Personally, I think Its pretty easy to dodge out of the way of coalescence or ruin.

The funny thing is you don’t even have to dodge it. Just strafe. Not even joking, it will miss everytime on someone strafing.

14 conditions,

One class in particular can potentially cause over 10 of them in a matter of seconds to 5 foes within 600 radius.

It’s not the dot conditions that are the problem, it’s all the “trash” conditions that bog players down from cleansing the damage “over time” conditions.

Pray you have instant cast cleansing 2-3 deep. Once a dot is on you it doesn’t care if you dodge/block/invulnerable. Purge or die while avoiding more incoming cc and dot.

Hammer rev in respects to CoR, much like most of rev, needs a re-design. Numbers changes won’t fix hammer because it’s terrible in the 1v1.

That said, Hammer Bolt does need a nerf of some kind to its damage. This shouldn’t happen against an ascended/maxed medium player with an AA from 1500 away. As you can see the rest of the damage I was taking was totally normal so it’s not like I was missing armor or anything to be deceptive on the screen. I’m a ridiculously durable thief as well with +8k health; That AA would have likely one-shotted an exotic-wearing thief in non-toughness/vit gear.

I guess ranger longbow must be op too because there is a build that can put out 10k AA.

I can honestly say I have never seen this, nor when I was playing my own power ranger build (pumping out as much damage while camping LB), My AA’kitten maybe ~5-6k tops when I crit. This is one of those “unless you show me the build in action, I can’t believe it”.

Oh and that metabattle build is garbage. It was clearly made by someone looking to make numbers on screen instead of being optimal for the current wvw environment.

Metabattle’s build isn’t bad but clearly rely more on others help. I have posted it cause was a Celestial stats build, not because was the best build around.

Not only does it rely on others help, it also gives no help in return. It is 100% selfish damage dealer build and nothing more. I actually question its ability to even do meaningful damage beyond “rofl I get lots of bags!”.

Force for power builds as it is straight up +5% damage. For any other pve builds it just doesn’t matter so long as you take one related to what you are trying to accomplish.

i would not mind if i could get the items that needs the crafting on the WvW merchant with a high price, but IMO still it would feel wrong as well, getting the armor tiers is a mess on this game.

Anet should just make withe/yellow/orange(green after upgrade)/purple(dark purple) type of gear… theres to much trash/clutter and that made this game crafting a mess since ascended was a forced tier added to the game….

And then they could make a small reorganize on gear crafting and wayss to get it.

we players have to much armor types and mostly even a new player can get easilly rare or exotic.

Could be possible to upgrade with Tickets and other materials Exotic to ascended?? it would be green color armor, wich could not be stat changed as trade off.

You didn’t understand the other poster,

*Exotic is tickets with no crafting
*T2 is tickets with crafting
Both are same ticket price to unlock the same skin

To get T3 you need to unlock the skin from exotic or T2 (these 2 are the same skins)

*T3 is tickets with no crafting, double ticket cost

Once you buy the exotics or T2 pieces the first time to unlock that skin, you can then buy T3 pieces at any time for double ticket price, no crafting component needed.

This will be great in the long term for wvw players wanting to make alts down the road when they have the banked tickets from one expansion to the next. It’s like how badges work, only meaningful.

No i didnt, t3 is tickets with crafting i got quite some stuff t2 unlocked by default and one or other on t3, since i dont care about the skins on t2 cause i already have them, the t3 stuff i still need the crafting maxed for the grandmaster weaponsmith orbs.

There is no option to get T3 with crafting mark thingies.

T1 = Rares, reward track box
T2 = Exotic or Ascended, tickets or tickets +marks
T3 = Ascended, 2x tickets

You can get ascended from skirmish tickets without having to craft, it just costs more tickets. It’s how they mean to keep ascended crafting relevant. Not sure it will work though.

Kind reminder of the improvements needed.

Um signets are not underperforming and if they ever increase shortbow to 1500 range I will find it’s hard counter and make anyone who runs it ragequit.

I’m disappointed people don’t want sharpened edges restored to it’s former self. All or none on that trait when they freely make monstrous changes to deathly chill by 3×.

Why do people think I died to a Oakheart lol… it clearly says it rally’s people, it doesn’t say it rallied me… It’s a bug that exist in the game which rally’s people if they kill the entangling vines. That’s it.

Build to play with allies.

Unless you are actually good at the game and most of the classes, you are wasting your time playing solo with reaper. Oh I’m sure some will come in here and tell you it’s viable to solo roam on reaper. Reaper is a push class, if you are not playing offensively you are going to lose to builds that dominate solo roaming with their defensive attack builds. If you play offensively against multiple players playing defensively you just die.

I know I know “but justine I play solo reaper all the time”. Ya and I could solo roam with a skill bar full of racial skills, doesn’t make it good for solo roaming.

Scenario…..
Justine is fighting Sazu and they wander to near oakheart.
Justine manages to down Sazu and oakheart does a tangle root attack.
Both players are rooted.

Rest of the scenario:

Roots down Justine, and in comes OP looking at 2 free bags on the ground. Both duelers rally off vines, kill OP, bow to each other and start dueling again.

That happened once,
Except the oakheart didn’t bow,
He just stood there and smiled as my druid cast a water field on his roots and he returned to neutral state.

Ele Staff Skills Are Too Slow!

Improving staff for ele should happen.

Fire 1, ground target, improved splash with burning
Fire 2, last tic heavy damage/burning
Fire 3, ground targeting with fire field that destroys projectiles
Fire 4, passively builds up to 3 skill charges, 1 per 15sec. Usage causes 5sec CD. Damage and burning improved based on how many charges you currently have.
Fire 5, burning, radius of shower decreases per second of channel time.

Air 1, no longer a projectile, on-point attack that strikes upto 5 foes near target
Air 2, instant cast, 1sec delay to detonate, 240 radius
Air 3, Cascade attack, interupts foes on path, knockdown enemies with swiftness, superspeeds allies
Air 4, added ground targeted teleport, causing short/heavy vulnerability and weakness to foes at destination
Air 5, Added increasing pulsing damage, increased size, reduces recharge by static amount per foe stunned by ring

Idk just my thoughts as a glass hammer rev on things that would make me go to ele for ranged damage in wvw.

They should just remove/rework them tbh. They contribute to unhealthy play anyhow just like seaweed +% dmg while moving did.

After you kill a foe, gain (insert buff) for 30seconds increasing your (insert stat) by 250.

So instead of encouraging people to runaway, it encourages them to push harder.

If you need some safe practice, go to queensdale and near the swamp there are a few. I practice on those during late night so people don’t interfere with oakheart and my 1v1 duels.

I run 20% boon food that also gives swiftness on kills.

It’s enough for shroud burst and just shroud flashing. Necro/Reaper really do already get alot of free crit chance.

Also can we change Remorseless back to: Regain Opening Strike when you Stealth? This would open up more possibilities (seeing very few rangers using sword, off-hand axe, or GS) for ranger builds.

I don’t remember Remorseless having ever that functionality. Not that is needed as Ranger outside from the combo LB#3, Smockscale, CS it doesn’t have any access to stealth.

It’s from before no-skill bunker druid was introduced with HoT so you probably wernt around back then.

You know we missed you around here… Since you left us for the yolo hamreventant you spend most of your time complaining in the WvW subforums.

Rich from me? Dude, I’ve watched your thief killing video! It’s rich of you to mock people asking for a hammer nerf when you post videos clearly showing how overpowered it is.

Hammer is even more overpowered in a blob fight where you can pull off thief level damage on 5 players from the safety of the backline.

Even though you were being sarcastic about everyone playing condi bunker, the reality is I would actually prefer to fight condi bunkers than get randomly instagibbed by a CoR bomb. At least a condi bunker doesn’t kill you instantly and gives you a chance to mitigate some of the damage if you have cooldowns remaining.

As a condi bunker reaper I will freely admit that Epidemic was/is overpowered.

Can you do the same about hammer?

If you think hammer rev is so OP go play it and post a vid of it.

I can legit say that because I made a reaper a year ago and did 2 vids for it, looking at a third soon I think.

I picked up reaper cold and still only have a couple hundred hours. I’d play my reaper every night if STRM didn’t need something to answer power gankers. Reaper is quite seriously the easiest thing to play in wvw atm when considering it’s difficulty level of landing skills and the effect it has on a fight as a whole.

You can find half a dozen regular Condi/hybrid reapers posting vids on the forums. Show me even 1 pro hammer rev that posts vids. There are none because they are playing berserkers, dragon hunters, daredevils and chronomancers.

Hamrev is fairly broken from the beginning. And Armour doesn’t mitigate power crits at all which is a problem with instagib 15K skills like backstab or CoR.

Also CoR ignore LoS as it goes thru doors or walls. And all those +50% damage rev has in low CD actually break the game.
