Why would you laugh to people who have different goals than yours? If some people (like yourself) think that granting Power is an unfair advantage, granting AP to those who wants to compete in the leaderboards is an unfair advantage too…

Now about cosmetics, that’s another story… I agree that GW2 vets should have more skins that proudly represent their achievements in GW1, not Ap’s…

But honestly i’m tired about this subject. If the so called “Vet’s” can’t see past their personal greed (yes it’s greed), and claim that their time in Gw1 give them the right to have an upper hand in any type of goal, then, no point in arguing…

I only need one more hint for this achievement, which is:

PvP Returning to Lobby
To go to the PvP lobby, click on the PvP button in the upper left corner and select “go to the heart of the mists”.

But I’ve done this many times already, I use this button on a regular basis for months. Never have I gotten a hint, does anyone know how I can fix this?

From now on, you’ll be able to unlock rewards like exclusive new ARMOR skins, weapon skins, and permanent account bonuses as you earn achievement points on your account.

I only see Zenith Weapon skins listed as rewards in the achievement panel, where are the armors?

Wouldn’t it be fun if you enter brawl mode when you play a horn.

Why does everyone think the achievement points will work like currency…
It makes zero sense and anet even stated you unlock stuff with AP, not buy it.

“As you complete achievements and increase your achievement score, you’ll unlock new, exclusive rewards for your account.”

Quality increases proportionately with difficulty, when will people finally understand that.

Veterans will already have it via living story and holiday achievements, to add dailies on top of that (which are exponentially more points) is salt in the wound.

No, we worked for those points. If they want to make dailies stop giving achievement points that’s one thing. But we shouldn’t have the points we already earned stricken from us.

I mean, having AP taking from us JUST WHEN they are going to be useful? No.. just no..

I assume the latter, since Anet downright stated they will not add any more currencies.
A developer once said that on the forums but it’s been a month, I don’t think I can find that post.

Playing a game everyday is an achievement. For those who can spare the time each day to collect them I say give it to them that’s the reason they are giving you achievement points in the first place for them.

anet wants people to log in everyday having them not count is counter productive.

This game is not a spitting contest let people have their guaranteed rewards. To much in this game already is not guaranteed and luck based.

It is new armor, check the release page.

They explained how you can earn new armor skins with achievement points and post a picture of this armor right beside it. Surely that means we are talking about a new helmet, gloves and shoulders here.

Rich Dragon Coffers, Moa bird Racing and a few other items. You really didn’t thing at 80% of the people moan bird racing or getting RICH dragon coffers earned there gold the hard way did you?

Opening rich dragon coffers is an achievement???? Moa racing takes 20-30 min and max 10g to complete…..

Also sweets are 8 copper a piece…. soooo whats the problem???

With all due respect, but your argument sucks.
1) Don’t waste your time on rich coffers. I got 2 tickets by just opening normal coffers. (yes I opened a lot of them because they are cheap as hell).
2) Why would you buy gems just to get 10g? Seriously.. -_-

Nobody is forcing you to buy gems, there are plenty of other (NON LAZY) ways to earn gold. If you chose to use gems then that’s your own fault. Don’t blame anet for it and don’t come with those ridiculous conspiracy theories about anet doing this on purpose just to screw us.

All the weapons I was never able to get because of the terrible RNG/ticket system…

The weapons look amazing, but the fact you can only get them with the horrible ticket rng system tells me I will never get one.. Just like the fused/scelerite weapons….

Funny thing is, asura (both male and female) actually HOLD THEIR GREATSWORDS UP!

Unlike human females who look like they can barely lift their greatswords, when walking with them it looks like they are dragging their greatsword over the floor.
