I personally store my serial code in a password app in my phone where the DB is backed up elsewhere. There are various ones out there, free and pay, that work pretty good.
Everything worked fine untill i tried to log into the game. It said my account was locked due to the first refund.
So to clarify
1) It let you create an account with the new key and use your old email?
2) You used a new email, and when you asked about linking your Guild Wars 1 account, you tried and it came back with the banned message? Was it previous inked to your now-canceled original GW2 account?
3) You don’t have a GW1 account, thought it would let you use your old GW2 account and tried to link to that account?
4) Logged into your old account and added it there
5) None of the above
They are not saying the account key it self was fraudulent, right?
Because I know I’ve heard of people falling for #4 and getting help. You might try posting in the tickets for review thread once the ticket is 3 days old – Gaile will review it then. She might even see this and look into it before then (try editing and adding in your ticket number to the original post to make it easier for her to do so).

Should be exactly the same. All I have to say is if you have it saved to your browser, look up what’s saved (usually in settings or settings/privacy) as well as making sure you are trying to log in with your email address and not your “Ehaw.5831” display name.
The other thing would be check your email to make sure it’s not waiting for you to approve the login via email verification.

It’s the only way I know short of re-buying the armor skins.
As long as the armor isn’t stated level 80, do some map completes. That usually gives some transmutation stones.
I would say I’ve seen at least a 25% success rate, personally, and I know Crystal Desert had a 4-5 complete streak the other night.

You should be able to transfer the skins by transmuting them onto vendor-bought whites. It may still say soulbound, but I’ve used this to get both ankh-bearing guardian starting pieces on the same character.
All I can say is you are looking for an email from noreply@guildwars2.com if you pre-ordered directly from the Guild Wars 2 site and not a 3rd party retailer.
Your browser recognizes your log-in info – to confirm, you are trying to log in with the email associated with your account and not SocoYBood.1475?
All browsers have a way to let you view stored passwords (usually under settings→Privacy of some sort).
If you can’t find your serial, there are other bits of info you can use to verify your ownership (for example, if bought directly from Anet, the last four digits of the card used and the card type, or the pay-pal account used, etc).
They never resend serial numbers to help insure security of the code.

It’s not personal. The fact that your first notice of inappropriate name gave you a suspension is a mistake. Unless the name is extremely grotesque it’s supposed to just be a rename – no suspension – the first time.
Also, it’s considered bad manners to “necropost” – this thread is months old since the last response.
Hope you put in a ticket wiht support and get back in soon.
The problem is on Yahoo’s end. They like to block Arena Net’s emails. If he wants to try and change the email, he needs to contact support via the ticket system above.
Also, he can try adding (I think it is) noreply@arenanet.com.

Have you tried the automatic password reset page?
That will also disabled two factor authorization.
Bind move and turn right to F5/F6, use coins to hold the buttons down. Problem solved.
Good job on posting a way to circumvent something ANET has in place to stop people like you from taking advantage of others.
Wait, who am I taking advantage of and how exactly?
The idea behind the shorter AFK kick timer would be to prevent people from AFKing and taking up room in maps with bosses like the Wurms or the doll. Some of the events tied into these don’t even require you to do anything to get credit, and you’d be preventing someone who wants to play from possibly getting in on an instance with a full group.
Try hitting up the Chantry of Secrets again (actually go in) at the Dead End Waypoint in Bloodtide coast. for some reason, some people have to revisit for the 100% to trigger.
Ok, policy change made (or at least clarified for everyone).
In a situation where a new account holder/player starts the game and realizes he or she chose a game world in error, if that player contacts Customer Support (via a ticket, Click “Support” above and then “Submit a request”) we most likely will be able to accommodate a transfer request.
Exceptions may apply. For instance, if someone is playing on his/her second account, game world selection is not a new experience and I don’t see us offering this service. The free transfer without cool-down is intended for players who are totally new to Guild Wars 2.
This means a brand new player will not need to wait for a 7-day cool-down period but can get moved to the game world his/her friends are playing on without delay. This should happen when a player submits a ticket right away, within 24 hours of account creation.

99% certain this is just a visual bug. The skills are set to specific distances, etc – and while the model isn’t the same, each player’s actual pathing box is.

People will spend money when you deliver value, but the current suite of chest contents aren’t worth the money. Improvement needed.

Just happened to me twice in a row while trying to do the Wurm and Marionette. The only skills that worked were Attunement Swap and Arcane Wave (instant-cast skills.) Other people around me were complaining too (“My skills aren’t firing.”)
Got this on my thief – and like you, only skills (in my case the run speed signet and my venom) that can activate even during other skills would work.
I seem to recall trying to waypoint, but I can’t recall if that fixed it for me (at least, I don’t think it did until I waypointed to another map).

No. As with ANY event in the past, it is simply a cooling down period to be able to hand in the excess tokens people have acquired during the event. As this event lasted for quite a while, this is not simply a luxury, it’s a necessity. Additionally, people count on a gaming company to consistently apply its policies across events. I did, anyway, and I’m pretty sure thousands of other people did. Lastly, there was no warning whatsoever, as has ALWAYS been the case, that the exchange vendor would leave.

But with that kind of base defense, nothing in pve would do ANY damage to you.
It would also make downscaling OP, as you would have 4 times more defense than a lvl 60 player in rare gear in a lvl 60 region.

If you have a smart phone, you might want to change your email password and enable mobile authentication if your email has it via that.
While waiting for the cooldown (unless, as I. Cedo said, you’ve never used the server transfer – then you should contact support) you can play and mess around while guesting with your friends. That will let you learn the game and professions, and start gaining some crafting materials and currencies (the bank and wallet are account-based, so even if you delete every character you have they remain.)
You need to either reply to the email response they sent you, or post in the “Tickets for review” thread stickied above.
Going through support would be the only way.
He might want to open a new email account with a different service and send an email to support referencing the ticket number he got when submitting his issue. If the login auth emails are not getting through support probably won’t either.

I just received an email from support@guildwars2.com for requesting a forgotten password. The only problem is, I know my password and didnt send the ticket. I immediately got an email from support@guildwars2.com asking to verfiy that the person who sent the ticket was me by giving info on my character’s race/prof/etc. I dont know what to do, is this legit? Did somebody use my email address to try and change my password?
The best thing to do is to file a ticket yourself and include all the info that was in that e-mail to verify if they did indeed send it.

The only time I can recall them ever sending a support email to anyone wihtout the person submitting a ticket first is the beta testing for the Edge of the Mists map.
Something like this screams phishy to me.
If you know where your browser stores passwords – look there to see what you have for email and password to make sure it matches.

Not certain. You could submit a ticket to support, if you can’t find an answer in the knowledge base.
Simple yes/no billing questions like this are usually answered fairly quickly.

No, all they got was my serial number, email and character name.
Unfortunelty, that’s basically what they need for a password reset. If you haven’t, contact support immediately as advised above. Make sure you have another email account to use – you will want to change your email.

Standard response time is “up to 72 hours”. As pointed out the thread about what to include in a ticket, there’s a thread to post in if it takes longer than that to get a human response.

Here’s my guess: You had your bank open when you double clicked on it, so you could see your tasty new slots ASAP. So when you did, the item went into your bank instead of actually being used.
If not, good luck finding the cause!
I had this happen when trying to add a bank bag slot. Very likely – and like Q said, hope that’s it, and if not, swift solutions!
As long as you did nothing wrong you are fine. In a free for all like that if he did report his behavior would be looked at too.

And after getting the serial code he did make the account,etc, right (just checking as the some have thought the system auto-creates an account but it does not)
Other than double checking things like caps lock we can really only suggest he submit a ticket via the support page linked at the top. Fill in as much as you can.
The ONLY exception I have ever seen for CS going around the cooldown (which is in place in part for WvW reasons) is in the case of account compromise.
Oh and no matter how you transfer there is always a 7 day cooldown.
Note your bank is account wide. Anything not server bound you want to save can be put in there and it will move with you. If you have some armor skins you want to save you can transmute the skin into a white items stats and that will break any character-binding it has.
They won’t. However, unless it’s just WvW you want to team up on you can guest to SBI if it’s in the same sever region as yours.
