Rather strange bug with one of my characters. My Mesmer is unable to enter WvWvW. I can get in no problem with any of my other 5 characters but for some reason my Mesmer gets stuck at the loading screen until it times out.
I can jump in with my thief and play no problem then log out and try my Mesmer and cant get past the load screen. All i get is the error (code=7:11:3:191:101).
I sent a couple of in-game bug reports but have heard nothing for a couple of weeks. Any one heard of this sort of situation before?
Sounds like a bug that would probably be more readily addressed in the Game Bug sub-forum.

As the title states, for the life of me I cannot change my password. I have tried random words, numbers, symbols, a mixture. Nothing. I cannot login to the support and no matter what I do, I cannot ask for my password or username as when I input my email I never receive the username/password reset email from the support page. Does it replace words with kitten automatically or does everyone just use kitten instead?

A few people use kitten, but mostly it’s the filter.
On another note, once you finish downloading, if you cannot log in, do not fear. Guild Wars 2 is experiencing some technical difficulties at this time, most likely due to the most recent patch. I am sure it will be up and running in no time, as usual. =)

Hey there. Been playing this game since early january, and it’s the first time I encounter such a problem. I can log in with any of my characters, except my ele. I left him in Mt.Maelstrom and when I try to log in with him, the game gets stuck to the loading screen. After a while, a client-crash message appears.
I hope this was not included in the nerfhammer-of-doom therapy eles are currently undergoing. Some help?
Some players have found if they used that character to guest to another server, the problem was alleviated.
If you continue to have issues, you can submit a Technical Support ticket, and you will be assisted. You might also peruse the Tech Support and/or Game Bug sub-forums.

I’ve done 100% of the required monthly achievements, as shown in the screenshot below. I have infact done five out of the four required, yet I have not received any reward or even a notification whatsoever.
I have submitted an ingame ticket, although as it says they do not respond to individual reports I figured I’d have to make a thread here. Hopefully I can get this resolved as completing the monthly achievements is rather time consuming, and missing out on 10 laurels is quite a loss.

There is no real need to close your account. You can play on your account, or not….as the mood strikes you. You may have a change of heart some time in the future, and, if so, you would not want to have to purchase an account, again. You can just let your account sit idle, in the meantime. =)

I’ve been waiting for 5 days now, just for a response. I didn’t even get a confirmation email or anything.I don’t know what my account password is. I haven’t played in almost a year. It’s saved in my Chrome browser so that I can still log in to the forums and what not, but it was not saved in the client, so I cannot play. I don’t have my serial because I deleted the email it came in (digital download.) Information I have is my character, billing information, and dates of access.
Probably the most annoying process I’ve ever had to go through to play I game I paid for. If any players are reading this, I highly recommend buying physical copies of your games, this digital download business is just trouble.

If your password is saved in your browser, you can probably access it through your browser’s tools. I know you can with Chrome and Firefox. Then you can enter the game. =) Good luck.

Gee, I’ve done dungeons, and I don’t have anyone ‘maxed’. I don’t own any Ascended gear, either. So, I’m thinking I’m not ‘gear-locked’ out of anything, really.

An hour ago I received a force name change because of my warriors character name “Rapid Penetration” How is this offensive? I based this off the rifle attacks the warrior uses. I’m just trying to make sense of this

Many of those that play Engineer feel their profession is neglected. If one of the players at the SOTG represents one who mains that profession (or plays it consistently), I guess having a representative there doesn’t always work in said profession’s favor.
Also, this format was created and put into practice by a group of players from the Guru forum. If we want a SOTG for PvE, we should do the necessary work to make it happen, no?
Oh, I remember you now! You are the one that got banned for 7 days for unacceptable language. For ‘crude sexual references of a very offensive nature’. I can only guess what you have in mind for a ‘female gamer age 18-20’.

It was announced that bonus chests would be awarded according to your achieved rank at the time of the announcement/update. I was Rank 25 at the time and yet my announcement heading in the wvw window says that my account only has 2 bonus chests left. (I amRank 37 now)
Is this an error? If so how do we get it fixed?

This sounds like something that might be more readily addressed in either the Game Bugs or WvW sub-forums. Perhaps, you could find threads there dealing with this issue. If perusing those forums offers no solutions to your problem, you can always contact Customer Support, and gain assistance.

This is not an issue but rather a question, and since i couldnt find any releveant place to post this i decided to post it here. Forgive me if this is not where it is suppose to be, but i wanted to know is it possible to change your account name. I ask this because my account name is not relevant to my character that i own in game, hacked issues, and therefore would like to change it to a character that i do own.
An example would be in guild roster there is a name in grey next to the currently online player. I would like to change that grey name to a character that i do own.
Unfortunately, account name-changes are not available except in cases of security issues. There may come a time such an option will be offered (in the Gem Store), but not anytime in the foreseeable future.
You can guest around to different servers to find one that might be a better fit. Remember, if you delete all your characters to transfer at no cost, to put everything non-soulbound in your bank, as it will transfer with you. Also, keep in mind that transfers have a 7-day cooldown. Best of luck! =)

My mail hint has been stuck at no achievement since release. I didn’t even know there was a laurel hint, so I must not have it, either, lol. I think the dev response (for hints, in general) was they would get to it whenever higher priority issues have been resolved.
As for not getting loot from a chest, are you sure it isn’t automatically going into inventory? Regardless, that would be an issue for the Game Bug sub-form, rather than an Account Issue.

I very much enjoy the Living Story content and the mechanic for its disbursement. Having something new to explore each month, or week, or day even! makes logging in an adventure, and something to look forward to. I hope the developers hear those that appreciate their hard work and agree with their vision of a Living Online World.
This is not to discount other’s opinions, or their dissatisfaction with some elements of the game. I am just grateful for all the content that, for me, is essentially free. =)
Every time I try to link my Guild Wars account I get the message “A server error has been encountered. Please wait a moment and try again.” Is there any fix to this?
Are you referring to linking your Guild Wars 1 and Guild Wars 2 accounts? If so, this would be something Technical Support can help you with.
If you are referring to linking your Guild Wars 2 account to your Master NCSoft account, that is not possible at this time.

Some people have found that visiting, or re-visiting the Chantry of Secrets gave them the missing area needed for World Completion.

Not sure what the patch notes are supposed to tell us, save that the last two suspects are available today, June 20th. Inspector Kiel now tells us their location…she didn’t before, did she? I don’t remember for sure.
1: did you clean out your mailbox?? if you have 10 messages in your box you need to delete some old ones to recieve this mail.

Guild Transferred all Upgrades missing

Title says it all. Every upgrade we had worked for and bought with in game gold, gone. We transferred from Crystal Desert to Dragonbrand and had the chance to look. No guild bank nothing. I don’t mind stuff being gone from that, it doesn’t matter but all those unlocks is driving me mad. There was not one warning in the transfer process that this would happen. Any and all help would be appreciated. Tx.

However, influence and guild upgrades are specific to each world: players in the same guild but on different worlds will contribute to separate influence pools and build through separate upgrade trees. It is not possible. If you find yourself in a situation where you need your serial code to access your account, opening a ticket with Customer Support will allow them to assist you. =)

On another note, though….if someone was truly industrious, I suppose they could count all the names listed for each server and get a rough idea of the active population numbers………………..

I guess you could count how many people are listed on a page, and then multiply it by pages listed for your server. Of course, this doesn’t take into account those that haven’t played in some time.
And do the same for your region – EU.
If you read through the threads, you will see that Customer Support usually does remedy such ‘mistakes’, where something is unusable. Have you updated your ticket from the initial response so that the automated reply is bypassed? You might do a bit of research before ranting, next time.

Some one never reads or listens to anything NPCs have to say in-game, I fear.
It does allow you to play ‘faster’, although that may not be what they were considering at the time.
Still, we all clicked our mouses (mice?) thousands of times for our titles.
Don’t you just love your G15 keyboard? I’ve had mine since the beginning of GW. I really want a G18 (I think that’s what it’s called – the full color one!).
Then, just a case of releasing the link a bit too early. I am sure the page will be there when the content is released. =)
My two mains are Ranger and Necromancer. I rarely play my other alts, though they are slowly (or have already) attaining level 80. I couldn’t care less about ‘Flavor of the Month’, as my purpose in playing this game is to have fun, and these two characters afford me just that. Fun. =)

To be fair, Colin just commented yesterday that they are working on changing up the way the rewards system works. I think they have heard what you have said and are going to do something different. This release was already different in its distribution of rewards, so I think they are listening. =)
