No one is forcing you to do them, so feel free not to do them.

One does not simply ‘remove’ champ health reset.

It resets for a multitude of reasons, some of them bugs, some of them intentional.

For example, the first patch fix mentioned that one of the champs would reset if it targeted an enemy that was outside it’s range.

Sometimes if you kite an enemy out of it’s area, it will reset.

As they started it was pretty average but later on it got pretty good. So overall, above average.

One thing to take advantage of this patch – time

Recognize that one of the highest in-demand items in game right now is the power cores.

These power cores can only be put into the economy every hour – specifically 5-15 minutes past the hour.

So if you are intent on buying low/selling high on power cores, make sure you get your buy orders in at the 5 minute mark, and then sell after 15 minutes.

Currently I’m selling my power cores since I expect the price to drop off a bit, but I think long-term power cores will be a good investment. However I have other investments that I find are guaranteed to increase shortly and so I’m committing the majority of my gold towards that rather than these cores.

It only takes long because you don’t know how to fight him.

He has a shield that reaches 10 stacks overtime. To remove the stack, he has to be hit by the red lasers. This is accomplished by stacking on him and then dodging away at the last moment, especially if you want the achievement.

Sadness:
I feel sorry for Scarlet. All this time we wanted her to “die, die, die” but in reality she was corrupted and tried to fight the dragon’s influence so hard. Unfortunately she had to go to extreme lengths to fight it, including terrorizing innocents, but I feel so bad for her.

Wtf Braham? He interrupted Scarlet and could have explained everything. I reallly, really dislike Braham because he seems more ‘brawn’ than ‘brains’ and quite immature.

Disappointment:
Kas didn’t die. I had a feeling she would cause she sort of feels like a barbie, useless character with many lines indicating that she would be killed off. But oh well. Bobby or one of the other LS teams said that they are not afraid of killing off characters, so here’s hoping she gets crushed by Mordremoth!

Pro-tip..
1.) Ascended is not required and this ‘vertical progression’ is miniscule enough to be ignored without noticing any improvement
2.) You can get an ascended backpiece without any crafting (and if you use the Forge as an example of crafting, all you do is click buttons a few times and you get your backpiece)

To be competitive you need to be in the best gear possible. Equally skilled players in wvw will lose based on equipment.

Therefore you NEED ascended to be considered a competitive wvw player unless you are a insanely good commander or skilled. Even then being commander means you do not want to die so Ascended again is better than exotics.

Considering the end game is grind, pvp, or wvw…

I think criticals will play more of a factor than a measley 2.5% increase, give or take, that ascended gear provides.

But really, who didn’t? The Mordremoth connection to Sylvari was obvious long ago, and Scarlet’s obsession with it wasn’t very well hidden either. And while there will be those who say it was never directly spelled out for us before, there were vastly enough inferences to come to a correct conclusion far before this ‘reveal’.

What I am left wondering is, what happened to all the other plot? Who is E? Why did Scarlet need to create a series of alliances, and what was the meaning of pointing out their elemental association when in the end that had nothing to do with awakening the dragon? Why did Scarlet spend so much time (so many of our LW updates) developing all of these weapons of mass destruction and then fails to use anything but miniaturized versions of them to attack LA?

Anyways, while we’re still Winning the Game of Thrones, here’s a few more things for everyone to say isn’t true now but for us all to say was obvious later: Zhaitain isn’t dead, he’s getting more powerful. The Pale Trees are not under Mordremoth’s control as both were corrupted in unique ways, but one of them is under the control of a dragon already. The dragons aren’t friends and it will be fighting each other, but we can expect a wait of a good couple of years for that reveal.

C) Selling Tormented weapons on the store just makes me angry that there’s no way to get them besides random. It’s a slap on the face for any GW1 veterans who had them and loved them.

There is enough armor variety in game that doesn’t involve the gemstore. I don’t have any problem with them releasing armor skins from the gem store, especially since they are not P2W and purely aesthestics.

For a game that is funded largely through the gem store, they need to take a stand at what they can or can’t monetize, and I think monetizing weapons/armors is the big cash flow category for Anet.

Dropping that entirely would mean lost potential sales.

I’m unsure of the rate that people will be getting Obsidian shards.

I would agree with you if they did this all in GW1. But GW2 and GW1 are separate games, and skins that mirror themselves in both games need not have the same requirements, especially considering a significant chunk of the GW2 playerbase never care for GW1 (which isn’t an MMO)

Even so, I can’t get past the idea that they can’t create something original for solely GW2 and have to recycle skins from another game.

Can’t they do both? This is, AFAIK, the 2nd time they have revived old skins. That’s certainly not a lot. You have a whole bunch of newer GW2-specific skins.

It is actually not really clear what we have seen.

We saw the Ley lines explode, breaking through the surface (why, i dont know. just because they were pierced by the drill? this certainly needs more elaboration…. oh wait.. Scarlet did it) in different directions…

The last pictures were indeed not the Maguuma jungle but more likely Orr, going into the ocean and maybe under the ocean floor.

We then see some teeth, resembling thorns at first, but quickly turning blueish green, oceanic.

So in the end it is not actually confirmed which dragon it is. It could be Mordremoth, but Bubbles is not outside the possibilities.

How could you interpret that as water?

Here are the facts:
-The leylines travelled west through Kryta
-Then travelled further west/southwest past the Reactor
-Butterflies are flying around in the ‘green’ scene (the small bubbles are sparkflies)

This largely happens when there are large zergs focusing on one mob. You have to compete for loot.

To increase your chances to get loot, get in a full party and do max DPS.

FYI this is not a problem with this LS but for all champs in the game.

I just have to wonder how Colin thought this was a “one in a million” prediction.

As resident Colin, I said this back when the world thought it was Primordus or a time travel story line, as more clues came out the theories got MUCH more correct, by mid-february the correct theories were certainly far more plentiful. Also the one in 10-20K number was about the entire story in the final 2 releases, not just one specific part of the ending. Only a couple of folks correctly guessed LA getting nuked before we gave any of the hints for example.

Above all else, I just want to say how much fun it has been watching everyone theorize over the last few months. It’s one of the coolest parts of the living world experience to me. Where it goes from here….well you’ll just have to wait to find out!

It’s true. People are shelling out the dough left and right. That’s why this keeps happening. I will admit, I’ve spent money on Armor Skins, but that’s about it. I’m not buying freaking keys to only be screwed over by RNG. I’d get some crafting boosters or a few WXP boosters….
