Champ farming is done in frostgorge and Orr. Better to do the new zone though.
Exotics don’t drop often but but material for crafting does or can be sold for gold to buy what you want.

Will take you to 70. Just run eotm. As the saying goes if you need to ask the price you can’t afford it.
Craft or buy exotic rampagers and or beserker. Play around with different runes and see how it feels. If you have tons of gold you can try perplexity or tormenting but I would wait until you know what you want from your play style.
Depends on your build. Several like rampagers, I run shatter builds using zerker or sinister sets depending on if if want more conditions or not.
Really would advise ignoring ascended.
edit: I in no way run dungeons, don’t do speed runs and care very little about shaving seconds off killing things.

Dev already posted on this. No time given.
Swing your camera around occasionally. See a red mass say something in chat.
Yes it is annoying and yes it has been mentioned several times. Where it sits on the list of things to do/can do is unknowable to players. I would really like it to be high on the list.
I think that there are at least five other threads front page with a similar tone you could have posted on.
I have not seen it but I would check at 10:30 Pacific time since that is where he is based.
Also try the spot where they are discussing plans for building the boat. There are some funny lines there anyway.
I really like those ideas op. Would hope that they show up one day.
Ranger and learn sword/greatsword or Warrior.
Warrior is the default that most games have. It is easy to learn and hard to make huge mistakes on.
I strongly recommend that you keep going slow (which is fast to 80 anyway). Look around and if you want challenge go to areas a few levels above you. You need about 40% map complete to get to 80 without crafting or other shortcuts, so pick and interesting area that you feel you can handle and go there.
You absolutely can benefit from swapping weapons depending on situation.
Stupid 45 character limit in titles; If you were a writer in the LS2 story, would you push for Caithe to be tried and/or punished for what’s happened?
Both for stealing the egg and for her part in Faolain’s crimes that there is now a prominent, highly respected witness to?
I’d rather wait till the next LS episode. Remember, the whereabouts of Wynne are currently unknown. There may be more skeletons hidden in Caithe’s closet.
Oh, I fully expect Wynne to be dead. It’s the only way this could have remained a secret.
Agree, probably what Scarlet knew about as well.
When you talk the champ skritt burgler at the end of the puzzle it makes sense.
This is it, you don’t like it shame. Not going to change things.
I didn’t really have a response to this thread til I read this quoted post.
No one asked anyone to change anything. Just pointing that out right here, right now.
The OP stated he desires a follow up to GW1, not a theft of names and places used to make an entirely different game. You have two camps here, and the responses will reflect this.
Camp 1: GW1 players who were looking forward to a new engine to GW1 expanding in to crafting (I guess) and such, to provide a new experience with the old game. This was pretty much sold as GW2 right up until the launch when it was clear the Manifesto was ditched.
Camp 2: Players who never played GW1 during it’s glory days and come to GW2 from other games. These are the ones typically stalwartly defending everything in GW2 and poo-pooing anyone who brings up anything with GW1 in the discussion.
And you are not going to get that game. Live with it or not that is the way it is.
There is nothing wrong to voice it out.
After so many years yes there is.

I actually don’t know why people are getting worked up over this. The company has officially stated they will not do something like this. They did so recently as well.
Can’t imagine why it has taken so many days for this topic to turn up.
Petless rangers have been requested since beta. Anet’s stance on it thus far has been a resounding ‘No.’ They see the ranger as a pet class and only a pet class.

Playing the memory was not my problem. My problem was that Caithe has been allowed to walk free for twenty years after that. Feed her to the centares.
As a master chef, my asura could recommend several good dressings!
Was thinking Assura as croutons actually.

Incidentally, Trahaerne is also a GS using necro now.
Always was one.
So pay an optional sub then. I won’t stop you. The devs won’t stop you.
Enter the vipers nest, would not wish it on my worst enemy.
Good luck all that want it though.
ten minute warning posted in game
Raid developer hired or in process. CDI last month about it. Boss visible in new zone. Will match your expectations or not, just a matter of time.
I am also in the minority that enjoyed season one more than two. I also enjoyed things vanishing for ever since to me that is living while now everything is static. I understand why they did it and do enjoy what is released, just wish they could have continued with the initial strategy.
I can sympathize. Hundreds of teq without the specific ascended weapons chest. 170 wurm before the armour dropped.
The consolation is that stat wise my exotics are close enough to make almost zero difference. The ascended jewellery can be bought which makes a difference.
edit: I can craft everything, all at 500. Just selling the ascended mats I make is so much more worthwhile to me.

I came because I was tired of the hamster wheel that most games become. I also came because I try a lot of games. I absolutely did not come because of gw1, that was actually a negative.
I stay because as was said above I am able to jump in and out of content without planning my life around it. I stay because the release schedule is faster than any other game I have played. I stay because to me it is a high quality product.
I stay because I have fun.
they label those of us who spent alot of time trying to improve the game by requesting things that would have increased the fun factor, trolls. That’s the problem I’m seeing. We have a dev team who struggles with connecting with the playerbase that’s left, and we have their white knights attacking those of us who really just want the finally get the game we paid for.
I’m sorry to say this, but the attitude you are displaying in this paragraph is exactly the attitude that has led me to disregard your posts before (and I have read a lot of them over the last few months). Making suggestions is great, and voicing them on the forums is certainly a good way to get them considered. In the end, if your ideas and suggestions are not implemented, this does not mean that the devs have trouble connecting with the playerbase. It just means the playerbase is large and diverse, and the devs connect with a part of it that does not necessarily share all your views and ideas.
Like I mentioned, I have read several of your posts, suggestions and comments, to the point where you have become one of the posters who’s name give me a pretty good idea of what kind of post I’m expecting to read (don’t take this personal, I simply have a good memory for names). Your suggestion may improve the game to you, and increase your fun factor, but they certainly don’t go in a direction I would want the game to go. I’m pretty happy the game is going in a different direction than the one you have been suggesting in the past, because the direction it is going is increasing my personal fun factor much more than your suggestions ever would.
If you could accept that your ideas and suggestions may not always be the be-all-end-all and stop accusing anyone with a different preference to being a “white knight”, I’m sure you’d get a much more favourable reaction to your posts.
+1
And waiting the two weeks until release is too hard or what?
I use it all the time in pve. One of the benefits of mesmer is that all the weapons are effective. I personally enjoy greatsword.
This goes for every single class in the game if you don’t give a kitten about being as effective as you can be, so how is this “one of the benefits of mesmer” exactly?
Maybe relax a bit?

I have four full sets of tools. I have a very strong suspicion that I am not alone.
Long term loss is the people wanting the convienience of not dropping by the bank to switch tools.
Dont use greatsword on mesmer.
?
You miss the subtle difference between lenght and difficulty. The fights are doable by my dog playing a naked mesmer with scepter mainhand only. You’re all assuming miku is talking about difficulty, because you probably all thought you were da best ending that ls. However, he’s speaking about the nullification of more than half a profession from a mechanic oversight.
He also showed via the video that this was not the case.
Early story is fairly branched so you will see quite a bit of difference. After claw island even with different choices it is fairly much the same through orr. Most of my characters I stopped at claw island just to get the 1k guild rep. You really don’t need to do the story at all to do other later living story episodes.
Let me see if I get this right.
The OP makes several claims in absolute terms that the new story bosses are deliberately designed to prevent mesmers from finishing.
Several people point out that yes it is very doable on mesmers and offer suggestions.
OP and others jump on them saying they are noobs with no clue because OP is the worlds best dungeon speed runner.
Video by OP completely contradicting the absolute statements made by OP is not relevant because it took him 5 hours to do what others had previous suggested.
Did I miss something?
Has been suggested, recently too if you looked. Will show up maybe but I doubt it since they would need to reimburse all the people who bought multiples plus it would be a long term loss for the company.
Champ bags the dice rolls when you open it. As pointed out above the loot changes depending on the level of the character opening it.
You don’t need to put anything in a guild bank. All personal bank spaces are saved, all gold is saved. Just soul-bound items are lost and anything on the deleted characters.

Wasn’t there a champ turtle or such in the sylvari starter zone, got removed during beta. Could be that.
I would love this !! is there maybe a official way we can sugest the idea ?
This is the official way.
Actually, I do “believe”. So please don’t speak for me. The frustration many of us feel is in how long it takes for them to release content, not that they don’t release any at all.
Unfortunately, an objective majority of the player base feels the way OP does. It is nice that you are content though.
subjective group on forums thinks is what you should write.
wow
the hammers at blue fort? Try to step outside and maybe you can find some use for them…
This.
Context seems to be missing so really don’t get it.
