Stacking is awful. There should be mobs that are anti stacking to make it more diverse.
Too much sparkly crap in game already. It get’s annoying when you see colorful footsteps everywhere when more than 3 people have the legendary weapons, cannot imagine how it will look with sparkly armor. Unless they can give us a way to turn off legendary particle effect nonsense.

on top of this it feels like key drop from map completion was nerfed. I’ve completed the world 3 times since the 15th and 3-4 keys tops. I think I am being generous with that number.
I’ve been told you get keys etc from it but not got one keep so far from any map completions.

I hope they get rid of those lame weapon skins that put out a few months ago, tormented I think. None of them look good, hard to think people complained about them being put in when they look terrible. The flame skins blow tormented out of the water in looks.
Lot’s of people are being ignored. Mesmers have been saying clones don’t get the town clothing etc and many classes have pointed out bugs and flaws and nothing has been said.
That’s great, just hard to give up Travelers runes because they’re so useful. Them not fixing staff clones makes me want to scream. But someone told me the mesmer designers left Anet and the current devs don’t know how to fix some of the core problems without redoing the class from scratch. So maybe it will never get fixed.
Osi did they ever fix the staff clone bounce? =/
I find offhand sword more useful but in roaming and zergs GS has better utility even though I hate the gaudy way it’s used.
What would have been cool is people pooling power to summon giant elementals like the Centaur did in the battle for Shaemor type fight. Except on a huge scale, Earth, Air, Fire and Water.. along with lasers etc like it drained Tyria’s life force just to summon these guardians of the planet to restore nature.

Talk about uninspiring. -.- I find Sylvari to be boring, they speak boring, their standing animations are boring, people tend to dye their armor and Sylvari all one color and some Sylvari faces get the cookie monster googly eyes going on.

Anet says one thing, does another and they have people defend them on forums for it. Luckily most people are smarter and don’t appreciate the deception.
Look at politics, some people were all exited thinking something was going to change for the better and even when it doesn’t they blindly follow and justify it all by blaming the people calling out why no change for the better happened.
Females have better models, Males have better armor design. Look at some of the gem store armors etc, look bad kitten on males and on females they look stupid and prissy. Some of my characters are prissy but I wish I could just have a standard robe for my females without having to roll human. Cannot stand the plastic looking human female faces.

LS can do anything an expansion can and is free which makes it superior if you ask me..
An Expansion wont make the Gem-Shop go away or approach Game Design flaws in a different way than we have seen with LS in the past.
Free don’t mean better and the content is temp which new players or players on breaks will not get to see. The LS felt rushed, the end was pretty confusing and felt they lost what they wanted to do with it. I’d rather have an expansion with new armor, areas, dungeons and maybe a WVW zone and more world events.

I didn’t realize the OP had stated everyone dislikes the new armor so aren’t they already speaking for their self? I find the new armors kinda odd, different but meh. Not my taste but at least they’re putting out new armor. I’d imagine more and more styles will come out and hopefully more trench coats..
I have a question…
I currently am not playing the game, but you are placed into a zone with people from other regions and servers. Theoretically, you can be placed in a pve zone with people from a rival server that you are battling in WvW that particular week.I can’t imagine the flame wars, the trolling, the griefing, the immature name calling that must be going on. True, some of us are adults. But I can definately see people abusing the ability to troll people from opposing servers they are playing. I.E. the competitiveness of WvW starts to drip into PvE and could make the PvE zones very toxic and uncomfortable to be in.
I bet arenanet spent a pretty penny on megaservers, so I guess theres no turning back.
Yes it’s pretty toxic. There were some people derailing train and swearing at people telling them that trains make new players crap and they already have to put up with new players etc so why make it worse. It’s bad, really bad and the flaming can be over anything and everything. I feel bad for new players because they’re getting bombarded by idiots spewing nonsense 24/7.
I have found tagging mobs to sometimes be a chore on my lowbie. Level 80’s with zerker or equal gear killing most event mobs. I had 2 fire eles just spaming their spells and nobody could tag very well because their AoEing was killing everything.
Feels a lot slower and having no traits til late makes me glad I have only one alt starting out. Leveling isn’t hard but now it all feels tedious. Guess I can try leveling via spvp or something. Some of those traits really made leveling more fun, I enjoyed some of them.
Starter areas are now terrible, jerks from other servers bashing the server they’re on. Tons and tons of trolling and idiots galore. I was just in Queensdale this morning, every 10 minutes there is a fight amongst people, culture bashing, obvious trolling guised as “playing how you want” and constant religious/cultural/racial bashing. It’s a mess.
at least those “random” farmers could move/guest on other server and do what they do in piece. And now? Here is my wife all angry cos she can’t play content she like without being called noob, go away scrub etc. and thinking about quiting the game.
Seen this too, a few people were killing a champ and telling people to go away and swearing at them etc.. there are so many more places than QD to solo champs or test builds but these people just like to make trouble.
I was in queensdale and had the opposite groups of people were camping champs and calling everyone noobs for running a train and trains make it hard for newbies to solo them. I was like most 80’s have issues soloing champs.. a new player would get stomped. >.>
Old trait system was better, could get access to better move speed, lowering attack cooldowns or adding a little bit of added power and crit to feel more powerful, now it just feels like you get nothing for leveling and feels slow.

The overflow popup makes me mad, it ends up disrupting me most of the time.
How did you get 1836 condi damage? I’m at 1.3k and cannot figure out how to boost it anymore.
I’m trying this with permeating wrath and it’s great but only 1.2k condi damage even with signet -.- and hate guardians low hp. Not sure what weapon to even use, been using a hammer.
People solo and duo dungeons why not go do that instead of complaining people are attacking open world bosses.
That’s why I suggest it, even with my mesmer having close to 1.9k condi damage her burn gets overwritten sometimes by people with less condi, it’s strange and guards normally don’t have enough condi to compete most often. With this change Guardians get a unique burn, one that stacks with other guards and isn’t limited to strictly condi scaling so people could go straight burn with traits etc.
Guardians need something bad.

This is the first patch where I feel really \o/ about. The whole skin thing alone is pretty kitten awesome.
Most people are talking bout the buggy parts not the skins etc. How would skins effect mesmer play? Besides the clones sometimes not taking the players skin.
Guardians should have a separate burn from other classes, they do not have enough condi to compete with the amounts of burns being tossed up. My idea is to have the burning turned into righteous fire. The fire would burn pure blue and stack like bleeds. It could scale on a combination on power and condi. It would allow multiple Guards to stack the burn.
I’m confused, you guys are complaining about complaining, name calling and assuming because the patch is good for you it’s good for everyone? Also saying people complaining are the “minority”? I find this funny, everytime someone doesn’t like something someone says, that person is part of a “vocal minority”, but then when that person feels they’re right, everyone is behind them? Hahaha.
My complaint is mesmer bugs and limited dying abilities on town clothings. These are bugs, not whining, these need to be fixed. Maybe OP you should realize this before generalizing everyone negatively.
I swear, these forums are special and people put together a list of broken things and bugs and lots of people can back up the claims and still we have obtuse people coming in telling everyone all is well because for them it is. The people within the GW community never cease to amaze me with both great generosity and helpfulness and some with their astounding ignorance and blind views.
I think people are just annoyed with the bugs and things being broken after promises of fixes. I do so enjoy when something doesn’t effect someone and then they expect everyone do just be chilled out because they are. But that’s the story of human life, if something’s not happening to them, they don’t care.

actually most of the complaints are unfounded, if people just calm down and take the stick out of their butts anyways.
Actually for my class and the issues I’ve had they are founded, why don’t you stop trying to goad people into giving you negative responses? There will always be overdramatic people just like there are a ton of white knights for anything that get’s put out.

Some of us players have real complaints with broken skills, trait system hampering alt leveling and some pvp changes. Not all of it is gloom and doom if it’s backed up by facts. Some of you need to look outside your own little fish bowl world.
Acknowledging legitimate complaints doesn’t mean that you can’t be positive about the things which are positive, either.
I may never want to level an alt again with the new trait system, but that doesn’t mean I don’t love things like the Wardrobe.
The wardrobe is great but I do not like the limited dye options for town clothing etc. Didn’t like the change to transmutes etc but the wardrobe and dye system is fantastic.
