Remove the one character per day limit on the big chest at most of the smaller world boss events.
Now that all world boss events are scheduled for the same time, I really don’t think it’s needed, and just servers as a bit of annoyance trying to remember what events you’ve already done on a specific character.
They are willing to add anything as long as people buy it. Soon u will see death stars and lightsabers.
That could work.
I look at the Modir event chain.. a few doing the pre’s and a 100 sat in the tent waiting for a single champ to spawn right at the end of the last pre then they run up to leech the final part… they have not done anything to warrant a full reward except crowd 1 tent for a champ.. therefore the end world boss event reward should reflect that.
I prefer the majority of players to not do the ulgoth pre events events, easier to tag mobs for loot.
Is it possible the missing charr tails are intended?
Looking at what it does to human males and others lower half, the lower half of the outfit warps the characters entire lower half, for Charr’s this warping can include their tail.
Ty for the info.
Love the new minis and plan to use the flaming head mini while wearing my Mad King’s outfit.
And we finally got the Lich outfit so many have asked for. Unfortunately the wings clip with the backpieces we have, but can’t have everything.
*Maybe ANet can make those wings separately. *
Yeah, I was about to say, hopefully we can get them as a back item in the future.
I was waiting for his, been a while since I’ve purchased gems for something.
Yeah, OP is saying he wants to spend 15 laurels to auto complete 100% one map.
Yes, I’ve posted on this before, I’d like more as well.
Anet should put in an in game lottery.
Everyone has the option to give 50s-1g every daily reset, and at the next reset those funds are split between 5-10 people. (depending on how many people end up participating)
- Buy black Lions weapons
- Buy silk to craft ascended armor
- Maybe buy one of the weapons A Gift of Light is used to make.

This thread inspired me to post this.
We know currently that when you’re in lower level maps equipment drops are designed to mostly give equips of your level , and occasionally give you equips of the maps level.
What if it was possible for there to be a buff implemented in game that reverses this?
This may give further encouragement for players to play in lower level maps, knowing they have a good chance of receiving lower leveled gear, if that’s what they’re seeking.
Aww, no Raiment of the Lich outfit today? (if it’s even an outfit)
Two thumbs down on profession based loot at 80.
Please let us turn it off for characters that are level 80.
The desktop in question.
below there is a screenshot from the manual of some of the desktop specs.

Yeah, I know, basically I want to give my brother something really simple to play GW2 on, but he doesn’t get along so well with hardware/computer software sometimes, if you know what I mean, so I’m not doing anything spectacular.
By low end, I mean really low end.
It will be fine if he is able to do world events on the lowest setting at 6-10 FPS, even skipping MAW if he has to.
As far as hardware goes, I’m using this thread as a reference.
The desktop is already equipped with this CPU:
AMD Athlon II X2 220: http://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu.php?cpu=AMD+Athlon+II+X2+220
I googled before hand to see if there was anyone else that runs GW2 using that CPU, and this is the vid card they threw out there.
Radeon HD 6670 : http://www.amazon.com/XFX-650MHz-PCI-Express-Graphics-HD667XCLF3/dp/B00AHV7NNE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1412207015&sr=8-1&keywords=radeon+hd+6670
What do you guys think? Somethings I’m worried about is if the GPU will fit in there, cooling, and the PSU.
I am sure Anet could figure a way to satisfy farming to some extent. For example they could set up something like a Queen’s Arena for farmers where they can go round and round and round for their champs. Throw in the occasional interesting reward or some interesting achievement for that interesting reward in addition to the regular stuffs and there you go…
But they have. Go to Cursed Shore. Or run the champ train in Frostgorge. Or do any of the other dozen world event chains.
But no, those aren’t good enough are they? Because you can’t stand in one place to do them.
Nothing to do with standing in one place, they’re not “good enough” because they were nerfed to mere shadows of what they used to be.
Well, FGS at least, CS is decent as long as people are calling events and not killing champs without saying anything and such.
So that makes it okay to farm an event that was never meant to be farmed?
With the ultimate result that we get another event chain nerfed into oblivion? Is that the way this logic works?
Farmers cause their own problems.
I don’t participate in the coil farm, so I’m sot sure how rewarding it would be when completing vs failing, but assuming it’s less rewarding than others farms when actually completing the event, they wont lose out on anything if they farm it till it gets nerfed, either way they wont be getting “phat loots”.

Whether it’s irl or in a game, there may be some abuse/anger whenever an individual or small group does something a large amount of people don’t want them to do.
Like opening the window of a bus to enjoy the cool breeze when it’s 50 degrees outside.
If I can get aggro on the mob, I drag them down to where the ice crystals spawn,a nd the masses are.
I don’t know why people fight them up there, if you’re one of the first ones to tag you’re pretty much guaranteed loot regardless of how much dmg you do.
“You don’t think I could., wait, that wouldn’t be right would it?”
+1 to anyone who knows what in game convo this came from, and what it was about, lol.
lol
“After they breach that door, they’re going to activate quickness, and rapid fire every single one of us to death.”
Go back to single player games is my advice.
Seriously…? You guys are never happy, sheesh
No, we are not happy.
Kind of difficult to farm mats from mobs when there are 10 other people trying to do the same thing.
“Just move to a new location.”
All the other locations are trash, or have been nerfed to trash, besides, there aren’t many places to farm t6 mats anyway.
Anet made it so we didn’t have to fight over gathering nodes because they felt that would be bad for the game, well now you’re going to have tons of people in zerker armor fighting over mob tags.
edit: with that said, I haven’t been on in a while, so I have no idea if OP was kicked for being inactive or not since he didn’t say.
Well this thread is embarrasing. As soon as anet delivers slightly more complex fights people claim its too hard. Its really not hard. I honestly dont know what to think. I thought games were supposed to be challenging.
I want more than 10 times the difficulty of this fight for future stuff. But its a step in the right direction. Maybe you will learn how to play the game if anet continues to increase the difficulty. I can only hope. :P
I’d say people play games for fun, not challenge, but to many challenge = fun, while to some others the fun in the game may be the visuals, the activities they can do in the game, and other things that make up a game.
In short, I think games are supposed to be fun, whether it’s challenging or not depends on who is playing it, and who the target audience is.
If you play games for visuals etc you are probably better off watching films. Just saying. I dont think anyone buys games purely for visuals. Gameplay is important. And that usually involves some form of challenge to make you interact with the game. Obviously they are nice additions and make good games better, but the reason way play games is to play something interactive. If its not challenging then that interaction is somewhat numbed and the play experience becomes dull very quickly. You need challenge to increase the longevity of a game.
This is why most of us dungeon runners are now thinking of moving away from the game. With the announced no work being done on new dungeon content. The game looks like it is wasting its combat system and new content with high replayability is not a priority for anet. The games longevity will suffer in the longterm if this isnt revised. Unfortunately its too late for most of us. Which is a shame because the combat system is amazing and really suits challenging combat perfectly.
I should have been more descriptive than that, and that was probably the wrong word for it what I meant by “visuals”, I mean the visual aspect of the game as a whole, everything from weapon/armor skin collecting, gaining access to new regions, to simply liking how your character swings their bow, or shoots their sword, performing simple activities so people can obtain more of these things is actually fairly popular in some games.
I’m not saying challenge is bad, nor am I against it, I was just saying that there is more to video games than just challenge, people play them for different reasons. A large number of people who play pokemon games probably don’t expect to be challenged much, but they still find it entertaining.

Maybe(hopefully) thieves will be able to wield greatswords in the future.
Yes, I’ve played games where the assassin/stealth class were able to use 2 hand swords, and they were pretty awesome. (shadowblade – Daoc)
Glad I never started on this, maybe they should have let people know ahead of time that this would eventually require fractals? :x I don’t know how, but, ah well.
We are getting a patch today? Didn’t even know, I’ve been out of the loop.
Well this is a fun surprise.
I like the female sword stance, it’s one of the reasons I made my ranger a female.
My problem with human females is the fact that the majority of their body models comes with arms that are skinnier than a super models arms.
Nice, I have been hoping they expand on the Bria storyline. :x
I seem to now be under the impression that when people say “Bearbow”, they mean any ranger with a bow, regardless of what pet or bow type they’re using.
Like this?

You are not the only one who wants to talk with the Pale Tree. There are at least one million other so-called heroes waiting for an audience. Draw your number and wait.
We’re the Pact leader, and allies of Trahearne though, I would say that’s a little more than a so called hero.
default MW skins = the skins that dropped fine and masterwork weapons have that aren’t assigned to a specific zone. http://wiki.guildwars2.com/images/thumb/1/1a/Iron_Greatsword.jpg/799px-Iron_Greatsword.jpg
If there are no plans for weapon dying in the future, I thought it would be pretty cool if these default skins were introduced to the achievement panel with varying colors.
White
Celestial
Red
Midnight sky, etc
Players would be able to earn these simple skins doing easy task like completing a certain PS, or killing a specific champion. I think it would be something fun for both new and old players.

+1 for more revealing male armor
+1 for more concealing female armor
As far as heavy and medium armor goes, I’d say the majority of armor sets in game are pretty concealing.
Makes sense, it’s not like the centaurs up and stopped attacking them, if anything this may make them press even harder.
They’re not just vines, they’re parts of Mordemoth himself. Ii might be a bad idea to just go and attack one.
If there weren’t so many people fighting on the side, maybe there would be more prisons.
For a while now, I’m been melee fighting right behind/under shats left ear to do double dmg, and I get trapped in the crystal prison quite frequently.
Dragon’s Bane
“……………………………..”
A class that steals the power of the dragons and uses it against them.
:x
The longbow o_0, it’s huge and shiny.
We need more huge longbows. :o (and shiny, but I know there are some people who don’t like the shine)
Can anyone who has the longbow throw up a video of it being used in combat?
Edit: nvm, seen them on dulfy.

So you would prefer for Anet to spend time and resources to develop in-game voice chat, something they probably have never done before, so that players do not have to use third party programs that offer more flexibility and are more reliable?
I’m not asking for voice chat, I’m talking about mass party features.
Something like this
Allow someone who wishes to lead the ability to create a public mass party that people who wish to participate can join, with its own chat
Have a UI for this mass party that allows the leader to keep track of how many people are in 5 man parties, and possibly be able to view the locations of whoever the party leaders are on the map as dots. Also allow them to them the number of total players in the mass party so they know what numbers they’re working with.
^ Not saying that’s the best solution, but that’s what I mean by organizational tools.
If Anet wants to have map-wide organization be a function for reward, there needs to be actual tools for map-wide organization (ikr). I don’t understand why they wouldn’t make the tools before introducing the need for organization. O.o
There are tools.
There are tools to organize an entire map?! Wow, I guess I missed them – please show me!
/sarcasm
The only tool to try to organize a map is map chat. But that is not sufficient as is abundantly clear.
Map chat can be used to organize and has been more than enough for all content. People have created guilds to help organize future events and to make sure they have the necessary players to perform the events effectively. You have commander tags to help split up players. There’s also teamspeak, and other chat programs, to make things a little easier rather than typing.
Map chat, and creating mass guilds may be adequate for some, but Gw2 can do a lot better. Gw2 organizational tools are pretty inferior to even some post WoW mmorpgs, and teamspeak is a 3rd party tool, so I wont consider that as part of Gw2’s organizational tools.
I would compare Guild Wars 2 organizational tools to using a butter knife in place of a slot screwdriver, it works, but it’s not the ideal tool for the job.
Because they want to kill it before FE. There may be some people who make fun of the people who missed it, but most people just want to do it before FE, they’re not attempting to grief.
It’s not a farming LS, it’s permanent content that one can work toward overtime as they play on the new map.
With that said, in order to make the map more rewarding, I wish the sandstorms lasted longer, or the timer for them to occur was reduced, while making favor easier together to compensate.
Cursed shore (Though it’s recommended to join groups for mass spawn events, not hard though, just type lfg) and play as a staff guardian. If your Mf is decent, you’ll be getting so many rares you wont miss doing world bosses, unless you need dragonite.

T6/t5 mat solo farming, sadly anet seems to be slowly weeding this out. Certain areas will sometimes be stealth nerfed (to the point where you will be lucky to get 10 t5 mats in an hour) and new map mechanics, and addition to make it a very cumbersome thing to do. What I consider good is usually 10-12 t6 mats an hour + 20-30+ t5 mats. 6-12g per hour depending on how lucky you are.
Example
- Most mobs in Dry Top have a lot mat drop rate aside from breeze riders. Dust Mites are good for charged lodestones, but they are only up for a short period of time.
- megaservers. I try to wait until a world event is going on in the map so I can farm without a swarm of people around the area.
(edited by Lambent.6375)
Maybe it will be part of a new line up of champ box weapons.
:|
I usually find them on cliffs, and in cracks and crevices.
I too sold all my T6 mats before the patch because the prices were the highest since the game was released. Now some of them are going down. Apart from what Wanze said, another cause that might be helping to drive prices down a bit it’s that there’s lvl 80 inquest mobs in the map that drop Bag of Alchemical Materials which contain T6 mats.
Also JS said rencently that he was monitoring the prices of T6 mats.
@ Bag of Alchemical Materials
I tried to farm those, and like their counterparts in mount maelstrom, they’re not a common drop.
Kind of hard for people not to expect a new zone when on the front page it says, “Gates of Maguuma. Open July 1st.”
I don’t really care about a new zone though, I’m looking forward to possible surprises in tomorrows patch, like new items or something.
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Crystalline_Blade
It looks more or less the same as the original.
The original was a lot more transparent, and lighter in color.
Those are the main differences I think of when someone mentions wanting the classic Crystalline blade. (I would like the classic ver in gw2 as well)
