Well, they mentioned to make all weapons available to all classes so your wish might come true one day.

Currently only Warriors and Mesmers can dual wield swords.

I really like the sword on the main hand, but I don’t really use it (playing mainly open world PvE) in the off hand. On a warrior I prefer the axe in the off hand for example.
Never tried it with mesmer.

I am sure it is viable in general but you got to like it, I’ve so far not seen a sword/sword combo as recommended in guides.

Room for improvement

• This entire armor set, despite being old skins, would sell like hot cakes if the particle effect could be died. Most people I know in game are really really over fire/lava by now, but it would be easy to dye this into ice, mist, shadow, green necro magic, pink mesmer magic… I guess I just don’t understand why you wouldn’t make that happen. Players would shower you in money.

You are most certainly correct in a technical way. However since the majority of previous updates happened on average about … three hours ago, this update is later than anticipated.

Potential camera problems in jumping puzzles and other tighter spaces. Since my “giant” is a guardian I take a “leap of faith” every once in a while.

Perceived “slowness” while running, some people really don’t like that.

Edit: I guess my question would be – did you mean Anet would invent a place or the players would? I don’t think it would be necessarily bad if the players could flock to the content they like without the feeling of missing out? (Talking in general, obviously not all players are doing the champ train either right now.)

I’m pretty sure that this was a one time deal, meaning that particular fractal will not be on the table anymore – but it may be between two others (or maybe something different anyways).

Not saying it should be, but that’s how I understood the terms. We’ll see it when we get there. I’m actually curious when that might be.

I think it’s great that it has its use and purpose in more than one scenario.

Why trying to say what is the proper use and which is not?

So is the purpose of purging flames just to cure conditions and it shouldn’t be used to burn foes?

Edit: Ok, I’ve been thinking about this some more and I can see now where you are coming from – perhaps not a bad idea because it would be an incentive also to wait for the right moment, although I think most people wait for a maximum amount of conditions regardless – or they should (?).

However, I don’t feel that this (increasing boon duration for example based on how many conditions you draw) would make guardians want to use this skill more then already. Either you have the mindset in a group to help out and “suffer” the conditions (or utilize the added benefit of turning them into boons anyways) or not.

In terms of decreasing the condition duration on yourself … not sure, most conditions are relatively short already – what would be appropriate?

a) you are taking conditions from up to 5 allies
b) you can convert those conditions again into boons if you use contemplation of purity
c) with altruistic healing you heal yourself with this skill

I’m not a number cruncher so I never checked how much it heals for with altruistic healing for example but it’s a good group skill and even works nicely solo since you are not drawing any conditions.

Edit: Maybe I’m not getting your point? I just think it’s a good skill and it’s most often on my bar.

Seriously though, I don’t think this is a very good idea and will just either lead to a certain pressure of “getting a partner” or as already mentioned lots of “invitations”. I guess there could be an “always ignore lover invites” …

How about we just make it a title with no benefits and on top of that a “Happily fantasy world Single” or something for the others.

By all means I am for adding options for the RP crowd out there, they always do amazing stuff and organize things. Could even be used for machinimas.

Increase the time between pre-events and SB popping out of the ground. Seriously, it’s no fun running up to the foothills alone, do the events and race back trying to get there in time. Nothing else is needed there.

Some others might not be done because it isn’t clear that they are part of a chain? Just guessing here.

Lower population servers would feel left out and at a disadvantage. Same with people playing outside of prime time. Confusing.

I could imagine a system more on an individual basis. Similar to some mobs that haven’t been killed for a while you get more experience – if you haven’t been to a map in a while you get some benefit like that. Should be easily visible for you though – maybe on the large map or in your hero panel.

However this could also increase tension within groups – no I can’t help you there on that map, just been there yesterday (extreme example but people may still feel pressured).

I like the idea, but I’d rather see it incorporated into crafting using different tiers of wood and leather. Maybe even different cloths if we are thinking a beach chair with a sun umbrella or metals if we are going with a “throne”.

Dyeable backpieces – very nice suggestion and often asked for.
Angel wings – the more the merrier, I’m sure there will be stuff coming our way at some point or the other.

Btw I am from Europe and live now here in NA – so don’t let this rub you the wrong way – I understand exactly where you come from. I just wanted to show that you can’t say there are only 2 french CM’s and compare that with the volume on the english forum.

It could probably be better, but I think it’s understandable that the communication works the fastest for the dev’s in their own language.

Do the CM’s really translate themselves or is that done by a 3rd party?

I think it’s futile to ponder over the past like this. BUT I actually like the idea of giving this whole system more spice. They are all pirates after all, from kidnapping to killing potential rivals everything should go. Perhaps the next election will be even more interesting. Maybe even different approaches depending on your Order, objectives you can do for your candidate…

I don’t think the sheet is lost, but you would have to learn and level that particular profession with the character you consumed it on.

You can learn all crafting professions on one character and you won’t forget anything, but you can only have 2 crafting professions active at one time and it costs to switch.

That’s how I understand the system.

The only issue I see with using a keyboard is turning with one. Players that actually do this should be identified in game (like a title, “I’M A KB TURNER”), so I can actively avoid them.

I vote nay – not because I don’t like Tybalt, he is undoubtedly a very amiable character – no it is simply because ‘spies’ don’t get statues. Vigil or Priory characters would be a different story, but Whisperers are secret.

These have been being farmed for a few months now.

I’ve been only doing this for a week now with two characters (one of them purely for this purpose) in LA and I would agree more with the 10% so far.

However reading tips in the past (none of this is new) people said that there are two tables – one for the level of the puzzle and one for the level of the character – so maybe being at the “right” jumping puzzle yields a higher result.

Fun aside, while “accidental training” happens, as soon as other players are present, why would I not play with them? I only ever experience a great comraderie of helping others. My only “complaint” would be that sometimes the respawn rate is so high you kinda want to move forward and not fight another vet/silver at the same spot.

Really depends, you can put runes and sigils in it, crafting material, food, save weapons and armour until you have enough for a run at the mystic forge. Every holiday crafting material that you get lots off and you might want to keep – zhaitaffy, watchwork sprockets etc.

If you are really concerned that you might need an account rollback then I would suggest only to put items in that you can live without but take up space.
