Only the account owner can have a dialog with Customer Support about his issue. Sending multiple tickets about the same issue would only slow down the process, and they will be closed as duplicates. Threatening legal action isn’t a good idea, and is against forum rules.
I think practice…time spent playing said character.
There is also the profession sub-forums for many tips. You could probably go in there and ask about a certain part you are having trouble with, and get lots of advice. =)
If you really think ‘lag’ affects chest drops, then don’t open them ‘really, really fast’.

I just do what I like to do, which lately doesn’t take me far from the starter zones. For me, that keeps a moderate income coming in. I really enjoy the Living Story content, and wherever that takes me. This game suits me. I am not the kind of person to seek out the best of whatever, unless it happens to drop. I’ve not bought any armor of the TP; to me, that’s just buying someone else’s gaming. I guess GW1 is to blame, lol. If I didn’t get something from playing the game there, I didn’t get it. Because trading with others was just too scary.
I don’t post as much as I would like to here on the forums. It feels like there are forum bullies here; where if you don’t ‘hate’ the game, you will be shot down in flames. I don’t know why you have to be a hater to be one of the ‘cool kids in town’. It is sad, really. Maybe it says something about the median age of posters, I am not sure.
Anyway….yes, Vayne, I play like you, and appreciate you being the non-haters (like me) ‘voice’ of the forum. ; )

The dev stated something about your computer clock being ahead or behind, I think, maybe check to see if it’s the same.
You can also click on the time and change it to show actual times, instead of how much time has lapsed. I like that way much better. =)
Something sounds not right here. Missing money and stripped characters usually indicate a compromised account. Refunds permanently close accounts.
You should speak to Customer Support about activating a new account.

Have you updated your original ticket? Checked your spam and junk mail folders? Logged into your support account and looked for responses?
Because I was having trouble logging in to my account after uninstalling guildwars a few months back, I decided to change the password and download again. (I quit playing for different reasons…) Anyways, after changing my password, I opened guildwars up and it says, “the account or password you entered is invalid.” Obviously after during some confirmation through email I am able to use my account on this website however when I open guildwars itself, my new password doesn’t work and it just references me back to here. Can somebody help me?

Whenever i launch Guild Wars 2, and it asks for my account name and password. I try to log in, but it says “The account name or password you entered is invalid. Please check your information and try again.”
i have reset my password at least 5 times. I can even log in online, but just not when i try to log in to play the game.
Are you using your email address associated with your game account to log in? A common error is using your display name to try to log in.

I am not sure what you mean by ‘deposit’. If you mean your guild bank, that does not transfer with you, as it is not account bound. Your account bank transfers with you, so be sure to place all non-soulbound items in your account bank before you delete your characters and transfer. Good luck. =)
Hello I got problem, I want to guest america(tarnished coast) but I’m on europe server (gandara). My friends from pvp guild are in europe, but my friends which I want to play dungeons etc. are in america. I wish I was able to play with my friends but changing server cost 1800 diamonds. Is there any option to guest america server or at least move 1 character from account to different server ?
Unfortunately, you can only guest to servers in the same region as your home account. A perusal through the dev posts sub-forum will explain why. Happy adventuring in Tyria, regardless. =)

This morning after the update I tried to log in as usual and I got the “Invalid Account Name” window, with “Recover Account” under it…I thought it was a bug or something, so I tried to log in again a few times..but it did not work…so I went to recover the account, typing all the necessary information and once I did that it just said “Error”…I tried to log into my account again, and it worked. Just in case, I reset my password…
I would like to know if this is issue with my account? Was someone trying to suspend/hack me? Or is it server bug, technical bug?
I checked the log-in history on my account, no one else tried to log into my account and neither did I get the authorization e-mail about it.
I can’t relax until I am certain about this…thank you in advance!
I’ve never heard of this before; sounds like a bug. If you want to check the security of your account, you would need to speak to Customer Support. We can’t do that from the forums. To be safe, you can runs scans, and change the passwords to your game account and associated email address. Good luck. =)
Hi, I am fairly new to the game. I have two characters. One is Norn and an ausura. They are both still in the town they started in. I usually have around 60 fps when playing as norn but around 24~28 when playing as asura. Is that normal? I am running everything at max at 1080 resolution with vertical sync. My monitor is only 60hz.
My pc is phenom II x4 955 clocked to 3.5 ghz.
Radeon 7870 Tahiti from powercolor overclocked to 1100 ghz and everything else at default.

16gb of hyper x ram
basic gigabyte motherboardI ran games like far cry3, crysis 3, bioshock infinite and tomb raider at max and the cpu temp is around 55 celcius and gpu is below 75.

How about the butler golem? snakes in the grass? those silly dye seeds, and the NPC that would grow them for you in your home instance? the original box o’ fun? hunger games? how scary Gendarren Fields was when it was first available..lol? the previous size of mini-pets (they were much bigger, at first….screenshots of a mini-moa as tall as my asura)?

There has never been any kind of timeline mentioned about expansions. The only thing they did definitively say was that they would not be releasing expansions/campaigns at the same rate as they did with GW1. Never a mention of an expansion in the first year, or even the first 2 years.
If you have seen them state this, please post a link to the article/interview because I would be very interested. =)

When I try and buy gems from the gem store I enter all my details click the pay-pal and fill in that form but then it re-directs me to gw2’s selling page with error, can not purchase gems please try again or contact support. I click the support option but there is nothing there for not been able to buy gems…. Can any one help me?

There is an interview with Colin or Mike or Eric pre-launch that talks about expansions, and all (then) future content. I had it bookmarked, but that was on my computer that died. …sigh
Anyway, according to what they said back then, they had content mapped out and planned for years ahead (including expansions).

Seems it would be more Chinese-esque from Hong Kong, than Japanese-esque.
Either way it doesn’t seem fitting for Kaineng, just too modern-looking, even considering Asuran technology, which may or may not even be found in Cantha.
Those never-ending quick-spawn Veteran Ghosts in the lower left-hand of Plains of Ashford are great for Vet-slaying. (Great for the end of monthlies when you need a few to finish, as well.) =P
Loading screen times will vary.
Unless you want to level up lower level characters. dailies give good XP; each individual achievement, and another chunk for finishing the daily.
The Champion Wolfmaster in Wayfarer is probably the easiest group event in the game. Pretty quick to solo, and spawns quite often.

I just tried it in Chrome, which I don’t use, so it’s running at default settings, and it is now working fine. You must have fixed it! Yay! =)
And, as I posted before, once I white-listed it in Firefox’s adblocker, it worked. So, double-yay!

I have not played GW2 for about a month but i still know what has been going on. i have been playing a lot of FPS games but i really want to get back into the game i just can’t find much fun my guildies are awesome people but always offline and the repetitive events are a bit of a drag honestly. I love the art style story and everything about the game i really want to get back into it. Any ideas?

So…I don’t think using other games models works so well here. Ever think that maybe the box sales paid for all those years of development? Are you thinking box-sales-only pays for each month’s new content? You think your 50, 60, 150, 220 dollars pays for 2 years of content? 3 years of content? What if an expansion doesn’t come out for 4 years? Who pays to keep you entertained then? Was the profit they made off of your CE enough to pay for several years content?

I believe he/she is referring to the random team mechanic used in the PvP mini-games.
For pete’s sake. I bought the DE Edition. According to some of the logic in this thread, supposedly I went above and beyond to support ArenaNet. Even though, I was under the impression I bought extra goodies…for me.
I also bought gems, many times….many times.
I have not received any minis, nor have I cried over that. Since they have stated they are sending out minis in waves…

Hello i really dont understand this, i’ve played guildwars2 like 3 months ago or so, on highest graphics, then i stopped for some time, now i would like to play again. But suddenly i only have 60 fps on lowest graphics, 30 on medium and 20 on highest. Really makes no sense at all. My battery power is running on full performance, ive tried to change the solution and stuff, but still low fps.

You don’t hear about all the people that do not have Guild Wars accounts, and still get the email; mostly because they don’t have accounts and can not log in to the forums to post about it.
If ArenaNet’s security was breached, we would get millions of posts about scam emails and hacked accounts.
Lol, I failed the Queen Mosquito event in Caledon Forest several times soloing it on my newly created thief. It’s timed, and I just couldn’t kill her quickly enough alone.
It seems to me that with the Wintersday boxes, if someone opened the box and killed the foes inside, if you were within the mini-map radius, the box still was available for you.
Or maybe the loot from the vanquished foes was available. I don’t exactly remember which, but I know I didn’t have to race to the spawn and try to get a hit in to get loot.
Does anyone else remember how it worked? …or am I just old and (more) senile now?
