Honestly, I hope they expand upon the Steam Creature lore, since they’re such a prevailing enigma. Hopefully Thaumanova Reactor reveals more about them.

But its OK for farmers to deliberately fail events for profit and threaten players who interfere with their precious route?
You’re missing the point about social norms.
If you interfere with their farming route, obviously you provoke an angry response. Don’t act like they aren’t justified to be mad at you.
To be clear, it’s NOT okay for them to act like they own the map. However, it is the established social norms, and it’s not nice to purposely go against them just to provoke an angry response.
We’re talking basic social behavior here. If you go to a party and everyone is doing pot, you aren’t going to lecture them about not doing pot and confiscate it from them. Sure, what they are doing is illegal, but it was the social norm at the party.
What’s right or wrong legally is one discussion, but what is right or wrong socially is something that should be very clear.
Anise just has a condescending personality and weird sense of humor. Like for example in the Key Farm personal story, she disguises Logan as an ugly bandit with a burnt face (as opposed to Uptown Johnny.)

Marketing had no involvement in casting the player character. This was a design-driven decision.
The unfortunate side effect of having the player speak with 10 different voices is that it is cost prohibitive, and that the lines are shared. Dialog does not deviate, which means that a charr male PC says the same line as a sylvari female in cinematics in circumstances where any player can talk.

Honestly, did the marketing team believe whether or not people like Nolan North voices the main character, would decide whether or not people buy the game?
Now because of decisions like that, our playable character has to be mute for most the upcoming updates! <_<
I mean, granted Nolan North is a great voice actor, does anyone actually care enough for it to be a deciding factor?
Logan has a kittenin’ new shield in the Queen Pavilion instance. Has anyone seen him wearing it? Makes him look a lot more like a Guardian now, and less a Warrior.
I run zerker. Between our +50% endurance regeneration and Serpant’s Strike, we have more than enough evades with 1h sword to deal quite decent damage with great survivability.
I don’t think they should remove pets. But I do think they should move more towards utility, such as Red Moa applying Fury to the team, or Fern Hound being able to knockdown foes, and apply regeneration.
