I’m not convinced that’s accurate. I’ve noticed that site has been presenting negative numbers for score not from tick for a couple months now.

If things haven’t changed for a long time, then the points not from tick also includes Yaks/Sentry’s as well. Not just PPK points.

I understand. That’s why I think the calculation is broken on that site.

For instance if you look at last week’s NA match, SoR shows that -14.09% of their score was gained not from tick.

I like both the PPK and no white swords changes. Hope they make them permanent.

What I’m finding interesting is that T2 is scoring more points than T1 in NA – either T2 is busier than T1 or they die a lot more haha.

Would anyone actually prefer dealing with junk items to simply receiving the copper directly?

I’ve been getting random items towards my collection achievements which is nice but also some cool lore type items like a Seaweed Quaggan Doll or the Super Sweet Ring. Just the text on these items is cool, the Seaweed Quaggan Doll says, “Ugh. It smells funny out of water.”

From what I understand everything in the game is on the loot table for the Star and Mawdrey gifts. Over 65k items on the TP alone….one day they will give me a precursor, I just know it!

Title says it all, if your outnumbered in your BL you should get white swords in my opinion, since your already lacking man power to counter the amount of people ( unless they’re really really really bad), since scouting will become harder due to lack of people and the chance theres siege anywhere in any tower is minimal.

Gaile, something related to mail that can be a bit misleading – not sure if you folks want to look into this…

But if someone gifts a person an item through the gem store, the gifter’s name appears with the ArenaNet logo. I think the mail system is seeing the sender as the gemstore (ArenaNet), while personalizing the gift with the giver’s name.

Just something that caught me off guard once.

Same problem here, also seeing reports of players not able to purchase gems.

I’m also throwing all my greens into the Mystic Forge for rares, I’m sure I’m not the only one doing this. The loot bags make it very easy stack things up for forge visits without causing inventory problems.

The WvW maps will be the hardest maps you will ever complete in this game. A bit of strategy and understanding how the maps work will go a long way into helping you complete these.

The biggest factor in completion is not how strong your server is or how outnumbered a match is or anything to that effect – the biggest factor is what color your server is that week.

It should be fairly easy to complete your server’s “third” of EBG and your Borderlands. Depending on how strong your server is playing that week, you may get most of the lower parts of the other server’s Borderland maps with possibly some good pushes into their 1/3 of EBG, especially around the edges of your third.

The hardest objectives to get will be the enemy’s keeps and garrisons. As a general rule, depending on how well your server is playing that week, you may see a coordinated push into enemy keeps at reset or later in the week when you’ve built up enough supply to push. But it’s far, far easier to just claim those objectives when your server rotates to that color.

So start your WvW mapping early in your completion journey, make sure to get as many of the more difficult objectives on as many characters as possible when your server changes colors.

This tool uses the API to track guilds that have claimed an objective in WvW. Note that this does not mean captured, but rather a guild that has leveled it’s influence in Art of War enough to claim a captured objective in WvW and then had an opportunity/reason to actually claim an objective.

There are many multiples of that number of guilds that never claim objectives in WvW, even more that never even enter WvW.

I would think WoW’s recent fiasco with their WoD launch would prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that test servers don’t do squat.

Broken, buggy, unbalanced, unstable servers, chock full of poor design decisions – they even started issuing refunds it was so bad. They are still pushing out hotfixes or taking down the servers on an almost daily basis almost a month after launching.

It was on public test servers for 5 months.

Well, I can’t complain. I bought the skin simply because how cheap it is. I like collecting a nice variety of armour pieces and the cheaper the better

They are working through the list slowly but surely, I’ve posted there 2x now and both of my issues were addressed.

If WoW can get by for 2 years with nothing but a couple raids, I’m sure GW2 will survive 1 month with Wintersday, WvW Sneak Attack, the new PvP leaderboard race, and all the contents from the last patch (new areas, new events, new story, new achievements, 4 new armor pieces to get, the new jumping puzzle, etc.)

You might want to focus on the actual issue which is you getting disconnected. Check the Tech Support forums or submit a ticket to see if you can get that problem resolved before asking for other players to be locked out due to your connection issues.

Not a dumb question at all

Once you’ve unlocked an item by equipping, destroying or mystic forging it, it will be in your account wardrobe where it can be applied to any character (subject to racial and armor weight limitations). You can see what is in your wardrobe by going to your bank and selecting the 3rd tab. It requires one transmutation charge per item to apply.

For something like the back item, you’ll need a back pack strap of some sort to apply it to if you do not already have a back item on that character.

One second is a lifetime in games like these. They’d have to re-balance the entire class, traits and abilities.

You would effectively be adding a cast time to the elemental abilities and who would want that? xD
