In essence (for me) the level of explainable technology versus non-explainable … superstition (?) … is one of the key differences. But we all draw our own lines (for this purpose).

Nothing I’ve seen so far brings the game to a whole new level – from what it has been at the beginning.

We’ve heard you loud and clear and will adjust all planks to needing 4 logs with a hotfix coming in the next couple of hours. The number 3 is rather overused actually and we are an equal number employer!

Then there is precursor crafting. It’s been mentioned that it will likely involve these materials but if the sum of the parts cost more than buying a precursor directly it will only be useful to people who place a higher value on creating something themselves than being cost efficient.

Wasn’t that supposed to be only a “reliable” way of obtaining one (besides the TP) to feel more of an accomplishment? I’m not sure, I do seem to remember that our local economist said the was watching the prices as well.

You are probably right, worse it might be that these materials in return will be used to transform them into T8 materials with their own time-gate etc.

But again – and to clarify (which I might not have done earlier) I’m not advocating time-gates – what would be the alternative? Having a random chance for them to drop at Tequatl?

Sure the materials themselves are gated – with the exception of bloodstone dust it seems – but realisticly the same applies to dungeon tokens. Run it once get full reward, after that less.

I’m looking at it as being the lesser of two evils at the moment.

Kidding aside, not much to lose other than time, if you find you absolutely don’t like the class you could still park it at a JP or a harvesting node (or area) or even just a place of power to convert the quartz crystal. with additional bagspace for those rarely used things.

If it were per character, you’d still have to get each of those characters over 450 in two crafting disciplines to fully take advantage of this, which probably costs more than buying a character slot with gold to gems anyway.

I also have nine character slots. I can only play one at a time, and in turn I can only craft materials with one of them at a time, but I can certainly play more than one of them per day.

Now I’m confused. You don’t want the weapons to be sold on the TP, yet in these replies you seem to be only talking about costs?

All I am saying is that I can understand certain decisions, many other aspects are all per account also – and not only the “bad” ones. I’d be happy with a different solution – and talking about that, let’s hope they think about something before ascended armour comes out … right?

Well, while I’m not a fan of time-gating let’s look at the alternative, low drop chances or ridiculous amounts of materials needed.

Trading time for money or vice versa is one (or the?) basic idea of a trading post. Let’s be happy that some people can concentrate on other parts of the game and not everything is soul- or accountbound by default.

Guesting is intended if you f.e. wanted to play/meet-up with your friends from different server, encouraging guesting, to be able to complete the raid is a horrible practice – highly populated servers become even more populated and low pop servers turn into deserts, I will not guest out of sheer principle.

Personally I’m neither here or there with this. One laurel is basically 2100 karma if you are thinking obsidian shards.

I think you lost me. So if over half of all people who participated in the pavillion did not farm/grind – even though it was a blatant farm spot for casuals (not sure why only for casuals) – and it is highly likely that all of those, unless they quit, are fighting Teq right now … and some guilds, as they have always existed, only want people that are decked out with bis equipment …

Those people always existed and always will. People cry all over for hard content, exiting things, lament over the “zerg” etc.
You can’t zerg Teq, no matter what your equipment is.

Yes, in general they cranked everything up a little notch for the step to ascended, including drops and the amount of gold earned, but that’s about it.

The issue is that the number does not have the same implication as how it comes across when you say it like that.

a) You make it sound like everyone farms. Consider people only doing part of the content to get their achievements/dailies done.

b) The time-frame “last week” does not indicate the average amount of time spent in the content.

c) While an indication perhaps, 3G was in no way defined (money drop only, money drop including value of vendor trash, etc)

I guess in your context (gear grinding) we could establish that 50% of the players (which are only the ones who participated in that content at that time and in no way actually represents 50% of all players) made more then enough money to be decked out with the exotic/ascended gear at that point already.

So, english is not my first language, what do I do? I find out what a “median” is.

Then, and we will not get an answer to this, you have to ask yourself what “earned in the new content” means.

The problem comes with resizing. If you resize the inventory too small three icons wouldn’t fit. But that seems easy enough to fix. Just give us three icons (deposit, compress, whatever the other one is,) when there is room, and compress it to the current setup if it’s too small for them.

Whatever works, I look at it like this: One icon is already there so there is only a need for two more. The, let’s call it “header-row” doesn’t really get a lot smaller – the only issue would occur if the window wasn’t wide enough anymore – trying to visualize this in my head, who has an inventory window open that is only 1 column wide?

Another idea could be to let us assign a short-cut, p for purge, l for “lump together”? Currently unused I think.

Tab Targeting Improvements

Can now tab target if your character can see the target (Was dependent on camera before)

Not sure if this part is desireable, I’m usually trying to target something that “I” can see, meaning I rotate the camera and I would like to tab to that enemy and not the ones off camera my character can see.

Does that make sense? What is the benefit of making it dependent on my character?

We needs an election of who is in charge to fight Scarlet.

Vote Rytlock and he will promise you glorious fights against only the toughest of enemies along with a reduction of waypoint costs so the troops can be mobilized easier. Rytlocks boasting skills make all events take place around him, Scarlet just can’t resist him.

Vote Logan and he will promise you tactical battles, umm .. running from one end of the map to the other to chase the intruders, restless. He has convinced E. Gnashblade to develop an invasion finder which will be released with a huge price cut. E. is practically cutting his own claws off! Logan’s presence make the toughest enemies reconsider invading, Scarlet will be driven off fast.

It shows you in the hints themselves which one you are missing – to the right on your toolbar up top.

Reduce the amount of “captain” events, increase the amount of champions spawning in the “minion” events – everybody happy?

Listing fee is paid when you ‘list’ the item out of your wallet, sales tax when it’s actually sold from the profit*.

I thought the gate was ok for laurels and I was kinda meh for the crystals. Now it’s starting to become more of a checklist. Perhaps there should be one button “Do you want to craft all time gated materials now?” Only if you have the materials of course.

Not something I get upset about, but it’s trending into the wrong direction in my eyes.

Really? Every profession should know how to do the same thing? Kinda odd request. Almost like asking that your armorsmith can make food buffs cause you don’t want to spend the minute and a half of putting the food in you storage and than logging on to another character to use it.

You are not “making” anything, you are only transforming the smaller into the larger item. All professions, except maybe chef, follow the same basic path and use the same ingredients for the most part, call it inscription or insignia.

That would almost be like saying only an armoursmith should be able to salvage armour and only a weaponsmith can salvage weapons.

Edit: It feels simply out of place for crafting to me in the first place.
