support the idea. And since arena net confirmed now that personal story → S1 → S2 are cronologicly this way i hope we will see a bit more of the pact. Thou i am not shure if the pact operates now as a unit or are only colaborating as the 3 organizations.

The trailer is actualy prtty god in my oppinion. Many people complained that the trailers should not spoil the event and i totally agree whit that. Its way better to explore the content yourself. Since they cant “spoil” stuff the only way is to look back and i think they did a good job, the only thing that trew me off was that it was 2x mentioned that LA burned down. Kinda messed up the timeline. And for the S1, it was a god experience, we watched the evolution of live story, the first of its kind may i add. Shure ther was try and error and some mistakes were made, but in overall it was really enjoiable and i cant wait till season 2.

If those don’t work for ya, try looking up youtube videos, i know it helped me, I ended up using soldier gear + staff for liadri for example, only because I saw a YT video of a guy doing it which made me consider it as an option which i didn’t before.

They could simply put the species as an new tamable eniermnte pet. Plus it would be great lore in case the charr get their devours from maguma at least some generations ago.

Additional stats are no go in my book, but i would love to see some rare pets. Maybe not legendary at the begining but a bit more rare. Crafting seems a bit of a long run but a scavanger hunt would be amazing and a great idea. I like where your idea is going.

What kind of builds are you guys using in the Gauntlet Arena ?
What weapons traits are u using ?

Currently i run Great Sword and Sword/Shield but want to change
to tourch. Fore some extra damage i use spirit sword, the other skills
are spirit bow and hammer the elite is the tome of wrath.

In another topic we started to discus dragons and their worshipers all the races have one dragon and each dragon has or should had one racial follower or group.

Primordious -> Charr ( burning legion )
Jormag -> Norn ( Soons of svanir )
Mothermooth -> Sivary ( nightmare court )
Zhaitan -> The undead( corruption ) -> The litch -> humans(orrians)
Bubbles -> (Tengu/Largos ?)
Kralkatorik -> Branded -> (Assura ?)

The first two are proven to be true. Still the burning legion has lately no direct ties to the destroyers like in the past, still it appears that hey are using their magic, teachings. The nightmare four is probably corrupted by mothermooth we don’t have a proof of that yet. Scarlet woke him up but maybe to someone else’s biding ? I don’t know if we can count the undead as followers because they did not choose to follow the dragon by choice, same goes for krallkatorik. Hovever the litch casted the spell willingly and knowingly what pover he is using. I speculate that the inquest will follow kralkatoik because he seems to be the most intelligent and sentinel dragon out there. He possesses great magical powers and knowledge, so did his general glint before turning away. Since we know nothing of bubbles we can speculate that his followers would be an underwater species like largos or at least a seafarer species as the tengua at least they used to be, plus the tengu were meant to be a playable race but where substituted by the silvary .

Not really, just a guess about how they could come into the picture without derailing it away from him. Though, considering the last time the dragons woke the Mursaat up and ditched Tyria, it’s possible they ditched the White Mantle (assuming more then one Mursaat even still lives) and left the White Mantle looking for anything that could give them control of Kryta again.

Again, just wild speculation on my part. It’s completely possible they’ll just be a separate enemy faction that opposes both the players and the dragon.

Hope there will be a human dragon faction. Since the humans are the only one that has none. Still mother mouth has the sivary. Maybe some other dragon ?
