I think this is the cpu it uses, seems like it has HD 4000, which will cover the graphics.

2.5 GHz but turbo boost up to 2.9 GHz

I’m not familiar with laptop cpu specs at all, so I figured I would just ask.

Are are there any refurbished laptops around that price on newegg, capable of running GW2 on low settings? I just need it for daily log in, gathering, and maybe some world bosses at 5 fps.

I’m currently laptop less, and soon I’ll have to spend some weeks out of the house, so I figured I would get one now.

It’s working as intended if you’re not afk.

Disagree, they would have to go through and nerf several other potential afk spots if they go down this road, and at that point it will start to strongly impact non afk players.

We should be able to refine t5 mats and gold ore into mystic coins.

If I recall correctly from almost 4 years ago, the events system is what was put in to replace quests. Hearts were added close to launch as it was discovered that new players didn’t understand what to do and needed some sort of “breadcrumb” trail to lead them from place to place.

Even if they weren’t meat to replace, the heart system is still just as mudane as the quest system of other games.

1. Increase experience of other map rewards.

2. The point of map completion is not doing heart quest, it’s for the sdventure.

If you already have the money/mats, crafting does not take hours, well unless you decide to max them all in one sitting or something.

I am now seeing groups of them in Frostgorge in certain spots. Immobile for hours, heal on the cooldown timer (enemy around or not), killing and mastery looting.

How do you know they are there for hours? Did you stay with them for hours too ?

Yes. I rotate harvesting on 15 characters in Frostgorge. I alternate atk farming bears and champ troll with harvesting to break DR and reset common nodes. They were there, unmoving, overnight. Several times.

I don’t report them unless they haven’t moved for at least an hour.

I don’t think this is all about gold, but more about earning Tyrian Mastery Exp while working, sleeping and doing other activities afk.

EQ2 had a major problem with AFK mercenary leveling, they finally addressed it by drastically reducing Exp from pet only kills. You actively had to damage things with your character for full exp, so paltry EXP unless you used a 3rd party program. They killed the AFK exp gain done by misusing in game mechanics.

They should address it by doing away with ranger pets. hint

How can you call it afk farming when you don’t know if they are really afk? Just report them and move on.

Having useful farming nodes that remain in low level areas, that only some are willing to go farm is good for the economy.

The amount of players that pay little attention to the tp, and prices of mats is suprising.

I often watch the streams of newish/casual gw2 players, and a large number of them have no regard for the tp. Meaning they fail to make the connection when they casually chop some tree, and each log is worth 5s.

Until someone like WP spells it out for them.

You could try saving your screenshots as .bmp , you need to append a command line argument to your GW2 shortcut.

Right click the shortcut -> Properties -> Target Area -> go to the end of the text in there, after the quotes, add a space, then put -bmp

eg. …\Guild Wars 2\Gw2.exe" -bmp

Lesson: don’t sit on items for well over a year expecting them to never drop in price.

I’ve been hoping they would start selling single piece legging and chest pieces in general. Would solve the problem some classes have with trench coats and skirts.

But yeah, I’d like more chaos pieces.

I like high wood prices, Gives peeps some other ways to make gold.

I buy outfits mainly to get rid of leather armor buttcaps, and some heavy armor limitations, but the last few outfits have had some form of buttcap.

Hes on f2p and level 48, so far his bank is mostly full of winterdays drinks ETC.

Hes may concern is, if he buys them now, that later date they well go on sale or rather he will find out he didn’t need them in the long run.

Again hes doesn’t want to buy hot yet.

Don’t see why he isn’t ready to buy HoT, the money he will end up spending on bank/bag slots will probably end up being around the same amount as HoT.

The nodes spawn in different locations, when they generally spawn around same area, so you can probably just draw a line route following the areas where Nexterror has marked the nodes.

As long as you can buy gems with gold, I don’t see much value in complaining about petty purchases like that. I opened up a new bank tab with some leftover AP gems and 10 gold.

If you don’t have much time to farm gold, and acquire most of your gems through real money, I think it’s valid to complain about prices you don’t agree with.

Don’t have a problem with snipers, but I do have a problem with shadowleapers, or whatever those things are called.

Evades, stealth, and attacks that can easily drop your hp by half, and if they’re a vet or spawn over level 80, they can be pretty tanky.

I don’t have a spouse, kids, friends or anything like that, and I feel like I can only play Hot seriously during the weekend.

Most of the time I end up in empty verdant brink maps trying to hold two rally points all by myself, while having lfg open to look for taxis, but no luck.

I’ve been helped by mentor tags far more than they’ve annoyed me.

I’d like them to stay as is.
