The only way, currently, to transfer servers free is to delete all your characters. If another free transfer period should come about, it would most likely only be to low or medium populations worlds.

Although, exchanging gold for gems is, in essence, a way to transfer free. =)

Ya know, I love fireworks, as well. But, about 10 years ago I moved to within 5 minutes of Disneyland. I can’t tell you the last time I looked out the window at 9.30pm. Even the greatest things get old with over-exposure. =(

I don’t think the Trading Post is P2W. If there was going to be anything P2W in-game, I would assume it would be in the Gem store. Not sure what you would win, of course, but that’s another matter.

If you peruse the BLTC sub-forum, this question was asked, and a Dev (John Smith) commented on its viability.

If these weapon sets are only temporary, I must wonder why they have permanent merchants for them.

I believe that stair icon indicates where levels change in DR. You find one (or two) at the end of ever High/Low road around the perimeter. They just show where the map changes level.

Sometimes, it takes awhile for the backlogged mail to be delivered. If your purchase fails to be delivered after a reasonable time, you can contact Customer Support.

I chose my server because my SO chose it. And I stay for the same reason, and the fact that it costs too much to change. =P

When I use the search function, it doesn’t automatically capitalize any of the words. Regardless, the function doesn’t work. I hope it gets some attention soon.

You might try posting in Players Helping Players or the Guild sub-forums, as this is not a Forum or Website Bug.

This is my 3rd gem purchase and also my first encountering a problem.

I just bought the logging axe and it’s been about 10-15 minutes and I have yet to receive it via mail.

If I remember correctly I think the Molten Pick Axe was instant.

The number one cause of missing items from the gem store is a full mailbox. Try deleting most, if not all your mail, and see if that solves the problem. Good luck. =)

Aren’t wings a back item? Nothing to do with chest items, really, so it shouldn’t be a problem. =)

Personally, I would not join a 100% rep-guild. I have my own guild for bank storage. =)

There is no sword by that name. Could you give more information about what you are looking for?

With the release of the APIs, I think it is now in the hands of the community. They said as much some time ago.

Don’t forget that now that the Living Story teams are in place, and each team is responsible for 2 consecutive updates, each team has 4 months to work on their month’s content. I think we will see meatier patches henceforth, and no reason we can’t see things like whole new zones, or professions eventually, or anything we might see in an expansion tied into these bi-weekly patches. It’s very exciting. =)

If you are that careless with something that important then I guess I would say sorry for your luck. It isn’t like it auto sold as soon as you opened the vendor window. But that’s the ting, this IS a BUG. Normally legendaries CAN NOT BE SOLD to a vendor.

Unless you transmute it. Here are the known facts about transmutation:

Transmutation creates a new item, replacing both existing items.

The new item combines one skin (top box), one set of inherent (middle-box prefix) stats, and one set of upgrade (lower-box suffix) stats, .
The resulting item’s rarity will be changed to “Transmuted”.
The color of the name of the resulting item is usually the same color of the item that provided the stats, but there are some exceptions:
When any of the items is of Legendary rarity, the resulting item’s name will always have legendary color.
When the item in the left slot is of Transmuted rarity, the name of the transmuted item will have that color if it was of a higher rarity than the item in the right slot, even if the stats picked were those of the item in the right slot.
Transmuted legendary precursors will not be recognized as such in the Mystic Forge, i.e. they cannot be used to create legendary weapons.

‘I accidently sold my legendary to a vendor. That’s normally not possible but I transmuted a crafted pearl quarterstaff with the cheapest lionguard staff for the skin, and then six months later I transmuted that lionguard staff with my Bifrost to save the sigil.’

So, it isn’t a bug, I’m afraid.

Remember, you must stay in one zone for all of the 500k to register. If you leave the zone, you start over. It does reset, the indicator does not show that, though, only showing the highest amount achieved, thus far.

Ive checked my character name on the Hall of Monuments calculator and it says that I am due for rewards, ive linked the my guild wars 1 account with guild wars 2 and none of my characters received the Hall of monuments portal. I bought one from lions arch and went to see the merchant inside and cannot see any gear.

In My Account in the linked accounts tab it says my account has been linked.

Not sure what to do now…

This has worked for some people: Enter your Hall of Monuments in GW1. Speak to Kimmes the Historian, and change your Hall from Account-wide to Character-wide, or vice versa. Once you have done that, enter the Hall of Monuments in GW2 and speak to Kimmes, once again. Your rewards should now be available. Good luck. =)

Have you tried looking in your mail? For the item to unlock the bag slot? You may need to delete some mail first.

Well, not sure what you want the forum to do. Go protest on the wiki contributor’s talk page, if you don’t like the contributor’s map. The wiki is only comprised of information contributed by users, just like you and me. Or use the dulfy site, instead. =)

Maybe in cities? Check for those few newly added waypoints, like the one in Plains of Ashford?

The Gendarran Fields Map (high res version) on the Wiki is now bugged. I’ve been doing the map on my necro and at first the map was showing the usual, hearts, waypoints, skill points, etc., but not anymore. I thought maybe Anet has decided to remove them so I’ve checked the other maps and they all have hearts, waypoints, skill points, but not Gendarran Fields.

What do you mean the map in the wiki is bugged? Do you mean the person that uploaded the new picture reflecting the Sky Pirates patch changes to the map didn’t use a map showing hearts, PoIs, etc.? Perhaps, he/she prefers the cleaner look without those indicated. You can turn those indicators off on your map, in-game.

Anyone can contribute to the wiki; if you would prefer a map with hearts, etc., you could upload your own version. =)

If you were using the previous map as a guide, just click on the map to go to the map page, and then click on the map just below the current one. It has all the hearts, etc. =)

The new JP is hard, yes, but it’s hard because of learning the new mechanics and being very careful. As soon as you know what each thing does and the good, easy spots then it’s easy.

It’s like the Mad King puzzle. People freaked out over that and said it was difficult. It was not difficult all the way through until you learned. You just didn’t know where to go. As soon as you figured it out you could do it multiple times.

The only difficult AND unreasonable achievements in this game are the WvW achievements. Some of them will take years to properly do.

I get a feeling that my point wasn’t understood well. If you have an achievement with a fairly trivial 37 requirements yet the last one, which is required to complete the achievement, is miles harder than all the rest then something is simply not right there. Not to mention the fact that the last requirement requires of you to go even further than the puzzle chest itself and that the jump at the end feels almost as RNG.

Well, to be fair, the Diving Achievement wouldn’t be the precedent. Personal Story Achievements are all pretty easy to do solo, and then the last achievement: 5-Man difficult, long, dungeon. Although, the Personal Story achievements are separated, it’s a bit equivalent, as there are levels in the Diving Achievement.

Summoned Husks and Blights are considered plants, just not treants.

Only treants count toward Plant Slayer. Maybe they should have called the Achievement Treant Slayer, but didn’t because few would recognize what a treant was?

I’ve never done Fractals, only been in WvW -total- maybe 2 hours. I have had maybe a total of 10? exotics drop. Just last week Dusk dropped off a level 6 raptor hatchling. I have approximately 1900-2000 hours.

Well, all I can say is…if you are that offended, stop reading. Sounds like a bit of a stretch to me. Each to their own, I guess.

It speaks of one shipped being rammed by another. There is now a hole in it’s hull, and needs to be patched. Not sure what is so disturbing. If you want to anthropomorphize it, the lady now has a knife or something stuck in her ribs (where her corset would be), needs to remove it, and staunch the blood flow. Is this what is disturbing?

Remember, each team works on their particular 2-week-released content for, at least, 2 months. And, as stated above, just because there is a new release, it doesn’t always mean the previous content disappears. Also, some of the content is permanent, and it sounds like more will be so, in the future. I like this schedule. There isn’t such a long wait for new things to do, especially if some of the content is not to your liking, and you wish to skip it. For me, personally, more choice is always greater than less choice. =)
