I am wondering how the prices of the new items sold by the glory vendor decided?

example: 1.5k glory points for 1 tomb of knowledge?

That sounds a bit high considering a daily PvP (3 random PvP matches) gets you around ~500-600 glory points (200 glory each match). So you need to do at least 3 PvP dailies or 9 matches to afford one tomb of knowledge. That takes at least 1 hour in total if doing random PvP matches.

So basically if you are aiming to spend the glory points on tomb of knowldege before it all goes away, it is not worth the time to do anything other than team PvP which gives x5 glory points on win? otherwise you just get the normal random PvP glory points.

I think the glory balance is not done right because if you have a solid Team PvP team you can hord on glory points really quick but if you just looking to random PvP and random Team Pvp, then you are screwed.

please boost the glory reward for random PvP and losing team PvP. You can have your 15-30 silvers back.

I would be happy with 1 glory booster = 1k glory points

8 months of sPvP got me 120k glory points. Now I can spend it all on two T3 sets and pay an additional 120 golds? No thanks….

I laugh at these comments….so because exotics is a slight increase to rares, then we can use rares in WvW? why not just use greens? no wait blues work fine?

Of course it is a slight increase in stats…but it is that slight upgrade that keeps you alive in Zerg fights….

You can sya the same thing about food and oil. It is a slight increase so why bother? because 70+ vitality makes a huge difference when you are standing in 100 necro AoEs and ACs firing down on you..

Today’s patch is a sad day for WvW’ers….

So what is the point of running dungeons now that ascended armor is introduced? Shouldn’t we be able to get the latest tier armor/weapon from running dungeons?

If doing 30 runs of Arah gets me an exotic set when other people with gold have ascended set (crafted), then why would I ever enter a dungeon?

The dungeon gear should be updated to ascended to keep in par with the highest tier armor in game.

It could cost triple the amount of tokens or whatever but it should be obtainable from running dungeons.

I need some advise on crafting all the available lvl 500 professions from 1-500.

• Will the prices for crafting materials and t6 mats drop anytime soon?
• Is using my gold ,which is sitting in the bank collecting dust, for crafting a good idea since I don’t have any use for that gold?
• Should I level to 450 instead of going straight to lvl 500 using www.gw2crafts.net guide?
• What is the benefits of having lvl 500 crafting if I don’t do high level fractals and don’t need that much AR?

in pve to level an alt from 1-80 within a couple of hours it costs you around 200g (from crafting) so 16g and 120k glory is ridiculously cheap in comparison.

wrong. crafting a toon from 1-80 using crafting cost around 120 G lvl 1-400 if you pop a crafting XP booster. Also nobody on thier right mind would craft XP or Glory XP a toon from level 1-20 since it takes less than 2 hours max.

The price is way too high…I have done every single PvP daily since Feb 2014 (last 10 months) and I have got ~100k glory. Now they seem to be pretty worthless?

I have around 160 glory boosters and it is sad that they just going to remove it? I usually save these to tPvP and have crafted some of them.

At least let us salvage them for 10 luck each?

While I don’t think an ascended piece is warranted, but I need to ask; How is a influx of people supposed to be the end of WvW? Are you on a T1 server perhaps?

If a 7 week reward is based on RNG of greens/blues then really not much we can do about it..

So the WvW chest reward disappointment confirms that Anet has no intention of improving how a WvW player is rewarded. Not a single exotic in a 7 weeks content chest? not a single gold? who would have thought? this is worse than a punch in the face…

All we can do at this stage is move on and forget this will ever change. It is the sad truth…

Totally agree…Everything other than gear/armor/weapons should be account bound. Solebound is not relavent in 2014 MMO….Make it accountbound and let us move on…

So i am on vacation for December, I will lose 200k glory? you better give us enough time to make the transitions. PvP glory doesn’t come easy…

I have been trying to read the wiki on how to upgrade my ring to an infused ring. I am wondering where to get the following materials?

Glob of Coagulated Mists Essence
Shard of Crystallized Mists Essence
Vial of Condensed Mists Essence

All three material seems to be required to make the ring infused: To infuse a ring: Place the following in the mystic forge: 1 Shard of Crystallized Mists Essence + 3 Glob of Coagulated Mists Essence + 5 Vial of Condensed Mists Essence+ Ascended ring (ref: Dulfy)

So where to get these materials?

Level 30+ should be 100% chance of at least 1 exotic + 2 rares + 5 G
Level 40+ should be 100% chance of at least 2 exotics + 3 rares + 10 G

I am looking to get a group to run fractals. Currently I am level 10 and know most of the paths and bosses and would like to find a group to level to fractal 30+. I have a warrior zerker and healing support guardian for PvE.

Here are the details:

• Server NA (preferred Blackgate)
• Run at least one or two fractals per day between 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm NA server time.
  NOTE 1: if you cannot run daily then this is not for you.
  NOTE 2: We set a time and if you are not there we LFG your spot.
• Starting level 10
• Must have good gear and some agony resistance.
• Must know your build
• No rushing through contents or skipping or leaving downed players behind and rushing to the boss.
• Not knowing the path or dying is OK.

Let me know if you interested. As long at 4 people respond we can get this going…

I make it simple for you. Save your gold until a precursor drops for you. If it doesn’t then you still have tons of gold in case if you want something else.

A legendary is not everything in this game. Just play the game and have fun…

I started my first fractals runs after the patch and now sitting at level 10. But now I am wondering what is the point? The content is nice and everything but do I really want to go higher levels? All the rewards are account bound so no gold can be made? most of ascended stuff you can buy with luarents and guild tokens or badges or etc. Some of the skins look nice but is it worth it to grind to level 25+ for a chance of drop?

So as a new player I am wondering what is the point of running high level fractals? leader board?

This is why loot should be automatic. It is really puzzling to me why it is NOT.

it is a bug and never will be fixed because it could possibly reset all the achievements.

A good engineer makes all the difference in the world.

Great, another chestbeating thread from BG. Not every server has 24 hour queues all week on all maps and when there is legitimately less people on other respective servers. Even though fighting bgs zone blobs on all maps the with the same 25 people on 3maps, at least we’re getting fights – it would’ve been horribly boring to stay on an overstacked server with no competition.

BG’s commanders pulled off 24-48 hours shifts over the weekend to cover the SEA/Oceanic times. BG doesn’t have queues 24 hours a day. Only during prime NA times you will find queues.

It is the commander’s tactics/strategies and good scouts on BG that make the difference in points.
