I didn’t drink enough yet, so no.

You aren’t dealing enough damage to qualify for loot. As the amount of people damaging a monster grows, so does the damage requirement.
I’m sorry but that’s not true. Some champions I’m hitting for a minute with everything I have and get nothing. Others I hit once just before they die and get a chest.
I only have this problem with the ember farm though.
~Sincerely, Scissors
The main problems I have with this system are:
1) The player’s success gets predicated on something they can’t control, if your server is weak in wvw or is simply facing a much stronger opponent you simply can’t explore.
2) WvW will be filled with players who don’t want to be there. Those players often don’t contribute anything to wvw (they just want to explore and get out as soon as possible) and are taking up precious slots that prevent other players from joining.
3) It’s NOT part of the world. WvW takes place in the mists just like SPvP (which you don’t have to explore either).
~Sincerely, Scissors
No, I do a ton of dmg on those embers yet only half of them actually drop a chest.
Some embers I’m hitting for a minute with everything I have and the tag doesn’t recognise. Others I hit once just before they die and get a chest.
This tagging mechanic is horribly broken. And when you ask about it in map chat everyone’s all like “run a build that doesn’t suck bla bla bla”
~Sincerely, Scissors
If you remove all your characters, you can move to another server for free. A friend of mine did this. The reason for this is because there’s practically no data to transfer, so there are (almost) no costs involved.

They will be gradually adding all weapons to all professions.
www.mmorpg.com/gamelist.cfm/game/473/feature/7597
Take all my kittening money!
Some weapons wouldn’t fit for some classes
Cheers.
I think it will fit, Anet just has to change it’s function. For example, a staff for warrior will be used as a Quarter Staff, which is essentially a long stick used as a melee weapon.
Yes because making classes less unique is a good thing….
That makes no sense, many weapon types can already be used by multiple professions, that doesn’t make them less unique. Besides It worked for gw1, it can work for gw2 as well.

Or when it gets activated the entire pavilion collapses and we have once again, The Great Collapse. It would be like the whole Queen Jubilee event never took place.

Maybe she will announce a subscription fee.. lol
~Sincerely, Scissors
It would split the community. I don’t want that horde vs alliance nonsense in Guild Wars 2. If you want to harass/gank other players, go to wvw.

I wholeheartly agree!

OK so Queen Jenna is Scarlet. Also she’s the leader of the aetherblade pirates. Anise is her first mate / lesbian lover and together they plan to subtly rule tyria.
Anyway they catch that Sylvari pirate from the opening ceremony and she turns out to be another one of Caithe’s former lesbian lovers turned evil. Logan interrogates her and she spills the beans that the Queen is actually in charge of the aetherblade pirates.
Logan is all like “aw no WTF m8?” and he’s conflicted and goes into seclusion deciding what to do and he listens to a lot of coldplay during this time and doesn’t often leave his room.Meanwhile the seraph are in disarray and the aetherblades infiltrate divinities reach. The watch knights are under their command and they all turn into their victim’s worst nightmares like those things in harry potter only no one knows the ridiculo spell in tyria. All hope is lost. or is it?
A group of 5 anonymous adventurers, most with names of characters from naruto and purple hair, appear to save the day. Two of them are commanders even though they’ve never set foot in WvW. They fight their way from the entrance of divinity’s reach to the throne room where they throw down with Anise.
They kill Anise and are ready to kill Jenna, the traitorous Kitten, when Logan appears. After listening to ‘clocks’ and ‘you oughta know’ for the umpteenth time and eating a quart of mint chip ice cream in dark room he is ready to face his ex-not-really-a-lover, Queen Jenna. Mustering the trace amounts of testosterone in his really effeminate body, he approaches the queen.
He kneels down.
She is unconscious.
He reaches his arm down towards her bosom.
He rips out her heart and eats it. He takes off his mask. It was Rytlock the whole time!
“kitten humans! Charr 4 life” he cries, teabagging the corpse, as divinities reach crumbles beneath the bombs of the combined forces of the Charr legions.your post won
This is hysterical. But I gotta ask, was Hurdy’s original post deleted? It sails pretty close to the wind, but it clearly did win.
So much win

I’m confused.
So do people want more diverse immunities spread around to the NPCs of PvE?
Or do people want burn taken off Destroyers (and I guess other immunities off other foes as well)?
I want one of the two. Remove or improve.
~Sincerely, Scissors
We are not ignored at all. Because everytime we get a strong build anet will spare no expense to nerf it
~Sincerely, Scissors
-We can use Fear on robots without emotion.
-We can use chill on ice elementals.
-We can use bleed on creatures without blood (air elementals, ghosts, etc)
-We can use blind on creatures without eyes (air elementals, jellyfish, etc)
The list goes on.
So either, fix the way conditions work on enemies or remove immunities altogether.
~Sincerely, Scissors
It’s possible the queen won’t make the speech in person. She’s a mesmer, she can have a clone on the podium or use a watchknight taking her form. She wouldn’t be the first leader to have a double.

Thanks to people like you, encouraging this thing, many hunderds of normal folks have to suffer from frustration and time waste.

To give people the option to pay 300 gems every two weeks for a more exclusive place to do things at? You’ll use it or you won’t. Others will or won’t. How is this an issue?
Because LA offers the same things as the Royal Terrace. Why do we have to pay to get access to content that’s free to use in the first place?
snip
I dunno. Thats pretty much how it starts on every f2p game.
convenience options. people wave away complaints as “You dont have to buy it, its just for convenience” and then they go a bit further the next time,. and then a bit further. until they finally realize they can push anything on consumers they kitten well please.
Finally someone who understands. This is my main concern.
Hate to break it to you, but your main concern is a fallacy. This is known as a “Slippery Slope” argument and it is illogical.
What other companies may have done is 100% irrelevant.
You are basically arguing that since Germany invaded Poland during WW2, Poland should be prepared to defend against an invasion from Kenya since Kenya is having a deep recession.
Because marketing in videos games is pretty much the same thing that waging world wars.

Also in Royal Terrace I get to clink glasses with classy players that want to support Guild Wars 2 rather that complain about equality and communism and the like, old sport.
And we all know ‘classy players’ shoot down and accuse everyone of communism with a different opinion.

So.. this area is exclusive to people who are willing to pay 300 gems every 2 weeks? While LA has the same content for free!? I.. just.. WHAT?
Why?
I just.. have no words for this, this is unbelievable…
EDIT: And yes, I know the area isn’t that big and I probably shouldn’t care so much. But still, I’d really like to know why Anet chose to do this.
~Sincerely, Scissors
I have been wondering the same thing since launch. It makes no sense at all. Anet doesn’t want racial skills to give a specific race an unfair advantage, making the skills weak/useless isn’t the solution….
~Sincerely, Scissors
Not really, it just means that he/she doesn’t get bored from an endless and repetitive grind.

Anyone in Tyria care anymore about dragons, undead, destroyers, and the uncountable of dangerous creatures menacing the peace?
I think this game have too much “festivals, Parties” contents. Lest have more Mass destroying, Catastrophe, Collateral damage and destruction contents or change the dragon Logo to a Balloon and a cake icon to suit you game.“Anyone on earth care anymore about famine, wars and the uncountable of dangerous diseases? I think this world has too much “fun” and “apathy”. Let’s have more mass protests, anarchy, revolutions!"
Because video games = real life…

So we will never face the other dragons and get new zones…
We had an entire story, several zones and much more for just one dragon: Zhaitan.
When we’re going to face the other dragons I expect nothing less. But they can’t fit 3 or more zones, a huge line of quests and all the content that comes with it in Living Story, there is just no way. Living Story content is just too small, insignificant and (mostly) temporary..Why would it be impossible for the Living Story, but not for an expansion?
If they’ve got 4 teams, what’s to say that one of them teams aren’t working on a massive update they’ll be released in 6 months time?
People are too caught up on labels to see that LS and expansions are exactly the same thing; content updates.
It’s technically possible of course, but up until now, al the LS updates have been tiny (mini game here, temporary dungeon there). I just don’t see it happening, but I really hope I’m wrong.

This.. is.. crazy…
Seriously, these nerfs would butcher the guardian.
I hate it when people ask for nerfs, it’s downright arrogant to ask to nerf/ruin someone else’s game experience simply because you want it. Especially if you want the nerfs in pve.

Well you guys like to waste your time.
Oh my god, people with a different opinion! How dare they!
And we all know having fun is a waste of time..

The most consistent (and least constructive) complaint is people complaining about complaining. Forums are for feedback, both negative and positive. It’s just less common for people to give positive feedback because they are busy enjoying it.
Finally, someone who gets it instead of just shouting the words “crying”, “complaining”, or “QQ” every time someone threatens their fanboy mindset.
Because everyone with a different opinion is a fanboy

If you’re going to troll, at least spell our name right..
Trolls are inferior lifeforms. It is neither logical, nor professional, to expect any degree of higher intelligence from them. Like Ettins, they are barely capable of speech, let alone proper grammar while writing. If they manage to spell a word correctly, you should consider them to be a genius among their peers. But it is laughable to expect a troll to spell everything correctly, or to get even the most simple of words, like the name of our race, correct at any given time.
Hmm… Perhaps if we hybridized them with the skritt and allowed them to congregate in large numbers… No, that would be dangerous and reckless for the research team. Perhaps I should simply write that proposal up, hype it among my peers, and allow the Inquest to steal it so they shoulder the burden of risk…
It’s not that kind of troll I was referring to, my esteemed colleague.

“Play the way you want”, eh?
Awesome. I want to play as a cheerleader. Human, female. No armor. Uses /dance and writes GOGO TEAM in allchat. Runs away as soon something comes to close.
Okay, lets be serious now. When you enter a dungeon, you enter a group. So stop running selfish and bad builds and start beeing more usefull. As soon as you do that, you shouldn’t be afraight of gear/buildchecks. It doesn’t need to be the meta or the most efficient, but when I see one more MF/PVT – ranger with a bear spamming LB1 I am going to cry.
And we all know that group based content invalidates all build variety and gives party leaders the right to dictate others about how they should play.
Seriously though, yes there are some idiots with builds that simply don’t work, and if only those builds get rejected having inspect would be fine. But we all know that isn’t the case is it? There will be a lot of people who get rejected (even though their build is fine) because the party leader believes everyone in his group should play like him/her.
No thank you.
~Sincerely, Scissors
Turn down volume or mute the game.

Just my 2 cents. It’s something called Vocal Minority, people who are disappointed with the game angrily voice their opinions when the people who actually like the game don’t say anything at all, because there is nothing to say.
