This and only this.

Charr are used to fighting in an army, norn are used to fighting alone.
So in 1v1, Norn. In a full scale war, Charr hands down.

Trolls end Jumping Puzzle in LA

For a second there I though you meant people where trolling players who attempted to do the jumping puzzle, like this wvw jumping puzzles.

I agree we shouldn’t be denied capes simply because one race cannot wear them.

I actually know that armor, strange I didn’t notice it.
Thanks

She also has a knack for making Sylvari cry I heard.

I would change it, and give it the best of all capital cities. Basically what JustARTificial said.

None knows yet, it is FAR easier to predict the community’s reactions though.
1. Cheap: omg, Anet is a trash company, there is no point of exploring cause you can still buy them, what a grindy grindy grindy game this is, gold again
2. Expensive: omg, Anet have always wanted to make the game P2W, OMG OMG OMG, THE GAME IS DEAD
3. They decide to delete the gold option: OMG ANET IS FORCING ME TO PLAY CONTENT. WHY DO I NEED TO DO SOMETHING I DON’T LIKE, I HATE EXPLORATIONOne of those complains is gonna be seen soon enough, who will complain is purely based on their preferences, and whoever doesn’t like the updates will come and comment negativly, since forums are negative only nowadays. Talking about haters, they will comment with one of those three regardless cause their main point is hating, not how the game is anyhow.
The sad part is you are not even wrong. This is most likely exactly what will happen.
~Sincerely, Scissors
Well, well, I get a bit hot-headed when people don’t read into what I’m trying to say in my posts and instead just blatantly reply with something “witty” so it was probably for the best anyway.
I admit I did not fully read into what you posted. I apologize.

Oh god please no. GW2 is influenced by typical rubbish Korean design enough as it is, I would loathe even to think of more of that. Because, honestly, there are plenty of games out there for you to choose from who give you these types of armor design, but very few with a more “realistic” approach to armor design. So please for gods sake, leave GW2 alone. If anything, more heavy armor sets should look like Phalanx, Ascalonian or Human Cultural Tier 1, i.e. more medieval knight/soldier inspired.
Though one thing I hate in GW2 are the helmets… I love me a cool looking helmet, but only Phalanx and Dark fit my personal taste at least.
Realistic armor is mostly ordinary. And ordinary armor is boring.
Armors must be complex, special and have lots of glowing bits!Ugh, please. Go play WoW then or something.
Go play dragon age origins if you want ordinary and boring armors.
And all this, without making everything an over-the-top rave-fest at a gaybar in New Orleans during Mardi Gras.
Be careful when you use the word ‘gay’ in a derogatory context.

I still want this set:

Asura with skimpy armor would be awkward. Who would want that?
Well I don’t know how to put this exactly buuuut
What armor is that? Never seen anything like it.

Right, so, what are “her ideas” that the entity was taking credit for? Every single thing Scarlet did required modern technology. How could something that is still sleeping and has been sleeping for 10,000 years know about modern things? It would be like someone who’s been in a coma since 1980 knowing how to work a smartphone and knowing about 911 upon waking. It just doesn’t happen.
As rainbow spirit stated, a dragon knows everything it’s minions know.

For PvP players, we’re removing the PvP skill splits that were implemented for both Signet of Restoration and the Cleansing Water grandmaster trait.
What does this mean? Do PvP players get the pve version of those traits/skills or vice versa?

On most mmo’s you have to wait months, sometimes more than a year, for an expansion.
This is nothing.
~Sincerely, Scissors
So basically Scarlet and her alliances could be like the Illusive Man and Cerberus from Mass Effect.
Think he is doing something good, wanting to control the reapers (in this case elder dragons) but unaware he is actually being controlled himself and helping the reapers instead of controlling them.

From https://www.guildwars2.com/en/news/colin-johanson-on-guild-wars-2-in-the-months-ahead/ (January 2013):
“It’s extremely important that we stay true to our philosophy that you should be able to play Guild Wars 2 the way you want to play the game in order to reach the most powerful rewards.”
And yet I still cannot buy ascended armor/weapons with gold.
Another lie..

No wonder there’s no one, this game is dying… Even on Desolation, the biggest server, there are fewer people nowadays.
Not sure what desolation you are on, but I see plenty of people on desolation EU.

Removing Restrictions: all weapons for all classes
Yes! Finally! I’ve always wanted my warrior to use staff and s/f.
magical professions can use melee weapons by imbuing them with magic.
Warriors should be able to use magical weapons by using them as melee weapons.
Ever heard of a Quarterstaff?
Scepter can be used as a stick.
Focus as a boomerang.I could see the quarterstaff and would embrace the concept. The last two are too forced, though.
Hmm, maybe scepter and focus would be too far fetched. But a quarterstaff could really work.

Kindof dangerous to have nothing for 10days
in Battle for Lion’s Arch - Aftermath
Posted by: Windu The Forbidden One.6045
The only thing dangerous to GW2 right now is ESO. Place is going to be a ghost town in less than a month.
ESO is garbage.
A beautifull single player franchise suddenly turned into an mmo abomination, and they have the audacity to ask for a monthly fee too.
Bah..

Removing restrictions: maybe increasing level cap
That would be terrible. I would have to regrind to gear for all my alts and buy tons of transmutation crystals…
they said before “it might be possible in future” so who knows
“Might be possible in the future” is not a confirmation. Anet promised/said many things that never made it into the game.

Yet again, screwing around “fixing” something that isn’t broken, that we didn’t ask for.
Guild management tools and guild commander tags.
Auto-loot that works.
Permanoobstealth thieves.
Forging multiple items in one pass, instead of repetitive stress injuries.
In-game moderators to start dealing with the hackers.
Game crashes at the massive boss events.I could go on and on, but there is no point. You’re not listening.
That you didn’t ask for.. but there have been many that have.
Auto-Loot doesn’t work. As the name implies it should “Auto Loot” not you need to hit “F” to auto-loot. The description needs to be changed to represent the function ,though, I prefer it actually Auto Loot so I no longer need to worry about picking up loot!
Fun fact, even the autoloot in wow still requires you to click on a mobs corpse.

Or bring back the identify kits from Guild Wars 1
No, it was a stupid system that contributed nothing.

Just to point out.
This is a Dragoon…

Options are good.
No need to FORCE people to do things. I’ll do the content unlocks when it’s content I enjoy, I’ll buy the others.
Only in GW2 will people complain about being given multiple ways to unlock things.
^This
For example, imagine having the best trait locked behind Liadri without offering an alternative.
That would be awesome. I would love if they did this!
Basically you want to remove an option you don’t like (buying traits) and keep the option you like (effort..). Ever considered other people may like the first option more?
Should they be robbed of this feature because you don’t like it?

Rising ire against Sylvari
in Battle for Lion’s Arch - Aftermath
Posted by: Windu The Forbidden One.6045
So yeah, they kind of do have a reason to be hated and carefully watched.
Carefully watched? Yes. Hated? No. Scarlet was the cause of all this suffering and pain (and a council that mass effect’s would be proud of). One person should not be a representative of all people in that race/group/ethnicity. I’d also like to point out Zojja fought influence from a dragon champion and succeeded. If anything I’d be wary about the nightmare court and trying to warn Marrik’s people of the coming threat.
It was not a fight against just one sylvari. There were numerous sylvari butchering innocent women and children.
So did Aetherblade humans/norn/charr
So did the Krait
So did the Dredge
Just because one sylvari goes full tyrant on the world does not mean their entire race is to blame. In real life, humans have done things over the course of history that would make you shiver (Looking at you Hitler, Mengele, Staling and many others).
Does that mean the entire human race is to be hated and carefully watched as well?
~Sincerely, Scissors
Well, Jormag’s Breath is an ice sword.
As you can see here It’s not a blue flame, but an icy cloud. And given the hilt looks like Jormag’s mouth, it literally is Jormag’s Breath

Why no Scarlet hairstyle?
in Battle for Lion’s Arch - Aftermath
Posted by: Windu The Forbidden One.6045
It is bad enough running around on a Sylvari with all the NPC hate now- can you imagine if I was wearing Scarlet’s hair?
it would be instant pitchfork time
Just ignore that.
“one person of that race goes full tyrant on the world so that means their entire race sucks” Is stupid reasoning.
Don’t forget Canach and the whole southsun killer crabs thing. That’s twice that sylvari have caused a chunk of lions arch to be destroyed while using poisonous gas as weapon of choice. I don’t trust those twigs as far as I can throw em.
Humans have done things far more terrible over the course of history (in real life). Do you also distrust all humans around you?
That doesn’t really work when there are no other sentient races on the planet. If a country unleashed two separate incidents of mass destruction on my home town though, I think I`d have a case for saying they had it in for me.
But that’s just it. You are human yourself, you grew up with humans. You’ve seen first hand that no matter how evil a human tyrant is, not all humans are like that. When you are dealing with a different race however, it is harder to realize, but not less true.
~Sincerely, Scissors
I would hope she is! Bald is the right way to Asura!
For you maybe.

Oh noes! The “mastery of all aspects of play” rewards ask you to WvW a few days.
Yes its harder than it was before – some changes to strengthen the theme/flavor of rewards do in fact mean players have had it too easy in the past.
My thoughts exactly, I wonder of people can still get badges by farming the JP like they use to, Mesmer up!
I got over 2000 badges just by getting achievements in pve.

Epilogue: That's it? (spoilers, obv)
in Battle for Lion’s Arch - Aftermath
Posted by: Windu The Forbidden One.6045
It was also stated later on this epilogue would take place in the Death End bar (forgot where) What did you expect?
I expected a decent wrap up to a year long story. Perhaps some answers to the thousands of loose ends…
As I said before, LS has no such thing as decent story telling.

She looks creepy, like an evil doll, hopefully her face wont be able for players, wouldn’t like to see Taimi look alikes running around me, it gives me the creeps…
In other words
I don’t like it so no one should have it.I didn’t say that, but anyway, it’s not available now, so I have nothing to worry about.

Taimi’s hair! aww yeah
I have no problem with her hairstyle, is just her face that scares me, looks like an evil doll, kinda like Chucky from Child’s Play
Kind of true. I just wanted the hairstyle anyway
