What do players think are the best Sigil’s for a duel pistol thief?

Use the Wiki or Google to find out where to find/farm specific material, then play/farm these areas when completing your dailies. Also don’t forget to salvage skins & armor you don’t need. Tailor is easy just refine each material until it stops giving experience and use the discover process to build one set of each armor.

Where do you get the New Transmute Crystals?

One would think they would have added a in-game message telling players this.

So the 150 yellow ones I have are now useless (all level 80 characters)?

Trying to Transmute, neither item can be dragged to either side of the transmute stone window.

Also tried two level 80 pistols, same thing, can’t get drag either one to the transmute window.

Why bother with Orr, when you can get better loot doing the timed Dragon/Low level events. I think players have figured it out. It will likely change again after Anet Nerf’s the loot for these events.

The best time to do Orr if you need to complete the maps is on the weekends when there are more players.

I really like the look of some of the Cultural Armor but, the cost vs. stats makes no sense.

Getting a precursor from the Mystic Forge is like winning the lottery, with about the same odds.

Foods like Mashed Potato’s provide a Negative to Stun damage or is the Wiki just buggered?

I’m in the same boat, what’s worst I keep losing Map Completion every time they update/patch the game, I’ve been 99% only have it drop to 98% about 8 times now.

Map rotation happens every Friday with the normal reset time but, it doesn’t always help. WvW is just crazy right after rotation and ownership can change a lot on a map between Friday night and Saturday after a reset.

Some of us, like the Dailies and don’t like Fractals.

Problem is by the time you hit esc, they are gone, I see bots appear/disappear at resource nodes all the time.

A clothing pack/backpack (New Character item with new additional space with clothes only slots) would be a nice addition to the gem store!

Can someone recommend Ascended Rings for a Thief?

Housing without the ability to customize it, would be a complete waste!

I’d like to see shops replace venders & TP , where you could see and try on clothes, armor, shop for items and sell crafted goods.

The same rewards should be available in PVE, WvW, and dungeons. Forcing players into just one of these area’s because of better/best rewards is DUMB!

Dungeons are such a click-fest, I don’t like them and because of that, I’m missing out. The champion group events in PVE are step in the right direction but, don’t scale very well when maps have few players.

Why even spawn a Group event if there isn’t enough players on the map to do it?

These events need to scale, (number and type of enemies) based on the number of players on the map and doing the event, not just spawn champions and re-spawns on some random timer. Does Anet just want players camping out on some maps (Cursed Shore) waiting for a specific event?

Maybe show the number of players on a map and show the number of players doing a Group Event!

I find it easier to complete dailies with multiple characters, new characters can complete several of the dailies while farming for crafting material and completing maps.

Why buy gems, when you can farm, craft, and sell items for needed items or gold! Farming & Crafting are always part of dailies.

Do I need to change servers to complete Yaks Bend Borderlands? I’m currently on Ehmry Bay and never seen it in control of Yaks Bend.

Where are these events that give you rares?

I’ve taken down champions in Frostgorge Sound in group events and all I got was 1.82 silver and one level 76 blue, not even worth the time.

I would still like to see specific weekend events (Molten Weekend, Destroyer Weekend, etc.) that would have increased drop rates for rares featured in that weekend.

I feel sorry for anyone who is trying to complete the Orr maps now. Almost all way points are contested all the time and there are now even more enemies than ever before. I tried to do an event in Cursed Shore this morning, there were 16 enemies just standing there with everyone else dead. I use to be able to do some of the events solo, now it’s just a waste of time.

You can only get molten lodestones from the following.

Fire Elementals (of high levels , very rare)
Chests within Citadel of Flame (Explorable Mode)
Chests within Fractals of the Mists
Large and Heavy ritual bags

There are no specific farming spots for rares like there are for non-rare material.

Champions, just make these events drag on, they last way too long now and are no longer any fun.

I have 2 level 80 characters and I use the dailies to farm different areas for specific material, advance one of my lower level characters and advance my crafting.

Remember no one is forcing you to do the dailies.

With Champions now part of Orr Events, they should be group events because you can’t solo mobs with champions.

I did 2 Orr Pack Events (Defend outpost and Escort mission) but, didn’t get credit for daily group events. Orr pack events (defend outposts, escort missions, etc) aren’t group events, really? So what are group events?

Everyone knows the Mystic Forge is random but, is all you can get as a jewel is Chryscola Orb?

What about the Crests/Seals the Wiki talks about, has anyone every seen one, what are they?

I’ve tried this a few times but, all I’ve gotten is a single gem back, huh?

What are the seals you can get, never seen a seal before?

Will the MF take embellished gems?

Does the number of Gems matter, like 2, 3 each?

I have 2 level 80 characters and go back to low level areas to farm crafting material and it helps doing the dailies. Sad to say but, the level 80 areas are so boring and don’t care much of the click fest that make up WvW & PvP. I would like to see new events added to level 70-80 areas to help keep them fresh.

Anet has said they are going to change low level areas to be more of a challenge, one would hope this will include better rewards.

I’ve spent 20+ hours farming these areas and got ZERO lodestones, even when I teamed up with someone, they got some . Tried different characters, different armor. MF gear, bars, etc.

I wish they would have weekend events, that would increase the drop rate for different rare material like lodestones.

What if any benefit is there to the Mystic Forge Satchel Recipes for armor?

I don’t get it, why waste 50 mystic coins for armor recipes you already have?

Isn’t the cost the same for making the individual pieces vs. a full set?

Are there any pre-req’s for any of the Mystic Forge recipes sold by Miyani like gift of wood, iron, etc?

Wait until an Official GW2 Expansion, then expand beyond the level 80 cap! I wouldn’t mind seeing some new character skills.

Why do I always lose map completion when the game is updated?

Happened again today, game update and map completion dropped from 96% back down to 95%.

I’m really getting sick of this!

If your not seeing nodes you can’t harvest, you need to contact support!

There are tons of Mithril nodes in level 70-80 maps , check your mini map settings so you can see resource nodes in the mini map.

How about some weekend events on different maps, that have an increase drop rate for specific rares like (Destroyer weekend, Onxy weekend, Charged, etc, etc.) .

I farmed Malchors Leap & Frostgorge Sound over the past week for 12+ hours total with over 100+ magic find and got zero lodestones. I even got reported as a bot in Forstgorge Sound. Tried 2 different 80 level characters, Omni bars, different times,
if fact I haven’t gotten a single lodestone in almost 4 months now. Now what was really strange, when I joined with another player, they got lodestones, I still got zero.

I must be unlucky, I’ve farmed Icebrood Colossus for over an 1 on two different days and only get large claws.

Do the Icebrood Colossus in Frostgorge still drop Corrupted Lodestones?

My Mesmer just hit 80 and needed some gear, so I picked up a 2 Mesmer gear box and got 2 Cleric’s Focus of Debility (yellow/rare) level 79. Kept one and salvaged the other for Ecto.

So what have you gotten?

Well I did it with the following

Mystic Forge

250 Mithril Ore
1 Orichalcum Ore
5 Piles of Crystaline Dust
5 Philosoer’s Stone

All I got was 14 Orichalcum Ore – that’s some upgrade! I was expecting at lease 25-30% of the 250 Mithril Ore to get converted.

I wish the GW2 WIKI would explain things better!

Both Orichalcum & Mithril Ore are considered common in collections!

In Zintl Holy Lands – Sparkfly Den, the Master Tailor, Chef, Leatherworker, and Weaponsmith are always dead with no way to revive them?

You can’t craft without supplies, also please add a Trading Post vender. Maybe Lions Arch wouldn’t be so full if players had more places to craft!

Do different materials have different re-spawn rates or is just different on different maps?

I’ve noticed trees seem to able to be farmed once an hour but, some resources in Orr like Orichcalcum don’t

Anyone know what the re-spawn rate are?

I’ve collected over a hundred twenty Berries and protected Byanca for over 20 mins. but, the event won’t end, still shows 95-99 percent complete.
