This is a good question that would be nice to have answered before any market action is taken on minis.
Are these new achievements achievable again for new AP, will people that have finished them grandfather into the new achievements and just not have the minis unlocked if they already sold them, or will AP actually be lost if we collected them and sold them after the achievement was completed?
Personally, I think the most fair thing to do would be to grandfather people with the achievements into the new ones with the same AP, but if they have sold them not have them available in the wardrobe.
On the flip side, wouldn’t mind collecting them again for new AP.
But, it would be upsetting if people would lose AP for not having them any more since this was something nobody knew about or could predict.

I lead a casual PvX Yak’s Bend guild that is currently looking for new players like you to balance out our veteran base. We have much to offer new players as far as advice and in game assistance goes. You can read more about us on our most recent recruitment post.
Good luck on your search for a guild and I hope to hear from you soon.

Hello Animal InstinctZ,
I lead a PvX guild in Yak’s Bend that is currently recruiting, we lean more towards PvE but do have players that also enjoy sPvP and WvW. I know we are not on your home server but you are welcome to come try us out. For more information you can check out our most recent recruit thread.
If you have any questions or would like a invite, please contact me in game.
Good luck on your search for a guild,
-Mireles
Hello NevynZeddicus,
I lead an adult guild on Yak’s Bend that is a PvX guild with a heavier emphasis on PvE. We are a casual bunch with a focus on having fun. We don’t take the game to serious as the point people would start insulting each other, but we do joke around alot in the spirit of humor.
We are most active in the afternoon between the hours of 6pm and 11pm Central time but have members online all hours of the night up to about 3am.
We do not require members to sPvP and WvW with the members that enjoy it but we will be more than happy to show you the ropes and offer advice in these areas as well as any assistance you would need in PvE.
If you wish to know more of the basics about us you can refer to our most recent recruitment post.
Wish you the best of luck in your search for the right guild. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you might have.
Thank you for your consideration,
Mireles
Hello Oofta,
It sounds like you are describing my Yak’s Bend Guild.
We do guild missions every week on Friday nights as to avoid the over crowded servers on Saturday, but may move back to Saturdays after the guild missions server update after September 9th. We have been doing this missions every week for over a year and a half without fail.
We do not require 100% rep for our entry rank, and for the ranks that require it we do make exceptions and have a system in place for persons with personal guild banks.
We pretty much dabble in everything and don’t have any requirements on how you should spend your time in our guild.
We are a fairly casual and laid back bunch. We have been in this game since the beginning and still know how to get things done.
For more information you can refer to our recruitment post.
Thanks, and I hope to hear from you soon.

There are logical reasons people don’t rez fully dead players right away.
It takes much longer to rez someone from death in combat than out of combat.
There is a waypoint near by, use it.
When rezzing it moves you to the top of the aggro target order in PvE and can get you killed in WvW. It makes you vulnerable and a prime target.
It could cost you a capture reward because it takes to long to rez you.
A dead player not only takes away the damage and ups the scale of an event the dead should have been carrying, it also takes away the persons rezing damage and/or scale they should be carrying as well.
I do my best to bring players out of downed state when I seem them because it is time cost effective. But if your dead, there is supposed to be a penalty associated with that, it is since-less to expect people to go out of their way and possibly lose out for it as well.
Bumping our recruitment thread. The past 9 days we have added 7 new members to our community. All are welcome. Please feel free to contact me in-game at any time.
You are not the only one, but I am disappointed for different reasons.
Anet has so much wasted potential in the game. The game not even come close to living up to the legacy of its predecessor in terms of producing immersive content.
Just compare what we got in Guild Wars 1 between its September 2005 release and its final release of EoTN in August of 2007. In 2 years we had 3 worlds and a expanded first world. We had 4 PvP modes, 4 new classes, missions hard and normal mode, three end game pve zones, a hand full of dungeons, and plenty of accomplishments and gear to earn. In edition to regular seasonal events. Yes we had to pay for each expansion but at this point, I am willing to shell out 50 bucks for some serious content for Guild Wars 2.
Now look at what we have in Guild Wars 2 in this moment in terms of content. We have 1 world with only 2 new zones to explore, the map had expanded very little. We have 2 PvP modes WvW and sPvP conquest, nothing besides EotM has changed here in 2 years. We have the same personal story with 1 mode and a development of a second living story that is permanent. We have 1 end game pve mode FotM mode and 2 raid like events. We still have the same dungeons we did at release with 1 path added. Very little content… in the scope of two years the game has very little to show for it. Yes we have living story 1, but that has come and gone never to come back.
The game can not survive on just convenience features, players do not say because leveling is so easy, or because change the color on my commander tag, or dress up was made so easy. The game needs more content than it needs frilly features if it is going to retain players beyond when they are done leveling. Do it via expansions, 2 weeks updates, it doesn’t really matter, just do it. When it was implied in that interview that the only dungeon path we got was too much work, it seriously made me worry that Anet is after whats easy and a quick buck instead of making a great game. It will take work to make a great game.
In my personal experience the game is dying hard. I am seeing member age out 3-6 months of offline time. Newcomers that I recruit get recruited log on a few times, then never again for another month. People that reach 80 constantly ask me what is there to do when you reach 80. If they are not interested in WvW or PvP content, they stop logging soon after. Please direct your focus to more content and expanding the Guild Wars 2 world Anet. It is getting smaller by the day.
(edited by Mireles Lore.5942)
My favorite part was…..
“These changes should help new players and veterans alike get more out of their leveling experience in Guild Wars 2.”
Yeah, because after 2 years there are so many veterans still leveling characters. Here I thought that they were going to finally get around to bringing jeweler and cooking up to par with the rest of the crafting professions. Nope, just some low level stuffs that those of use not level character will never use.
This feature patch has turned into a huge disappointment. This has me scared to death what tomorrow’s “fresh start” blog post will be. What exactly are they going to reset?
I am starting to wonder if it isn’t just me….
But has anyone noticed that this game’s projectiles are just wonky and buggy sometimes, especially the slow moving ones?
I seem to get obstructed projectiles when clearly there isn’t anything in the way. Also out of range when they are clearly in range of your attacks, but these may be just stray on slow moving projectiles.
I can’t seem to reliability recreate the circumstances so I haven’t been able to take any screenshots. I am just tired of being obstructed by things that are not there and it changing results in the game.
I think it should take all in favor vote to kick someone. If the person is really messing up that bad, it would be apparent to all 4 of the other members members that they should be kicked. This would reduce the ability of guild majority parties to kick 2 or 3 people to bring in their friends for the final reward down to just 1 person.
TIL
I have over 151 followers…. Never looked at this list until now, people I’d like to speak with are on my friends list.
Is e-stalking really a thing on here? I think it should be like Guild Wars 1 where you cant tell where that person is at unless they have friend-ed you as well.
As for the block issue.. Why would you want to block people that are not bothering you just because they are on another server? Serious question, just curious to know. It seems like you are using this list in a way that wasn’t exactly intended.
Love the new birthday blaster….
But seriously Anet… what are we supposed to do with more experience scrolls?
Info page for 8/22
With the appearance of the Birthday Vendor in LA, I’m assuming a new Title and perhaps some form of token to exchange with the vendor for your choice from a selection of items. That way you wont end up with 12 mini Queenies like last year!!!
I hope its more queen jennas and they are the new token currency for the birthday vendor… lolz
Summary:
XHSA is currently looking for new members. We are a 10 year old guild that has been in Guild Wars since the very beginning. We are focusing our recruitment for players that are new comers to the game as most of our current membership are veteran members that have been in the game since it came out, but we will accept membership from anyone willing to join. We believe it is most healthy for a guild roster to have both new and old members as there are more activities and goals to accomplish together.
We are very helpful to new members, offering advice and knowledge to better help achieve their goals. While we like to be helpful, we feel it is important for players to progress through the game naturally. We will not pressure you into being rushed through the game but are merely here to answer your questions, share our knowledge on the most effective methods to accomplish the goals of your choosing, and offer in-game assistance when you want it.
Some Quick info about us.
Server: Yak’s Bend
Roster Count: 150+ members (112 in Full Representation)
Peak Hours: 7PM – 11PM CDT (20+ online and representing during these hours)
Minimum joining requirements: The only requirement we have of new members is that they log on at-least once a month and rep regularly during the time they spend online. We do not require you to be on Yak’s Bend for PvE but will be needed if you want to WvW with us. (full rep not required)
To request an invite please send me an in-game mail on Mireles Lore.5942
What We Have To Offer:
We offer a helpful community that focuses on building relationships with newcomers and veterans alike by helping them become more effective at accomplish their goals as well as fostering a casual zero discrimination gaming environment. We do not exclude members from dungeons, fractals, or WvW runs based on experience, rank, stats, class, build, gear, or anything else. If you meet the minimum level requirements set by the game the runs are on a first come, first serve basis. If needed we will happily educate you on how to be effective for the activity in question.
We also host community events. Our most popular and consistent are guild missions every Friday around server reset. We also host jumping puzzle trains, raid-like world boss runs, and the living story chapters. Some will be open to the public as this is a guild that likes to give back to the public community.
We do have global guild buffs for as long as you are representing. We offer increased gold, magic, and gathering rates 24 hours a day 7 days a week. In edition to these during Saturday decreased way-points costs and increased WvW exp gain will be active all day.
We also have a very active teamspeak. We strongly suggest the use of teamspeak for most of our runs as it is the most effective means to communicate directions in and out of combat. We also encourage it for just social use as it helps bring a more immersive social experience.
Quality over Quantity Membership:
Here at XHSA we take pride in keeping our roster active and clean. So you can expect that our roster is not inflated with people not active in this guild. We keep remove people that do not represent often or have become inactive in the game. What you see is what you actually get. While we do take pride in keeping our roster clean. Members returning from inactivity are always welcome back.
This is not an alt “join it and forget it until guild events” guild. New members (Initiates) are expected to represent regularly during the time they spend online. Initiates are checked every month for activity and are removed every month if they have not logged on and represented within the last monthly check, or are seen online and excessively not representing for the vast majority of time they spend online.
We do offer guests invites to nearly all of our events and welcome repeat guests, so please keep this in mind when considering our guild. We also offer longer inactive tolerance and increased privileges for members that have pledged and maintained 100% representation. Currently over 75% active members are 100% representation members a ratio we try to maintain. (3 and 6 months of offline time for Agents and Special Agents respectfully)
We will not try to impose 100% rep obligation upon you, it is our belief that if we provide a superior gaming experience members will pledge this on their own.
If you have any questions or wish to join, best way to reach me is in-game on Mireles Lore.5942

If they didn’t charge extra for the colors, and just increased the price, everyone would buy it now for 100 gold, get all the colors after the patch, and the price increase would be rendered pointless. I know you guys say that you need colors to coordinate, but you seem to be doing okay now. Why are colors essential? I get that they’re nice to have, but essential?
I think the better question is…
Why make a feature that has the purpose of improving the ease coordination then put a huge money barrier in front of it to the point most commanders would not use it?
It just seems very counter productive if the features purpose is to improve the coordination of commanders and the player base and make it to where you have to pay upwards of 1000+ gold to make full use of that feature.
I could be mistaken about the purpose, it could just be a huge money sink to deflate the economy. But, this is not the purpose most players wanted color coded commanders.
Thank you,
Wow…
For 300g I think ill just stay blue and have people deal with it when I’m commanding.
Here I thought this feature was to make things easier on commanders and organizing players.. not burden them with a gold sink to even make use of the feature.
Totally defeats the purpose if 3 commanders that own the same color are commanding at the same time and are locked into the same color. Does nobody at Anet actually play the game or think things through?
Really what is the point of the feature if commanders cant switch colors easily to fit the current situation?
(edited by Mireles Lore.5942)
Have we confirmed that new colors will come at a additional cost?
Yes, 300 gold per color.
Do you have a source I can look at?
Have we confirmed that new colors will come at a additional cost?
Am I misunderstanding something? Don’t you have to be physically in the tournament as well for a chance to win and get the reward?
Yes,
Also travel, sponsorship, and real world money obligations. People that say “skill based” and “git gud and climb the ranks” are trolls that really have no idea what they are talking about. Anet isn’t paying for these people to fly to all these countries. This armor will be out of reach for 99.99% of players no matter how hard you pvp at home.
That being said. I am sure that its the same armor everyone will be able to earn on the track but with some kind of effect or trim added to it, and you will probably never see these people in game. I don’t think Anet would expense the resources to make a totally different armor for such a small small fraction of their audience, but I guess we will see.
I really hope they plan to add a in-game tournament system and a leaderboard that actually measures something.
you know what? You’re right. I bet those people didnt just pick up the game and start playing it like everyone else in the world. They just complained really Hard and ANET felt bad for them and invited them to super elite special tournaments so they could have a chance at the best shiny pixels in a video game. Grow up kid. Not everything is gonna be handed to you just cus you dont feel like putting in the effort.
Go ahead call me a troll now. I’ll be ok
I am not expecting it to be handed to me. I don’t even care that this armor exists or that I wont have it. For the people that earn it, good for them, they put in the time, the money, and traveled, and won to earn it. I am not trying to get anet to change their mind on the requirements. I am just trying to get people to realize there is much much more to even participating in tournaments than “gettin good”. This is not a “skill based” reward because there much more than skill required. It is an eSports exclusive reward because it is gated behind tournaments most of us don’t have the time or money to participate in.
Telling people to “git good” is juvenile when you have to commit real money resources and time to travel to locations across the globe. “Git good” is the most trivial part, there are many people very skilled at PvP that have the skill but don’t have the time or the money to participate. You have to also seek sponsorship. Expend real money to meet obligations. And be able to put whatever that is going on in your life on pause to travel to other countries to even participate. So yes, when you tell people to “git gud and climb the ranks”, you are being juvenile because there is much more to it than that.
So continue to make assumptions on things you know nothing about, or personally attack me to try to invalidate what I said, troll. It is what it is. An eSports exclusive reward not skill based reward. Nothing wrong with that, but it is what it is.
What in the world are you talking about? I don’t participate in PvP…but I am pretty sure you don’t have to travel to play it. You also don’t have to travel to get into the tournaments….they happen in the game. And I DO believe that these guys who win these tournaments DO deserve to get something special for it. I will look upon it jealously, because I am not good at PvP…but I will also look on the guy who has it with some respect…because they earned it.
Yes you do have to travel to participate. The world tournament series will occur in Beijing, China.
And your right, the do deserve something special for it. But its just ridiculous to say that any guild wars 2 player can win if the just get good. You have to hurdle the money and the travel gate first. Then your skill is tested.

Why do the Elitists like to throw around “Git-Gud” like it will somehow invalidate any arguments to the contrary. Let’s face it, the exclusive set will probably just be particle-effects, but none-the-less maybe that’s something that a good player wants to work for. Except lets paint this with some truth. They will never obtain it. So far the tournaments have been locked behind conventions and physical money obligations. There are players even better then those that are currently in the running, hundreds of times better. They however do not have the sort of cashflow that the current esports teams have. Let alone the ability to fly overseas to participate in these current running. So the term git-gud does not apply. Being the top player in the world does not net you the set. In fact it Net’s you nothing but a chance(If you have the money) to participate to get the set. So lets call it what this is, its Pay to wear armor. Yes you have to have some skill, but you need a lot of money too. How this is “good for the PVP” community I am unsure. I’m all for competitive rewards, but lets not pretend that this reward is in anyway completely related to skill when money does factor in a lot. Anet is not paying these E sport’s fanatics to fly over to Germany. Again, all for really competitive things. But people should stop throwing around the git-gud argument. It makes them look juvenile.
This right here,
I was going to explain that “get good” really has little to do with participating in a tournament. Its about money, its about sponsorship, its about taking time out of your life to travel. People just like to feel like they are better than others without actually knowing what they are talking about when they say “git gud”.
Honestly though, don’t mind to much there are special tourny items most of us will never see in game. It is most likely just some added effect or trim to the armor they are already releasing on the normal track. I really don’t think Anet would expense the resources to design a completely different set of armor for the smallest fraction of its audience, but i guess we will see.
Hope they add a in game tournament system and a leaderboard that actually measures something.

Thousands….
How much exactly depends how deep in trades I am….
Agreed.
When waiting to do another attempt takes longer than that attempt. It gets old quick. Please add a npc to let us jump strait into fights after the first completion.
They look okay when you are up close looking at them I guess.
But when I first saw people with them from a few feet away, It looked like my GPU didn’t load a texture rather than a cool skin. Yes, I play with my graphics all the way up. They don’t do the chaos axe from GW1 any justice. Plus you could dye those.
As an ANet developer just mentioned in a wvw thread, do not delete this stuff, as they’re coming out with new things to use it on!!
Honestly, I dont even care if they will be important later. Because of how easy it is to get them.
Then I and many others who were told there will never any other use for it would like some compensation.
By who?
I have 2 characters with nearly 8 20 slot bags filled with em each. When they get full they will be 80 stacks of dust and 40 stacks of shards and ore.
I will be forced to start refining at this point as other characters are storing investment items. I still have hopes they will come out with ascended food and utility to use this stuff on besides the current toxic ones.
I think when you get that specific, dailies can easily become a chore list as there is nothing really challenging about them. They are just narrowed dailies, thats not fun.
I like that I can get all 12 objectives with 3 matches of PvP and a hour or two of WvW most days because they reward me for doing the activities I enjoy every day. I think this was Anet’s intent.
It would be nice to have a “daily challenge” that directed you to complete a specific jumping puzzle, dungeon, or boss event.

lol @ professional player…
GW is serious business y’all gotta be professional….
I only /laugh when I or my roaming group win a outnumbered or one sided fight I/we should have certainly lost or when someone goes out of their way to engage me/us and gets beat when I/we had no interest in fighting them….
Example: We were once fighting an enemy group from server A while enemy group server B stood and watched it go on and jumped in just as we server A was mostly downed and being beat. I assume it was to get us both…. we killed both servers… Server A group fought well but Server B group players were bad and they should feel bad for not getting us.
Taunts happen, both giving and receiving….. If you just remember its just a game it shouldn’t be a big deal.
They already have the jeweler ascended material in the game already. You can view it in your materials bank tab with your other ascended materials as well.
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Xunlai_Electrum_Ingot
So its not really a question of if it will come but when. The game code, when copy and pasted into chat, indicates that it will use silver, gold, and platinum to refine this material just like the materials of other professions.
There has also been some rumors that legendary trinkets will be added to the game based on some in-game comment by a moderator…. I’ve seen the screenshot on gw2 reddit but do not know the source link.

Sorry about last week. I went on a camping trip and didn’t make a public listing. Even if you don’t see a listing and I am away, there is always one of us hosting. Please be sure to try to contact my 2nd in command listed in the info page if you don’t get a reply from me.
I have 3 complaints about the new achievements.
Its dumb that you can not get them your first run though. As someone that always has 4 guildies with me when I do it the first time, we would get most achievements the first run through. I don’t understand why we have to be made to repeat the story for the sake of repeating it.
Repeated dialog and delay on retry. While there is nothing wrong with achievements you can fail at and have to retry. It does get annoying when you have to get through dialog and fluff before you can try again. Can we structure repeating the story in a way that skips dialog or restarts a boss fight?
The last is mutually exclusive objectives. It just makes things kind of tedious and awkward to have to do beat things two opposite ways, forcing people to repeat it. One way is usually challenging and the other is failing or avoiding that challenge. Can’t we be more creative than this? Personally, I like to test my skill to see if I can get am all done at once and be done with it.

Here is my experience with getting this cheeve after the 1st patch on the 29th…
I had to do this one 3 times over solo for some reason…
On the experience I got this achievement the following happened…
Upon rescuing the caravan in the cave…
The start triggering NPC would not talk to me. I assume because it was soon after combat as her health bar was not regenerating. As soon as I exited and re-entered the cave with her targeted and saw that she was regenerating afterwards she talked to me. (This part may not matter)
I immediately went to the tower location with the 3 npcs near the wooden tower to rescue. I only saw two there, as I did not know that one camped on top of the watch tower above, which was different from my previous attempts. I talk/rescued two that were on ground level, proceeded to the norn that transforms and rescued/talked him, then the two up the hill in the cave, and then the north of the river stream. As I searched for the 7th I noticed that he was still up in the tower where the first two were. Upon talking to him I immediately got the achievement. He did not have to run back.
So I assume that not all NPCs have to run back to hallow before getting this achievement.
The code for this seems to be poorly written. There is no indicator to let you know how many survivors are rescued, nor are the conditions/order of this achievement are reliable upon completion.
I hope this helps with a bug fix or completion for some players.
I run ham/bow with knights armor in dungeons and fractals even though I know better.
I just can’t take asurans seriously, Its like I’m fighting a build-a-bear.
The fact that you can Michael Phelps it across a lake in full metal armor in this game still kinda bothers me.
I pretend that Mire Waypoint and the Mire Sea were named after me.
I love the map skyhammer, and love to camp the hammer room with “fear me” and “stomp”. Even though it doesn’t help my team win sometimes.
I go to great effort to camp in between zergs and home waypoints just to pick off some poor low levels just trying to get to the K-train on the other side of the map in EoTM. I know its unfair and cruel. I just like their futile attempts to flee.
In the buff.
I think scarlet was a great villain. Everyone hated her and wanted her to die.
Marjory > Kasmeer.
I probably like my 2nd in command more than I should for having met them in a video game.
I harbor probably the biggest troll in Yak’s Bend in my guild. Not because nobody else would take him or that hes a good and helpful player deep down, but because I like to watch him kitten people off that take this game way to seriously and have big but fragile egos. If you are in yaks bend and have met him, you know exactly who this kitten hat is. Yes, we know his a kitten and lambaste him on a regular basis.

Our most popular and consistent are guild missions every Saturday around server reset. We also host jumping puzzle trains, raid-like world boss runs, and certain raid like Living Story events.
What you see is what you actually get.
Thank you for your interest and time, we look forward to serving those that wish to join us.

As someone that has nearly 18k AP…
AP doesn’t mean jack squat other than how much content you completed, how diversified your game play is, and how often you play.
I always laugh when I see people require a minimum AP for anything such as speed runs…. for someone like myself that doesn’t have a clue how to speed run any dungeon because its not my cup of tea, would easily meet that requirement a few times over and not have the path memorized like they would expect.
It is not a measurement of skill or grasp of mechanics in any way what so ever. You can be totally terrible at this game and have as much or more AP as I do. With the exception of maybe a few cheeves like the gauntlet ones and SAB. Achievements are very trivial hoops to jump through you can do without ever needing to do much as far as build preparation and skilled play goes.
Its really just points to keep players that like to have something to progress playing… nothing more nothing less…

Hello,
XHSA is looking for a new time to host missions to avoid megaserver and guild mission traffic on mission reset days. We are trying out a new time on Fridays every week open to the public.
Please refer to the information page each week as it will answer most of your questions you have about missions. For a guest invite please send an in-game mail to Mireles Lore.5942 the day of the mission.
Thanks.
Here is the information page for the week of July 11th.

I think its about time guilds get another revamp and purposing. With the introduction of the mega-servers they seem to be out of place now and not considered in the full scheme of things.
Problems:
While Mega-servers solved many population problems in PvE it has hurt guild play and community cohesiveness. It has made in-game recruiting outside of WvW nearly out of the question if you want to keep your guild server based. Some guilds have taken on recruiting across servers but then these guilds have members that are excluded from participating in WvW.
It has also made guild missions more about getting everyone in the same server than the time actually spent doing the missions. This is a nightmare especially for bounty when you have different groups hunting the same boss. Also mission areas are extremely crowded with other guilds taking away from the entire experience.
Currently there is little reason to have a guild outside of guild buffs, WvW organization, and once a week for guild missions.
Solutions:
WvW needs to be brought back in line with the mega server idea and end the segregation guilds must consider when recruiting and place more importance on guilds and let them to be able to play together. Now I know we will still need to have some way to make teams in WvW. I propose that a new rating based on “WvW Influence” that is non-spendable be added to guilds and cumulative WvW rank of active members. This will be earned in similar ways that normal influence is earned but be exclusive to normal WvW. There would be a time period of measurement where influence would be reset before every season and players will have to select a guild to represent during the season or have them automatically placed in the guild with the highest WvW Influence. (If players would like to switch or join guilds after the season started, charge them gems.) Guild’s would be placed in “worlds” and “leagues” based on their WvW Influence earned, cumulative WvW rank of their active members, and the amount of players that participated in WvW during the measurement period. Guildless players would be random placed into any given world distributed equally. This would bring some importance back into being in and participating in a guild and make this more of a Guild War than a “lets hop onto the free server to band wagon it” war. It could also bring some balance to coverage wars if you mixed in guilds internationally. Between seasons guilds would stay in the same match-ups until measured again, or it could be randomized every week.
Guild’s also need some more meaningful and exclusive PvE content. We have had the same missions since March 2013 and they are very dated. They last maybe 10-15 minutes each, but take up to two hours to complete them all because most time is spent making sure everyone is in the same server now. We need instanced PvE content for guilds and more mission types. I suggest introducing challenge like missions like there was in Guild Wars 1 and exclusive raid like bosses. Where the mission doesn’t end until your team fails and bosses much like the marionette balanced for guild play that requires coordination and team work, not zerging. You could even make a leader board for each challenge mission score much like GW1 These are just a few ideas… but please add something we have been doing to same missions for over a year now, people have lost interest.
Now I realize there might be some things or consequences I may not have though of, feel free to criticize or add ideas of your own. But one thing I am certain, I know I am not the only one that feels like guilds in this game have little or no importance and that their role should be improved upon. I hope Anet does something to add to guilds soon. This is a great game but not perfect and can be improved upon.

It boggles my mind how many people aren’t just refining the mats. Every single bloodstone dust I ever gotten is sitting in my collectables tab, in one stack.
I could do that, but as soon as I do they will come out with a new recipe or sink that requires them unrefined. I guarantee it….
I have only been sPvPing for a handful of months…. but I’m already bored with it..
Seriously, can we get more official modes other than capture 2-3 points with some secondary spin on it?
How about capture the flag, death-match, free for all melee, or odd ball…..
It doesn’t look like it be all that hard to make and implement into the rotation.
PvE can only take a games lifespan so far, even if you keep adding little by little, only so many skins you can throw on a AI enemy.
