if you are smart you can blind the warrior or block the 8k damage. All you can do vs the ranger is reduce it to 4k and in 8 sec you have to try it again.
With the immob from elite, the pets and muddy terrain the dodge is very easy :/
At least it is a good counter to turret engis. Stay at 1500 range and pew pew pew.
Yesterday I had a 1vs2 ( I play an engi and I was fighting vs ele and thief) The longbow ranger joined the fight and the ele started 1 sec ago with churning earth. The ele was dead before he finished the cast. Thief went into stealth and after stealth he was killed in less then 2sec. PEW PEW PEW I guess the ranger had fun.
mesmer is now the favorite of the month. You should play it. Many winning team joiner switching to mesmer right now.
They should think about the balance process in general. They are sitting together and try to find some good ideas. But instead they should use the forum and the community. Many great players are available. They should start an open discussion and communicate the ideas and listen to feedback.
They didn’t test a lot of things. I guess it is more expensive to fix all the bugs now then just put a test server for the people.
Played yesterday vs 4 ranger and our guard was not able to stomp because of this bug. A ranger on point dead and the guard is not able to stomp while other ranger PEW PEW PEW us. Not very funny.
If one of the best ele player says that his class needs a nerf. Maybe ANet should take this serious.
Stab has a low priority on corrupt boon based on the thread posted above. So you can “save” your stab not beeing removed

ele and guardians should be fine I guess. I guess it is close vs warrior. And I guess it is not so easy to fear a mesmer for them because nightmare will not proc on the mesmer attack but on the attacks of his clones.

In EU this happens very often in the last days. Yesterday I pulled a ranger and he acted like an elevator. After he was done he was on a complete different location. Had more strange pulls than normal pulls. Not only ranger, also ele or necro.
Ohh well then he knockbacks you. A necro is able to fear you 4 times in a row. A warrior is able to chainstun you and a mesmer is able to daze you for ever.

I’d love to hear from ANET why they thought buffing turret engi was a good idea.
Before the turret buff the engi had a very bad gadgets, very bad turrets and hard nerfed elixirs and good kits. So they buffed turrets just to give the engi something beside kits.
I am fine if they remove the turrets or nerf them very hard but buff something else.

Last week I dropped out of the top1000. Two days later I joined soloQ on prime time and I was matched against a team with two top 10 player. It was on prime time EU (9 pm.). I am not sure why this happens.
So push a couple buttons to drop your kits then dodge around a bit = pvp skill. Really is a sad state of affairs.

I did, made and engi and started using it on skyhammer in soloq…the result? I was able to kill ppl pulling them on glass with magnet from stealth and won 3 out of 3 games in 150-200 soloq ladder with a total of 10 matches on engi (And maybe another 10 matches on first and second account)…i deleted the kittening engi right after the third win, i’d rather lose than playing that kitten since ladder has no point anyway and i don’t want to win exploiting maps, i can’t play engi..i would suck harder then someone could even imagine on other maps, but on skyhammer engi is so reterded you can actually be good even if you don’t even know kitten are you doing…so yeah go try engi on sh, if you think it’s stupid after you try it you’ll realize that is even more stupid than you think..
Play thief if you only want to pull people.
The key problem is not only the stun breaker. The problem is the combination of low HP, condi transfer, bad condition removal, no stability and bad stunbreaker. Elixir S is very good (on a 60sec cooldown) but the condis stay on you and the necro waits 3 sekittenil he attacks you once again.
Elixir gun is very good but does not give stability nor does it remove condis.
The ranger has signet of renewal for example. This pulls all condis from you and break stun or protect me. This helps to put pressure on the necro and stops the chainfear possibilities. In general has the ranger less problems with the condition bomb as the engi has

Give the people a “Give Up” Button. If 3 people from 1 team click it, the match ends.
I never give up a game (had some awesome come backs. Mostly this games make the most fun) But I have many games where some people stay afk for the rest of the match because of stupid reason (skyhammer, or first team fight lost, someone pushed far… Knockback during stomp). The people are not really afk and you will never detect it. Because they move at start or they go to a corner of the map and press autorun. And even if you detect this, they will run on the map and stay “useless”.
So give the people the give up button.
With the ele/guardian meta condis are too weak at the moment.
The golden age of pistol/pistol is over. I love the style but elementalist is very hard to kill with pistol/pistol and necro is a well known problem.

Watching your last games. You have good mobility and good surviveablity. But you make lousy damage on range.
Your build is the normal p/s build with EG instead of nades. Solid for roaming. But as you see in the last game, you can’t kill an ele by yourself (2nd game in your last twitch video). You lose to the mesmer 1vs1 (2nd game). You probably fight against a warrior for 5min if you do not get help (1st game on far) and you are not able to decap the node very easy.
You see the problem in your 2nd game. The guardian survive for >40 sec vs 3 of you?
I guess your build is fine for holding points (you are very hard to kill ) and with your mobility/stealth you are very strong to decap points and surive 1vs2. If this is your job in your team. Your build is fine.
P/P build like ArrDees current build are better in 1on1 and in team fights
ArrDees rifle build or Hibifis build (Rifle+Nades+TK+EG) have better decap possibilities and they are able to kill people faster. Even if they die more often.
But don’t get me wrong. In my point of view your build is very good. The focus of your build is to roam around and “pull” people from the other team to follow you. And this makes your build very strong. Because you can force them to fight you 2vs1 and you still are able to escape without dieing.

That is because you are #1 engi. I play also your build (different runes) but the warrior covers the node with fire and smile at me with stances and 22 stacks of might. So I have to go and cry until his stances are gone. Then I am able to pew pew
Engi is better as the ranger is. But you can’t stand vs a Hambow on point for a long time. You can kill the hambow as an engi, but you have a hard time to keep the node capped and kill the hambow.
Other classes like the ranger, ele, guard are able to stay at the node while fighting the hambow. Even if they are not able to kill him.
If you are #1 Engi NA then poor NA lol you make me laugh hahaha engi is not a powerful nodefighter never! Engi is the worst class at it! Your’re not a ranger/warrior/ele, those 3 classes are the best 1v1 node fighter in game, engi is a running 24/7 class! You running a build with no protection #6 trait in alchemy and with only bombs as stealthing skill for disingage you would just be free meal to dps classes!

engi is not the worst. But he is correct. Guardian, Warrior, ele and ranger are far better at a node as the engi is.
I have no idea why they gave the fire field such radius. Nerf the fire field radius (pvp only is fine for me) and we all are fine. To fight a warrior in his fire field is never a pleasure.
And a very tanky ele with 20+ stacks of might is also very annoying because he is a bunker with too much damage

We played a soloQ match and our team was in lead. 1 of the other team disconnected and we played 5vs4 for 1 min or something like that
One of the other team asked for someone to be afk and I agreed. I was dancing all the time until 4xx vs 3xx and then the other team got the buff and had the 3 cap. I got some angry tells from my team that I have to play. So I did.
But it was not fair against the 4 people team.

In my point of view the problem with the warrior and 3shot an ele is, that the warrior is able to have 22+ stacks of might for free. So even with hammer + cele amu the damage is awesome. 1 mistake from the ele and the warrior wins.

The changes will not help not to die vs a necro. From my poiont o fview it is great that they care about the FT on engi. Also the turret nerf is fine. But that Elixir C is not a stun break is a no go for me.

If they touch IP than the condi engi is dead. It is already impossible to kill condi necro and very hard to kill ele. Without IP we cannot kill ele and we become weak in Team fights vor in fights against the warrior

Condi engi is fine against s/d thiefs.
Eles are always a problem. Many Ele builds have tons of condition removals and they have better mobility so they reset a fight. A fight vs an ele is hard for the engi.
