I know about that rune and its fine when you are a zergling but for small group havoc or solo/duo roaming its a poor choice of rune. Right now Medis are infinitely more superior to shouts when roaming/havocing. Making shouts a bit better (via pure of voice not by buffing the base) would make shouts a little more attractive without making them OP.

HI ANET.
Please make Pure of Voice convert 2 conditions into Boons instead of current one. I really wanna love a shout build for roaming but the condi clear on shouts is much weaker vs using Smite Condition and Traited Wings of Resolve . Using Virtues we can clear 5 condi with Wings of resolve (on a lowered CD) . But if you use the Honor tree you lose the 5 clear on using wings and your shouts only do 1 clear with min 24s cd on the shouts.

People whining against team queues in ranked are just using it an excuse for their own failure and unwillingness to improve themselves or work as a team.

lol, only 4 seconds of endure pain. The guy clearly doesn’t play a warrior because if he did he’d know Last Stand extends that by 25%, is on the same traitline that also triggers endure pain a second time at low health, and that same traitline automatically applies another stance that stunbreaks.
Hands up those warriors that use Last Stand instead of the awesome Cleansing Ire or Rousing Resilience in PvP ? Anyone ? Anyone?

I have a full zerk set with hoelbrak runes for open world but to be fair i don’t use my warrior much in open world (I prefer my Rev/DH/Scrapper).
My gear is optimized for WvW roaming. And for that i use marauder weapons/armor with some marauder accessories and some commander accessories for the boon duration. I like the Higher HP because i don’t use cleansing ire (i prefer rousing resilience) and as such my toughness is high but im more susceptible to condis.
Durability runes or defender runes. Both are good.

But back on topic. I couldn’t care less about what people think I should be playing. If I want to play mesmer, I will play it, and the commander can go kitten himself if he want me to change profession. But I never bothered entering squads before and I continue to do so.
I find Zerg play so boring. I prefer to roam and did so either solo or with a friend until I found some like minded players and ended up joining a roaming guild.
I’ll uninstall the game before I build my guardian as a staff guard.
I follow some zergs around just to find some battles and then go attack the sides or the stragglers. Most of the time you can get on TS and not actually need to be in squad.

The funny thing about all of this is that I run T4 fractals daily, during this season of PvP I’ve had 3.5 full sets of ascended armor and 7 ascended weapons drop randomly. Not to mention more rings and accessories than I can fit into the bank. PvP is not the path to free ascended gear that people think it is.
Well for T4 fractals you already need to have a full set of Ascended with Agony infusions. Plus you have to actually like PVE.
Some people may find it boring to “lets might stack here, lets stand here in this corner where no one can hit us” repetitive dungeon style game mode. (that’s just me being facetious. I know fractals are not all like that)
I have a full set of armor with agony infusions….I just don’t find Fractals to be “fun” for me. That’s why I like the armor from pvp.

Why is everyone complaining about the teammates they get? You all voted and this is what you guys wanted. Apparently the majority of players wanted Anet to pick their teammates for them because it was too hard to do on their own. You guys wanted a system where a player could be complete garbage that nobody wants on their team, and Anet would force others to take that player on their team.
Quoted for truth. If this season is “unfun” because of matchmaking, then people need to blame themselves for getting rid of the ability to choose their teammates.
I don’t complain about teammates because even in prior seasons I was always solo or duo queue so it was always 3 or 4 random players. At least this season I didn’t get 3 random players on my team while I duo queued and come up against a 4 man premade.
So yeah I voted for solo/duo and still believe (for me at least) that its better than prev seasons.
Only diff this season is the Ascended rewards brought in a lot of “new” pvp players who really don’t care at all about the game mode and only wanted the rewards.
People can complain about being stuck with bad team mates but the chances of the other team also getting baddies is just as high.

That 2k diff comes from Dh taking marauder which has 5600 hp more HP than Zerker amulet that Warrior takes.

As a roamer I like ascended gear so I can put infusions in for the +% damage to guard/lords/supervisors. It really helps when you want to solo flip a camp quickly and gtfo.
you know i never actually considered using those because frankly camps are easy as kitten to nuke while i need every stat i can to duel against some of those guys who would show up while im in the ring.
yes camps are easy. But what I want is to do them as fast as possible and move on so the white swords on the camp are there for the shortest amount of time. Especially when solo. I don’t want a roaming group of 5 people come running to gank me. Having +1% power infusions on armor is an extra 6% damage and +30 power which is nothing to be sneezed at.

AH still heals for too long and doesn’t require a hit , so a blinded Warrior can spam Primal Bursts and maintain nearly 1k HPS.
This is only true for Longbow burst. All other weapons require you to actually hit something.

We were thinking something like 10 per week, but it is configurable. We could to 1 a day, 20 per 2 weeks, etc.
The only problem with 10 per week is if people going on vacations for a week and failing the requirement,
So it could be every 2 weeks at least with a minimum total amount of at least 100 please.
The cutoff works just like dishonor in that if you come back and play those 10 games, you’ll go right back on the leaderboard. If you go on vacation a week before the season ends, well, then decay will remove you anyways.
Ahhh ok I understand so when you say 10 per week you can make those back on another week but the beauty is you need to play throughout the season. Having just a 100 match min and no weekly min setup you could just play 100 in the first 2 weeks and then one match every 3 days. I like your idea so long as the total min (min per week over the entire season adds upto over 100)

Is Rev + Thief a good duo combo? I haven’t tried that one yet.
“usually” Anything + Thief will be better than Rev + Thief cos Rev is just so much weaker without good support like an Ele. The Nerfs were pretty hard on Rev.

Arc Divider range should be reduced to 300 instead of current 450. Adrenal health duration should be 10s vs current 15s so that it makes it even more important to land the burst skill. Right now the cd on burst skill is so low and duration of AH is so high you only have to land it once in every 3 tries to keep it up 100%

heralds/revenants. they arent bad. people just think they are bad. they take skill to use sure but in decent hands they still provide amazing cleave. people are jumping ship over nothing. the only nerf i would reverse on them is the sword 2. that one was just stupid.
You just said it. In decent hands. But when I see all the Rev mains (prev season legend ranked) that I follow on twitch switch to DH/War/Thief then you know something is wrong. Simple a legend skill level player will still perform MUCH MUCH better on DH or War in solo/duo queue than if he stay on Rev. So why would he/she bother to stay on Rev if he wants to crack top 20 leaderboards.
I really wish ANET will publish stats of the TOP 50 on leaderboards showing the classes they played the most in Season 5. I doubt Rev will be represented much in Top 50.

This game has the most broken stealth system i ever seen in an MMO. Could write a book about what is wrong but in the end its just wasting energy for nothing.
agreed. Ive never seen Stealth like this. Previous games I played when you entered stealth your movement speed SLOWED down. In GW2 you have traits that INCREASE your speed in stealth. Also condi damage should definitely reveal like power damage does right now. Otherwise im ok with stealth stacking etc.

Wishing the servers could handle that load won’t make it so. The reality is that they can’t, so there’s no point in making threads complaining about the cap. The cap is first and foremost due to hardware limitations. Unless you’re hiding some new netcode and server stacks under your pillow, that’s not likely to change any time soon.

I think zergs would start stacking retal and you’d instakill yourself after the 2nd meteor dropped.
^ This, retaliation would be the boon of choice. The zergs would stack even closer together so your meteor shower is for sure gonna hit 20 people each hitting you for a couple hundred hp for each hit you give. Nice way to blow your self up.

thanks…thinking more about it a sigil of blood will be more efficient for life stealing since procs on crit and the CD on LB3 is 10s and 50s on LB5. I suppose its more useful in zerg fights or when fighting large number of mobs.

I would expect a loss for a top player to be more significant than a mid gold player.
I had 102 pts of decay. Played one match and was still on -2pts of decay. So decay is taken off 100pts at a time but ive received decay in odd numbers.
I believe it increments, over the course of the day, which is logical. Its 100 points per day, but the gaining of that is spread across the 24 hour period. It doesn’t tack on all at once for a given day, it just accumulates over the course of it. Hope that makes sense.

You have to be top tier player to squeeze the best performance out of a Rev (power). If you love Rev and are good at it fine. But generally the average player will get much better performance from any of the other classes like DH, War, Mes, Druid.

As mentioned above Berserker Warrior makes a better “Tank” than a guardian. You can have more HP, more Armor and keep your high damage better than any guardian can. The high HP,Armor coupled with double Endure Pain and Berserker Stance is the very definition of being able to tank damage. And meanwhile you can go crazy damage on the enemy.
You can make a good dps,tanky build on Guard but it will be inferior to what the warrior can do.

Wouldn’t be much of a “trap” if there was a big sign next to it saying “Warning: DH Trap here”
I’m on skyhammer, trying to help my team on mid, their DH is on far, I rush in, and before I even get on point half my health is gone. It actually cost me the match. Losing in that way isn’t fun.

If you know your enemy has at least 1 Dh why rush onto middle of an empty cap? I usually just step on the edge of the node. That’s enough to cap the node. And if traps go off my finger is on the dodge key ready to move. Its not that hard

Every class has some access to invuln or blocks. On my War I have my shield ready. If the DH is using procession of blades that hits 10 times. I use Shield 5 and get 10 stacks of might for free while blocking. tyvm DH.

Warrior in conquest is the most selfish class I can think of. A DH is easier to play and provides more on node pressure and if playing symbolic provides aoe team healing and aoe boon spam. If playing Virtues you have team healing and condi cleanse with F2 and team Stun break on F3.
A war brings nothing to the team except DPS.
