That’s why you should never give a quaggan a paintbrush.
“Why exactly did you ask again?”
Because I wanted to see how silly your answer would be and you obliged. Treb Mastery enhancing your game play? LOLOL
As I said before, you clearly have much lower hopes/desires for WvW than many of the rest of us. Just because you’re willing to settle for fluff doesn’t mean that we will.
I’ve learned something here.
You’ve never seen me on a treb.
Odd that you left out the orb concept coming back and the subsequent map changes.
The mesmer focus has a speed boost built into it too. How come mesmers never bring that up?
I was about to… but of course it’s practically the only reason I use a focus off-hand. I’d rather have a sword or pistol off-hand personally. Now, when running with the pack I don’t need a speed boost if the group is providing boosts on the move, so it’s really not that bad.
Advent, Faolain is dead.
True, but I wasn’t thinking of her personally. Who’s this new Sylvari that showed up at the opening ceremony? Possibly she’s also of the Court.
Hopefully BG can pull itself out of this slump. Not sure what is up with that server but it’s obvious they need to fix something. Consistency is an important aspect of WvW.
To go from 1st place straight to 3rd is unheard of.
Lol not when 2 servers is doesnt even attack each other and constantly send their zerg to take all our keeps and towers. We cant defend when 2 servers constantly attack us.
I remember feeling exactly like that on JQ as well to be honest. I’m not claiming that BG and SoR were double-teaming us in the past, but there were times it certainly felt like it. Odds are it’s more an internal thing however… numbers lower from a little burnout, seeing the same servers over and over again can take a little of the bounce out of your step. It seems to happen to every server that sits on top for awhile. Soon enough, if the trend continues, you’ll drop down to a more pure tier 2 type match for a week or two (not seeing either SoR or JQ) and one of two things will happen… BG will either begin to fade into mediocrity as many servers have, with guilds jumping ship and people losing interest, or the change of pace will rejuvenate the WvW crowd and things will turn right around again. So expect a month or so of growing frustrations and an overall sense of ennui, but the fate of BG will depend on whether the community pulls itself back up with a fresh restart or fades away to the lower tiers.
Hang in there kid, you can do this.
@VOLKON you are not right.
There are no new bg maps comming. There were forum post on " have fun with kraits, you may not have soon"
Treb mastery – really? I am waiting to Flame Ram mastery
Huge announcement – it will be for PvE, for WvW it may only ne some content, but majority of WvW players want to repair bugs or improve mechanics(commander). Queen in PvE cannot just say: hey towers in WvW will not have bugs anymore
Soon – does not really mean 6 months. If you are ordering something on eshop and they have delivery date: comming soon, will you wait 6 months? For new Video card maybe? Or will you take your money and buy something where you will know when you get it?
Apparently you haven’t been keeping up with current events, but that’s ok, there’s a lot going on. By new maps I’m referring to the orb changes. From what we know, we’re to pay attention to the center area of the BGs, the quaggans are going away, and the krait will be gone. So there will either be an empty body of water with an orb-thingie on the island or, more likely, the map will be changed and the lake itself replaced with something more significant. I don’t expect imminent changes to anything around the perimeter, just the lake area.
Treb mastery, yes. Hopefully ram mastery will be all you hope for.
Yes, the Queen’s Speech announcement will be for PvE. Although I spend most of my time in WvW, it’s not all I do, so yes I’m looking forwards to that as well.
I don’t need a new video card, what are you talking about?
It won’t be the speech, it’ll be what happens during the speech.
It’s going to be huge, apparently, and it’s going to tie in the events of the living story to date if I recall. So, what would tie together the Aetherblades and the Dredge & Svanir alliance? If it was something “simple” as "Hey, the Tengu have opened up their city (and we can play Tengu) sure, that would be huge, but it wouldn’t tie anything together. So what’s going to do that? Is there a greater foe manipulating the enemies that’s going to step out of the shadows? There’s a Meta tied to this and it’s being kept as secret as possible (impressively), so perhaps this foe makes his/her move during the speech, something happens to Jenna (there’s a meta wrapped around this), and the stage is set for a larger foe for the future. It’s unlikely anything significant happens to Divinity’s Reach, the Jubilee is staying open for example. But that wouldn’t rule out an assault on an ally of D.R. on a city…
Ugh. They said it’s going to be huge. We need to think in those terms. Queen getting married… sure, that’s lovely, but hardly huge or a “tying together” type of thing. We do still have that mystery Sylvari that showed up as well at the opening ceremonies. Hmm… maybe, just maybe, the Nightmare Court has a role in this behind the scenes that has so far been unnoticed. They could have manipulated the Dredge and Svanir as well as the Aetherblades through nefarious means…
Six freakin’ days. Sigh…
Curiosity question: What is your definition of “soon”? One month? Two months? Three months? Six Months? I will bet $100 that you don’t even care, whereas the rest of us would greatly prefer something more definitive. An answer that can’t reasonably be quantified is not an answer at all.
Besides, there are SO many more things that WvW drastically needs (balanced matches, reasonable queues, bug fixes, better grouping mechanisms, less lag, evolving content, newer maps, etc) that giving us orbs is like fixing the cigarette lighter socket on a classic car that’s been abused. It’s amusing that you have such lower regard, and therefore lower expectations, for this game than the rest of us do.
Lower expectations? No.
Less need to issue demands and whine and complain about things I can’t control and a greater willingness to trust them to do what’s right when they can? Yep.
What can I say, I’m a fanboy that’s still having a blast in WvW. I look forwards to what’s coming rather than lament about what hasn’t.
I notice that you didn’t answer my question, but then again … yes, you are most certainly a fanboy.
By the way, exactly what are you looking forward to? I’ll bet you can’t describe it in terms that wouldn’t make you look foolish to someone contemplating buying the game.
What is ‘soon’? Whenever. When they say soon, it’s within a couple months. I’m patient, I can wait. What am I looking forwards to? Right now, a few things. Treb mastery is something I’ve been waiting on. I can already knock a flea of a sleeping dogs butt with one without waking the dog, so this should quite nicely enhance my gameplay. New BG maps coming soon with the new orb mechanics, looking forwards to seeing how that plays out. I’m also curious as to what the ‘huge’ announcement is going to be made in the Queens Speech. Supposedly it’s going to tie together the L.S. updates to date, should be interesting.
Why exactly did you ask again?
The only one time event I would care to see, is them dropping a nuke on Southsun.
Great… Karkazilla.
Look at the changes to the orb system. For so long we’ve heard that that’s something they’d really like to do. Now, suddenly, bang. It’s not just something they’d like to do, it’s something that they can confidently tell us we’re getting and getting soon. We have no idea how many times they came across issues and had to go back to the drawing board or even that it was definitely being worked on, and as such you didn’t see people demanding details on when it would be released, why they lied about when it would be released, why they hired such crappy developers and other ridiculous complaints. It’s ready, it’s coming, it’s as it should be.

No and stop saying here’s the reality…lol
You’re right… there will be forum bashers and crazy internet users saying those things… it simply comes with the territory as i’m SURE Devon knows….
What is worse though….being as transparent and forward as you can and giving the majority of your customer’s the knowledge that you hear their concerns and are actively showing them that you DO have a plan and for them to hang on help is coming and dealing with the negativity of some posters?
Or…don’t say anything because you worried about some negative posters on the internet and don’t update your customer’s at all…
The reality is (I changed that for you ) that they’re doing this already. Devon and others quite often are in these very forums acknowledging issues and giving us as much information as they comfortably can. Will it ever be enough information for everyone, no, of course not. But it tends to be a lot more than other games I’ve played. Give them credit for what they do.
Bear with me, you’ll see where this is going. In TF2, they have “capture point” style maps as well, but a lot of them are more straight line… you push forwards, capture a point, push to the next one, and capping a point unlocks the ability to cap the next one in line. If you get to the end and cap the fifth and final point you win the match. Time limits are longer, but there is one. The more I think about this the more I think it could work, and it also works in with the capture style of the PvP maps.
Anyone familiar with these maps, and do you also think they’d work as a different style of capture point map for GW2?
A little TF2 for some silly fun shooter stuff and MineCraft with the Pixelmon mod with the kids. Of course, the kids both have GW2 accounts as well, but they tend to wander around many games, especially Roblox.
I tend to play a variety of alts in WvW, so account based would indeed be lovely. It’s hard to only have one main.
A lot of love for JQ in this thread! I guess you guys missed us that much huh?
I have to admit it… as refreshing as it was to drop down for a couple weeks vacation, it’s nice to be back where it’s on for real. I did learn one thing though… Maguuma can troll the crap out of the forums. Man, they were unreal!
So those of us with well over a thousand hours in WvW spread across five or six characters based on needs of the group…
So you want to take a really bad idea and add layers of complications on top of that. Lovely.
I think its a good idea. It solves one of the biggest complaints in WvW – and one of the reasons for server stacking.
When you have relatively equal numbers, regardless of what that exact number is, WvW is so much fun.
When there is a large difference in population, WvW is less fun for all involved – whether you’re the large pop team or the small pop team, it is less fun.
Solves them? It creates dramatically more problems by not allowing people working in non-prime time zones for their server to actually represent their server. I’m on Jade Quarry. I identify myself with JQ in game. Why should I be forced to represent some foreign server that I’m not even on because I had a change in schedule? That’s absolutely ridiculous. Without that identity you’d also be opening up “foreign” servers (those not our home server) to trolling by people forced to fight on them that don’t give a pile of flung monkey poo about them. I’m certainly not going to make any significant efforts to help a server win that I don’t care about… they’ll be nothing more than WxP farm locations at best. Why report an enemy group about to hit a tower when I can wait for them to flip it and join the group taking it back? T3? Who cares… it’s not my server.
Believe me, this idea would be the death of WvW as we know it.
No one is ASKING them to promise…we’re just asking for SOMETHING. Again..here i’ll even EXPAND on what I said…since you can’t seem to grasp it:
Anet: I’m sorry guys the commander system is taking longer then we anticipated to complete because of some unforeseen integration issues, we hope these setbacks won’t put us back longer than 3 weeks, but we will see as we go and keep you updated when we can!
See how f’ing simple that is? I’m not asking for UNREASONABLE expectations…but having SOME expectations..would be nice lol
Edit: It would just be nice to know they have a plan..and are working on it with a little more detail then…yeah..we’re on it….when their track record has been less than stellar in this area..
But that’s just is. If they give you something, even a “Hey, we think we might have a new commander system in three months or so” you know right well that there will be a significantly loud group of people that take that as gospel that it’s being worked on and promised in exactly three months. Admit it… that’s the reality of the internet. Look at all the “Cantha confirmed” jokes that pop up if any dev even hints or mentions something remotely Canthan related; those jokes are based on the reality of unrealistic expectations. Look at your scenario… they say “commander in three months” then have a set back or, gods forbid, have to set it aside to work on something completely different. How soon do you think the “you lied” posts and the “crappy developers” posts would be popping up? Within minutes, I guarantee it.
So here’s the reality. They know what they’re working on and have really good idea what they’d like to work on or will be next. We’ll find out about these things when the release is about as assured as it can get to prevent the above scenario altogether. When they tell us we’re getting something, that means we’re getting it, it’s as solid as their testing can tell, and they know exactly when they can release it because it’s been cleared to be released on that date.
Look at the changes to the orb system. For so long we’ve heard that that’s something they’d really like to do. Now, suddenly, bang. It’s not just something they’d like to do, it’s something that they can confidently tell us we’re getting and getting soon. That is total garbage. A customer is a customer, period. It doesn’t matter if the “customer” has signed a contract for a deliverable, or if he pays for a collection of items on a per-unit basis as he sees fit, or if he doesn’t pay for anything at all. If the company wants to keep people on the hook they need to meet some minimum portion of their expectations … the obligation on the part of the company is exactly the same in each situation.
Fundamentally, ANet isn’t giving out free anything … that’s simply a clueless perception. Their business model requires that they meet customer expectations on an ongoing basis or their revenue stream dries up. Maybe Anet has decided that WvW isn’t a significant contribution to their customer base, and that would be fine and reasonable if so, but until they have the integrity to tell us that directly we have the right to expect better service than we’ve been getting.
I’ll make you a deal. You go on ahead and keep believing that and I’ll properly respect your right to be wrong.
Hello, I’m reality. Have we met?
You’re doing one of those apples/oranges things you realize, yes? As a developer myself, I realize that there’s a difference between delivering something to a customer that has paid/is paying for a product at a certain deadline and a gaming company like ArenaNet that is effectively giving out free content when it’s ready to enhance the existing game. You’re describing the former, the business contracting out work to a developer and expecting a deliverable at a certain deadline. This is not that scenario. A more realistic scenario based on what you’ve mentioned is a customer that already paid for and received the product and finds that they get free updates to the software as they become available.
Now that sniff of reality. They know exactly what they’re working on, and they know exactly when they’d like to have it ready. They’re also realistic enough to utilize the fact that there’s no hard deliverable deadline to perfect the deliverables before they ship, giving themselves release flexibility in exchange for quality of product.
You know… as a developer I too wish I had that degree of flexibility in delivering the product. That means I’d be working at ArenaNet on Guild Wars 2 and would be absolutely giddy about how life is going. Hey Devon… if you ever decide to shift a lot of data to a mainframe for the massive data-crunching capabilities let me know, ’k?
Fair enough, even using your example, you have a project plan no? You know what you are currently working on….how long it will take…a best and worst case scenario…and you can at least predict a month or so out what you PLAN to deliver even in a generic sense…
example: We are currently working on fixing the commander system and how it functions, it’s at the top of our list in priorities and we’re hoping to have it done in 2-3 months.
If it changes…so be it…kitten happens….but for crying out loud don’t sit here and give us a BS answer that you have NO IDEA about ANY time frames or priorities on what you working on? That’s a load of BS, I don’t care what developer it comes from….paid for…free…open source….
Do you actually think they don’t have any project plans or projected completion dates? Seriously? There’s a significant point you’re missing, either willingly or by misunderstanding… they don’t need to share with us their project plans or expected completion dates. They choose to do so when something is near enough to completion that they can reliably and reasonably be sure that they’ll meet that date, because that means the deliverable is pretty much ready and nailed down. Now look at the commander system you’re mentioning… we don’t know what’s happening behind the scenes. They could be in the early design phase, in which case there’s concepts being gone over and not much else. Kind of hard to place a date on that, yes? Maybe they’ve settled on a design and are hammering out the features. Maybe they know exactly what they want, on paper, and are starting to code. Could they give a date then? Not really. What if something else comes up that takes greater priority? What if they find the new system is having integration issues with the existing system and parts of the existing system will need a redesign if they progress with the current commander system design so they need to decide which path to follow? Even if they have a system up and running in alpha it’s still too soon to give a hard date, who knows what testing will turn up. Everything seemed to be going fine, but integration testing found a fairly significant error that requires it being backed out. Until whatever is being worked on is in Beta and performing up to expectations, has been enhanced with ideas and changes that were determined to be worth adding/making, etc. you’re fooling yourself if you think we’ll get a date or even the fact that something is close to release.
Or, let’s ask this question… what if they “promised” a new commander system in three months and it turned out it wasn’t ready?
Devon’s a PR.
What the heck is a PR? I am a designer and the coordinator of the WvW team. I am in charge of making the decisions as to the implementation of and final versions of anything that gets put into WvW. While part of my job is to post on the forums to keep y’all informed, it’s also part of my job to not make promises that we can’t keep. So, my answers come off as vague, because that’s as much as I can say. If I’m saying anything, you should consider that to mean something, because if it is a topic I have absolutely no information on, I won’t talk about it at all.
I am just curious as to how the heck you guys do release/version management and project planning and have absolutely ZERO idea WHAT your working and WHEN it will be finished? I can tell you as a developer I WISH I had a deliverable’s like that….
Customer: Hey when is that feature or functionality going to be finished, a week? two? 3 months? a year?
Developer: It’ll get finished when I get to it….could be 2 weeks could be 3 months..or a year? I DON’T KNOW YET…
Customer: Maybe a ballpark… rough idea?
Developer: Listen, I don’t even know IF I will be working on that feature….heck I don’t even know if i’m GOING to implement it after I work on it for a few weeks…heck I don’t even know if I AM going to finish it…so just shaddap and when I get it all done…I will let you know a week a head of time…that I will push it to production…so quit asking questions!
Customer: You’re fired…i’ll find someone else.
LoL

Quoting Colin from another thread on this matter:
The setting adjustments you can make currently will expand beyond just WvW, and simply be a game wide setting you apply for culling rules. For most folks, this means you can adjust the settings to actually improve your performance over current performance if you wish, since fallback models and name-tags are cheaper than full model renders.
If you do want to turn everything up to insane, you also now have that option to see an extremely large number of people in all their graphics glory. The choice is entirely yours!
In other words, yes you will be able to adjust culling levels the same as WvW.
I’m looking forwards to seeing how L.A. looks when I can actually see everyone! I suspect we’ve only seen a skeleton of its actual bustle.
NA servers should get points from a 8-10 hour window and EU servers should get points in a 8-10 hour window. When they finally get Asian servers, open a 8-10 hour window for them. All off-hour fighting should be pooled into off-hour servers.
What an incredibly bad and poorly thought out suggestion. Or… do you actually think everyone that lives in your timezone works the same hours you do?
This is why I said you can represent 3 different servers at once. I guess it could also be one server just split the ranking into three time-zones. During NA prime, you are fighting other NA servers of equal rank. During EU prime, same thing. During Asian prime it switches again. At the end of the week, server’s will be rated in their time-zones. If you have a strong NA, you move up in that slot, if your EU sucks, you move down in that slot, and so on. I like the idea of being about to represent different servers because some servers are drastically different in different timezones. You can pick servers that are the same to your liking. If you like small combat, pick those type servers. If you like zergs, pick servers that have strong showings in each of the three timezones.
So you want to take a really bad idea and add layers of complications on top of that. Lovely.
Do people seriously think this is a legitimate tactic? All those walls exist for a reason, and so does the portal block.
if you were intended to be able to go from the citadel to the garrison the cliff would be a lot lower.
Walls? Since when have walls ever been an issue to portals? The only issue is being able to get to both sides of the wall, that’s all.
Can’t you forge mini-pets into new ones?
the reward system for the birthday gifts is kind of….well, REALLY stupid. I’ve been here since the early release in August, but I sure as hell don’t have any characters that survived that long (especially with my constant remaking with no makeover kits or name changes back then). So I do hope they will somehow make it when the account was “born” rather than a character that comes and goes.
Sandy, it’s for each character on their respective birthdays. Assuming they follow true to GW1 form, every anniversary for each character they’ll receive a birthday present. So no, it won’t be based on when the account was created, but instead for each character on the account when they were individually created.
… Which, on reflection, means that we could have a small stockpile of Queen Jenna’s in our storage. Hmm… to the Forge!
The Queen will be getting married!
It’s not Logan.
Run.
Same as a basic (or less)? Crap. If it were the same as a mystic or even a masters I’d be all over it.
Gods save the Queen!
Wait… we have a mage?
No, he’s saying he played a mage in World of Warcraft before, and despite thinking that was OP, it doesn’t come close to some of the builds available in this game.
But I guess feigning ignorance is the way to go nowadays.
You sure that’s what he’s talking about? The only time I see WoW mentioned is in a negative spurt at the end. Beyond that I can’t decipher much at all.
Could be mage in any game, World of Warcraft being the most prominent. In any case it’s irrelevant beyond your own opinion of whether or not the mage class in that game was OP in relation to some of the stronger builds in GW2. He is definitely not referring to the elementalist as a mage, if that’s what you are insinuating.
The op is trying to blame his atrophied skill on “power creep of equipment” I think. This is nonsense, considering a good half of us still wear the same thing we have done for the last 6 months with maybe a tiny adjustment from a handful of ascended items.
While there isn’t much of a powercreep going on with equipment, there is a power creep going on within builds.
His problem is that he has left the game for a long time and in that time people have learned to play their classes well.
While this is true, your profession / build will trump player skill in a lot of cases. Even an exceptionally mediocre phantasm mesmer could beat most melee players for example.
He also seems to be playing a condition elementalist. I play one myself and I do not make the mistake of thinking I am a warcraft mage.
He’s not playing an elementalist.
My advice to the OP is to go roll a necromancer if they impress him that much. Also, go get practice in and learn to play the game as well as everyone else who didn’t leave for a half year period to do something else.
So your solution to imbalances is to roll whatever is FotM?
I honestly have no idea what he’s talking about.
Wait… we have a mage?

Ascended gear will ruin wvw
Sure, like it already has, right? /sarcasm
Wait… we have a mage?
5. I honestly think with the modest size of your maps and how many people are crammed into them. The waypoints upgrades should be removed.
5) I agree and we will likely remove them at some point in the future. However, to do so requires additional work because of the complexities of the upgrade system. It’s not as simple to do as it should be. But we have to work with the tools we have.
WHY? Why would you do something as terrible as that? Its a pain in the kitten already when we have waypoints up. Removing them removes any reason to even try to do anything in WvW. Unless you mean removing the need to build them (have them always active), then I guess thats fine, though not sure why you’d do that either.
I’m pretty sure you’d force alot of people out of WvW if you ever make that change. I know I wouldn’t play it as much, if at all.
I agree, removing waypoints would be far more detrimental to WvW than beneficial. You’ll wind up with much less going on as more people will be needed to stay at home and keep eyes on keeps. Staying at home is boring for a lot of people, so the inability to ever be able to travel quickly will begin to suck the fun out of it to a degree. That should be the lowest priority on the list, somewhere beneath “flossing the neighbor’s cat”.
So, a portal from the invulnerable spawn point into the garri? That does sound like stretching things a bit. I would have thought wp’ing would end the portal entre/exeunt link.
No, dying or leaving the zone break the link, a simple waypoint doesn’t, nor should it.
It’s really not an issue. If you’re taking an enemy Garrison, that’s an area you should be paying attention to to cut off or minimize reinforcements. If a mesmer goes there all you need to do is keep him in combat and he can’t waypoint. You need to be doing a good job at not paying attention to get bit there during a large fight. It’s an advantage every server has to help hold their home borderland, specifically the northern section which by design should be easier to defend.
The balloons are nice as well.
There are some updates coming soon, quite soon even, that hopefully will dispel this. Say bye-bye to the Quaggan.
Wait, why would you guys get rid of the Quaggan? They don’t really provide much advantage, and it gives something else to do.
That water area… that’s a lot of land mass waiting to happen.
Yes – but the hints being dropped involve Krait. It sounds like more of the same – PvE stuff being swapped around rather than get on with fixing what needs fixing.
Unless I misread it, the hint I saw was more in line with the thought that we won’t have the krait to worry about soon.

There is a limit distances a mesmer can do a portal so if you can from spawn to 1 keep it feels like a bug. You cant do from Cliff side to Garrison and that is closer.
No it’s not, it isn’t nearly as close. From the far south inside Citadel you’re a LOT closer to Garry.
Well, there will be mesmers opening their own portals on the other side. But this wasnt the point. I want to know if it is a legit tactic and I feel like somebody should answer this question.
Yes. Yes it is.
This could sound plausible, but I dont believe it is intended to waypointport 100ppl without any counter to it into a contested keep from inside the spawn.
So while I appreciate your input, I would much rather like to know what ArenaNet thinks about this in a thread that I can link in occasions where this question gets asked again. Because the more popular it gets, the more doubts this “tactic” will generate.
20. Portals have a 20 person cap. You need to organize a handful of mesmers to get 100 across. It’s a tool of the trade, that’s all.
So, as always, make good suggestions in a positive way and you’ll see changes.
People have been making VERY good suggestions for nearly an entire year now, and the number of changes in WvW can be counted on one hand.
People are fed up with WvW being neglected, and this is the reason people are critical of the Devs. It has nothing to do with “hating” as the OP childishly puts it.
That’s a matter of opinion. I’ve seen some mind-blowingly bad ideas get +1s all over the place because of the “other games do it” mentality. Kill spam is one of them. “Hey, let’s flood the chat windows or UI with some useless, bandwidth wasting spam of information most people don’t give a crap about! DAoC did it! Woohoo!” Please. I don’t care who killed who, I don’t care if someone else knows who I killed, and I certainly don’t want any precious resources wasted spamming that information to everyone on the map, especially when zergs collide.
I think it sounds great, personally. They won’t be crippling to try and get and will fill a much needed time-gap between exotic and legendary items. I’m looking forwards to seeing the implementation.
a) Horrible idea. Who is going to accept to be a lower rank?
do you think, say, U.S. army is composed only by Commanders?
organization requires a formal order: we are in critical need of flexibility, and the current system is way to rigid.
Nor can people in the military choose whatever rank they wish to display. If you did something like this you open the commander system up to trolling most severely. You really think some troll is going to give a crap about the “organized system” some guilds put in place? I don’t think so… they’ll wear whatever rank they choose, and odds are it’ll be the highest.
Colors would be ideal. Group A on the blue pin, group B on the red, etc. Simple, elegant and effective.
7) It is on our list of things to do, but it is not going to happen until we’ve handled some other, more serious things. Like the commander system. While I certainly wish I had a legion of designers and programmers at my disposal, we have a finite amount of resources to be put to work and we have to prioritize them according to what is necessary for the game. Sometimes that means doing things that have seemingly little impact to y’all, but eventually pay dividends in other ways.
Hope that is informative.
Oh gods no, not a blasted killspam. Kills can happen so frequently, especially when zergs collide, and frankly I don’t give a fried quaggans buttocks who killed who, nor do I want my chat or UI clogged with useless information that does nothing more than inflate someone’s tiny kitten to almost-mediocre. There’s no way that could benefit performance at all either. At worst there would need to be a way to opt out from the spam, ideally both sending and receiving. I don’t need to share my kills, and I don’t give a poop who killed who.

What the heck is PvF?
No wonder JQ is losing.
I lol’d
Sad part is that I still don’t know. Sigh…
pvf= player versus forum where not even the mighty sor could give mag a challenge.
Ah, gotcha. Thanks for that. Well, I guess JQ needs to lose at something this week. What’s kind of odd though are the DB people hanging out here. They need to stop teasing themselves and just go ahead and pull the trigger and transfer off that server since they like it among us so much, you know?
Among you? Why would we do that? We don’t like dirty city’s
but if its mag then well think about it. I heard it’s like heaven their >.o
Oh gods no, not among us! Anywhere but JQ, please. Sorry for the mix up.
