I doubt ArenaNet cares how old its playerbase is. As long as people keep playing and buying into the game, that’s all that matters. They are a business, after all.
Likely never. Closest we might get to Elona is when we take on Kralketorrik. Certain Asian countries took offense to Cantha’s architecture and theme, and of course these days just about any form of Middle Eastern theme is offensive to a lot of people. I could be wrong, but I doubt we’ll ever see Cantha or Elona again because political correctness is running rampant.
2015 is the year gamers are supposed to SKIP pre-ordering to try to help the gaming developers take their games back from money hungry publishers. DO NOT PRE-ORDER GAMES AND DON’T ENCOURAGE IT. Dang guys.. learn.
So disappointed to see people all pumped about pre-orders. It seems gamers never learn.
Where was it decreed that 2015 was the year of the no predorder?
I did, just now. Say no to pre-orders.
NO! NO NO NO NO NO! No pre-orders! Please do not encourage ArenaNet or NCSoft to create pre-order bundles that explicitly withhold features/content from those who don’t pay early. EA already does this and the end up releasing unfinished or poorly made games. Pre-orders are how big corporations make a profit without even delivering a product.
ArenaNet, please, I beg you. IF you do a pre-order option PLEASE do not make it so that there is some content/feature/item that you can only get by giving you guys money for an unfinished product. I want to give you my money, but not like this.
I think the current limit is 64 character slots (don’t quote me on that, I just vaguely remember hearing that). If this is indeed the case, do you really have 64 character slots already in use?
I liked the dervish as well, but clearly the revenant is closer to the ritualist than the dervish. Until we get a profession that sacrifices their own boons in favor of a power boost, we have no dervish.
As far as I recall every jumping puzzle requires you to go upwards, a glider just helps you glide downwards. I guess updrafts to keep you aloft will be limited to the new areas of the expansion.
What he said. Hanggliding is not flying. It is controlled falling. I don’t think we should worry too much about exploits. They would obviously not be usable in PvP or W3 because duh.
I speculate Q3 this year. The trailer looks like a relatively fleshed out game. Do remember that NCSoft is expecting large profits in Q3 from GW2. I don’t have a link to the data, but it’s been bouncing all over the forums in recent weeks.
Then again… Q3 might be when they allow pre-orders, rather than the actual game itself. If this is the case, I must beseech all of you in the community to not buy a pre-order. We have to drive the point that pre-orders are not an okay practice. Don’t give a corporation your money for an unfinished product. Doing so is what makes EA and Ubisoft think it’s okay to push out unfinished games. Don’t let NCSoft become EA/Ubisoft. What’s worse, pre-orders set it up so that they can withhold some content that you will miss out on if you don’t give them money right away (like full multiplayer maps in some EA games).
I have foolishly payed for pre-orders in the past, let’s not keep validating pre-orders. I’m not saying HoT WILL have a pre-order or WILL withhold some content from you if you don’t pay up right away, but if they do I hope you don’t give in.

That would be so kittening awesome if we could channel our GW1 characters, even if only by name.
Getting Elite Skills Like in Guild Wars 1
in Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns
Posted by: Zera Allimatti.2541
Ah yes, I miss hunting down bosses for elite skills. I don’t think it will happen though. That’s way too big of a change at this point in the game.
An outfit that has no actual gameplay function…. how does that equate to dervish aspects? I’m tying to find your logic here but I’m just not seeing it. Sure, it looks like something a GW1 Dervish might wear, but come on. Besides, the revenant is to have heavy armor, and if you look here https://heartofthorns.guildwars2.com/en you can see what the revenant class might look like armor wise.
What you are suggesting is kind of saying that the noble count outfit would have some benefits of human nobility, or the chef outfit would somehow give you access to new cooking recipes. It’s purely cosmetic and have no bearing on current or future gameplay mechanics or playable professions.
plz dont make new GS legendary weapon
in Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns
Posted by: Zera Allimatti.2541
The legendary greatswords are really only one. The only difference is the color scheme, really, otherwise they are completely identical. The third one is just a combination of the two… still technically the exact same thing.
They really should add a different legendary greatsword skin (preferably one that doesn’t look like an oversized hunk of mass).
While we’re on the topic, I hope they add bows that aren’t too ‘pretty’, or weapons that have more visual attack effects like the legendary spear with the critical hits having a shark animation.
Really though, the main thing I want is another legendary that is a nod to GW1 just like the Flameseeker Prophecies currently is. Maybe a legendary named after Shiro’s Affliction or Abbadon’s Nightfall. I made Flameseeker for the name, the skin is just a bonus.
I really don’t mean to be condescending when I say this, but if your financial troubles are so bad that you cannot afford to buy a game (something that is completely unnecessary), you have bigger things to worry about than whether or not you can continue the LS. But there is a way.
Finances are tight for a lot of people right now, I understand that, but it is not hard to save up, say, $30-$60 (speculating on price) over the course of the next few months (speculating on release date). Saving up some money is not hard, you just have to discipline yourself, maybe cut back on going out, or buying that daily cup of starbucks, or buying other games. There are people who paid off nearly $100k in debt in about 3 years by making serious sacrifices. Surely you can afford to cut back on one thing and use that money you would normally spend to save up. If you can afford to pay a monthly fee for internet access, then you can find a way to set aside a few dollars each month to save up to buy a game.
Remember, games are to be bought with money you are prepared to use as kindling for a fire. Look up how to set up a budget, figure out where your money is going, and redirect a small bit to your fund to save up. You can do it, it just requires a little bit of time, effort, and possibly giving up something you enjoy for a little while.
Offer to babysit someone’s kids. There are millions of hard working families who are struggling with childcare while they work. Go mow some lawns. Know how to fix cars? Offer your services to people for a small fee. Are you good with computers? Use those skills and offer your services for a small fee. Like to draw and are pretty good? Offer up commissions to people for a small fee. Like the Joker said “If you’re good at something never do it for free.”
You can do it, you just have to make the effort. Unless you are literally homeless and have no employment and no skills to offer (in which case you probably also can’t access the internet and can’t read this), you can afford the expansion.
I like this idea! Unfortunately I doubt ArenaNet can pull it off especially if it had a toggle option. We can hope, but don’t hold your breath.
The one I offer is more for the GW1 veterans, and it’s more of a pickup line.
“Are you suffering from Exhaustion? Because you’ve been Zojun’s Hasting through my Fevered Dreams all night.”
GW1 featured fully skippable cutscenes.
Often, they were either at the begining of a mission or at the very end so it wasn’t hard to make them skippable.
Some of the cutscenes that could be skipped and weren’t at the start/end of a mission could be abused by the players, for example the Malyx skip/bug that was never fixed.
Yeah, but there were plenty of cutscenes mid-mission that transitioned along with the mission just fine. Like the first time we meet Vizier Khilbron or during the mission where we accompany Rurik through the shiverpeaks to Kryta and he offers the player an ale.
With the GW2 engine being a better engine than GW1, shouldn’t that mean it is capable of doing what GW1 did plus more?
The exploits like the Mallyx one, that is not the fault of skippable cutscenes, that is the fault of ArenaNet making a programming mistake somewhere. It’s only worse that they didn’t fix it. I think they were working on GW2 and GW Beyond stuff by then, though, so naturally GW1 issues that didn’t revolve around that fell on the priority list.
There’s a bigger technical issue—during “in game” scenes, the NPCs are moving around and things are happening (gadgets might be activating, props may be animating, etc.) and if you just skipped all that, it could lead to some really bizarre behavior. Trying to manually set a “failsafe” to teleport the NPCs, fire off effects, etc. to replicate what the world state is if the cutscene plays is extremely tedious and error prone.
That’s why the old style “dialogue cutscenes” (and the fancy but rare full blown cinematic sequences, like the Order movies and racial intros) are skippable, because we aren’t doing anything to the world while the dialogue plays, so skipping it doesn’t have any effect. We’ve moved away from those, because the in-game scenes are a lot more satisfying, but there’s a trade off.
GW1 featured fully skippable cutscenes. The cutscenes in that game did the same thing where the cinematics were being rendered in real-time, actually moving your characters and NPCs around. Basically the game removed the UI and control from the player and moved characters where they needed to be as the scenes played out. When a player skipped the cutscene everything just jumped to wherever the game intended that the player/NPCs be at. For players that didn’t skip the cutscene, they could just sit back and enjoy the cutscene while the others went ahead and continued doing things and killing bad guys. Once the cutscene was over for them, those players be right where the other players were when they skipped it and just ran to catch up with the rest of the party and continue like normal. If that cinematic was the end of the mission instance, the player was instantly transported to the next town/outpost that the mission intended.
I get that it’s not the exact same game, and it was developed mostly by different people who are no longer part of ArenaNet, but I was under the impression that the GW2 engine is heavily modified version of the GW1 game engine. If this is the case, how is it not possible to do the same thing as before? Would it be possible for you guys to look back at GW1 and take inspiration from it? I know that’s asking a lot, but maybe you can?
The last thing the game needs is more filler content to detract from the main plot and primary antagonists. The entire time after the first Wintersday in 2012 leading up to Scarlet’s attack on Lion’s Arch last year was filler. If it weren’t for that last 10 seconds of that cinematic after we killed her, that entire thing would have had absolutely NOTHING to do with any elder dragons at all. Save these ideas for AFTER we kill all the dragons.
Honestly, I wish ArenaNet would just come out and say “It’s not an expansion.” so people would shut up, but that wouldn’t be a good business move.
It’s not a good business move either to let hype grow when you know the news will be a disappointment in comparisson
As the saying goes, there’s no such thing as bad publicity. At the very least, the hype is creating attention for the game, even if I don’t agree with the hype. Even though I think it’s silly for people to get their hopes up, I still think it’s great that people are at least interested in what is just a few days away. I’m excited to see what changes are coming, but I’m not holding my breath, either.
Fair enough.
I’m pretty much in the same boat. As the saying goes “Hope for the best but prepare for the worst.”
Wow, civility in a forum? GASP! You rock!
I still say it’s Ellen Kiel. I hear crossplay is all the rage these days. Women passing as men, or pretending to be male for whatever reason, it’s simply deception and misdirection to hide the truth. It’s Ellen Kiel. The plot thickens. DUN DUN DUN!

I wont speculate on whether or not it is an expansion. If it is, then great. If it isn’t, then it’s business as usual and the game will just chug along like normal. Either way, we’ll find out soon enough what all the fuss is about.
They will come out and say on Saturday. Why say anything now?
Yes, I know. I just said that… did you only read the first sentence and immediately reply? It really wasn’t that much more reading. Come on.
Yes I read it and the experience was not enjoyable. Come on.
Are you sure? You kind of just repeated what I said, which is fine but all you had to say was “I agree with you” or “This”. Should I have tossed in pointless speculations for your enjoyment? There’s plenty of that elsewhere on the forum with the various discussions going on. No enjoyment was meant from anything I said. It is not good to look for something that isn’t there to begin with.
There’s no denying that KasMar were useless in that instance. Too busy talking about how they can’t stand the sight of each other getting hurt rather than helping you rescue the crash victims, much less helping you at all.
Honestly, I wish ArenaNet would just come out and say “It’s not an expansion.” so people would shut up, but that wouldn’t be a good business move.

“BAAAAWSS!”
Yes, yes, I heard you the first time, Braham. :P
I can relate to this so much. During that whole encounter and hearing Braham shout at me repeatedly, the entire time I was thinking “Really? It’s me we’re talking about, quit worrying. There is too much fear and concern in your voice. Stop that.”
This thread is awesome! I viewed all of them and you guys are quite the inspiration!
2. Armor tailored to fit a Charr will not fit an Asura.
tell that to ascended armor lol.
Ladies and gentlemen, in all seriousness, even if the stat increase from Exotic to Ascended is hardly noteworthy, it is totally worth crafting your ascended armor so you can give it to your other characters on a whim.
Below is some compiled data for the stat increases if you don’t believe me when I say the stat increases are hardly worth the effort. It is a very old thread so please do not reply to it. You’re not supposed to bump up threads that are very old. Read only.

The next thing is, I’m pretty sure there are many people who are used to certain skills on certain slots, so if you swap in something differently you kinda have to change the order. It’s an annoying thing to do, if you only want to swap places. So why no track and drop thingy to swap the order of the utility skills? It would be really nice.
Funny thing, GW1 had that exact feature for moving around skills that were already on your bar. Since in that game you could only move skills around when you were in towns/outposts instead of your combat instances, it was simple drag and drop. They should bring this feature back using the right-click you mentioned to select the skills, and right-click-hold to move those active skills around the skill bar.
hint hint wink wink ArenaNet look to GW1 for inspiration
GW1 was amazing game but its time to move on man:-)
Yes. I gave that game a good 7 years of my life. Among the best games of all time in my opinion, but alas I have played it enough.
The only way to perfectly end GW1’s reign is to give us the option to install the game on our computers to play offline even after ArenaNet finally shuts down GW1’s servers, with the option of doing LAN parties to play with friends in real life. Not going to happen, I know, but I think that would be awesome.
I enjoy the gameplay itself of the PvP scene, it’s the other players that I have an aversion to. See, everyone and their mother will insist that you are playing wrong and that you are a horrible person for having the audacity to play something different from them.
Then you have the ones who think they are better than you without realizing that all players in PvP are nothing but target practice. That’s how I see it. You are all just practice, nothing more. I use other players to test the effectiveness of builds. Feel free to see me in the same light, it’s totally fine.
The chat is irrelevant because you can simply turn if off, which I usually do because no one ever has anything to say that is even worth reading. It is literally a cesspool. I use party chat to communicate with those on my team, but that’s it.
I do like the reward tracks, those are great. I get that not all players in the PvP are trashy people, but nothing good for me ever came from talking to people in PvP. I beat one person and here comes a firestorm of cursing and other attempts to offend me. I just let them say whatever they want and think nothing of it. I just chuckle and keep playing the game, because playing the game is fun.
As long as this change FINALLY fixes the issue with Warrior GS skill 5 ‘Rush’ that has been around SINCE BEFORE RELEASE, then this coming patch is golden in my book. The rest of the changes look good too, but this particular issue that has been around since before release is long overdue for a real fix. crosses fingers for a bug fix almost 3 years in the making
I’m just going to be blunt: you’re a fool if you think a full blown expansion will come totally free. ArenaNet is, first and foremost, a business. Businesses are for profit. ArenaNet employees have lives to live, bills to pay, mouths to feed. $40-60 is not that much, and it boggles my mind that people think that is a ridiculous amount. It blows my mind even more than people think a game is a must-have thing. It’s only a game, folks. You should only use money you are prepared to use as kindling to buy things like games. Budgeting, it’s a good thing.
Start saving your money now so you can buy it if there really is an expansion coming.
Might definitely helps with condi damage. My asura warrior is my condi warrior (only good way to get poison on a warrior, and no sigil of doom is hardly noteworthy for poison). Bringing FGJ helps boost that damage for sure. If you’re in a group that buffs you with might, even better. 3k-5k+ ticks are possible
Long story short, there is no such thing as too much might, no matter what build you use.
OP asked for a way to report these players, Gaile answered. Pretty sure most sensible people know how to deal with trolls. Besides, what the OP was describing are grievers, not trolls.
Trolls just say things that instigate pointless arguments or blow up chat just to get a reaction from people because they get enjoyment out of people’s various reactions. I admit I too sometimes say dumb things to get reactions out of people for my own amusement, but I don’t actually go to the realm of what some call ‘verbal abuse’. To combat a troll is to simply ignore everything they say. Done. When I say dumb things in map chat and there is no response, hey guess what, I stop.
Grievers, though, actually DO things that affect your game play, such as was described by others like holding an event item and stopping progress, or joining a dungeon group and kicking players out, or pretending to sell a dungeon path and just kicking a player out of the instance after taking the money.
Trolls and grievers are not the same thing.
Gaile, might I recommend adding a ‘player grieving’ option in the reporting feature? I could have sworn we already had that option.
My main character is a Sylvari. This patch just vilified all Sylvari. Sure, the players themselves are obviously immune to the effects because duh you’re not just going to make everyone’s Sylvari characters suddenly not playable. Obviously the NPCs in the Grove are immune because duh you’re not going to lock out an entire capitol city from the player base. Certain renown heart events and other in-game events involve Sylvari so duh you’re not going to just remove all those events.
What I’m concerned about is the remainder of the game’s story. Even after we destroy Mordremoth (assuming that’s where the story is going) and it somehow frees Sylvari from its influence, Sylvari will be forever tainted and seen as ‘that race’. They already are, considering what that kitten Scarlet did to LA. What’s to stop all Sylvari from just dying once Mordremoth dies (besides obvious plot convenience and the fact that they’re a playable race)?
What about Trahearne? If we assume he is turned, the Pact is now without a marshall. Who is to take his place? The player? I’m Sylvari. In the context of the game’s events, it wouldn’t make sense within the game world.
What about Caithe? Did she turn? We can’t assume she didn’t. Why were only some turned and not all? Why not Canach? Was it just because he was a little further away? What about Faolain? Wooden Potatoes pointed out that the corrupted Sylvari had a red glow about them, but Faolain did not. He also pointed out that Canach did have a red glow, but it’s implied he didn’t turn, but he… and… and why does everything smell like copper? O_o
I’m sure that the writers will have things explained in-game eventually, but I can’t help but feel that the whole thing will just end up being a big serving of deus ex machina. I certainly hope that is not the case. I hope the writers didn’t write themselves into a corner.
It’s Ellen Kiel.
I think it might be confusing to call someone “Commander” when there is the Commander rank in the game. It seems that the team chose more generic terms to avoid confusion with actual game-achieved attainments.
Really, Gaile? The personal story has the player referred to as Commander for the later half of the personal story, and the LS is an extension of said story. I fail to see how it would be confusing.
The commander feature isn’t a ‘rank’. A rank implies authority over others, and player commanders have no such thing. It is a feature to allow players to stand out to help organize events such as Tequatl (spam cleanse on that dorito icon) or with the new daily system (there is an event happening here, come to this dorito icon to participate as well). When I’m exploring the zone that is for the daily events and I come across an event I turn on my tag to let others know where to go if they are so inclined. I have no authority over any other player and don’t pretend to. Please forward this thread to the LS writing team so they can at least consider writing in ‘commander’ instead of ‘boss’ for the voice acting.
You could have at least said something funny like “We pay our voice actors per letter, commander costs more than boss.”
It’s because I absolutely hate Quaggans, my main is a Sylvari, and everyone at ArenaNet is a Quaggan sympathizer (along with far too many in the player base). I openly hate on Quaggans so ArenaNet said “Screw you Zera, all Sylvari will now be hated because of your sacrilege.” :P

Actually, give us the batpod and you will have support of pretty much everyone, even if the idea is as unique as a hydrogen atom.
I would only be in favor of SAB coming back if it were made PERMANENT rather than the temporary mess it started as. Why keep the NPC and the entry point for it in Rata Sum but remove the feature?
I personally don’t care for SAB, but I’m sick of seeing all this “Bring back SAB” stuff. Just bring it back and make it permanent. That will put an end to about half of the spam posts, at least. Less reading for you, ArenaNet.
2 Elonian Leather Squares for me.
Either I traveled back in time to a point where I haven’t commented on this post, or it’s this post all over again. I’m going to say it’s the former and I have somehow discovered time travel!
Anyway, this idea has been coming up a lot lately. They all sound roughly the same with a few tweaked differences here and there. Ultimately they all just want to imitate the Death Knights from WoW. I get that it was a very popular class in that other game, but this is not that other game, and just because that game does it does not mean this game should do the same.
If you’re going to try to ‘spice it up’ with things like gravity and electromagnetism, at least call it something more interesting sounding like a chronomancer or something.
Dark Knight is just a rip off of Death Knight which is a rip off of Shadow Knight which is a rip off of Oblivion Knight which is a rip off of insert whatever ominous word you want here Knight. I’m afraid it’s not new. :/
I don’t think it’d leave the masses happy with a few unhappy outliers. I think it’d leave a lot of people going ‘Well, there’s that’ in very bitter to alienated to apathetic tones, and a few strutting around feeling like they were the champions of the world.
From my experience with the Royal Alchemist system people were always happy to see you, since you could potentially help them and understood it was a high end prestige, I never say anyone bitter about not being one. A few people did go “man I wish I could become one sigh” but then went on and did there own thing for goals within their reach.
Let’s try to be constructive :
- Fragment of war seem to easy to gain add one 0 to the rank. Rank 2500+ would be much more accurate for “prestige”.
- Why do you go half pvp rank while full pve challenging stuff completion? Rank 80! nothing more nothing less (I assure you there are more then enough that are at this rank)
- What do you do about the fact that PvE in it’s whole is united in a megaserver? your “reward” lose automatically it’s prestige don’t you think?
- What happen to people that have a lot of character and use all of them equally? Will each character be a racial hero or just one? in case if it’s just one, will the time while the character ain’t played count as actual non connection?
- Lot’s of people pass from one server to another will they lose their statut? Some unproductives thought :
I think you’ve got an idea that might be interesting, but at the same time you’re developping it in the wrong direction.
“Prestige” in guild wars 2 should most likely get through skin and maybe title. But PvE don’t fit the requirement for “server prestige”. Servers are here for WvW, everything else is megaserver. The server limitation is for the amount of players that can have the status, at 5200 I think it would be at a level where you’d see one per map at any given time. Changing server would cause you to lose the status and be placed on the reserve list for that server (unless they have less than 100 people in which case you retain it.)
The benefits are account wide but the title unlock is for the city you’re representing.
Believe it or not this is actually my compromise I was suggesting elite prestige skins but people kept complaining every time I did so this is my meeting them half way, no skins but you can clearly tell who they are.
Like always i’m totally against wasting developer ressources to create content just for a very small minority.
Of an active player-base of around 300k , 5.2k is not that small. Additionally there has to be increasingly difficult and minority oriented goals otherwise there is nothing for the people at the top.
The luminescent armor might be the hardest thing someone at the 50th percentile has done but someone at the 90th percentile could breeze through it. Likewise someone at the 90th percentile might feel getting a legendary was hard or fractal 50 but someone at the 99th percentile might have half the set and find it relatively easy.Getting a ‘stronger’ weapon or a ‘unique’ skill that most players will be excluded from is just a bad idea all around. Most players will never get a precursor drop or a legendary weapon, but that doesn’t leave them at a playing disadvantage thanks to the lack of a ‘higher than best in slot’ mechanic like you are proposing.
If you read my proposal you’ll notice it offers absolutely no combat or stat advantage so I’m not quite sure what you’re on about.
Unless I’m confusing your post with one from someone else, you probably changed something in the post. I remember it being mentioned something about these ‘heroes’ being able to become a 6th party member for a dungeon and that they get a unique item that is a little stronger.
I predict fixes to some bugs and new bugs where there previously weren’t or were once previously fixed.
So I was exploring in Fields of Ruin and I went to the quarry right outside of Ebonhawke to try to do the daily Ascalon miner thing. Much to my dismay, there were no mining nodes in the quarry. The nearest one was way out by where the ogre wars take place (the final event, not the pre-events).
I realize that gathering nodes are randomly generated for the most part, but wouldn’t it be cool if you can walk into a woodland-like area that has slightly more lumber nodes, or an open field or farmland with slightly more harvesting nodes or, existence forbid, a quarry that actually had a couple of mining nodes?
Maybe I just got unlucky and was placed in a bad instance that was ravaged by the game’s brutal RNG, but I think it would be great to be able to go to a quarry and actually always find a couple of mining nodes.
Anyone else get their hopes dashed like this? I mean, Tyria is already full of varying terrain types. Why not nodes to match the terrain?
EXTREMELY USEFUL for when you create a new character and want to skip the atrocity that is the NPE (I’m not a new player, so I’m not a fan). I gathered a bunch of them, used a scroll, the tomes, and writs I’ve acquired and got to 60 in about a minute. Then I did a few personal story instances to 66, then crafted two disciplines and ding 80.
What you are proposing does not sound fun at all. It comes off as elitist and as Arden mentioned, ego stroking.
Getting a ‘stronger’ weapon or a ‘unique’ skill that most players will be excluded from is just a bad idea all around. Most players will never get a precursor drop or a legendary weapon, but that doesn’t leave them at a playing disadvantage thanks to the lack of a ‘higher than best in slot’ mechanic like you are proposing.
If you want to stand out (good luck, the internet is shrouded in anonymity), there are other ways of doing it.
You can be helpful to other players (or in my case stand out as a cynic with a chip on his shoulder who doesn’t really have a filter and I’m okay with that), you can organize events with other players, you can be ‘that kitten’ that no one likes, you can never turn off your commander tag and be ‘that commander’, you can start a youtube channel for GW2 shenanigans (helps to be charismatic and funny).
Or realistically, get yourself at the top of the AP and/or sPvP leaderboards. Win tournaments. THAT is how you stand out.
But this ‘hero’ thing… it really does come off as just fluff. There is no real benefit to the overall game that I can see with this proposal. I’m trying to find some good in it (ok I admit, I love the idea of having my ego getting a happy ending), but I’m not really seeing it.
Not saying you’re a bad person for making this suggestion. All people seek approval and validation from other people, but this doesn’t really benefit the game.
And Arden, it’s Slayer of Issomir you were thinking of
I’ve deleted a few 80s. In the early days of the game, I remade my thief like 4 different times. Once I deleted a thief that was lvl 60 (this was back when the leveling was much easier and the NPE didn’t exist, mind you).
Sometimes you’re just not happy with how a character is turning out.
