“Whose Charr is this?”- “Ted’s.”
“Who’s Ted?”- “Ted’s dead, baby. Ted’s dead.”
Heavy Loot Bags worked really good for me yesterday. Thanks for the tip!
Did you buy the heavy loot bags from the trading post?
I did. The wiki lists some other bags as well, haven’t tried those.
This is a MMO with heavy emphasis on cosmetics. You can safely assume demand to be infinite.
I don’t think you understand what “demand” means as an economic term.
I think we need specialized MMOconomic terms.
Doesn’t this sound exiting for the original GW players, more skills etc? That was my first thought.

Follow the link to the twitch stream.
1) They are basically still deciding how to go about this, don’t expect anything too soon.
2) They are making more things permanent – but in regards to the skins … it is my impression that these kind of items are supposed to be including memories of having been there, so most likely not.
(…)
legendary…..they could (as they did) introduce new materials also they are making T6 and lodestones easier to obtain….That means prices will probably get lower (and that is a good thing).
Oh yeah, I am not worried. However it seems to me very likely that there will be an additional need for materials (I was in particular thinking about the T6) during the leveling process – which I presume everyone will start at the same time.
I’ll wait and see, it sounds all very good.
We’ll craft different “sparkles” that are applied to armour and weapons to make them shiny.
Oh noes! Keep mats for legendary or to craft to 500 … rise my prices, rise!
Sounds really good, looking forward to all of that
I particularly liked how they chose to show Oak for a Champion, hehe.
I (almost) laugh when I run into them. It’s good sport.

Evon only wants our best, our gold and our gems. He is doing nothing for us other than discounting an overpriced item. Probably not selling enough of them anymore.
Kiel saves us money, us all.
Granted I would have preferred cookies, but still.
Pfft, what a cheap product. A key you can only use once, who has heard of something like that? Sounds like trickery, not honest hard work.
Convincing the asura to lower the WP prices – now that’s a skilled politician.
Is the node supposed to appear in all home instances of your characters or just in the one of the character that applied it?
Evon ate my puppy!
That’s right, I was walking my puppy, thinking no evil – bam the leash was empty and my puppy gone! Evon burped and smiled! Then he tried to sell me an iguana. Actually he tried to sell me a box with a rare chance of having an iguana inside!
We need balance, someone from A-net should step up and show their badge for Kiel!
Hey, I mean Colin said it’s a pirates vote! Can’t trust him now, he did the whole interview just to rig the vote!
In case you’re curious about what Colin actually said, you can view the recording of the livestream here: http://www.twitch.tv/guildwars2/c/2585362
Sounds really really good to me. Especially the “ribbon” around the living story episodes – kinda like a season (since you are comparing it to a TV show).
Looking forward to thursday.
Did your armour break? Red broken symbol – not the orange symbol for being damaged.
I like that they start to play with the branching. For a first experiment it seems to be ok. However at this point I am not truly invested in it, because I don’t run fractals. That’s pretty much the only difference if I am understanding it correctly (4 week WP or key cost reduction aside).
I liked the idea in southsun, representing either settlers or consortium via the buff. Of course the buff should be only cosmetic, but representing one side should further that cause. I most likely won’t be around for the voting but I’m curious to see how it will work.
Is that for the obsidian shards? Just asking because you can get those for laurels, fractals relics or – if you still have – bauble bubbles as well.
Where does one find the agenda of the two candidates?

Doh, I was looking under news, thanks.
P.S. My vote is up for grabs, but it’s not cheap. I can be swayed by cookies. Lot’s of cookies.
Where does one find the agenda of the two candidates?
I’m not a big jumper myself but I got 5 out of 7. I gave up on Spekk’s Lab and I’m not going to do fractals.
Personally I like the balance, you never have to get all achievements.
I also liked that we “only” had to open 30 baskets – nice change from 150.
I was a bit skeptic about the sanctum sprint – but ended up really liking it.
In general I really liked this chapter, most likely the best so far or a close second to the MF dungeon.
(…)
So is this like a mini or what ? If I am not mistaken, there is one which is guild kite, do you need gems to buy it ?
Esplen has a nice screenshot here, you basically buy the guild kite with one of the kites and gold.

“The path is set. Are you prepared?”
“Invention, not destruction!”
Could almost be an asuran cookie …
No apologies necessary, just tried to understand where you are coming from. I personally like to “farm” everything myself – I don’t think that is truly possible with the lodestones and at one point I will have to decide what to do there myself. But I’m not really starting until I have the precursor.
If you have no other use for the karma you can get the orrian jeweler boxes and you might get a couple lodestones there, but not many. If you don’t need your laurels I think the best option is still to get unidentified dyes and sell them on the TP in order to buy the lodestones. That’s all I can think off.
500 ori ore is … 20G.
That’s one of the cheapest materials? Maybe not for the gift in particular, but compared to molten lodestones around 50G and destroyer around 100G?
So there are two options, you can break a sweat and try to squeeze out another whooping 1 achievement point – or you could not bother (especially if you don’t like “gathering” for example) because “other” activities (basically the living story) award way more achievement points.
The choice is yours.
938k now, I don’t know – I have a bad feeling about this.
What cookie? We get cookies?
II think it’s from opening the kite scraps
Well of course! Am I the only one that eats them?
Think it would be neat if we can write down all the possible fortunes.
“Don’t pick a fight with a wild animal unless you know what you are facing.”
That was my fortune yesterday, what was in your cookie? Kite.
Just watched it right now, still laughing, thanks!
Ah true, the Lionguard is shorter, was more looking for it being slim. Seraph looks to be the same lenght from the screenshots.
Seraph, Lionguard … there is a few.

The recipes should be discoverable, aye.
Otherwise I like the notion of crafting becoming more “useful” for one self instead of it basically being cheaper to turn to the TP.

Edit: under BALANCE, BUG-FIXING, POLISH → Items
Here are some more GW2 specific ones.

The achievement panel will not reset, you will continue to climb up the ladder if you so will.
First time I tried that yesterday I aimed at the first pylon … too short, plumeth to death.
Maybe I’m not understanding that skill correctly.
All I would need is the proper attire to go with the mustache, then I would run away with the circus. Kinda classic, hehe.
Perhaps edit your OP
They could make it account bound regardless, I did the same thing and thought “soulbound?”. I knew I could take another one out – it just doesn’t seem to make sense.
Right?! Like, right in front of a fireplace, maybe a smoking jacket, a glass of scotch and a leather armchair…(sigh)if only I had more than an hour. Maybe I’ll work this one up fully….hmmmm
With a human head above the mantel? Lol
Asura in a servants livery in the corner, half covered with a shadow.
“Yeth, mathter.”
Had some extra down time today, so, I present to you Charrlistair Cooke, celebrity host of Meatoberfest Theatre.
Hehe, could imagine him in a traditional bavarian outfit.
Cheers
While you have to chose to unlock one weapon at each “chest” – once it’s unlocked you can take it out daily – that’s how I understood it. out as many as you like from it.
Edit: Corrected.

Deal, PvP gets more points, PvE get’s the missing PvP armours, like masquerade, plus the cool titles, slayer, gladiator and such, plus some awesome finishers.
Well I am happy to be able to chose something else then another weapon at 3000 points. By the time I get there I will likely get to 6k with the living story points. It’s just a matter of time – you decide for yourself if you make it “work” or if you are just playing for “fun”.
Almost 936k, slowed down a little bit.
Yoshi, once all 15.000 princess wands are gone I will know that you are truly committed.
Then I will support your cause.
40 character slots? Is this legit? Has anyone actually tried it? Lol.
Make every race, sex, and class combination… TWICE.
8 professions, 5 races, 2 gender = 80 slots needed.
Geotherma – as for all those tools, I assume you get them from the BL chests, why don’t you open less chests, or only once your characters are gone through the 20 slots? Similar with the salvaging items. The runes, crafted clothing and buff food could go into your guild bank – although you said you don’t want one.
I am not sure if there will be many people who have a similar problem – not when it comes to the harvesting and salvaging tools …
Otherwise I agree with you and it has been mentioned specifically in regards to town clothes (main reason why I don’t buy them anymore), but I’d rather see a different solution then increasing bag space.
Edit: Does Polla not stay account bound?
(edited by Rouven.7409)
Is the WP not contested? Most low level DE’s are over so fast, if there is no WP close enough it’s not even worth it to try.
Edit: @ Lanfear – the only thing from my point of view would be to give an increased reward for finishing a complete chain. Otherwise you might run into that scenario that no one shows up to help either.
