Not all minis disappear in water. They do seem to have pathing problems, as well as speed problems, sometimes.
But, I never worry about them when I’m moving, as I only really show them off when I’m talking with others. =)
Although their actions don’t bother me, I hope something is done for all those for which this is an issue.

The holographic wings drop off mobs, as well. Mine dropped off a level 2 Svanir, not even in a coffer. Lol. It’s all just luck, I suppose. =)
The two co-founders of ArenaNet, Patrick Wyatt and Jeff Strain, that left moved to NCSoft West in 2008 (which they subsequently left, as well). Mike O’Brien is still with us. =) That was long before Guild Wars 2 was released, and has had little impact on the game now, I believe. NCSoft has owned ArenaNet since 2002, and Guild Wars did quite well, considering.
I enjoy the Living Story model. Always something new to explore and experience. It’s a matter of opinion about whether it’s a bad content-delivery model, or not. One thing the devs have expressed repeatedly is that they are trying something new in the Online-World model, and are learning, growing and changing facets of the content as each new set of content is released.
As the servers seem to fill up periodically, and their population cap is increased, it may indicate that the user-population is steady, if not rising. No one can really say until hard numbers are released…if ever. Even on my bottom-of-the-barrel server, I see people around no matter where I go, though there are fewer about the later at night I play. There are even too many people around at the start of new content releases…lol.
As for the Gem Store, I am sure you have seen what’s offered there, whenever you log on. New items have always been either cosmetic or convenience. There haven’t been any new boosters since launch, as far as I can recall.
As for previous skins….they just added a merchant that has all the previous sets of skins. I can’t help but think there must be some way of obtaining them, again, in the future, else why put the merchant there? Still, only time will tell.
I don’t think you have anything to worry about, but I am sure others may have a different opinion of the game than mine. =)

…until you try to do a password reset.
you need to provide a game key provided at purchase, the date of purchase, the card you used to make the purchase…
so if you no longer have that one email from a year ago that they sent as a receipt, you are basically f’d.
This is untrue. If you no longer have your serial number, Customer Support will assist you in changing your password, or any of a myriad of other issues. There are many threads in Account Issues about that very topic, with positive results. =)

Okay, I bought my account uhh more than a year ago, I guess. I was able to raise a lvl 80 Guardian, but my video card broke and I travel around so I stopped playing. Now, I bought myself a laptop and decided to play GW2 again. Finally, after the long patch, I tried logging in but I got this “Guild Wars 2 has encountered an error.” pop up. It says “Your Guild Wars 2 account has been suspended for an account issue. Please contact Support for information.” Seriously, I have no idea what’s going on, I don’t recall doing anything against the rules. I just want to play again. Help please? #130612-000845

If you bought wings off the Trading Post, can you not just place them back on the Trading Post for sale, at a higher price? In my experience, these kinds of things usually increase in value after a time. Hope that helps. =)

The Rich Dragon Coffer is now available in the Consumable category of the Gem Store for 100 gems each, or 5 for 400 gems and 25 for 2,000 gems. This special festival box always contains Dragon Bash candy and also has a chance to contain fireworks, a Mini Holographic Risen Knight, and rarely a Dragon’s Jade Weapon Skin Ticket. Rich Dragon Coffers contain all the same items as the Dragon Coffers* *that drop commonly from Dragon Bash enemies, but have better chances at rare items.

Why go to all the trouble of re-coding the entire gem store? If they wanted to assure someone would get a ticket, they can just sell the tickets for weapon skins. And who would care how one obtained the gems?
I doubt the Rich Coffers have 100% chance to drop a weapon skin; again, why not just put the ticket up for sale?

I agree with the minions, it’s a bummer. Going into water destroys some of mine, as well.
As for the minis, they never fixed it in GW1, but maybe some day they will fix it in GW2.

I think there is a portal to the polymock arenas in Rata Sum, though it isn’t currently viable.
Well, think of it this way: Your poor miniature is deathly afraid of travel through portals, and will only be mollified by traveling in your inventory bag! Same with defeat…he/she/it scurries into your bag to avoid the same fate! Lol. Immersion.
I am not saying this suggestion isn’t a good idea. Surely, many people have requested something like this.
But, I have to wonder at our society….that finds clicking an icon or two with the mouse or keyboard ‘too much work’. =P
I think the Dragon Bash event Back Piece is awesome!! but why blue ?? I think that doesn’t really reflect a dragon…wouldn’t red or black or some color like that be nicer ?? I personalty would rather red!!! Blue just feels so soft…….
I think it’s ‘blue’ as that is the color of all the holographic items (a kind of bluish-white or whitish-blue?), and it is tied into the Holographic Dragon Emitters.

I forgot my password and accidentally unchecked the save option on the launcher so I lost it. Went to go reset it and this is the error I get after putting in my cd key information and such:

Once you register your account, you can play from anywhere, regardless of the region.
My SO plays on an NA server from South Africa (approximately 10,000 miles away) without problems. =)

Does anyone know how long they take if they do a rollback, I’m bummed out that everything vanished in a weekend. When I heard that they can put things back to a set date my spirits lifted. I wrote the support people on the e-mail they sent me but that was a while ago. I did scan for bugs and viruses changed my password and tried the authenticator but not sure how that works?

I am pretty sure I read here on the forum that someone had 43 character slots. (shrugs)
I happened to notice the dev in the Dragon Bash livestream had 100,200 gems! Lol.
Guess he can buy whatever he wants.
I would probably buy a lot of character slots, I had 34 in Guild Wars 1. And lots of bank slots, and inventory slots. Save up for things yet to come, as well. (Like an expansion in a year or two?) =)
Um..I haven’t leveled up any of my characters using crafting alone. I have just started my sixth character. Seven hours, and she is level 12 and half. (My sixth character has only crafted 25 items for a daily.) This is not to say I’ve never crafted, as I have maxed out three disciplines, but using only what materials I have collected on my way exploring the open world. =)
Thus, I am afraid that claiming ‘no one’ levels their subsequent characters except through crafting is not quite true. (Besides, leveling out in the world is a heck of a lot more fun!) =P

The livestream showed us everything we can do, I think, during the Dragon Bash Festival.
One thing some people have asked about was how long the fireworks finale is where we receive the dragon helmet. It sounded like it lasts around 5 minutes. Fireworks displays occur every two hours during the first weekend of the Dragon Bash Festival.
It costs 100,000 Zhaitaffy for Dragon Wings? Unless that was the Mini…I forget.
The special mini Moa with helmet will only be available from Moa Racing during the Festival. They didn’t really say what you can buy with tickets won from racing after the Festival.
Dragon Coffers are supposed to drop quite frequently from the Holographic Emitters in open world, it seems.
Pinatas are in every city, they drop Zhaitaffy.
Um…that’s all I remember. Hope that helps. =)
