Why not maintain this map ? in my opinion is a fun map , it gives a different kind of playstile and variability . Having one map like this force you to evaluate also a different scenario in your team composition . it is a random mad variable in respect to contest maps but it is fun and make things a little different .
i main eng but i play mesmer too. In my opinion for going zerker shatter mesmer is much better and effective. With thief, and perhaps necro, it is the only class really suitable berserker for me . Engineer has no evasion respect to mesmer . What make berserker shatter mesmser viable is the great ways you have to evade damage from your opponent. This completely miss to eng . Another thing is the sustain damage that great sword on mesmer do : on the same distance engineer has nades but they are not usually in SD builds and in any case they don’t put the same tipe of damage and use mesmer gs do . Sorry for my bad english .
infact i think it is only a question of getting used to it. I saw backpack video on youtube explaining correct rifle rotations … they are not more complex than pistols pistols . The only thing i really really miss is pistol 3
but cele rifle has lower armour .. i die much faster … but perhaps i should use it more
I usually play engineer in wvw but i would try to give mesmer a try too. ( I play it quite often in tpvp and spvp so i can handle it ) . Which build , setup you suggest for going in wvw with a mesmer ? is a shatter mesmer berserker OK ? ( i prefer roaming , i am not a fan of zerging)

I usually prefer condi rabid (with p/p) but i feel that celestial rilfe based builds, condi p/s or p/p , are quite strong in every way . Perhaps i prefer celestial rifle against mesmers or ele or dps team …condi rabid builds against bunkers team what are your opinions ?

In my humble opinion there is another aspect to consider. When i play celestial rifle eng or condi rabid eng ( i prefer pistol pistol but it is the same for pistol shield ) i enjoy myself …. instead when i play turrets …. even if i win … i am boared after a while … so i prefer to play condi specs … much more interactive and various

when i began to play eng i preferred bombs much more becouse they are simpler to use ( no ground targeting ) . Now that i am quite used to ground targeting i prefer nades . For 2 main reason :
- Nades can be used ranged on groups from far
- when i use nads ( as i usually do ) on my feet i find nades faster to deploy and nades 2,5 and 3 are really strong . It is much easy to blind with nade 3 for me
For using bombs i suggest you to try to take elixir gun and trait 4 in fire arms so that you have max range in EG. EG is really strong and with pistol shield you have much more options for range fights. Now i prefer to use pistol pistol with nades, toolikt and elixir S but it is a little bit different play style

Instead of speaking about tournament or about high level playeres… make this game viable for all the noob people who , in any case payed this game …. like top players … playing 4 vs5 or 3 vs 5 is not a problem of balance or something else … it is something at server level that does not work …
Can someone of anet put his face on this ? today i made 6 matches … 5 were 4 vs5 … and 1 was 3 vs 5 …. can someone of Anet take a position ? it was in teamqueue . Can someone of Anet say something about this ? can you give us a button for kill a 4 vs 5 match ?

I think that turrets really need a buff, they should reduce cold down , they shoud raise the fire rate and they shoud double the damage output of rocket turret. what do you think ?
this build is for having a little more damage than usual 2/3kits .It is quite simple to play … pop your elixirs , stack might in firefield … raise up your condi and direct damage. .. and enjoy it. itseems to me quite effective but any comment is welcome .

why ? there are good pistol pistol build also ( HGH , 2 kits elixir S and others) . In my opinion it is a different way of playing but with a condi build in pvp Pistol pistol is viable and fun
that with a similar solution you close the sets. Bad players will play only with bad players … there will be not any growth of peolpe … having mixed player, if youngest players want to learn , is a great resource for training .
i find that engineer is a strong profession but not OP. You have many different viable builds and for me turrets (which are quite dumb ) are not the stronger ones. For example, after last change i find that HGH 2 elixir toolkit with rabid and pistol pistol is really strong and with 3 elixir you can really clean alot of condi . If you look at CD , even if you can clean 1 condi a time , you can clean up to 12 condition for minutes , it is really good ( i use elixir H , B and S )
i don’t say that hgh builds are the best, but it is only to suggest something that for me works quite well and it is a little bit different from usual xkit builds
In my opinion it can be different from map to map. On Skyhammer or on Spirit a celestial rifle build works really well . In spirit for me rifle is a must for blocking or throw away people. After playing quite all the 2 or 3 kits builds for a long time i find now in other maps that old HGH build with P/P can be really effective. It is underated but it has a lot of good things ( for example you can remove 12 condi a minute , 5 second stealth a minute, 5 second stability every 30 seconds and so on) . Damage increase with might .. and it is really really easy to play .
there is a huge difference , between elementalist attunements and engineer kits . kits have no cold down and engineer can fight and swap from range to melee in any moment (eng weapons are all ranged but for example bombs or toolkit are melee ) .
they should nerf lich form …. it is too op for other classes to fight against .
for pvp i use rabid based builds with pistol pistol or pistol shield. For pve i play celestial with rifle and berserker rings, amulet and so on. For wvw for now i was playing as for pve but i was thinking about a condi build for wvw similar to the ones i use in pvp. Is condition /power eng good in wvw ? any suggestion about runes and sigils ? The armor in this case should have rabid stats ?
Eng crate is not good … instead Lich form of necro , moa of mesmer or perma stun of some warrior builds are OK in 1 vs 1 …

I use rabid condi build or celestial rifle build. I have no great problem with any class .. .except that one. How do you handle necro in lich form ? i have problem in targetting it and also in interrputing it . Any suggestion is welcome
arrive to lvl 30 and then begin to make dungeons . Every 2 dungeons run if i remember you gain a level and it is quite fun
there is no way to win all the matches… it depends on the player you have to face. I suggest to take scepter focus, 0,6,0,4,4 (zoose build if i remember ) . I use it quite often in pvp. I don’t win every 1 vs 1 with thief but with focus for protect myself i win many times … i am not easy meat for the thief .. Learn to time focus skills ( for example water 4 is quite strong for crippling them ) or earth stone and when they appear land all your dps . I find it viable .
for me elementalist in pvp ( i have more than 1k tournaments on it) is really good as a damage dealer if you have the right build and the right team . I usually play in pvp scepter focus berserker when my team need dps and we do quite well . Instead for other tasks ( tanking a point or roaming or bunkering ) i feel my engeneer much more effective and i think that ele can do some roles but other professions can do them a lot easier . Elementalist can do different things but for me, other than dps builds , other class can make the same tasks in an easyer and more effective way
hotjoin is a good training camp when i want to play a new class or also a new build very different from the ones i am used to . If i learn in Tqueue or in Squeue it is not correct for other players
for engeneer i would insert turrets engeneer, now it can be really strong , in solo queue in particulary
roll an eng and understand its weaknesses … as for every class .. play it …
I am not a champion but with focus on tpvp i win much more than with dagger offhand. The advantages of focus is that with skill in earth and in water (4) i last much more and so i do more damage for my team. For example playing against a thief or with a thief around, for me , is simpler if i have focus . Probably it is a problem of mine but i find difficult to finish all the classic fresh air s/d combos … and if it misses i find really hard to survive
1) for pvp i switched from S/D to S/F. The reason is that i play with random players , not in an organized team and so with focus i can last more and deal more damage ( i play 6,6,0,0,2). Even if Dagger offhand has more dps with focus i survive much more and so i make more damage for my team.
I tried many different pvp build. Celestial with dagger dagger is really good but sometimes i feel ele role is to “Burst” the enemy and with celestial it is not easy. So i decided to try fresh air build .
It seems to me that s/d fresh air is really squishy but perhaps i have take the wrong build. Which is a viable freshair build ?

Focus with earth skill 4,5 permit me to resist to a quite good damage and i find quite viable for 1 vs1 . Any suggestion is welcome
i find pp conditions on rabid with nades , toolkit and elixir S works better for me than celestial ( use quite the same traits , utilties but with rifle ,celestial and strength/battle)

i prefer nades to bomb but i use them quite often on me to kill more enemy at once with granadier trait . I find nades much faster to land

i tried even to work on rifle for synaptic rage but without stability it is really hard to get and use haste with overcharghed shot. Any suggestion even on rifle is welcome .
when i play pvp sometimes i feel that i miss dps with rapid condi build . So i tried to approch the build in a little different way. The idea is to play around haste from various suorce ( synaptic overload, sigil of rages, elixir U) and to try to use it for having a little more dps. What i like of this build is to use haste with toolkit … and hit with my wrench much more fast. It is a toy build … obviously, not a meta one but i find it quite fun to play. Do you have any suggestion to make it better ?

how is a turret condi power engeneer ? i usually play something like 2,0,6,6,0 with 3 turret but i use settler amulet and it is not condi power but only tank. It is a really strong and easy build to use … but it is not condi power
