Everyday a new thread is made about this. That just shows how badly this feature is needed.

I’m so glad they got rid of that ridiculous death penalty from gw1.

I love that some players reaction is to state “join a bigger guild”. Pure comedy.
Hey, the Temples are bugged!! Don’t do them, do the dragons, lol!!
Some of my toons skills are bugged!! Roll a different toon, lol!!
Why does Anet let precursors be sold? LOL!!rng, deal with it,LOL!!
Some zones are dead due to the majority of the player base farming the world event bosses, because the rewards system is screwed up, why is it like this? LOL!! Get with the program!! Jump on the World boss event train dummy!!LOL!!!
So many excuses, instead of just fixing what is broken in a logical manner.
This made my day

I would also like them to remove waypoints from the game entirely. In my day, there was a thing called ‘traveling’. We did it, on foot, when we needed to go somewhere. Rapid travel is a sick joke and more akin to a ‘cheat code’ than a gameplay feature.
Get out.. just get out…

I think they were demonstrating that the Asura are so superior to other races that they can wear their cultural armours. Just goes to show how great we are.
excelsior!

Never understood why GW2 didn’t have this, GW1 had it.
Still though, it’s not that big of a deal imo

A Massive Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game where you have to play with other people? What sorcery is this!?
Your argument sucks. Simply because it’s online multiplayer game that means the ONLY way to play is in groups and teams? Makes zero sense.
Instead of criticizing the OP why don’t you just allow him to play the game the way he wants to play game? Let people play the way they want to play and have the difficulty scale to the party size. And yes give them all the same rewards. People can group if they want to group and people can solo if they want to solo. It’s pretty simple actually.
As far the JP’s concerned just do them all at 80 if you can’t handle doing them now. I’ve done every jumping puzzle in the game and I did them all solo style.
sigh..
1)It was not an argument, it was a joke.
2)I never said you should need other people for everything.
3)I never said I agreed or disagreed with the OP. Being forced to play with other people for certain activities (like dungeons) is just something to be expected when playing an MMORPG.
4)Next time think for a moment before trying to shoot down someone’s comment.

Would be cool, but I doubt we’ll be getting new skills anytime soon.

I’ve always wondered why they gave him Human Cultural armor when it’s supposed to be race specific. If they are giving NPC’s cultural armor that does not belong to their race they might as well give players the ability to wear any cultural armor they want as well.

i consider game world to be public place, so not sure what privacy you mean here. if the said ‘stalker’ would start contacting you outside the game then i could see the problem.
The real (outside) world is also a public place, that doesn’t mean it’s normal to have a tracking collar around your neck…

sure as long as it is a skin only, no skills, no additional stats, no bonuses of any sort.
Agreed.
~Sincerely, Scissors
I’m all for more roleplaying elements but I don’t think it’s on top of Anet’s to-do list right now.
~Sincerely, Scissors
That skill is so overpowered.
Still though, I like it.

I don’t mind paying a lot, but when I do, I actually want my item.

In the last SOTG A-Net devs said they won’t seperate skillz between PvE and PvP. So you have the solution, but A-Net refuse to implement it.
I’m sorry for the whole playerbase.
Well for one, take everything A-net says with a grain of salt. A-net said many things that turned out incorrect at the end.
In fact, A-net already tackled their own statement since they seperated one trait already in the previous update:
Evasive Arcana: The spell cast while in water attunement has been split between PvE and PvP. This spell’s effectiveness with the healing attribute has been reduced by 50% while in PvP.
If they did it once, they’ll do it again. Especially since it’s an excellent and much needed system.

If waiting a few weeks means to get a fully functional shoulder piece (not stretching and possible to hide it), then I can live with not having a shoulder piece for now..
Such optimism; the missing T3 shoulders were one of the many things I reported way back during beta testing that are still unaddressed.
“Few weeks”; lol, I seriously doubt if it’ll be “ever”
It doesn’t make sense to ‘never’ fix it. They will fix it one day, but it will take a loooong time. More like a few years I think.
~Sincerely, Scissors
I’m sure Anet will add some classes in the future, they did the same thing twice in GW1.
But it will take a long time, first the current classes need to be balanced.
As you only PvE i guess you won’t understand that, but classes in PvP are freaked up balance wise.
Easily fixed, seperate pvp and pve skills/traits. They did the same thing in GW1 and it worked perfectly. They will have to implement that in GW2 because if they don’t, there will never be balance.
~Sincerely, Scissors
+1
This would be great

I wish more weapons had those cool glow/footprint effects. But it will probably never happen, unfortunately.

They should just have a dark and light version of every legendary imo. The legendary greatsword has that (even a third one) so why not the other weapons? It seems only fair
~Sincerely, Scissors
It’s good they removed them.
They made the shoulders part of the chest, so you were unable to dye them correctly or even hide them. The shoulders also had terrible clipping issues.
I’m glad they are gone. If they are going to fix the shoulders, then they should fix the shoulders not add their textures to the chest.
And we finally got our helmet back too.
~Sincerely, Scissors
cant believe you’ve taken away my t3 light shoulders again :’(
Untill they can fix the actual shoulders, instead of just adding the shoulders to the chest, it’s better this way.
~Sincerely, Scissors
They fixed it!! Thank you so much!

TO OP, not sure how they lost to wild star? Yes the housing looks great and has a lot of cool features on it. Although Wild star is lead in development by Carbine and produced by NC Soft, NC Soft also Produces GW2. I am sure if Wild star does remotely good with the idea of housing there, it can or will be implemented in GW2. Honestly it is a smart move on NC Softs part to try something like this ( they may tank or sky rocket ) in a no name game before trying it in their top title game.
Let’s hope you are right then
~Sincerely, Scissors
That’s perfect! I doubt GW2 will ever have that level of housing though
~Sincerely, Scissors
It’s probably nothing special
~Sincerely, Scissors
hmm.. interesting.
Maybe it’s a mark the developers used for something? Just like the naked guy in GW1
~Sincerely, Scissors
With the next patch almost here, I REALLY hope our armor will be restored to its former glory.

Lol what the hell..
Is that.. an anime charr?

I can agree with most points, but some are just way over the top.
~Sincerely, Scissors
No, not now, not ever.
~Sincerely, Scissors
Sure would be nice to have a response on this issue by now. It’s driving me up the wall, not just the issue itself but also the fact we are completely in the dark at the moment.
~Sincerely, Scissors
I don’t think that will happen anytime soon. Too much effort for something so trivial.
I have 8 characters and it didn’t really bother me. The tutorial mission takes like 5-10 minutes and you only have to do it once per character, so it’s not that big of a deal imo.
~Sincerely, Scissors
Wait wait.. A character slot within a character slot??
What does that even mean?
~Sincerely, Scissors
I support this. I hope they’ll do at least something with the home instance soon.

It should not be a bannable offense. The guild is in complete control over who has access to the the guild bank. The dinner party analogy is flawed. Here is a better one: Would you put someone on your real life bank account that you just met? Would you allow someone access to your real life bank account that you don’t trust?
In other words, if you give someone the opportunity to misbehave or commit a crime he is entitled to do so?
How is it a crime when someone gives you access to the money?
Exactly. If someone’s name is on a bank account, they are perfectly able to drain the account and never talk to you again.
Being ABLE to do something does NOT mean you should do it.

If someone gives you access to something doesn’t mean you are allowed to abuse it. The guild bank is there for everyone, not just you.

They should learn to pick better people…
Of course, why didn’t I think of that.
Please tell me where I can attent those mind reading lessons.
Regardless of whose fault it is, it’s despicable behavior and shouldn’t be defended like this..

This is a legit question guys, stop over reacting by being little kids. He is not saying he intends too, just wondering if their is a punishment. I mean I could walk into my guild bank take everything and leave – its like if I left my game running, my mom came and took all my gear for her self.
Anet should Ban, perma and IP (NOT just punish) those who steal.
Well, I’m not saying it’s right, but actually I don’t think it is bannable because I would think it would be up to the guildmaster/officers to decide what should and shouldn’t be available to new guild recruits.
Leaving it wide open like that is just asking for an idiot to take things and leave.
Crappy as it is, I don’t think it goes against ToS.
Indeed.
If the player at hand have access to withdraw funds from the guild bank it’s because he was allowed to do so. Although it’s a crappy thing to do, it’s not a bannable offense!
Also, there are 2 layers of bank access, “Guild Stash” and the “Guild Treasure Trove”, so it’s up to the guild leader to have the gold and crucial items secured in the trove!Trust is the key factor! Only give access to those who you trust!
But bannable or not, it’s still a gigantic bad thing to do!like I stated, amend the TOS and ban them
Amend the TOS to say WHAT?
If you give somebody access to a bank tab you are indirectly stating they are welcome to any of that stuff, therefore there’s nothing to steal.
Yes by giving somebody access to a bank tab you are actually telling them to take everything and run off……
Then lock it down if you don’t want that to happen, or define it in your guild rules.
Not sure why that’s so hard to grasp.
It IS defined in the guild rules. Pretty much every sensible guild has rules in place for this.
Then boot them.
But don’t sit there and tell me it’s reasonable for ANet to cover every possible guild rule put in place in the ToS.
Be reasonable.
I believe people who abuse a certain trust that was bestowed on them by robbing the entire guild bank should be punished for this misconduct and I’m the one not being reasonable?
