I think reset should be available for 1-200 badges
Full pvt warrior with energy sigils. Sword/shield + gs double endure pain, doly sig, balanced+defiant stance + traited stability. Melandru runes+ condi food.
0/0/6/5/3 traits. If you die with that build you deserve it. When we fight against pug zergs i always se a dozen of this escape guys

Better experiment arenanet could do would be to hide the score for a while. See how that pans out.
No more looking at a scoreboard when you are thinking of fighting. Not knowing how far, or even if, you are ahead. So you might want to keep fighting.
Not knowing how the score is currently set makes it harder to strike underhanded deals, where two servers team up to fix the outcome of the match.Lets try that for a month or two.
That could be awesome! And maybe -X% health for gates, walls
Btw since the changes we fight and kill more and more. Mostly 500-1k+ kills a night. The only problem is the long, boring sieges against fully upgraded and sieged objects.
10 men man the sieges, everybody else just wait for 30 minutes or more… Not funny at all
What if you divided your total number of kills by your rank.
For me that’s an average of (rounded to the nearest whole number) 54 kills per world rank. I’m pretty sure there’s people out there with many more kills to rank ratio than myself.

Most of the time rank shows not too much, but if you and 20 of your friends decide to try this wvw thing dont attack 20 gold-platinum guys
I think the problem with the ppt is the next: very hard to siege a t3 tower with sieges. Its just not fun. Runing up and back for hours…. 10-20 minits more than enough if its intensive
In wvw if you are a ranger, you are the first target and you dont have the escape ability of a mesmer, ele or a thief. You will die as soon your stone signet is over.
If i random zerging with my ranger there are minimum 3 snipers try to hunt you down like crazy.
If i roam with some of my friends the situation is the same. All of the thieves and mesmers, eles jump in my face.
And if i play with my guild with my gua, we also hunt down rangers first because its an easy kill. But true… Sometimes we kill necros first, because they are dangerous not as a ranger

Ppk is good:
A 25 men organized guild team easyli take down an 80 men pug zerg without losing anybody. Maybe the guild cant take the tower but they wipe the outrushing defenders 2-3 times
No white swords good:
While main team fights the 5-10 men teams can take objectives
And somewhy since the sneak attack i see and experience more fights around towers what is great!
Piken is a guild server but way not full…

Btw rapid fire is not a burst skill. If you cant evaid a 2.5 sec skill… Go and play helo kitty online

No downed state. Sieges can be used and damaged by anyone. Sieges hit everybody, friend or foe. Sieges cant damage through gate.
Gua is an excelent choice! Always welcome in wvw, pvp and pve. You can play it as a zerg fighter and as a roamer.
My suggestion: lvl to 80, check the net for a build (use metabattle for example), gear up in exotic and dont fear the lose. You will fight against more experienced players whos know all of your skills and you wont know any of them.
Pick ele, warr, gua
If you want to play in BIG teams pick warrior or guardian. Most servers need them as hell. If you want to play alone ore with 1 or 2 friends use thief or mesmer. There is a lack of necros, eles in HC wvw guilds, but first you must to prove yourself what is very hard, because there are a lot of casual nec, ele
Roles: warrior: dps/tank/cc/heal/support
Gua: support/heal/dps/tank/cc
Ele: heal/dps/cc/support
Nec: dps/cc/support
Mesmer: put veil
In roaming (solo wvw gameplay)
Warr: melee chopchop or condition tank and escape master
Ele: good in everything. Facehuger kitten + escape
Gua: facehug burning kitten
Nec: condition, fear but (nearly) 0 escape
Thief: kitten invisible facehuger with ultimate escape. Can be condi or dps
Mesmer: cloning fuker, nearly as anoying the thief. Can be dps or condition
Engi: need to be very skilled to play this clasd
Ranger: everybody want to kill you first. Good in nothing. High risk, low reward. Good against very new players with “random” evaid sword or with 1500 range longbow
I still think this event is the best what happened after culling removal. Keep this and add more and more things every months!

Btw the 90 of the cheats happen when you solo roam. Dissapearing downed bodys without any loot or xp, teleporting enemys etc
Wvw dont need npc events and things like this. Its not pve. We need players on the map.
I can image 2 sollution: atract more players with rewards, events etc…
Megaserver wvw but not like in pve. Players chose a guild every week and next week they play wvw on the guilds server. The game dish out guilds on every reset depends on something warscore. Best guild on server 1, second on server 2 etc

If thief is that bad why 3 of 5 roamers are thieves?
They made but not activated a wvw trait. When you stomp somebody that force to spawn that dude.

What i can image is a fix wxp part and a bonus what is shared. Example 30 wxp for kill and 100 bonus if you kill the enemy alone. Divide it between everybody who tagged the target. I can image something similar with objectives. If a 10 men team capture the garrison thats a nice ninja but if a full zone blob dont gain just maybe the 3rd of it.
I like the white sword removal and i think sentrys should report enemys as eotm radar thingy
As a sylvari i use cultural-ta armor mix with cultural gs and kudzu + yellow flower backpack. Looks like a walking flower garden (and i wear a kodan mask just for fun)

Megablobs just facerolled everything with or without white sword and sent back 1 people to check whites. Now little teams have a chance.
Remove xp from wvw and add tomes for badges!
The ele meta is soldiers with some berserker trinkets. You can kill a full glass ele in a single hit.
McWolfy I think you may be on the wrong forum; you have post after post demonstrating you don’t understand anything about rangers other than they can use bears as pets.
Than tell me. If ranger is that supergood why noone use them in meta play?
Good idea, but i think players should assign to a guild and guilds should dish out to realms depend on something score system
Karma trainings is a lot easier now but that was the exact opposite of what we wanted. We wanted defending to become easier than attacking – siege disablers and their recent nerfs are 2 steps in the right direction, PPK is another 2 steps forward. The removal of white swords is like 5 steps back. 2 good changes with 1 mega bad change.
We wanted tools to lower populated servers. Siege disabler was useful for big servers but this changes gives a chance to the little ones. 5 men nearly cap as fast kitten and if they siege up and sit in the tower as sfr? Roaming teams can capture everything and if they rush out thats just more free points.
This is a good change for the good fighter guilds

Gua f1-f3 skills and shout (and gs4)give retal. Every mediocare team have perma retal
For chill necro and ele are enough and they have aoe and spike capaciti + fields and a lot more spammable cc and survive. Ranger is an easy to spot thing and have much less survive as a zerker ele or necro
Scouting? Everybody can sit in a tower.
Scouting after a team? Thief and steath spam

Now the good fighter guilds are important. Who cares a tower if you can kill 50 people

If you gain loot after kills and not ktraining ther wont be any problem. High risk high reward.
Wvw players need a lot of money for equickments. Wvw runes are 6-10 golds mostly sigilsare 5 golds or more. The pve meta is the same. Zerk and max dmg sigs/runes. In wvw nearly every guild ask for something different and if the meta changes you can salvage your items. Wait… You cant salvage them.
Food and oils/stones are money. A lot of money. And you make max 5-10 golds a night if you are lucky (+200% mf)
Thats what i miss. Do more, gain more. Did I kill 5k players in this matchup? Give me a lot of things to open!
I think this ppt thing is one of the best thing what happened with wvw since launch (close after the culling improvements)
Btw if you want fun try a cavalier rifle/sword+wh build. Ride the zerg with your high armor and if you see a low hp swap and finish him with a killshot (put iq rune in it for 100%crit)
Sword+gs is a common roamer build but not the most effective in zerg because you are rooted with 100b
We like the changes. 1k kills in 2.5 hours, not that bad loot and a tome of knowledge.
