Again, it’s your freedom to choose – but like in the real world, there are consequences, so don’t QQ if people hates you. Freedom is not absolute.
Luckily Guild Wars 2 is a game revolving around guilds, where we can blacklist those who cause trouble.
A fix-buff to Rangers.
Unfortunately, I doubt it will pass.
If a camera crew is filming a movie, would you intentionally stand in front of their camera? Would you tell them just to film elsewhere? Would you complain if they were mad at you?
This deals with a little something our parents call “respect”. You’re forgetting MMOs are played by real-people, and you should treat them with the same courtesy you would treat someone in real life.
If you don’t understand moral and social conduct, then I worry about this new generation of insolent whippersnappers.

I smell as burgers, in this thread.
Anyways, if you want to kill champions out of order, and ruin other people’s fun, you’re free to do so.
However, just understand the consequences, people will dislike you. I certainly hope those do not act like this in real life, as it is indicative of sociopathic behavior, and would explain why certain someones do not have friends.
Think it’s just trolling in an MMO? You forget there are real people playing this game. You might want to read up on this:

+1
Bring back Canach and expand him a little.
Also, trees with arms of FIRE!
I’d say Canach is a better villain, mainly because he has a decent motive rather than just plain evil. Canach actually has a sense of morality and justification, so that gives him surprisingly more depth than any other GW2 villain so far.
What I would like to see is Canach trying to take on the Elder Dragons as well, but opposing the Pact because their growing numbers made them a rogue state dangerous to political stability in Tyria.

Just a theory, but the w3 Genie will probably be an antagonist foreign to the game, who will mess up SAB’s code. Moto will beg us to defeat it in the next installment of SAB living story.
Hey, would any fellow lover of Cantha and Kaineng City care to extend this track, please?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LA8GKXPeqXQ
It was so awesome hearing that song play throughout most of Factions, but the upload of it is sooooo short…
Elona is better with Joko anyways. He might be a dictator, but he is a wealthy dictator who brought Green and Water to the desolation.
Would you have really preferred Kourna with its evil military generals, or Vabbi with its too-stupid-to-live oligarchy? Istan might have been better than those 2, but they are the birthplace of Kormir…. That leaves Joko to fix up this mess.
GW2 is a magitech, akin to FF6.
Sounds an awful lot like Trahearne. Hearing him talking about anime and Daft Punk makes me like him a bit more.
Because “immersion”. Same reason we’re forced to use aqua breathers underwater instead of our normal helmets.
What farming problems?
Some people like gearing out their alts.
Yo yo yo, dun’ be bashing my Bro’ham. He’s the coolest character in the GW2 so far, dun’ be hatin’!
Yo ANET.. Don’t KITTEN this up. Brandishes Mad King Thorn rifle
A lot of people seem to like Canach as a character, from what I’ve been reading in lore posts.
He isn’t a villain per se, but a dissident trying to fend off his hunters while freeing the settlers. (This was illustrated poorly ingame.)
Eventually we fought him, and we discovered Canach as an expert in guerilla warfare and mines. Throughout our showdown against him we discovered Canach wasn’t no ordinary Sylvari, but not overpowered either, making him more realistic when compared with Trahearne, Scarlet, Faolin, etc..
To be honest I miss Canach, and I think think they should bring him back. What do you think?
- Buff Healing Power
- Add more “offensive:” stat types (Assassin’s is a great start.)
- Eliminate PVT from the game. I’m serious. The other defensive types aren’t so bad, but PVT….
Keep hard difficulty but the rewards need a better carrot at the end of it. People will not do this once the event is over.
To be honest, I wouldn’t have kicked them 7 hours into the run. That was a mean thing to do. Seriously. I would have kicked them 5 minutes into the run! :P
WTF is the appeal of Brown Bear anyways? It’s not like they look cool or anything, and their autoattack is so weak… Why do people use them? If you want a tanky pet with good support, use Canines, which have knockdowns and fast attack speed… WHY do people use bear instead!?
(PM me ingame if you want a competent ranger by the way. I use 1h sword!)

Salad + Chicken
Sylvari + Tengu
That covers Vegetables and Meat, what about Dairy? Should we milk a Charr? :P
Could just be random gibberish, or some ancient language irrelevant to GW2.
I remember ANET used the Mayan calender as a texture for the Hall of Monuments in GW2. I even found the original image before they removed saturation from it and called it a texture.
What about the Dragon Minions?
For once th most useless stat combination in the game has a use in PvE (though I wish they would abolish PVT…)
We don’t know yet, though there are some theories out there. The one I like best takes into consideration the fact that the aetherblades are composed of charr, human, and norn – the same races as were displaced by the molten alliance. Scarlett may have orchestrated the molten alliance not only to build her weapons, but perhaps to raise an army from the desperate, displaced masses (who had no idea that Scarlett was the cause of their homelessness). Some have asked, why then were molten alliance fighting alongside the aetherblades in Scarlett’s invation? They actually never fight “side by side”, the aetherblades are teleported in only before or after a wave of molten alliance minions.
That’s all still speculation, but the point is, there is definitely reason to believe there are compelling motives, just not ones that have been relieved yet. It may be right to object, though, that they’ve been stringing it along too long, to the point where most people have lost interest in following the story.
In that case, the living world is a terrible format of story telling.
We’re able to love jRPG villains because we could play it through as a whole, whereas we have to wait sometimes months to see another chapter in the Guild Wars 2 story. This leaves a sour taste in our mouthes and gives us bad impressions about villains like Scarlet, which left the impression she was a Villain-sue in the eyes of many GW players.
I’m going to stress that I’m NOT blaming ArenaNet’s writers and designers for this. I do believe they have awesome ideas, and they’ve proven thow capable the team is by creating such a vast world full of lore. But their potential is suppressed by the limited delivery of content. The time gap makes the story feel too segmented and disjointed.
Time gating is not fun. It’s just a lazy way to control the economy because the auction house creates an oversupply of items too quickly.
In that respect, ArenaNet should be proud the tradping post is TOO successful!
I am fairly happy with Engineer. Any buffs is oil to the machine! ;D
From my experience on Warrior, I would also say that class is perfect at the moment. Any chances might mess up the perfect balance achieved for that class at the moment.
Ranger on the other hand.. I LOVE my Ranger, but wish she was buffed…
Currenlt at 50%. Planning to stop at around 200.
Do we STILL not know what the hell Atherblade motivations are? And not one of the prisoners told us ANYTHING?
Oh wait.. We do? “Because they don’t want Scarlet to kill them”? Wow, that’s kinda unrealistic in a world where everything else is trying to kill you anyways. It doesn’t really seem like a good way to raise an army.
Terrible, terrible villain…. I hope she’s not in the dungeon path.

People like the OP (one only needs to check his sig) are exactly what GW1 wasn’t catered for, and how GW2 is exactly catered towards.
If I understand correctly, he wants a list of pre-determined cookie cutters to join with him to farm so they can farm better.
You obviously didn’t play GW1.
Everyone who joins must ping their build. If I ever see you ingame running Fire Storm or Mending on a warrior, you could be sure I will kick you!
Where is the Assassin’s ring in the FoTM vendor and Laurel Trader?
Any calculations anywhere on Assassin versus Berserker armor?
How much critical % is gained by using Assassin over Berserker? How much damage % is lost?
Not sure which set to use…
I hope itll be a rare drop too.
Wonder how it will animate though, since Tequatl doesn’t move.
What if Sic Em’… Works on Simin?
GLF Ranger Arah p4!
In all seriousness, this is a HUGE Gameplay changer if it counters bosses with stealth!
Will I be able to switch it to an alt and keep the legendary/ascended status?
How do I transfer my legendary to alts? Without losing legendary status?
Better solution: Why hasn’t anyone simply tried to talk to them?
The ONE REASON they attack humans in the first place is because they are cursed to see them as Charr. However during AC P3 we could temporarily transform into ghosts and talk to them…
So why hasn’t the dang idea EVER occured into anyone’s head simply to talk to them and explain the situation?
Is it too hard? Respect the awesome work

Josh, please do NOT change anything. And Frog King is perfect, since he’s a breeze once you master his pattern.
Predator is fine the way it is, and I’d be disappointed if they made a series of Sniper Rifles called HUNTER and PREDATOR into bright ray guns.
What I would have preferred instead is if it made my character transparent.
Relax. They also said we would get our day.
Until then, I will continue happily playing my precious kitty kat!
Charr are SO cool! What a wasted opportunity! :’(
Next: Automatic mode!
For all the people who want rewards without working towards them, now they can play the game without playing the game!

The exact skill bar. Surprisingly good!
Ends September 1st.
5 tickets is a lot, but that’s good. It still keeps the skin’s rarity intact while providing those who really want it a chance to get it.
That’s the idea, yes
No it’s not, and you know it! (Unless you admit it’s appropriate to dish out $280 for one weapon skin, and that’s not even guaranteed?)
Cmon’ we’re not stupid.
(edited by Kain Francois.4328)
I really get the feeling ANET is out of touch with reality if they’re asking 7 tickets, or they’re actually aware what they’re doing is exploiting those with a gambling addiction.
Thumbs up to Scott on the writing. The writing is actually good.
I gotta give Scott kudos as well. We understand how hard it was to salvage this trainwreck, so for what he did was pretty decent.
I feel bad for Logan. His character himself isn’t bad, but he’s suffering from the same issue with Trahearne’s writing where EVERYONE orbiting him are dumb-aholes.
You’re telling me Logan couldn’t know about the invasion? That just makes Queen Jennah look like a shrew. Especially considering, y’know… Logan sacrificed Snaff to save her life? You’d think she’d show appreciation? But no, the dang shrew STILL lies to him and acts condescending!?
(edited by Kain Francois.4328)
Who is calling the shots, ultimately responsible for this trainwreck?
Not only did they spoil what should’ve been exposition ingame, but they still hadn’t justified why a Sylvari could come out of NOWHERE and graduate THREE Asuran colleges in under a year, earn the respect of all three Charr legions to be trained by them, Norn, and Hylek.
And SOMEHOW, even though she’s an insane, maniacal psychopath, she’s able to command the FLAME LEGION who hate women? And she’s able to earn the respect of INQUEST? Furthermore, the AETHERBLADE who are a technologically advanced union between all 5 races?
And you’re telling me Scarlet has no motivation whatsoever other than being evil for the sake of being evil?
This is a complete and utter mess. I’m sorry but EVERYTHING about her character contradicts the lore!
I hadn’t seen a character introduced this badly since Ashton Kutcher in Two and a Half Men.
