I hope you checked out her golem’s interior. If you zoom your camera halfway inside the golem, you’ll see he has a little kittenpit in there. =)
So she keeps little kittens in there?

Yes, the last story quest of the personal story is a dungeon.

I’ll never forget the day a pregnant woman berated me outside a grocery store for taking the handicapped space she wanted.
Wow that’s low. People are so quick to judge.
~Sincerely, Scissors
I agree. It was just added for people coming to gw2 and expecting it to be like wow.

You can also prevent being autokicked by setting autocast on your heal skill. I wonder if people can be banned for that, but I doubt it.

Thinking about getting an airship pass...
in Battle for Lion’s Arch - Aftermath
Posted by: Windu The Forbidden One.6045
I didn’t get the pass but I previewed it due to the one-time use ones.
I think it’s too clustered and claustrophobic. I feel like a refugee on a ship.
RT > refugee ship
Seems more like a battleship to me. There are dozens of cannons aboard after all.
~Sincerely, Scissors
If the situation is really as you claim it is, then you have nothing to worry about. The guy you would have kicked was acting like an idiot and holding back the entire party. You gave plenty of warnings.

It’s just pointless window dressing to make character creation look more elaborate than it actually is.
~Sincerely, Scissors
Well the problem is. The only ways they can fix this is by
1. Making the weapons smaller, which would be bad idea because most weapons are already way too small for asura.
2. Lifting the weapon, which would look stupid because then we would be getting the same problem the Aether bow once had.
3. Tilting the weapon, which would look stupid as well imo.

It’s actually pretty cool Anet remembered this little detail and choose to put a shield over that house.

But then all the fires would go out, that would ruin the scenery!
All jokes aside, yes that could be nice, as long as it’s not 24/7
PS. The Suggestion section has been closed some time ago. You can still visit, but not post there. Suggestions are to be posted in their most appropriate sections instead

Yes. Siege Golems can be used by the other races. They are mostly used in WvW but also in PvE on a few occasions (personal story and marionette event).
You can argue this also counts for the golem that can be summoned by the asura racial skill Summon Power Suit But as the name implies, it’s more of a suit than a golem.
Though most golem models seem to be designed only for asura.

Hmm…. but if you lost a treasured item and you went to look for it but as you got there someone had already picked it up and you then saw them trade it for a recipe how would you feel?
That’s why it would be an issue in real life. But in video games my moral compass is pretty much on standby

Or they do have a spotter who is a mesmer that is simply hiding behind a illusion.
That works too ^^

Stealth is supposed to also muffle noise, otherwise it wouldn’t work on dredge.
Muffled not entirely erase it, as some have pointed out the Tengu appear to be firing blind. They may have trained themselves to have an heightened sense of hearing, or have devise some technological device that detects even the faintest sounds. Also something to consider, this could be a simple game mechanic to keep overly curious players from lingering in the area expecting the Tengu to respond since there seems to be few civilians in the area that need aid.
I’m pretty sure they can’t hear a muffled noise through a 3 meter thick stone wall. Not to mention with the sounds of explosions, rifle shots, screaming, burning fires and a giant drill in the background.
Conclusion: Tengu are psychic!!

Asura with skimpy armor would be awkward.
No one asked for skimpy or revealing armor for asura. In fact, I think most of us would have rolled a human/norn if skimpy was what we wanted.
Yeah, it would be nice to have a CLEAN female set of armour available. Although I still love the current armours and would not want them taken away from us Asura females.
That’s why I think it would be best to only apply this change to armors that are released after this. But keep the current armors as they are now.
~Sincerely, Scissors
You know that human was the only thing actually trying to prepare LA for the attack. The council didn’t believe her, they wouldn’t have believed Evon either.
Also since you are so racist towards humans I assume you are an animal of sorts in real life that has somehow learned to speak?

Oh, but you quite clearly claimed that you should be able to play as you want and be rewarded for it as much as grinding LS content. And some people want to play by just standing around in towns and chatting, and thus, going by your logic, they should also get the same rewards as grinding LS content, right?
To be honest, I totally got cesmode’s point without having to take it to such extremes, but I am oblivious to forum vendettas so I might be missing something.
Are you saying this because you feel like open world should stay as unrewarding as it is now (aside from LS content, champ trains and some heavily scaling gated bosses) or just because you like arguing semantics?Either way, I hope they make open world worth it again at some point (and I am not just speaking of rewards), it is really painful to see all that work go to waste. I do doubt that they can make it happen by the next feature update .
As for what else the feature update may hold, aside from some confirmed stuff (which might still be prone to delay) we can all just guess.
Some people just like to put words in other peoples mouth and then demand justification for them.

I really hope for some new pve zones.

It’s probably another exclusive interview on some obscure site that Anet couldn’t be bothered to link to from their own website.
To be fair, I really doubt that there’s anything left that can make Scarlet interesting or believable anymore. The ‘being controlled against their will’ bit is getting old too.
This. I don’t get why crucial details about upcoming content often appears on other websites completely off the radar and you have to find out like this. Any got a link to this ‘spoiler reveal’?

The other races are not getting involved because they have other things to do (fighting centaurs, flame legion, dragon minions, bandits, seperatists, renegades, ghosts of ascalon, nightmare court etc). And this war his far away from the capital cities.
The Tengu are not getting involved because they are not getting involved in anything, nor do they seem to care about anything that goes on in the world. And this war is taking place at their front door.
This war has already come to three of their cities- Divinity’s Reach was bombed, it’s manufactured defenders stolen, and it’s newest monument turned into a temporary shelter for Scarlet. The outlying norn and charr settlements were hit hard, tying up both cities with the expense of caring for refugees. They’ve been targeted before, and now Scarlet is demonstrating the potential to wipe them off the map. Jennah, Smodur, and Whitebear have significantly more reason to pitch in than the tengu, who have remained almost entirely unaffected, do.
The invasion has been going on for only a day, give them time. I’m sure they will send some support.
Jennah, Smodur, and Whitebear have significantly more reason to pitch in than the tengu, who have remained almost entirely unaffected, do.
Except for the fact there’s a doomsday device at their front door.

Even the races that do care about Lion’s Arch aren’t doing anything. Why should the tengu?
How can setting up refugee camps, moving key facilities from LA to vigil keep and trying to save as many citizens as possible be counted as ‘nothing’?
The Vigil, the Priory, the order of whispers, the lionguard and many players do everything in their power to contain this threat (yes, players are part of the lore too). And the orders/lionguard/players consist out of the 5 main races (and a few others).
Just because there aren’t any troops from the main cities doesn’t mean the main races aren’t doing anything.
Well, in that case, the tengu race is part of the effort! After all, there are tengu in the Vigil!
The Orders are all race neutral, and what they do or do not do in no way reflects on the races they pull from. The racial governments are doing nothing, besides DR tossing in some hand-me-down air balloons.
The other races are not getting involved because they have other things to do like fighting:
centaurs
flame legion
dragon minions
bandits
seperatists
renegades
ghosts of ascalon
nightmare court
Sons of Svanir
Inquest
And this war his far away from the capital cities. So the other races have plenty of excuses imo.

In any case, if the Dominion Of Winds is ever in dire need of help. I will remember this day.
/dramatic mode off
In all fairness I can understand they want to protect their borders. But still, having such a large invasion happen before their front door is a significant threat. I’m really surprised they are just sitting there doing absolutely nothing (aside from killing everyone who gets close). Not even contacting any of the others races to ask what is going on.

Ascended Gear should be tradable. Even legendaries can be traded, why not ascended?

I agree. There are barely any physical differences between male and female asura. But even then there could still be room for some slight differences in their armor

They should check their targets before firing. Just don’t indiscriminately murder whatever gets close to their border.
That is war.
indiscriminate killing, wether friend of foe is war? Fascinating I had no idea.

I just love how people compare GW1 a game where you couldn’t venture out of a city with more than eight people, a game that is a fraction of the complexity that its successor is to GW2 which is larger and has way more moving parts than GW1 would ever have hoped for. Then you complain why Guild Wars 2 hasn’t received the same amount content, scratch that even more content in the same period of time. This just underlines the fact that people are extremely ignorant about game development. They do not understand that the bigger and more complex a game is, the longer it takes to develop content. Guild Wars 2 has been out for just over a year, it will get massive permanent content updates, or even an expansion. Give it time, and please don’t compare this game and its content to GW1 a game that was released in 2005.
If you would have read the entire discussion, you would have known we already adressed the “but it’s a different game” argument.
In any case, I think it’s about time I’m gonna split. Everything has been said on both sides and most people that enter the discussion now are just coming up with arguments that have already been crushe.. I mean discussed.
Peace everyone.

Races will seek new allies, and Tengu will help.
Yeah, the Tengu definitely helped me by one shot me when I was fighting a veteran while scouring LA for the rubble piles. I totally want the help of a bunch of xenophobic kittens who indiscriminately murder whoever gets close to them.
Xenophobic? No.
Protecting their borders and keeping everybody away from the wall that MAY be placing explosives? yes.
That high up (assuming firing from the top, or even middle), you wouldn’t really tell if that charr or human running toward the wall is an aetherblade or adventurer.
They should check their targets before firing. Just don’t indiscriminately murder whatever gets close to their border.

If you are so much as going to ignore your ‘Anet is sloppy’ remark, I guess you should just delete/edit it to pretend you never wrote it.
It is, after all, what I’m more focused on than your original post.
I’m all for criticizing the game but if you have nothing to back it up then you deserve criticism itself.
What evidence do I need? We have ZERO information on how the potion works. All we know it involves getting a halo on your head.
Yet you have to work a lot to get it (which I don’t mind as long as I know what I’m grinding for).
How is that not sloppy?

Actually, i was right. Colin before release said guild wars 2 at release was bigger than ALL of guild wars 1.
So there. Read above for the link and proof.
Thanks for playing.
First off “Someone said that..” is not proof. Colin is wrong, plain and simple.
Second, they are talking about Guild Wars 2 PvP, not the entire game.
Nice try though.
Did you know I have wings? Yes that’s right, I can breath fire and read minds too. And since I know myself better than anyone else it must be the truth right? After all, I said so.
