It’s not the usual zerg content though. Teq for a long while was difficult to beat with a group. It required effort. The other zerg content requires very little in comparison. To each their own, but the Teq fight got a ton of likes over dislikes.

Which server is TTS on? I know blackgate will be doing their best again, as well as Des I am sure of it. I look forward to the challenge.

This new robot is a puppet of scarlets. Is this also a metaphor for Tyrians being puppets to something else? Like magic maybe?

Why place it out there in lornars pass? It’s not really near a city if her goal is to destroy one.

Take out the overflow problem with the TEQ update. Did you enjoy fighting him? I did, this wurm should be similar.

They could change it so you have to kill all the bosses, but I don’t think people would be too happy about that.

My guess is the name was changed to something else when the game went live but I’ve not been able to figure it out.

Be patient and expect to be undercut. Regardless pre’s move at a decent rate.

I think most would agree this thread has more than run it’s course.

I don’t mind sword but I had an odd one today where I was focused on attacking a necro and all of a sudden I went off in left field and hit his shadow fiend. Not even sure why, the player wasn’t even near it.

Was wondering if anyone can shed any light on this weapon. What it is, where it comes from etc.

It’s listed on the wiki as unknown rank, and I can not find it in the locker at all. My guess is it was renamed during beta or perhaps removed? Anyone know.

Basically says:
“Weapon Token+Tournament token+Arcane Sliver = Hawk, Handler, Obtuse”

Now Hawk is still in game, Obtuse is in game as a sword only and not a set of weapons. But the above quote makes it sound like a set.

I completed all Arah paths this week actually. Benn putting it off and putting it off since launch. (I don’t love most of the dungeons in this game) I was able to find groups for all without paying anything. Few of them too longer than others but I was able to find groups all the same.

I don’t see an issue.

Any player should play how they want. Playing with their strengths makes sense but a lot of players like to play outside of the box, this of course doesn’t mean that it always works.

I didn’t say that it did. But for many of the posts the first point of contention is “lacks support”

Unless of course you don’t like those classes and want to play a guardian. Heck for some it might be their only class.

When you run pugs all the time you see a ton of different builds. Most of them are not “Meta” builds at all. I ran with 2 other guardians the other day who were running “commando front line” build. Now I have no idea what that is (probably posted on the forums here somewhere or on youtube), but it certainly wasn’t the meta build and we did just fine.

This is not to say that I think nemesis build it top dps but like I said I thought it was an interesting video and wanted to open discussion on it as well as the dps he was putting forth. He says it’s a pug build and that is about what it is.

I would also advise that whatever idea or concerns you have about Ranger you should read and follow the stickied post.

People keep talking about support but that isn’t what he was advertising in his build at all. I understand the importance of it but it’s not what he was “building”

I’ve been playing the class since launch. Just not in pvp. Thanks I’ll take a look at that build. It could be sPVP is not for me and I should stay out of it.

I don’t think his intention is to be hipster. He thinks that this is the best solo DPS, without relying on anyone else. I am unable to defend any build really but I run pugs all the time and it’s hard to find a pug you can rely on to give you might, healing, fury, etc.

I just tried this build for the last 2 days or so and just can’t get it to work. I’m probably fairly terrible so maybe there is a skill cap I am not seeing and just can’t meet but I feel much weaker on this character then on my ranger in spvp. Not sure what I am doing wrong. I’ve been 2 and 10 on this build. Granted I am not losing alone but can’t help but feel like I am contributing to those losses. I get knocked and pushed around a lot and the damage isn’t very impressive.

Hahah been waiting for someone to say this. Remember it was only datamined, doesn’t mean it will make it into the game.

When a new MMO comes out one of the big draws for many players (not all) is a new world to explore and adventure in. New zones add this to the game. It also can have the effect of stretching the player base out too much as well which we know from previous statements AN doesn’t want. (who would)

However there are a good deal of players who sit in LA all day everyday because there is nothing new to explore or really do.

I would love new maps to explore and perhaps a new dungeon as well, Not a rehashed one, but a full complete new dungeon. The list goes on.

My point is that these new MMO coming out this year aren’t necessarily better or offer more than GW2 currently has, but it does have a new map / world to explore and for some that’s enough to play for a month or 2.

Vol’s bank always makes me drool. :P

Seems ok in general. My friends list still has tons of people on, my various guilds are nearly empty though.

Clearly not everyone can see it. If someone was new to the game, or had switched characters to try guardian out and were inexperienced they should not even play the class? Why?

I only really have an issue with bloodstone overflow. Have way too much and converting into bricks is far to expensive for the amount I have.

I thought it made the “glow” brighter? Is this not true? I’ve been told so by people DW the pistols.

Even as a PVE player I think this is a bad idea. I know we don’t know the details yet but PvEers will have a big advantage here or at least less hurdles to jump.

Google around a bit, yes people do.
I do not see the problem with those who dislike it and dislike the price of it to voice their opinion on the matter. A fair amount of us players who come to forums have been complaining for some time that the amount of work and effort put into some gem store items is lacking and yet prices continue to rise. 500 gems for a full armor set at launch, now you get a face tattoo for that.

People will buy it if they like it and can afford to, and so AN will continue to so. I wonder what and when the next price hike will be.

Don’t worry I am sure they will add some other super easy way to obtain all that in a few months making most players work a waste of time. Oh and they will add fire to all the armor and sell them on the gem store for a markup.
