I haven’t played competitive games after patch. What made condi reaper top 1 after patch? as i dont see any buff to focus fire survivability and mobility. It can’t mitigate the damage as good and cant kite like other classes so they run away and survive with 2-3k hp then come back while necro in the same situation go downstate than waiting for respawn and run back. Every necromancer getting hard focused knows that.
So far, based on testing and asking PvP guildies it seems we mostly agree on the following;
S tier – Condi Reaper, Daredevil, Power Scrapper, Power Rev
A Tier – Power Druid, DH, Condi Rev
B Tier (this one is more variable) – Berserker (some of them say they are crap), Power Reaper, Shout Druid.
Z Tier – Tempest, Chrono.
So you played some hot join testing and think this list is accurate? What it’s accurate for? non competitive zergfest where people just spamm buttons and don’t think. 1v1 or competitive teamplay?
Very bad list. How can be a necro top tier if its still the worst to survive focus fire? All go on necro and say bye to patch buffs. Bad teams/players got killed by necro before patch and will be killed now too. People talks about necromancers after the patch like they have best survivability mobility and dps in game which i not really agree with.
Not bad builds but i think necro need mobility skills to be competitive in meta. Slow player that also weak to focus fire is a big weakness for your team. I wouldn’t run without any mobility skills. Your team needs your help as fast as possible if the enemy team is strong and also required for kiting. That builds are more like 1v1 builds.
I have problems with skilled thiefs that kite then come back dps. Can’t really build up LF and even if have LF they also can kite reaper shroud then attack when it runs out. No problem with avarage thief
As if that wouldnt happen in ranked arena too if there’s no ladder or pip loss? ^^

When you are focused ( good teams ) you are not able to use that scepter AA boon corruption so it will be pretty much useless most of the time and will only work in 1v1 situations and teams that cant focus. Remember the motto “It’s a team game” When Ele etc. required 2 or more players to kill everyone said “It’s team game not 1v1” So i don’t see the problem necro having boon corrupt on scepter.
I’d give scepter AA boon corruption anyday for better damage mitigation to survive focus fire better/mobility and buffing/healing allies.

Necromancer have about 19-25k health. What game do you play where necromancer have 50k health i want to play it now.
Necromancer still have the same big weakness. focus fire survivability/low-med mobility/no buff/heal allies.
How they dare now we need some skill and thinking to kill necromancer! nerf fast?!
I say one thing: What necro can do for team? some conditions/condition damage ( up to enemy comp and “focus necro tactic” conditions removals and other defensive skills makes necro do low overall damage. so this and remove/corrupt boons.
What are some/most classes can do for team? high damage, high teamfight survivability, high mobility, boon spamming and healing allies.
Just play one instead of whine and enjoy getting zerged by a whole team of boon spammers

Whats the point to see this in the fail system? Favourite class: Revenant, Ele, Mesm, Druid, Engi, Guard, Thief, Necro, Warr the sequence is probabrly more or less accurate. A lot of people favour the most powerfull classes not the one they really like to play. Lets say there are a lot of peoples play revenant. They favour it and play it because its most powerful ( thats why teams like to stack it ) and most people can success with it. Revenant getting balance/nerf low skill players don’t have success anymore so revenant playerbase will drop after patch.

Overall you really getting about 50% W/L in ranked and a lot of people say the same. I have about 50% win rate ranked. When my win rate start to increase its 100% sure after that i getting many losing streak. Unranked i have 60% 70% win rate and win most matches atleast a lot more than in ranked. The matches feels more balanced in unranked. How is that? My teammates that play meta classes not die in 2sec when i play unranked and know how to play as a team. When i join ranked it starts to feel like i get some pve players that all of them dies in 2 sec. Even if there are 2-3 peoples focusing me i kite them and still my whole team lose the 4v2 or 4v3 fight o.O
So after winning i getting hard lose streak so it make sure i stay at 50%

Spectator mode for ranked?
No thanks. There are already too many system abusers. Low skilled players playing in Diamond and Legendary division games have skill of Emerald or Sapphire in a good pvp league system and the matchmaking system puts me in a random team that got same division as me abusing the system and i get a lose streak. Happens a lot nowdays i survive better with necromancer while focused than my teammates that play meta classes which is a real joke. I just watching enemy meta classes takes a lot time to take down but my teammates drops like a fly in 2sec or something like this.
No spectator mode ranked.
we just need solo q and team q. team q is not duo q + 3solo q vs duo q + 3 solo q. that is a complicated system to done. you want the system always find a match that only have 2-3 players in group and 2-3 solo. If you are joining team q you should have a full team if you want to be competetive. if you don’t have a full team. lets say you are only 2 or 3 with your friends you get 2-3 solo team q players in your team but there is a chance you will meet full premades. thats how it can be done.

So rank is no representation of skill?
Rank and League title is not equal skill it’s a fail. After playing some matches you will remember the names of skilled players ( enemies and teammates ) that can cause a lot of trouble. thats the true representation of skill.
In this game the title means nothing. You are legendary? none cares as there are a lot of peoples stuck in Ruby end and Diamond that plays better than some/most of that Legendary guys.
I feel like same in Diamond a lot of times liek i playing with pve players all they do is trying to kill the “boss” at middle but they wipe and try again doing the same bad thing that doesn’t work over and over again.When they care about winning or have brain power to listen to me and map drawing i get about 60-70% win rate for sure when not facing premades.

The build fails at not having spite and/or soul reaping.
not really good damage and weak shroud. for a little bit more survivability that will not save you anyway. But i can see this build can feel strong in lower tiers till you start meeting good players. It’s seems like to be just a let’s try to outlast that 1v1’s build. A hybrid thats not really good at anything in teamplay.

Top end player shouldn’t join ranked with beginners they can go unranked or hotjoin if they want to party. And let everyone progress in ranked where they belong to. Boosting shouldn’t be allowed. The system will be a lot better.
its total random no matter how good you are. you can be the best player ever. you will stuck in ruby diamond etc if you don’t get players that good at teamplay to take you to legendary if you are only doing solo q.
It’s very frustrating. I was 6 pips from Diamond, playing mainly solo queue with a DH. Then the losing streak happened and I lost 14 pips. It took 56 games to get back to where I was, 6 pips away from Diamond, which happened just last night. And today? 9 out of 11 matches were losses, the majority completely lopsided and now I’m back down to 13 pips away from Diamond.
I use the GW2 Efficiency website to look at my overall win percentage and any time I start to creep over 50%, Anet punishes me by horrible teammates or impossible comps. The last loss, my team had a Rev that finished with zero points. The guy above him had 20. I had 125. Sorry, I can’t carry the entire team.
I know I’m not the best player in the game by any stretch but I also know I’m decent. I know my rotations, I can 1 v 1 most classes, and I hold my own in a team fight. But because I have a relatively high MMR, I get punished hard by Anet. It’s very, very frustrating.
scoreboard points means nothing. with max points you still can be one of the worst that care less about team and more about grinding the scoreboard show off. and last ones with the lowest points also can be one of the most useful ones or one of the most focused targets
yes i feel the same. no matter how skilled you are. as a true solo q’er you will get about a 50-50% win lose ratio.
Ranked games about 50% Unranked games: having a lot higher like 60 or maybe 70% win rate for me haven’t calculated as i don’t care that much but it’s atleast 60%

You are saying that team is unkillable. Can you please upload a video later what happens if the enemy focusing on shutting down your necro? and druids after necro. i’d really like to see that team in the work.
Yes necro (reaper) still can die faster than anyone in teamfight. So it can’t be meta ever. When will this be fixed so i have same sustain like every other classes? if i specc for survivability its still not good because than i don’t have damage and also don’t have that much more survivability as most profs can catch me because they also have better mobility. if i specc for damage then everytime i get a bit of focus i close to instantly send back to respawn. The problem is the focused necro doing 0 damage and also have to build up Life Force for more survivability that helps as much so i can survive 1-2seconds better can’t run away no matter how skilled the player is it’s just not possible. very easy to shut down. easy team kill. It needs to be fixed imo.

Yes we need solo q. So we also can see who is the best progressing player at a, b, c, d profession on his own. if people want to do premade. then let them do it but only allow them to progress vs other premade.. not farming unorganized pugs.
i don’t care about queue times, but if i join pvp q i want fair match. Not wasting my time/life with running back over and over again to die in 5-6sec to a premade with pugs and thats going on for like 10mins.
Or maybe make a in game vote system that we can give up the match vs premade if everyone votes to give up or atleast 4 people vote so we can join other match fast and hope its not another premade.
The biggest complaint next season will be from all the brain dead bads that can’t grind there way past the first couple of league. Leagues were never meant to be grinded through. They are meant as gauge of your skill level. I might make it to legendary this season but if next season I can only to get to ruby as long as I feel like I’m not playing with complete nimords half the time and I don’t feel like 50% of people are exploiting a flawed system I’ll be perfectly fine with it.

First fix the matchmaking to players skill level before rewarding. As this system giving out Division titles and Legendary Pieces free for lower skilled players, pve players ( there is a good chance they will abuse the system like a lot of peoples out there), ( farming random pug with premades ) While i stuck in Diamond as a true solo q pvp’er because rare when my team is not just keep dying at mid for 10mins they don’t have the brain power to don’t try hard what doesn’t work ( most of games are like that ) and do something else that have chance to change the score. and can’t get out of that hell bad Division. and watching pve players and random names i’ve never seen in my pvp life get the Legendary title and Legendary piece so we can see here the system failed as much as possible. Your system is punishing me with Amber and Emerald like skilled Diamond and Ruby players. PvP titles and pieces should be awarded for your perfomance not abusing and premade farming randoms and win trading. so in pvp i should get teammates a bit lower skill, same skill or a bit better. Not the ones that can’t stomp/revive/ and hit the focus target also some matches i see they like to select focus target the hardest one to take down. like ele and mes so 1 player troll 2-3 of my teammates while 3 or 4 enemy doing gang party on me.
Legendary rank doesnt mean they are better players its just something to show off Real PvPers will know you from your characters name if you are a good player. You notice it when you getting hard focused by other good players and people follow you with very hard focus till you die. they want to kill you as much they forget about you kite them away from points and because they know you cause the most threat and kill everyone if they don’t stop you.
I don’t care about Legendary if the system worked better i mean if the Diamond have med-high/high skill players Legendary have high skill players only. i will still be about Diamond without any team or groups which is already done in this bad system.
There are a lot of peoples with Legendary title by now that i’ve never ever seen in my pvp life and i only doing pvp. Probably they are abusing system or free accounts or doing some win trade afk things maybe at nights when most people sleep. probably but not sure.
Most annoying thing ever when you get up t2-t3 soloq then you only getting teammates that are low skilled ( in diamond ) vs enemies close to same skilled as you or whole team about same skilled teamplayers.
Its not fun anymore getting so bad solo teammates that don’t know how to play the game. killing bosses at start making sure we lose all points, afking and simply bad at ranked pvp. a lot of people play it like hot join.
What division your friend playing? What is your friends skill level? If he know how to play to win and have skill range of mid /mid-high/high then just the system hates him and want him to lose.
That game was so bad. Yes warrior started with beast. We lost mid then Prince afk the whole game at close.
and games like that don’t allow me to get from 1 to 2 in Diamond. getting to tier 2 or tier 3 somehow by luck. then the system make sure to lose enough to go back start of the t1

I put the time in only solo pvp with my necromancer but cant get from 1 to 2 in diamond. Enemy team most of the time get better players( i mean really the system kitten with me and on the enemy team every player close to same skilled as i am or sometimes same skilled and i get some low skill player to do something with them that cant kill anyone, cant defend anything, just dying in 2-3sec with meta classes. cant res their teammates and cant stomp and cant cc, cant focus the same target ( even when i use focus targeting and get someone for example a guardian down to low hp he just need a bit more hit but they are fighting auramancer who is full hp kiting/trolling them. I rarely get a team now that actually is not bad pve like. Why? I dunno only explanation system hates me and dont want me to get from 1 to 2.
Still i will not abuse the system. Just don’t care too much till divisions not fixed to player skills.
Diamond: Med-High High skill
Legendary: High
Now its a lot of bad Diamond and Legendary players. some Med-High in both Diamond and Legendary. and rare High in Diamond and Legendary.

The problem starts there a lot of players think if they have top score then they are the best and most useful on the team that did everything to win the game when its actually possible to be one of the worst.
i just call them scoreboard heroes ( they care about how to top scoreboard instead of "how to win the game? what to do to change the score? ) that probably stuck in sapphire or ruby forever.
Remember: point hunting doesn’t win game.

I’ve said the same in my topic about Sunday solo pvp.
What i say is Diamond players should be:med-high/high skilled and Legendary players high skilled. Diamond and Legendary should show that you have skills for pvp in a good System. Whats the point of that system that solo skilled peoples stuck at maximum Diamond or maybe some of them get Legendary with luck. While every low skilled and also pve player get Legendary with abusing system etc.
Id like to see Death Shroud to work good as a ranged damage dealer that can kite good and can keep enemies far away from them. doing some damage on enemies while running or teleport skill away from danger and not just a skill that only teleport to enemy player.. so a working offensive deffensive play. Life Blast casting is also slow for todays meta. “its a punchbag shroud nothing more really.” it’s just useless compared to reaper.

League system is not display of your skill.
But if you do Diamond/Legendary totally solo then you probably have some skill and knowledge till you get there. especially if you do it with proff/build that is out of the meta.
I did it totally solo and i don’t want Legendary div with system abusing. btw Legendary div player with “low-med” “med” skill is a joke i see a lot now by system abusing. There should be only “med-high” “high” skilled players in Diamond and Legendary divisions.
The problem is the system don’t put me in team with same skilled players as i am for example. It sometimes do and a lot of times you just get some low skilled people as teammates in Diamond that cost me a match so the game system is punishing me. Last match 2 low skilled players went far at start and didnt do anything other than keep dying there. other 2 peoples are good teamplayers but we can’t win that 3v5 like match still we’ve made a lot points for the team.
Like every Sunday at solo q the matchmaking system puts me in a team with peoples that can’t kill anyone and somehow dies faster than me as a focused necromancer. so i lose most of my matches on Sunday. Enemy team gets a lot more skilled players every game that support each other while i left alone most of the time. They interrupt cc skills and revives. also revives their allies in a second that i hardly killed. My teams not doing the same.
My question is why this happening and its only me? Why the system don’t put me sometimes with players that have some skills and good at assisting/ teamplay.
On Weekdays my win rate start to increase and usually get me to Diamond t2 or t3.
Nice work guys. Maybe i should start to switch builds depending on the enemy. I usually play the same build every match till i get bored of the build
I like to have a build that good or okay in most situations without change. That build need to have good survivability, good damage able to support carry a bit low-med skill meta proff players that dies in 2-3sec at mid fight and to be able to deal with condis. Still haven’t decided which build will be the best.

i did Diamond solo only playing necromancer but probably never get legendary as the matchmaking system puts me with pugs that just leave me get zerged 1v3 1v2 for as long as the match lasts. they also can’t kill anyone most of the time. i go defend close none come to help or they are slow as hell. enemy team +1-2 me then after 1-2mins one of my teammates decides to finally go there and die alone after the end of the match some random ele that always fight outside of points call me useless
I’m lost in Diamond as Power necro can’t keep up with the amount of 1v3 and 1v2 a lot of games they make me pretty much useless most of my solo teams still dont play just a little bit of team game. they just hit a player they see and die mostly. while i kite and try survive with 2-3 peoples on me and that goes on as long as the match lasts and we lose. Also the matchmaking system most of the time put me in group with peoples that can’t kill a necromancer who is focus targeted. enemy team follow me teleport on me cc lockdown till i don’t die. I don’t understand why like 90% of my teams can’t do the same? i have to watch most of the enemy necros able to free casting dps -.- while im locked in whole match and close to insta send back to respawn.
I mean solo only playing necromancer. Just want to know to see if i still need to improve or its just not possible to get Legendary as necro totally solo, no system exploit.
if you really want to improve 3 matches is not enough. you will improve to some point but thats about it
don’t need to be good to play them. but need to be good to be sucessful. especially reaper. i don’t think necros have easy time in this meta i think we have to show some skills vs good meta players.

Im in Diamond playing only necromancer solo q. Diamond is same like Ruby. Diamond have a lot of low skilled players that still don’t know what is teamplay, dont know how to dps and focus the same target and cc or they die in 2sec. It also have med-high and high skilled players but rare. I think something is wrong with pvp system as Diamond players should know already what to do and how to assist their teammates. Most of my games atm enemy team hard focus me. i try survive 1v2 or 1v3 enemy follow me till i die none cares about it. Teammates can’t get a point or kill anyone while i kite away 2-3 enemies and also very rare when i get matched with peoples trying to help me. I had 100% win streak when the system matched me with players that play it as a team game. That happend at 12/28/2015 only. I’ve won like 13-15 games in a row if i remember correct. They just dont care about i have to fight with 2-3 peoples zerging on me everytime. I die and then the whole our team die.
Well thats about the life of solo Necromancer in Diamond)
maybe you think classes are balanced. but necromancer cant survive. which means its not balanced. after necromancer can survive 3-4 people zerg as good as meta classes and can run away with 2k hp noone can catch me then i say its balanced.
