It’s an offensive heal, it’s pretty awesome to start with 3 phantasms right away. Sure the heal and utility can’t match with another heal. However if you spawn 2 disenchanter for example you got your condition remover, or 2 defender for out “healing” (protecting) the mantra heal for allies. It’s very complex – I like it.

Mesmer damage is ok like any other class, not low, nor super duper high (unless 3 iWarlocks on dwayna 25k <3). The question is allways: Will you count passive damage for yourself or for others? If you do it for yourself we got an Elite that simply deals about 175’000 single target and 525’000 cleaved damage. But nevermind ye? It’s passive damage.

I can’t talk for PvP or WvW, but PvE I see no reason to go celestial at the moment. Sure you can make use of condition damage too, but … Why should I waste much power, a bit precision for … well … condition damage?
The additional damage with the condition damage surely won’t outdamage the adiitional damage from the missing power and precision, that’s the point.

It’s awesome I have no probs to time it properly. Harpy fractale, wall fractale, CoF 1 endboss if no feedback is rdy, and kinda everywhere else where you better shouldn’t drop. I mean it’s instant – how can you miss it?

I just wanted to know how much a perfect Infusion costs and when to stop upgrading one. I mean if you infuse a +10 AR infusion, you won’t get it out anymore and have to “restart” the construction of a perfect +15 AR infusion, but +15 seems a bit hard so …
I was kinda shocked :o I calculated the prize of ~23 silver per +1 AR infusion (guess it’s current price) and this was the result:

… and a warrior deals even more damage with a guard than a 2nd warrior. Same for Mesmer or Engineer.

How do you handle phantasms? When I tried a shatter build I allways felt like “hm I shouldn’t have shattered my warden, his attacks would have dealt mroe damage” :s

Not regarding the bleeds on blunderbuss … where do u see more damage? :-o
434 / 1.5 = 289.33
618 / 1.6 = 386.25
289.33 =/= 386.25
Since there is no real base damage either the first damage number or the ratio of one skill is wrong. The difference is higher than just 0.1, it’s more about 0.6 more. So if 434 +1.5 is right, aswell the 618, then the 618 scales with 2.1.
What is sure is that there is something definitly wrong with these wiki nubers.

Yeah, I have great hopes with this change. Otherwise, I am really thinking into shelving my mesmer.
If you are about damage only – yes. However passive damage, utility (incl reflection) and a almost 200k dmg TW is what the Mesmer is about.

I just finally started my female Charr warrior and I really enjoy the heavy armor outfits. I’m just a bit confused by all those many traits, skills and weapons since I have 0 expirience with warriors. I would be pretty happy if one could tell me:
what the best weapons are: I like double Axe, but I feel a horn offhand is stronger and a GS / Rifle for ranged if required.
what traits I should go for: Any “must haves”?
what Utility / Elite / Heal are the best?

Dungeons? Each run gives you ~1 lv. There are many easy dungeons and the higher you get the faster you level. But primary – events. And start with a insta lv 20 scroll :P

I don’t think the enemy won’t do anything during this rota. So you probably simply heal the full amount of the sigill wich won’t waste it.

A mage type class wearing a pistol is same absurd as wearing a bow. That’s why it fits
However I don’t doubt about seeing a Mesmer wearing a dagger, pistol, shortbow or a fan or whip.

If you cause conditions on an enemy you will go in combat. Just close the curtain and the pull won’t aggro them.

The original system (singly fury with uber duration) had two flaws:
If your phant was hit by a boon remover, it never got fury again
If anyone hit an enemy’s phant with a boon stealer, he stole fury with uber duration
So it was changed to 10s fury (+ boon duration) every 10s
Like when starting exploring a world map you steal fury, protection or vigor from enemies and share it with 5 other mesmers for infinite buff dura? xD Had 4:30 hours protection once :o <3

Am I the only one who’s gonna take more GS now? I mean … 2, 3, 4, 4, swap, kill. At least against many targets in dungeons (3+). It’s pretty cool that you can just start with 2 phantasms. 2 Wardens <3

Thats just wrong maxinion … The iWarlock outdamages the iSwordman at 4 conditions+. It also is long range wich makes it more safety to survive. Also – never seen a 25k crit on dwayna? <3 Best day in my life xD

Sure pure Zerk is good there, like everywhere else in PvE. We got infinite vigor and tons of cc with engi,aswell 2 great blinds. To not go zerker is kinda wasted and just lack in evading skill.

Also a condition remover removes the whole stack. Also the most important information about conditions:
New conditions override old ones, they don’t care if the older lasts longer or deals more damage.
Theory: If you cause 25 Stacks bleeding with 2k condition damage for 10 sec, and right after you another one uses a 5 stack bleed with 0 condition damage for 5 sec, the enemy has 25 stacks bleeding, ticking 20 for you and 5 for the other guy. After 5 sec there are just 20 stacks ticking for you.

I have to mention that the CD also resembles the uptime before opening it and 30 sec is too low in PvE for that. Image wanna help someone who just died at a JP, rezz and … oh wait .. already over. ^^

And if you throw it you gain a white big reflection wall or a dark absorbing wall. Both are combo fields.
