If they wanted to change immobilize, chill and cripple, instead of adding more specialized ways of dealing with it to traits and skills, they could make dodge roll cleanse them but also reduce endurance regeneration by X% for Xsec.

Thinking,

Immobilize breaking = 50% reduction over 5sec
Chill breaking = 25% over 4sec
Cripple breaking = 25% over 3sec

Overlapping in duration but stacking in intensity.

Idk random thoughts.

2 deep, fat no-aim aoe

Scepter just cannot compete in a group setting. Too many fail to realize Reaper’s greatest utility is boon corruption.

Scepter is better in a group on a condi necro. More overall AOE damage, and you average around the same amount of boon corruption due to how axe as a long cd.

On power i would use axe, axe is useless on condi.

its about how the boon corruption is delivered.

You said frontline and many of us were thinking you meant run with the tag not rushing the backline-freecasters. If you are rushing to gut the glass cannons I wouldn’t even worry about anything other than staying alive and damage. Just don’t stop the rampage to spike or kill, keeping them spooked will stop their freecasting. Rupt meteor showers, drop the hammers and maybe even barrages if you got the resources.

The auto reflect is nice right on tag but everything about the build lets you tether at a small range to hit out and sling back, it’s how that build feeds itself anyway. You might have to get stupid and reach out with a Bound into Steal for a quick down sometimes but it’s mostly still a frontline.

Frontline implies playing with the frontliners, not playing around them. A commander isn’t going to put any thief into his frontline subgroups. He hits a ward and he is probably dead since he wont likely have stability.

Works wonders in Eotm, and bad pug blobs (e.g. like all the returning/pve players lol). Mixed results against more capable enemies.

I’m unsure if people have played the same build as I did but I did this vs FSP which is basically old stacked GvG players and never “bad pug” blobs and I’m destroying melee/backline with this

It’s a very selfish build the only “support” you can give is signet of agi which gives you endurance/3 condi clear to your teammates other than that it’s just pure damage

Its not a question of “can I survive, can I deal dmg?”,
Its a question of “can I survive, deal dmg and/or bring something beyond those to the table?”

Or more precise, what can I bring to the fight that is augmenting, or more preferably, unique.

Ya I thought this thread was silly but ingame people were like just watch, and sure enough…

Enemies leave map to find outnumbered buffs and allies come to outnumbered maps to find the buff leaving people actually playing outnumbered sol.

I joke and say they now need map loyalty bonus. People will literally do anything for loot at the expense of others.

I think it comes down to using a choice elite swap-in like snow leopard or take root in one of the slots.

I’d dump Jade winds for stealth or invulnerable any day while roaming.

I just looks like more spam now.

Reaper does everything in aoe and has traits that do Condi from other traits that also do Condi and those also do Condi from yet other traits. Within a few seconds reapers are putting out every Condi ingame as aoe, and boon corrupts aswell on everything, while playing face tank builds. And the sad part is that reapers believe this is legit because it’s their “balance” and yet still cry for more mobility and evade frames. Whatever I guess, everyone roll a reaper and we can all just mash buttons and get loot!

So how many hours is 175 weekly?

For the trinkets get the mix ascended berserker/valks. It trims precision for Vita. Reaper is crit chance heavy with select traits.

I doubt they are going to buff hammer aa. It strikes players for 3-5k damage. If they changed it they would probably lower it’s 1200 range damage and make it strike for current values on targets at sub 450 range.

Ah I see. Didn’t know you lost the stacks… Never used stacking stat sigils much.

I stopped using stacking sigil on my hammer rev because I got so worried about gaining and then protecting them. Also you really don’t benefit from a stacking sigil on hammer/staff in zerging. The two weapons do 2 different roles so the stacking sigil doesn’t benefit both sets.

Mistforged weapons you could buy straight up or upgrade to them later with a thing bought at same vendor. Weapons probably won’t change. I’m thinking for armor it might be achievement driven for merchant tab unlocks so maybe just skins unlocked? Just switch track over to that armor track and save boxes till Tuesday.

I’ve been playing wvw forever as a moderate and I’m rank 2600ish. My highest guildy is like 4-5kish.

The armor probably won’t be over 1-2k because max used points are only 1k. The legendary backpack maybe 5-10k if they truely want it to mean legendary.

But they probably won’t go that crazy as they don’t want to box people out of rewards by a huge time sink. This should also be a promotion to bring in new people. Look to the Achievements Point rewards for an idea, it was set too low on the low end (nobody uses zenith skins) and way too high on the high end(have never seen the backpack) but ultimately gives newer players a chance at something and veterans a long term goal.

Maybe they are considering an improved LFG along side the ability to run private tags? If they make the LFG interface discreet yet easily accessable from the WvW HUD it could be good.

So you click button on screen and it pops up list of squads in wvw sorted by map. Closed/Private squads are in grey but hotjoin ones are in green. Full are in red. Maybe even room for a description.

Green Borderlands, Squad 13/30, [STRM] OCX Raid next 3hrs All Welcome (map float)
Blue Borderlands, Party 3/5, Roaming group camps/sentries/towers no noobs please

I will always prefer speedy yaks. Upgrading goes so much faster and I can just stand at midway point to intercept enemy players. If I need help I just call the guild. Also you would be surprised how hard a speedy bubbled yak is to kill.

It is similar to yours in concept but it would need to be marauders to be reasonable for dwarf (or mallyx) instead of shiro in zerging. If I was to remake it for purely zerging it would look like this:

I would argue that Deathly Chill be kept as it is in the current meta.

My reason is simple. It promotes extreme build diversity.

Thats funny when i roam with QQ before i had less real lofe issues to atend to, we would prefer to poke larger dumb numbers than ours rather than gank smaller groups. Yes, yes they should. Burning has always been OP since June 2015. The only reason you don’t see burn builds is because they almost never apply enough cover condis to help counter extreme cleansing, or even mild cleansing.

And they don’t even have to make burn applying professions weaker through a burning nerf. They can find other ways to help them out.

And this is coming from an ele, one who would hate to see the super fun burning raid build nerfed, but would be fine with it if it meant making other builds good too.

Necro is a team player. People who don’t understand this want 1v1 buffs. People who do understand it are sick of condi reaper+tempest crushing small scale.

A necro crushing in small scale requires good teamwork and peel from allies, the fact you mentioned a Tempest is really a whole other level of babysitting and shows really how necro is fragile, which is why it will get absolutely rekt before it can do anything in a coordinated gank thanks to the limited non-existent defensive tools necro has, by now everyone and their grandma realizes that necros can actually bite if left alive for too long so catching people out of guard won’t be as easy.

My gripe is why most necro mains are asking for nerfs when secretly they enjoy playing this kind of build and want it to stay like this, it’s specially stupid to ask for nerfs when you know Anet is dodgy on that regard and can actually make or break builds and considering the past history with necros it’s usually the latter. I guess people want necro to keep being kitten on forever and live as a walking meme.

You seem to think making reaper condi more reasonable will nerf their survivability.

I seriously don’t understand this necro community.

Being shoved aside for the last 4 years with really small buffs/tweaks with no big relevance or impact and being shoehorned into a one trick pony aka epidemic didn’t teach you anything? Hell, necro has been at the bottom of the food chain for the longest time, proof of that being that they are labeled as “walking lootbags” by the community, the bloody laughing stock that arguably sports the worst mobility in the game.

BUT the moment necro gets competitive, everyone goes crying for nerfs? Condi mesmers and thieves have been broken forever and nobody is bating an eye at that, btw both of those builds absolutely kitten on condi necro if played at the same level. Anything that doesn’t have half a brain will die to a condi necro right now, because that’s what they are good at, being a panzer within less than 600 range, but keep your distance from that range? then they are USELESS.

Now you cry for nerfs, get the nerfbat, then proceed to cry for another year that necro is crap and left to the dust by the devs. See the cycle?

I would be happy with continued QoL changes but that well has pretty much dried up now. At this point in time its, play WvW if you like the mode, play something else if you do not.

Pretty sure ‘roaming guilds’ are the main zerg these days. If you can’t pop OJs you’re not solo roaming properly

I told a guy who was running a 5 man on a map with solo and duo roamers congrats on zerging small scale. Then after conversation he told me 15 people was small scale…smh
