If they separate premade and solo, with this player population, queues will become an issue again… Honestly, I don’t think there is any way to save gw2 spvp, leaderboards may make come back some players, but that’s about it.
No more than 10% of gw2 gamers play spvp, it’s a failure, a bad investment. If I were some kind of Arena.net boss i will do the same, keep promising and keep some dudes working on it, so this 10% of gamers stick around, atleast for some time, and anyways, they won’t probably leave, they endured months and months, they are true believers.I’m starting to get that feeling too where Anet and NCSoft are trying to actually get rid of sPvP and focus solely on PvE and WvWvW. It would make sense that they would want to promote W3 as their sole PvP offering so that players have to PvE and grind in order to PvP. PvE is where all the money’s at.
It’s never in any business’ interest to intentionally force the market where they don’t want to go. It’s simply insane to suggest any company would intentionally dump on any meaningful percentage of its clients (and even if it were only 10%, that is a lot of possible revenue). They want more players, period. In all aspects of the game. People enjoying the game is what brings in revenue, not specific play styles.
I know it’s mostly overreaction and hyperbole, but for any of you who read this and really think ANET is “out to get” your preferred class or method of playing, you need to get a handle on your emotions and try using your noggin’.
1.) Even the exact same build can and will be played differently by different people.
2.) More information is almost always better
3.) Don’t slam folks for having the guts to share what they do.
4.) If you really care about who or what was “first” you should probably step back and reevaluate what’s important to you.
5.) Thanks for the video.
I hope DB realizes if YB had any sort of nightcrew, they would be on top in this tier. This is from an outsiders view btw.
I hope you are aware that if DB had a slightly stronger NA yaks bend would not even be able to compete.
Hardly lol. As it stands its DBs NA + Oceanic vs just YBs NA. If YB had any night crew they would be winning. Simple as that. I’m not even on Yaks Bend and I can see this btw.
There’s quite a bit of difference between having, and I quote “any sort of nightcrew” and having a night crew that can actually put up any measurable resistance to NNK and TFV. If you look back a month or so, you will remember that even fighting TC and FA, the DB night crew was consistently putting up between +400 and +500 for 4-6 hours. Having a token night crew would change absolutely nothing. YB would need to acquire astonishingly massive numbers of people for it to make any difference at all.
Edit: Also, if you look at the ppt evolution for DB, you’ll notice that it rarely drops below 200, even during the strongest times for YB. DB day crew has gotten significantly stronger over the past several months. It would take far more than a bit of a night crew for YB to actually beat DB in this matchup.
Having 1-2 Guilds as opposed to none would help. Just holding home BL + pie in eternal would be enough to win should they take the PPT during NA. I’ve fought YB before, they have absolutely no one except for those who stay up so yes, even a “token night crew” would help. Believe what you like.
You can also believe what you wish. You can “what if” all day long. It doesn’t change what actually is. Like the old saying goes, kitten in one hand, wish in the other and see which hand fills faster.
Honestly, given your short description of what you’re looking for, the other caster (Elementalist) might be the best option for you.
But for Mesmer or Necro, given your criteria: For damage purposes, Mesmer is probably easier for power ST builds, Necro shines in the AE and conditions. For utility / support, Mesmer is pretty lackluster in a boon-giving, healing sort of support. Their utility comes from AE stealth, haste, portals – more control and movement support. Necro is more of the healing type, but nowhere near what an Ele brings.
Stealth is a crutch and it’s also the mechanic that always holds thieves back from getting proper changes. It should be a mechanic to help open or escape not one of perpetual existence (as long as you have the initiative for it).
Conversely I shouldn’t be able to accidentally kill a thief by aoe’ing, but that’s also related to stealth and how much burst can be pulled off from it.
Fix stealth and you fix thieves.
Perfectly said.
Thief class is very unique, just because some guy with 30 apm is complaining who can’t even micro his microsoft powerpoint presentation…doesn’t mean the thief class needs a nerf.
At face value, this is absolutely correct. But you can substitute thief for any class. Digging deeper, it’s not a valid argument, because in a sense you’re saying a disproportionate number of bad players picked all the other classes, while an equally disproportionate number of good players picked thief. While this technically could happen, it’s highly improbable.
I’m not trying to say anything about the relative strength of the classes at the moment. I’m just trying to reinforce that the argument that basically boils down to “everyone else needs to l2p” is one you really need to check if you want to do an honest evaluation.
(edited by Mister Mustard.7203)
While I certainly agree that using underhanded behavior to stay in WvW while you afk for an hour is not acceptable, you should also probably understand Anet would love for you to transfer to a lower population server. So, I’m not sure if I’d expect to see them in any hurry to fix it.
If you hit with your River Drakes F2 skill and Rapid Fire, at the same time, your damage is godly, yes. However, if your opponent is running around, avoiding your pets damage, and he just dodged most of your Rapid Fire attack, your dps becomes ridiculously low.
Every class is exactly like this. Basically the point of the combat system is to learn when to do that to your enemy, and how to recover from that yourself.
If you are a skilled player, can you still do respectable DPS? Yes. Can you provide a noticeable benefit to your group? Of course. But you will have to work twice as hard as most other classes to get the same amount of performance.
That exact statement has been said in every single class forum. Engineers are probably the ones with the best claim to it though.
As usual, the truth is probably somewhere in the middle. The class certainly isn’t pie-in-the-sky, but it’s also certainly not the dog some of you make it out to be. But in all honesty, if you’re that unhappy it’s not difficult at all to level up another character or two.
I’ve never seen anyone in NNK let alone a commander laugh on a dead body or do any emotes out of disrespect.
Not that it matters because it’s pixels and children amusing themselves by acting like children but I have yet to see a DB NOT laugh/dance/jump on corpses since last weekend. When matches that are so dull and lopsided go on like this for weeks it seems to bring out the toddler in people who are blobrolling the other servers. Commanders and non-doritos alike, as the enemy blob rolls through masses of emotes flood the chat-box nowadays.
Doesn’t matter much though, matchup is boring at this point. We all know how it’ll end. There’s nothing YB or SoS can do to slow down the DB blob and the week is another experience in deja-vu at this point. /shrug
It helps to make your trolls more believable if you mix some small truths in. When everything you say is, “IT WERE DA BIG’ST FISH YA EVAR SEEN!!11” no one takes the bait. 0/10.
There’s only shatter. If you run anything else to be ‘different’ you’re doing it wrong. Running anything but shatter heavy builds is like playing with one hand and not playing as much as you would with both hands. If you don’t shatter you 1) deal pathetic aoe damage, 2) don’t apply aoe confusion (which isn’t amazing in pve but still free damage), 3) don’t build any Might stack to deal EVEN more damage with everything… Fail if you focus on phantasm crap or anything else.
Actually your narrow mindedness is pretty fail imo, but then the only time you post on forum is to hate on something whether it’s a build or a weapon, I don’t know why you even bother when everyone else has proved you wrong over and over :P
lol narrow mindedness… in 2k hours on my mes i think i had enough time to try ‘other AMAZING BUILDS’… nothing comes close to shatter builds for pve/pvp. not sure who’s the dude who proved me stuff and such so yeaaah. When its pretty much the only class you play since game’s release you don’t need any confirmation from some random dude on a forum to tell me if i’m wrong or not. You think other crap is better than shatter builds for pve? okay run that lol not me who’s gonna bother explaining why you shouldn’t.
LOL @ all this garbage. I don’t care if you’ve been playing for 150 years, it firstly doesn’t mean anything except you have a lot of free time, and second I’m 100% sure if only one spec were “right” we wouldn’t have specialization options. I know it may sound crazy, but people are different, and they may not only enjoy, but may be better at play styles differing from your own.
You might actually be able to see something if you’d stop looking down your nose for a moment.
santi is right. Without our asian population, DB would be tier 5 or worse.
If our Asian population played during NA hours, DB would tick for 500+ every night.
If Santi stopped crying about PvDoor, the universe would implode.
If I won the lottery, I’d be rich.
If hypothetical nonsense were pertinent …. ???
We are lacking in:
1.) Sustained movement. We excel in small-area fight movement, but our limited access to swiftness hurts our ability to get across maps fast.
2.) AoE is very lacking, especially for a cloth class in an MMO.
3.) Quite soft once you hit us. However, we are exceptional at not getting hit at all.
4.) Reliant on a system which becomes easier to counter with experience. Meaning, a brand new player has a real hard time with clones and the burst the class can put out (It’s also an odd burst to a lot of classes people may be familiar with in other games; as Suzut said it’s not as front loaded as many may be used to, we can lull people into thinking we don’t hit hard very easily). However, a more experienced player is less likely to be fooled by the tricks, and then it’s see #3.
5.) This may be a bit of a stretch, but Blind can be a killer for us, perhaps moreso than any other class. Chain blinds can mess any player up, but Mesmers can have a little bit more of a domino effect when we can’t effectively get out Phantasms and clones due to blind and los. But like I said, that opinion may be a bit of a stretch.
I play a 0/20/20/0/30 conditions clones and confusion build with a staff and sword/focus, mainly because I find it most fun and it gives me a bit more toughness and a better chance to survive if I do something stupid (which still happens to me) xD
This sums me up nicely, except I use a Scepter in WvW instead of the Sword I use elsewhere.
Delo, you it looks like you forgot to post this in the Mesmer forum. Wouldn’t want you to miss one.
What do shatters have to do with anything? They are our class mechanic and serve multiple purposes. There are many builds that are centric on them, and almost all builds utilize them in some way. Even if you are running a phantasm build, if aoe is about to kill them, shattering will provide some extra damage.
Its not likely you can get to shatter in time and you may have other clones/phantasms that are fine. I tot the class mechanic were the clones/illusions themselves. My bad.
If you explain to me, how you’d build a time warp centric build, an effect that is up for 10 seconds every 3 minutes your argument would have merit.
For the record, if 5 seconds were added to the shatters cd (before the shatter recharge %, i assume) it’d probably have a very marginal overall effect. On most builds that would come down to like 1,66 seconds increase, thats not even 10 % . People would probably react much more to a % increase, or a damage reduction. Alas, you are still comparing apples and skyscrapers.
My example isnt about builds centering around a skill or a mechanic. Its about the irritation you get when things get nerfed to suit another aspect of the game. Like you said 5s CD is very marginal, much less than the Quickness nerf and yet a lot of mesmer who RELY on shatters not just for direct damage, but for the vulnerability stacks/confusions stacks etc. in PVP will be crying foul. That is what I imagine what would happen. Correct me if I am wrong.
As for the players who consider TW as a crutch in PvE in their opinion, I would imagine they don’t use it at all but they turn around and say they do. The illogical arguments put forth by the elite mesmer community boggles my mind.
You summed yourself up quite nicely.
While it’s taken me a while to figure out what you’re actually babbling about, it appears you’re really upset that your pve elite was nerfed a little bit because of problems in pvp. I’m terribly sorry you feel that this great injustice came down upon your shoulders. I really am. However, your method of expressing that sentiment is extremely lacking.
Your argument has apparently been contriving a situation where if shatters were nerfed, that the community would be shedding the same river of tears you are currently. Perhaps that’s true, but the point is it doesn’t matter. It’s completely made up and irrelevant, as you’re trying trump up a fake nerf to use it as an example as to why this change was so bad. It just doesn’t make any sense whatsoever. Sure, I could say, “hay guis lol wut if anet like lol just deleted mezmar hahahah.” That would be just as pertinent as what you’re trying to say, which is not at all.
What DID happen was Haste, across the board, received a reduction. While some classes have been affected by this change more than others, it still affects everyone. In the end, you have 3 options: 1.) get over it, 2.) change your play style (ie reroll), or 3.) quit.
Wonderful idea.
+1
Love the sunday players posting troll mesages on forums ! When an elite skill is nerfed 50% its a big nerf mate , so l2p ! And if you didnt play mesmer in PVE for the TW then YOU played the mesmer wrong !
LOL @ you telling me or anyone else how to play.
Are you people just scared that the only reason people invited you into groups was because of Time Warp? If that’s the case, you have much bigger problems to deal with thakitten0% haste nerf (which probably affected Rangers and Warriors & Thieves much more than it affected Mesmers). But, tbh I wouldn’t mind one bit if the Mesmer class thinned out some, so by all means, enjoy your Warrior.
The 20s cooldown and the effects KR gives don’t seem to work together well. I think the flavor of the class is that I’m supposed to be constantly swapping between kits and weapons to pull off chains and combos depending on the situation I’m in. The KR effects seem to be “extra” effects that I would want to use on their own accord in certain situations … so I’m effectively forced to choose between the KR effect or continue with my main abilities.
What I feel that KR needs to be are “additional” effects instead of “extra.” An incentive, or added bonus when I swap to that kit as I normally would. In short, buffs instead of effects. IE : Med Kit: Increases healing done by a percentage for a short duration, or FT: Burning duration increased by a percentage for a short duration.
Oppositely, in the current state, the cooldowns need to be independent of each other so I can equip kits with the intention of using them solely for the KR procs.
I hate to harp on a brand new change before I’ve even tried it out, but at the moment it’s not passing the smell test to me.
I like the change a lot. It would have been one thing to nerf TW alone, but the quickness change across the board is great.
If you’d actually watch the video (source), they mentioned it (shatter nerf) might possibly be an avenue they could consider looking into if GS beam AoE proved too powerful.
There has been no confirmation of a shatter nerf, don’t worry yourself.
Exactly!
We all play for our own reasons. I have played PPT wars, I have soloed, run with small groups and even been in massive zergs, all can be fun in their own way.
No need to trash talk former allies or opponents, just keep coming out to WvWvW and bringing whichever version of playstyle you enjoy.
Good luck see you on the battlefields!
+1
Ditto.
I have lost all my “respect” for Tsym, the only guild that can pull numbers similar to them is BP which coincidentally they find the better “challenge”, this guys only knows how to run 50 vs 50 battles and steamroll based 90% on numbers and they dare to claim skill. They call the “special ops” affiliate squads “the tactical revolution” and it’s something that almost every server does, it’s pretty basic.
Now like Facet said, this is “our true strength” or should i say, almost our true strength, since there’s people still to unify under our new alliance. Yak’s Bend was “divided” by internal conflicts for at least 1 month or more, and now the people is finally being united once more, people that had been on this server before me climbed the tiers all together, and now we’ll do the same, all together.
Sadly no matter how much unity, tactics, and bla bla bla we can pull out, DB will always catch us thanks to their full asian population, they can use their NA crew to slow down ours, but we can’t slowdown their Asian population because we don’t have any (We’re lucky if we have 1 asian at WvW), obviously WvW is not meant to be fair, it’s a war, but this can easily be proof to prove that we’re faaaaar better and superior than DB, we just need a “night population”, which i guess, someday we’ll have.
I’ve come to the realization that you have to be trolling everyone. No one who’s hit puberty cries this much. It just doesn’t happen.
Do people actually still play WvWvW?
Yes?
I’m fine with well thoughout and gradual change(s) – this isn’t either of those. We’re trying to facilitate discussion with the Dev but none have come to our call. We want to provide reasonable suggestions to their problems. There are other ways to nerf stealth without destroying build(s).
I’m guessing that they actually sat down and went over every repercussion they could think of with the change. While I’m sure they didn’t come up with every single one, I would think the effect on certain builds would certainly have been discussed at length. If they’re putting the change in, logically what do you think they’re saying about those builds?
What a number of us have been saying is simple: You definitely won’t be able to play the same way if you used perma-stealth and culling as a crutch. Sorry about that. There will probably be some tweaks in other areas to compensate, and you may have new, viable options if you give them a chance. Let’s wait and see before we jump off a bridge?
I’ve already been playing the ele. They are fairly mobile and it’s easier to deal with multiple enemies than thief already is (without nerf).
Don’t tell me to “adapt”. I’ve already “adapted” to guardians and elementalists on my thief. My answer was chaining a CND here and there to avoid them and regen health.
So now, we have to “adapt” again? Great answer!
I really wish ANet would increase all attunements by 3s, then tell all elementalists to “adapt” to it. yea, lol.
Thank you for clearing up why the change was made.
_
I understand wanting to discuss it, and being apprehensive of nerfs. But I urge you to not get worked up about something that you have nowhere near all the facts. Let the patch come and see what comes in the whole package. If you sat in stealth all day to wear down people, then yes, this is going to hit you hard. But there may be some other goodies to play with if you just keep an open mind about it.
just wait 4 more days. Turrents get a big change next update.
lol don’t get your hopes up for these “big changes”. The only thing karl mentioned was cripple on thumper turret and more damage on rifle turret. And those fixes won’t even bring turrets close to being viable.
I’m thinking they’ll get some attention beyond what was stated. They’re intentionally vague with those sort of comments as people get stupid when you say something concrete. If they’re still tuning and debating on changes, they absolutely cannot say anything about it, or the sky is falling if you change your mind or find it doesn’t work.
It was quite obvious Karl in particular was unsure and guarded about what he was trying to say, for exactly that reason. I would reasonably expect a few more changes, in particular to Turrets as they apparently see them as the Engineer’s “intro” build and they want to make them work. But, not having a crystal ball, I may be completely wrong. I’m not holding my breath either way.
A bit of fun in EBG Jp tonight.
Oh hey. That’s me in the far right.
Wait… it shows my dye colors on your side?! o.o
There’s an option to show them all.
I had a thought, on another thread, but I figured it could do well to flesh out here. I think a simple fix could be this.
Allow us to equip one kit to our weapon swap slot, have a normal weapon swap cool down apply to that kit, but take away the tool belt skill for it, as it is not in a utility slot.
The idea is that we could essentially get one extra utility slot that doesn’t have to be a kit if we want to run a elixir/gadget/turret build. If balance with that is an issue in that we could essentially take FT on the swap slot, giving us a base 10 1-5 skills, but it would mean taking all kits in our utilities would gain us an additional 15 (total 25, too much perhaps). So, limit us to a total of using 3 kits (total 20 instead) between our swap and utility slots.
Essentially, the core change would be giving us a utility slot that we don’t have to sacrifice to have a full 10 1-5 skills. People wouldn’t feel they have to use a kit build in order to be effective, because a kit wouldn’t have to take away a slot. This is just a suggestion, and I won’t pretend I know how to properly balance it, but I think it has potential. Thoughts?
I think the easier fix is to go through the traits. The way the class is built, we need more “combo” potential between the varied abilities we have everywhere. Just one example would be Turret effects increasing damage by Rifle and Pistol by a percentage.
And I’ll say it again —- weapon swap is what makes Engineer a little unique, I can play 6 other classes if I want to weapon swap.
I see no golems… and no devs.
I R teh confused.
/sarcasm?
No, I’m serious. In your screenshot I see no devs, I also see no golems. I see 3 yaks, one happens to be a commander, you and a flame ram.
Obviously it’s one of those pictures you have to stare at forever before you see the golems in 3d.
You know, if all the turrets were part of ONE kit, I’d probably use it.
Yeah, everyone does, it’s called Supply Crate
Because we tried it a while ago and it did not end well, plus, some people on FC just do not want it to happen.
Ah, that’s unfortunate. It would at least go a long way toward making the tier competitive and fun for you guys. I realize a number of people irrationally consider such behavior underhanded, but especially given the situation it would probably be best for all involved.
At any rate, good luck.
Are FC / ET actively working together against SF?
Because if you’re not, you should be.
No, we aren’t. And no, we will not
Why not?
Are FC / ET actively working together against SF?
Because if you’re not, you should be.
A speed improvement on the projectiles would be nice.
But as far as the rest of staff goes, I think it’s by far the most popular Necro weapon. The utility it provides fits nicely in almost any build.
I don’t like this idea. I would much prefer to see us given the ability to equip a kit to a weapon slot, so we would be able to use the weapon swap. The change would mean that one kit user’s who are looking for 5 additional skills to equate to a second weapon do not have to pay for it via a utility slot. For multi-kit users, this would mean that they could have another utlitity as well, but it could mean that we are limited to using a total of three kits, which I would be fine with.
Basically, this would give us an extra utility slot, placing us a par in term of number of skills and utilities with the Elementalist. Whether this would work in terms of balance or not, I cannot say, but it would certainly make me happy.
Not to be contrarian, but I really hate the weapon swap ideas. There are 6 other classes that pick 2-4 weapons and swap on cooldown between them. I’m good with Engie’s having a different play style in that regard. I’ll admit I think it needs some tweaking still, but I like the ability to quickly switch if I want to.
I’ve been thinking similar; my feeling has always been that the class was designed around taking kits. Having access to a lot of skills you can swap between very quickly is what I think is supposed to be our hallmark and advantage.
But, I think all kits goes against the overall design philosophy; meaning there wouldn’t be an option for a more fire-and-forget play style, and I know the developers want to keep those sorts of options open across all classes.
Sure, the first few weeks will probably be long queues as people want to take the new toy for a spin. But after a while, the people who don’t like to get killed by other players will remember they don’t like getting killed by other players, and the people who were only mildly interested before will remember the reasons why. A few will find they really enjoy it and become more active, but after a month or so it will probably settle back down similar to what you see today.
You can’t afford it.
OP, you’ve basically said the math is sound but it shouldn’t apply to this system. Which is what’s been said all along. When people say the problem is Glicko, they mean the implementation in this situation, not that the system can’t work in the correct context.
I just still want to know why Glicko is better than a winner-moves-up, loser-moves-down system. Some hubris with having a big long math equation to point at?
No idea if it’s true. Don’t really care.
2v1’s are part of all 1v1v1 setups. Every server gets 2v1’d at some point in the week…doesn’t make it a conspiracy, it’s just the nature of the game. Complaining about it is like complaining that the pitcher threw you a curveball.
These threads are dopey. Always have been, always will be.
I had a nice reply all thought out, and lo, someone else already wrote it for me.
Don’t kid yourself, this is an abuse of mechanics – certainly not how the skill was intended to be used.
It will get fixed if you start exploiting it. An exploit is an exploit no matter how you try dress it up.
^^^
Plus, if your argument hinges on this exploit not being as bad as another, you should probably just stop right there.
I appreciate your effort and work into addressing turrets, but if you want this thread to go anywhere, please edit out any mention of a petition or /signing. Petitions are against forum rules and will be quickly closed, and I would hate to see that before a good discussion can be had.
Right now it also blocks skills for the duration after it absorbs a projectile, which you can trigger with your own bounce skills. []… making it essentially a 4s block with a 25s CD which can be traited for less.
On the other had it is useful to have 4 seconds of invincibility. (:
I dunno, I quite like Mimic in WvW.
New kid in town on YB…some of y’all fought me last week, most of y’all haven’t. In the weeks to come y’all are going to see what’s up.
-PJ
Daaang son. It’s about to get real up in this piece.
same as yesterday we need people to hold the line
You guys are awesome
I know what is missing in this thread.
Needs Moar Cross-eyed Norn Score Updates!
It’s like he’s staring straight into your soul.
I appreciate everyone’s sentiments toward him posting a link to the build aside from the video, but the reasoning is apparently that he’s not covering every possible contingency for your viewing convenience. And, I’m sorry —- if you can’t watch it at work, or only have a mobile at the moment, can you not wait to get home to view it? While I understand the convenience of a linked website build, are we really at the point in society that someone is lambasted for not having immediate, convenient information for you to process? That you might actually have to make a small effort to obtain information you’re interested in?
I don’t mean to hijack his thread any further, as his fighting video shows how impressive the build can be, but I just feel the discussion on where his traits are located is a bit obnoxious.
I also don’t like the fact that your Snow Leopard racial is more useful than any of the class elites necromancers have. But that has to do with ANet not knowing how to balance elite skills properly.
Any of the class elites would be vastly more effective. He didn’t even use the ability in the video, so at bare minimum a dead Flesh Golem would be just as good. Nevermind actually using it to knock someone down to set up burst / close / create a gap.
Not to mention if Snow Leopard did get used, it’s a full minute longer cooldown than Lich or Plague. With no stability.
If you seriously want melee then dagger auto attack chain is the strongest auto attack combo out of all the professions.
It’s actually not….
Does less DPS than even Rangers Greatsword (Which is known for it’s lack of damage, their Sword does 50% more DPS than it) and doesn’t even cleave. The only benefit is that it’s stronger than any other Necro weapon (Also DS, unless hitting multiples with piercing DS)
It doesn’t appear to be the strongest, although it appears to be second only to Warrior’s Axe in base damage (ignoring any secondary condition damage). Full cleaves, scaling, and trait builds may alter the end numbers, but the Dagger’s base damage is quite high. Much, much higher (almost twice that) of either Ranger sword.
If you have some information that I’m not aware of that backs up your claim, I’d love to see it. Also, I just want to make sure you understand that DPS and damage are not the same thing. I realize it may be splitting hairs, but when discussing relative power of weapons it is an important distinction to keep imo.
For the rest of the discussion, Axe is probably the weapon best suited to cleave; it would greatly enhance the auto attack (perhaps it should be given a chain of its own, where the 2nd and 3rd hits cleave). Staff is already relatively strong and has a ton of AE on it already, if you add any more on its auto attack, why would folks ever choose a different weapon?
