Reduced gem cost wont encurage players to play
The new pve map is like a kick in the teeth to wvw players. They have told us for over a year that it takes to long to make new maps, but they come out with a map, that with a little work, would be great for wvw.

I think the problems started with the ranger cdi.
We all know there was thousands of good posts, ideas but nothing happened for a year. Now rangers got one skill boost and some polish. Nothing happened with the core problem (pets)
Transfer cost is a very little part of the problem.
I think every server have the capacity to fill every map with players, but the players have no reason to play. Now pvp is way more revarded as wvw and pve… We all know: if you want money farm the actual new living story content and thats all.
We just run again and again on the same maps for the nothing. No gold, no achi, no title, no fancy loots.
You should not be able to stealth in line of sight

Guild raids are not the best idea. Little guilds cant do it or if it have a small player cap bug guilds cant enjoy the raid.
Or maybe they could be scaling dungeons
Thief is op in wvw roaming. If you are not kitten impossible to lose. Maybe you not win but never die

A tower deffense/dota game mode would be awesome in guild halls (+gvg ofc)
Our actual achis are… We all know whats the matter. Maybe its a very hard thing to repair.
But with the upcoming ppk system what if anet give us new titles?
My idea is a warscore counter. Points in your title track after every point what you made for your realm. Doly kill, sentry, stomp and normal kill after update.
For the ppk: sometimes we fight in a full upgraded thing close to the spawn. I gain 200 kills but we must to retreat because the enemy just come and come and finaly they win. Now maybe they win but we will gain as much pont as the objective makes within hours because we killed hundreds.
Quality over quantity? Yes pls

a seed thingy what sylvaris use at the pale tree to travel?

Now the fights are just waste of time if you go for points. You must to avoid all the fights and ninja cap, siege up and sit in towers. Zerg buster guilds just hurt the server atm. They are not going for ppt just wasting of places on borders.

1: The ability for guild members to be able to show of their prowess and achievements through Guild Halls and their own avatar customization.
2: The ability for players to work together in a fun way to build something different and exciting.

And we want to do things! GvG, other new game modes as tower deffense, survive the vawes of monsters etc…
1: add body block to break blobbing
2: supply camps should work as the ruins. Hold them for upgrading and capture to downgrade. There are 6 camps on a border. Cap 1 for walls, second for oils, 3rd gates, 4th cannon, 5th iron walls, 6th full upgrade (or something like this)
3: maximalize the number of sieges in an objective. 9ac 2 trebs, 2 catas and 3 ballistas in a normal tower is insane and boring. No good fights.
4: less ppt and points for killing (and extra points for stomping if you have bloodlust) now the best way to win is avoid fights, cap, siege and slow down enemy. There is no reason to fight.
Players are not motivated to play wvw.
I think every servers have the population to fill wvw places but players dont want to play. 20-40 silver for a good food (half hour) and 10-30 silvers for oil/stone/chrystal what is 30-60 mins? Pay for upgrade?
I see they changed the drop rates (more exo but less less rares) but there is safer and faster money making methods. Dungeons are 10-20 minutes and make 1.5g+

While we didn’t get a huge amount of ANet feedback and not everyone got what they wanted, I think the last big patch contained a lot of evidence that they did read that thread and addresses some of the issues raised in it fairly well, specifically by eliminating the need for Signet of the Beastmaster and making longbow power builds viable in WvW.
Rangers are still just a fun class.
When you decide to make a legendary: check wvw and tag all the points what you can and go back to pve farm. Tomorrow check wvw again and visit some more. Repeat. Wvw map comp only hard if you want to do it one night.

Well… Wvw is not rewarding. We play for the nothing. No titles, no achivements, no skins… Eotm ktrain 3x more rewarding as real wvw…

Siting in trebs and catas is not fun. Sieging an abandoned paper tower with a full zerg is just 2 minutes but try to take a t3 keep fully sieged and defended by a zoneblob. 1-2 hours of facerubing what is boring too.
And if you want epic siege against lord and minions (what is pve) go and play fractals, there is a siege map.
I still think the problem is not the number of points but the towers itself. Avoid fights, build sieges, upgrade, ninja cap enemy objects. Not fun at all. Give a bag of points is not a sollution. Lets check what is the fun and give points for that. What to do with sieges if the towers arent the only target? Make new, open field sieges. Flame throwers, razzor golems, force field generators and a bunch of other mobile or portable stuff
Balance the point system is just one thing. 1-2 hours of boredom of pvd to get in an upgraded object is an other thing
Now there is too much pvd.
Its very annoying when your own spawn tower is upgraded to t3 and full of with sieges.
My ideas:
1: upgrades should work as ruins: hold x supply camp for y seconds to upgrade/downgrade towers/keeps/garrisons
2: Less points for objectives and a fix amount of points for kills (and bonus for stomping ofc)

Now you cant siege a garrison, just facerub it. If they have supply and the gates are upgraded it takes 1 hour just hit tha gate and healing. Boring, no fun at all

And one more: when your prime time starting and you see your own spawn tower is upgraded to t3… Thats discouraging. Fighting an hour just to own one thing is not fun. Tower/keep/garri upgrades should work as bloodlust. Keep x supply camp for x time and your things will be tier x.
T3 objects are totaly ruining everything because this siege dissabler. Befor that trick it was realy hard, but now…
Btw i think upfilling the maps is 1 sollution, and changing the point system is an other good one
More less points for pvd and a fix amount for killing a player +x if you stomp. Big zergs still have the advantage, but zerg busting guilds now make a difference. (And fighting is more fun as protecting a door)

Open guild halls just a pain in my charrs tail. No enough for everyone, no enough space etc…
In instanced ghs you can change/modify things, there is place for minigames, game modes (i want dota and survive the vawes sooo badly beside the gvg)
Costumizable ghs also a nice idea. There should be paths where you cant add/remove anything (as you cant place sieges everywhere) but everywhere elso you should add trees, bushes, statues, asura gates etc
I won’t go through all the details, I will let others who are more passionate on the subject do that. I would like to mention this though:
When designing guild halls, don’t just make a place guild members hang out. Make them GvG maps, as in GW1. Even if initially there is no GvG, at least think ahead for GvG when designing them.
We will have a CDI phase on GvG.

This step in, step out thing is just bad. The class mechanik is the stealth for thieves.
Rangers and thieves need a big overhaul. If somebody is in stealth other players should see them a very little.
Or maybe let them to go invisible 1-2 times in a fight and give them a tricky fight mechanism. Something like ranger sword/dagger
For rangers: walking spirits: 6 points in vitality. Fast arrows: 6 on power. 3 sec stun from gs: 6 points on crit etc
Siege disabler help big zergs. They leftbehind 2 players with 50 supply and easyli defend a tower while the big zerg cap something and walk back to pwn the smaller team

Axe/axe is not an ace/ace for wvw. Good if your server just faceroll the others and you just tag as much as possible. I suggest gs or s/wh or s/t for second. With bloodlust/energy
Horn only good for spike builds. #5 for boons, change weapon and smash. Its a slow, low dmg weapon without any special. Everybody always have swiftness, furry and 1 stack might is just lol. The birds are annoying but nothing else
Ranger is still the easyest to beat class, just got one good skill what can be dodged because that have a 2 and a half second cast time. If you cant react on a that long skill pls never drive in real life. Normal human reaction time is 0.2 second what is 12x less as the cast time of RF. So if you are not brain dead you can react after the first and befor the second hit
How does that factor in with ping? Average ping would be .1 so by time it comes to your computer its probably at the .2 or .3 mark. Then your .2 reaction. So by time you dodge you find yourself copping a great deal of it. If you are an overseas customer you are catching most of it before you can do anything. So the skill in its current form is not ‘fair’ and needs some sort of cast time.
Its not a trading card game. If you play ANY game where players kill players you need good reaction and low ping. In gw1 as an interrupt ranger/mesmer you could interrupt a 3/4 cast time skill with a 1/2 cast time interrupt while doing 3 more things. 2 and a half seconds just lol. If you couldnt interrupt something with 1 second you was a bad player and mostly got kick if you missed something with 2 seconds
