Kinda gimmicky like Fresh Air, but it’s excellent 1v1. Weapons/ammy is whatever you feel like.

I despise the whole lets just spam all of our skills until something kills the other dude except our cantrips we save those for something speshul playstlye of the cele ele. i dont care what weapon i dont care if its bunker or zerker but someone link me a build that neither runs the cele amulet or requires me to give up my job to master it to the point that it overcomes its gigantic weaknesses. please i really dont wanna go back to being warrior scum -_-

anything that doesnt either get roflstomped by a small breeze or deals less damage than ele’s signit heal can keep up with

Who wants this skill as an elite?
Want to know if I am the only one who thinks its a good idea or not.

I think it’d be a great elite to replace FGS (removing Flame Axe and making FGS a normal conjure as it should be (while maybe toning down its passive stats and removing the on summon damage to make it fit in with the other conjures)

i would honestly rather keep the axe the might and and extra field is much more useful to me than a couple of movement skills that deal mediocre damage.

I still think placing a giant in one of wvw BLs with a 0.01% chance to drop a non account bound stone that permits a full WXP reset , and is like level 90 requiring atleast 50 players to take him/her down would be awesome.

PPK is absolute BS, since PPK released every single server (including ours aswell) started up blobbing even more. To decrease the chance that you get wiped so you won’t give PPK to the enemy server.

The weaker enemy server will always try to avoid the combat against a stronger server (atleast thinking about the points view) instead of a brave zerg that yolo’s in an outnumbered fight. Such dedication should be rewarded, not discouraged.

Also the PPK will disbalance the current matchmaking system even further. The weaker server is unable to wipe the enemy and therefor he’s unable to get PPK. Also the weaker server is discouraged to cap enemy towers, since in most cases he will lose more points because of the chance that the stronger server is in time to defend.

Also the PPK supports farming aka waiting inside a keep/tower and not capping the object on purpose just to waiting for the enemy to make a hopeless attempt to save the tower to save all the effort the scout put into the tower. Farming is one of the most humiliating forms of WvW and should be limited as far as possible.

last but not least the PPK encourages cowardish roamers (not blaming campcapping/dollykilling roamers etc) who only wait outside of a keep till an upscaled/player with a non roaming build tries to go to the commander. It’s a very annoying part of WvW and i don’t know a single player who actually likes those cowardish roamers.

The only good thing about the PPK is that gvg guilds feel better about themselves because they feel they contribute to the server, it doesn’t offer a single tactic or whatsoever except for running away from fights. PPK offers zero brain fights instead of tactics.

i disagree i have seen several guilds putting together 10-20 man Elite teams to zerg hunt with mesmer tactics boon/condi control and builds built by the team leader to synchronize and its amazing to be a part of.

Would anyone like a way to reset WXP?

unlock all the skills you will eventually find yourself with 3 armor sets in your bag anyway and you will roll between different traits and utilities based on what your doing.

mmmm if i use glyph of storms lighting then switch to earth to use glyph of storms earth on the same spot does that mean i blind vuln stack and essentially melt the a hole in the ground at that spot? im cool with that i vote yes for this atleast for the lack of a decent ele elite anyway.

This build brings much more to the table.

The one thing Mesmer commanders can bring that other classes cant, the one thing is target drop with stealth. Which in this commander focus meta is a great thing.

Forget about tagging and doing damage as a Mes commander, focus on your responsibilities first.

Finally Dollyak runes are fine. Other options are Melandru, Sanctury, or for a fringe option, Radiance.

The biggest reason WvW started dying as fast as it did was the mega server. (yes i know mega server is good and we all thank you for it) But we really need a way to recruit for our WvW guilds and call in reinforcements from out server. Simple solution is server wide chat. Visible in all regions and all game modes to anyone on a server. Assists with server verification and requesting aid from one BL to another. Please give me a red post with even a single reason we shouldn’t have this tool.

running with guards and necros that know how to condi clear and stabilize on voice request thus my focus on reflect spams. the sigil you have a valid point but in t2 given the current WvW population they last much longer than they should usually about 5 seconds average which is enough to get 1-2 heals from them. actual stuns are the only thing that really bother me in this build

Glamours for all 3 utilities because what else are mesmers for and who better to use them as the commander needs than the commander. (yes i know i lack stun break and condi clear but i dont really have problems with getting condi burned anymore most players run power builds now.

this build has good toughness and vit but even better is about 500 hp/s regen keeping us on our feet.

Yes the damage is mediocre no I don have problems getting bags because people are stupid retal + projectile reflect on 2 focus skills and one glamour = bags. not to mention those reflects do a great job of mitigating damage as well throw a curtain up infront of a zerg at a choke point and mitigate a third of its damage for the duration. also blocks you got a couple of them because warriors and guards are your biggest threats and they are easy to predict. the phantasm traits have been taken even tho they die simply because they usually get one attack out before they die and i get 3 seconds of regeneration every time i drop one. (part of the 500 hp regen noted earlier)

This all works out as a commander that does massive team survival and enemy countering simply by being a front line mesmer. Just …. uh dont get kitteny your still wearing glorified panties as armor.

new races yes but i understand writing the story is a massive undertaking.

Weapons kinda more interested in seeing current weapons made more available on more classes but yah pole arm scythe two handed axe melee staffs all sound awesome and i would pay into the game again even as a paid x-pac to get them.

Classes oh man i would love just a couple more classes tho i know its kinda hard all the classes we have kinda fill all the potential roles. but i guess a reaction survival class would be nice a class mechanic that lets you toggle blocking from the front. skills would likely focus on knockdowns and dazes.

additionally HOLY CRAP WvW why are we not updating the hell out of the games most marketable feature?

WvW Finisher Mastery: Brand new ones only available in WvW. Tier them just like in PVP using WvW points. Use the same ones that PVP if you want or create brand new WvW ones.

so essentially you want not only mobile rams (golems) but you want a mobile army of siege? why not mobile AC while we are at it just to round things out so as a zerg rolls thru camps they can eventually get a piece of mobile siege for every single player

I agree it does overlap with guardian in several places but the idea of not having fields that arent purely elemental there is no earth elemental field the closest to that is smoke. really what i want to see out of this weapon is more field options a static field would also be nice since really only staff ele have them.

strafe left and right 600 meters at a time while attacking reduces the odds someone will notice you and realize your the ele that is wrecking their face thus reducing the odds of getting ganked

Honestly every class that has a torch uses it in a magical way yet here we have an elementalist unable to wield the magic of fire…..

Fire 4: (Rebuke)throw a fan of fire out in a cone instantly burning all enemies in range and curing one condition on allies

Fire 5:(smoke screen) smoke field blinds enemies inside the field

Water 4: (Heavens Wrath)Blast finisher drop pillar of light on target applying vuln to nearby foes

Water 5: (Beacon)Plant torch in the ground and grant light field that cleanses 1 condition per ally per second

Air 4: (warm winds)remove chill and blind from nearby allies apply swiftness

If you’re intent on only doing PvE, then you’ve got a self-imposed restriction that is making it more difficult than it needs to be for you.

Really. Tell that to the friend I knew a little time back who has cerebral palsy and can only use one arm/hand (with poor coordination, at that).

you can play wvw with one hand and win i do it daily for the sake of eating while i play. just get the guy a 12 button mouse and set auto run and his skills to it and he is fine

Situationaly.Warr signet is just 5might/fury swift,ele gets that easily without elite :-).banner is like any other class got util,i even think our revive glyph at least in water is stronger and longer range…

guardian,erm,tomes are kinda strong in some situations and virtue recharge,well that invulnerability is nice,but unless u trait virtues u wont get much from that…

thief aswell,situationaly,not a reall game changer in my eyes,god knows how many times those poor sods died with that whirling dagger storm under my blade.

mesmer,well i give u that mass inviss and time warp are really strong but CD is quite long aswell.Mass invis can be done by others better “SR,blast smoke field” so not a huge deal

I guess it ends on your preferences,i love elemental elite,thou i would welcome some more reliability in those skills which elementals got.I mean air used to stun now and than,now it seems they either miss a lot,or are hiting something somewhere around just not my target.Same goes to other atunement elementals.Only way they work well is 1v1 situations,and even than its kinda hard to land abils “for me at least”.

Can’t forget necro’s kitten golem, ping pong ball form, or massive bullseye lich form. Such great(lousy) elites there.

i dont mind lich form i have used it to kill MANY people in WvW.

alright for clarification in any scenario where a player dies the last server to have a player damage that player dies gets the point so if you die by npc but a player hit you no matter the npc the server of the player that hits you gets the point. if you cast meteor on a blob fight if you get the killing blow you get the point otherwise you get jack kitten the team that kills the other gets the points

never once seen a group that spams aoe retal in eotm EB or BL a couple guardians who run it but no real team retals are running around.
