Not being able to spam blinds, cc, and shadowstep sounds good to me.
If it wasnt a condition then condi necros wouldnt exist. It is the backbone of a necros condition damage.
Doom (ds 3 20sec cd) has a very obvious animation.
Reapers mark (staff 5 40sec cd) not so much.
Spectral wall (spectral skill 45sec cd) is hilarious when ppl keep running into it.
Fear is in a fine place. It can be negated with stability, stun breaker, and condi removal.
Immobilize is not. Stacks (3 times now instead of 5, yay) and can only be removed by condi removal. Other conditions can cover it up, making it pretty hard to cleanse.

Personally I like your stats, but life blast can out damage necro aoe due to uptime, so it makes more sense to focus on buffing deathshroud imo.
Sure it may be hard to hit more then 1 person sometimes, but when you get positioning down its totally worth it.

you dont need unyielding blast in pvp. vital persistence is worlds better for dps uptime. if you want a minion build you need either necromantic corruption or death nova. sigils of energy help.

I 100% agree that necros need more combo finishers. Proposed changes:
Warhorn #5 = blast
Dagger #4 = projectile
Focus #4 = projectile
On a different note it would be very helpful to all that play the class if we could get a cleaving attack. We are the only class besides the engi that doesnt have one. I would settle for a reworked version of

Organized … if you want to call following one player around in a giant zerging blob organized … ok then you must be part of one of these casual zerging blob guilds. this type of gameplay rewards bad mechanics
in any other PVP game if you were to blob up on one person you would get destroyed and then probably told to learn to play better by your enemy. but because of the mechanics i mentioned the game is dumbed down to running around in a non thinking blob.
Maybe because PvP is about capping points.

If you are new to the game or are having performance issues, I encourage you to try a new key binding setup. It will be wierd at first but you will feel the results quickly.

There is no way you have 2400 healing power. 2293 is the max I have reached on guardian, and thats with the signet and mace trait.
Anyways this is not good news. Us healers gotta stick together out there. Tough it out soldier, remain vigilant, and continue keeping their ungrateful kitten alive.

Dagger shines when youre not trying to use it on someone who is kiting you. Necro has plenty of soft cc.
I do fine against hammer warriors and thieves. I’ll run in there knowing I can’t escape them forever, burst with axe then throw a weakening shroud on them. Switch to dagger/horn and pop spectral armor. Shroud dance for stability, retal, and fury, dagger burst. Use horn #5 and kite the kitten until they want to heal, pop ds and fear rupt them, then just ds1 them to death or do the rotation again. Simple. Against heavy cc spammers I rarely lose because of foot in the grave. I’m not saying stay in dagger forever, because it is a better defensive weapon then anything else. Why? The amount of damage it deals is fast, and when you are landing all crits, it rivals even thief dagger. Force your opponent to stay at range where you have the advantage.
Your regen is already perma’d at 50% boon duration. Doesnt make sense to have another source of regen that is potentially doing nothing.

I think the siphon heal in pve could work, provided you use it on a boss. Your team should put in enough hits to get the full effect.
Youre right I forgot the active effect has the internal cooldown. Unless that changes its effectiveness is pretty minimal.
For some reason Anet says they want necros to sustain themselves through siphoning but insofar there isnt really much out there for that purpose.

I wouldnt go the well route in PvP. It can never achieve maximum potential like it can in WvW.
In pvp the new heal is awesome on power builds because its the only heal in the game that actively does damage. Against players with a brain the minion is useless.
Easy to get 10 hits in by yourself when heal is active, healing for 5k (tooltip on site is broken) and doing 2k damage by yourself. Basically another 2k health for you if you figure health he does not have is health you do. If you do manage to get the full tics off with a teammate thats 10.25k hp and 5k damage. Its massively awesome. Hell of a lot more effective then the warriors heal sig that gets destroyed by poison. If your enemy runs away when he sees the mark above his head, good, cripple his kitten and burst him down with the axe.

A spreadsheet from gw2skills.net is always welcome, but from the looks of it it looks pretty good to me. I would switch out transfusion for siphoning +20% and piercing blast for +25% movement speed in ds if fighting ranged or -15% cd on ds skills if melee.

I rarely play condimancer anymore, and never have played wellomancer because powermancer does it better.
Powermancer takes the cake. I will hit a squishey via DS1 in wvw for 6k unbuffed. Its basically my job to down pve staff eles.
Imo in wvw you dont need more then 30% base precision, taking fury and deathly perception into account. You will be in ds 80% of the time and only hop out to throw down some aoe and axe+horn get the hell offa me.
So what is this being used for. I’m guessing for WvW. In that case, Stx.4857 has recently enlightened me.
Compared to what I have atm.
He has roughly the same amount of dps output via DS1 (with SoS) while having 500 more armor and base precision. I have a lot less armor, higher potential damage, and well utility.
You never want to stack precision in a damage dealing build. ~80% crit chance in DS is enough.
A few small things could be changed on the necro to make them fit the meta. Make furious demise group fury. Give us a cleave melee weapon. Improve vuln capabilities. Give us blast finishers on axe 3 and warhorn 4.
You give us group fury and you make us a good fury source for the group. No need for eles to take persisting flames on LH builds so they can take more dmg modifiers.
Reworking pve to make chill, weakness and fear more useful is far too big an ask to make necros viable. The best way is to get the necro some small changes which allow it to fit the current meta better. And hopefully with new boss encounters, control conditions will start to be a bit more effective aswell.
Every control condition necro has thief can do better (besides vuln) while providing stealth, more dps (maybe yes no ok), might stacking and some fury.
It seems necro is the jack of all trades filler class that no one at arena net knows how to fit into pve.
Blast finisher on axe#3 and horn #4 would be welcome (prefer on horn #5 for wvw) while providing cleave would be huge. On top of group wide fury (and maybe vigor, deathly invigoration anyone) and I would say I agree with you all the way. Probably move furious demise to grandmaster minor trait, give blood tree a decent damage multipier, and I think we have a recipe for success.
75% boon duration is nifty on guardian for maintaining perma-prot, might stacks, regen, and more stability in wvw. Dont tell anyone I used boon runes though, it would hurt my cred.
I dont play ele a lot, but I know how hard it is.
Its one of the few classes I dont mind getting rolled by. Imo eles dont need a buff every other class needs a higher skill ceiling.

Norns have the best justice system, they don’t believe in collective “evil”, they only care for individual actions, if a specific Son of Svanir never did anything bad, why care less about him?
And that is, in my opinion, the most ridiculous justice system ever concieved. If they are part of an enemy faction that openly wages war with you and consorts with your greatest enemy (jormag), then they are the enemy period.
True, but, by keeping the enemy part of the society there is no room for it to form its own. Only when the Sons of Jormag realize that this is whats holding them back is when a civil war will break out, which hasnt happened yet in my opinion. If the Sons realize this by creating their own society, then they will have to choose a method to deal with the ones who oppose them. They will essentially be creating their own enemy.
Sometimes I think these engi bunker types don’t take our battles seriously which worries me about the status of our relationship.
