first time i played WvW as a guardian, i felt similar. playing again now after hitting 80, albeit having better gear, which does make a difference, i have also learned more of what all my traits mean, how they can synergize with my skills / weapons sets and i have to say, i am enjoying WvW a LOT.

i run with a hammer as well. traited 0/15/30/20/5 for now. 2nd set is scepter and focus/shield, depending. i agree that our ranged attacks might not be as strong, but maybe we don’t need it. i don’t expect myself to be able to hit really far targets like supposed other classes can. here is my general stragey, which will probs change while i keep playing more:

On walls defending:
- if enemies are close enough, i can scepter #3 and then drop a scepter #2 and then spam 1. you can see enemies freak and dodge out or run away
- elite skill: tome of wrath! is awesome on the wall. especially if they’re zerging right at the gate. just keep spamming 1 alone will scare ’em off. best if u can immobilize them first for a few sure seconds of dmg. you can also su pport your troops with the other ToW skills
- when enemies start to run, i jump down and can dish out dmg

On attacking towers, gates, etc:
- i do offer more support than anything but am still able to do decent dmg. again, scepter #2 can reach the wall and will do dmg to those standing on the edge. if not, i jus thammer away and provide protectiong to my folk right up in the frontlines and or chase away those who jump down and sneak attack

General:
- Get your siege weapon blueprints! if anything, as a Guardian you can provide so much support and help ensure siege weapons stay safe and are able to dish out massive dmg against your enemies
- having two immobolizes is awesome hammer #3 and scepter #3, especially against enemies fleeing, and or enemies who got caught or flanked by us
- WvW is a world of range weaponry you say? wall of reflection my friend. let ‘em know they don’t want to be messing with you

and this is just the start. hope you can find ways to enjoy the Guardian in WvW and all aspects of the game. gw2 isn’t WvW. gw2 isn’t PvE or just PvP. it’s a culmination of all and i love every bit of it, and definitely going to main the crap out of my Guardian.

and @Glitch, these things happen. as long as ya don’t let it get to ya! i can’t say i’ve played a lot or am very good, but i manage and always open to learn more. am still discovering new builds and ways to play. this one time, in a dungeon, we were having trouble and all i did was switch out ONE weapon and it made a noticeable difference. so that sort of relates to ur point #2.

and YES re: combo fields! i try to drop fields as much as possible, and when i see certain combo fields, i’ll pull a finished. in case people aren’t familiar with combos yet. even if not planned, all in all, i like to think they will end up benefiting myself and others.

have just been getting more positive experiences throughout my playtime. glad to say, haven’t really seen anything too unfortunate yet. most was this one small dispute (in a dungeon as well!) where people were deciding which route to take. but even then, it wasn’t that bad. so i’m glad in SoR so far it’s been pretty peachy for me (even despite many downs and deaths some times). will definitely try to lead a dungeon next time! might experience it a few more times ,least do all the stories first and get familiar so i can then help others. : ))) only a learning process for me to better myself, and others. so looking forward to that.

have made a few friends in the past week as well! just friendly people all in all. something as simple as i saw someone running from POI to vista to SP, same as i was. so i figured they were going for map clearance. i just sent them an invite and a whisper, and we eventually started to run for a bit together, all the while talking etc and helping others we came across in need. quite simple but so enjoyable.

@Noppy – definitely agree with what you said about what we look to get out of the game. or even more simply, what we just get out of playing the game! definitely love exploring. i see the joys in both solo and in group. but will definitely go out of ways to help people. donno why lol.

quick question – do all of you have guilds already? i’ve recently joined a small/medium-sized one as we clicked rather well in a dungeon, had a lot of fun, and got along with one another. i was honored to be invited. : ))) am wondering though, would it amount to anything if we here started a guild that was dedicated to helping players? certain visions / mission statements / virtures would include dedicating time each week to help those new at dungeons and we’d be offering it to people, and people would know we’re a guidl taht is there to help. and not to put ourselves on high horses, so somehow make that known as well. i truly believe through your actions and words, one can tell a lot about you. not saying it’s everything, and it can be harder on the interwebz, but if no one gets hurt. i think it could be a good idea. you can represent your normal guilds but maybe a certain period of time each week, we’d take the time out and specifically help out new players. we can invite them as well, as long as they’re willing to keep helping others in return when they get experienced enough. this way they can just /g if tey want to run a dungeon fo rthe first time, or just need help in general against a certain boss, or personal story..

if this runs well, we can even set up times where certain people will try to commit to and represent this guild to ensure we get best coverage as possible?

it’s great people are noticing this too. : ))) i’ve just recently been at queensdale and metrica province (as a Norn Guardian) and i too feel that i am killing things too fast when i see other who aren’t downscaled. like many have said, i do check first to see if people are around or if people are coming. if no one, i’ll just kill as usual, using all skills as needed. if there are, then i just stick to auto attack, or my staff for AoE but weaker dmg. and help out other players if needed. hoping i’m not “ruining” a challenge they were looking for, etc. sometimes i even just sit back and stand there. makes me feel sort of just “in the way” but i’d rather that then have other players in their appropriate areas not get the full XP.

or i do like Deistik says when a lot are around. tag a few and then move on.))

these are just for the dungeon weapons though. so you do need to go through the corresponding dungeon and get it with tokens. i feel dark asura might work? so it’s more or less the same as the glyphic but different colors (oooh how i’d love to be able to dye your weapons!!) i sort of want to aim for this one.

@Veracor – magmaton looks awesome.D i was debating between going for that one or the dark asuran. so we’ll see. are there any particle effects to it?

so i found the Energy Crystal the other day from a drop while exploring the Asuran lands (clearing for 100% map). i usually destroy unsalvageable trophy items (should i be saving them? lol) but i saw this one was yellow (rare) so held onto it.

then shortly after someone on map chat asks if anyone knows how to get the crystal to open the cave. i was like “HEEEY!”, link the crystal and ask if this is the one. “might be!” so i head on there. another also says “hold up i’m omw too!”DD excitement ensues.

so we get there.. i see the matrix imprint lock. nothing happens. no “Interact” option. can’t “consume” crystal to use. talked to the Asura outside and he says “yes this is it! now put it in the matrix imprint lock”. run back to the matrix lock. still nothing.

read it up a bit on wiki and says that the researchers will be inside the cave, if not heading inside. but they’re just all standing outside. am i missing something?

felt pretty bad and bummed cause we were all excited. and someone actually spent money to WP to where we were. :///

any ideas? i wanted to check here to see if i was missing anything or doing anything wrong.. before i put it in the game bugs forum. if so, mods feel free to move this.

great work! this is very cool and to be honest, i’ve put the hammer down for a bit but always looking to get back in. : )))

strangely enough, my build is actually quite similar to yours 15 in radiance, 10 in virtues and the rest pretty evenly in honor and valor. i might take 5 off virtues to max out for altruistic healing. i love having spammable VoJ so won’t touch radiance. plus, it helps with getting my crit % up so why not keep it there.

love that this isn’t a set “guide” or “you must do this”. offers some room to customize for your own personal play style. thanks for sharing Brutaly!

for 100% world competion, i believe that WvW IS in fact included. lol. yea it’s tough when you’re blue and the maps you need are exactly not blue. : ///

this goes for all skillpoints, points of interests, WPs and vistas in all Red, Blue and Green borderlands as well as Eternal Battlegrounds. and for certain POIs you need to own the tower to get them.

OP, i am aiming for a legendary down the road as well so i refrain from spending kamra (though i majorly bleeped the other day when i was previewing cultural weps and accidentally double-clicked. O__________o 35k karma gone for a wep worse off than my current drops. lol sigh… so i’m saving up now. and just transmutating better gear while i up my crafting profession and occasionally i get better drops. i’ve only bought some runes that i wanted from the TP to stick into my armor. might shop for jewelry when i have enough gold.

haha Glitch, and all others, great thread!! and glad to see the more helpful and willing community voice out. i’m on Sanctum of Rall and i have to say the experience there has been pretty great so far.

my first dungeon story mode – lot of people were LFG, and i counted enough to form a group, so unsure of what to do, i just invited to party (with whispers) and then it was pretty easy to get a group going! and we had a ranger who was looking for EXP but ended up doing STORY with us. so it’s like u said OP, he saw no one was doing EXP and opted to help us. i let them know it was my first time and everyone was very helpful, giving tips, etc and what to expect. and HOPEFULLY now i feel like i can help lead another group whos’ goign to do story mode for the first time : )))

i pay huge attention to the /m chat, in particular for people who are askign questions and looking for help. i’ve done the same and even gotten whispers trying to answer my questions. : )))

i’ve at 80 now and instead of moving on with my story, or getting the ultimate set (mind you i DO love nice skins so am aiming for a good looking set lol, but am in no rush). so i’ve been frequenting other starter areas since i haven’t done so yet and try to help others out. i like the idea of mentioning that you’re there to help, though i don’t feel i’m that knowledgeable yet but do try to help as much as i can. the other day doing jumping puzzles in LA. the one with the darkened cave, i play a Guard so have a torch (though it doesn’t help THAT much), and i saw a player that kept mis jumping and falling and having to re-do that area, so i stopped, went back and cast symbols on the next jumping block so they could see where they were going. and did get “thank you’s” in return. a group of 4 of us finished the puzzle together and although it was short-lived and donno if will ever run into ’em again, it was fun and hopefully was able to make a difference for someone. : )))

i try to stay and talk after a good fight and on rare occasion a few of us stay behind to chat, while many seem concerned with the loot only and run off. that being said, there are some great players out there and hopefully they’ll keep doing what they’re good at and let this community thrive.D

i use the RMB+LMB for running sometimes too. leaves my left hand free for.. a coke! lol
but usually only if i know i am going straight from point 1 to b without stopping. and then left hand can be used for skills that add swiftness, for e.g.

i currently have only changed A + D to strafe and gotten rid of keyboard turning. i have the Razer Naga as well and i LOVE it. it’kittena fast. have it only 2nd to lowest speed and is by far better than anything i’ve used before.

planning to rebind keys as well. in PvE it’s fine, but sometimes during WvW when needing to use all skills from 1 – 0, i tend to use both hands for the keyboard, and then i lose mobility / camera angles on the mouse.

in mind it’s:
Class skills – F1, F2, F3 unchanged
Weapons – 1-5
Wep swap – Q
Heal – E
Movement – WASD (w/ strafe)
6-0 – ZXCV
Dodge – R and double tap

i like having face turn as well, but will have to remap that now. maybe to B

not the biggest fan of using extra buttons on the mouse, but will maybe get used to that for next enemy or even heals or dodge maybe

i feel my Norn / Guardian – giant with heavy armor – runs slowly than my wife and friend’s thieves. D i claim that jumping with his giant body is harder as well but o well. only makes sense that a larger character has a harder time jumping around in small spaces (jumping puzzles) and or runs / moves slower.

the loud, clunking armor doesn’t help with this perception lol

just adding to my share here. been on since 3 day headstart and all good until about a week or so ago when i kept getting disconnects.

- i play from Hong Kong
- US server – Sanctum of Rall
- usually on around anytime between 8am – 10am EST, sometimes until 1, 2pm
- wife plays through same router

- have checked our settings and nothing diff but she never gets the network DC, is it saafe to assume it’s my laptop then?

- have tried most of the solutions offered on here, redownloaded the giant file and was a bit better went through one night without DC. and then another night with only one, but it’s still there

this is particularly frustrating when in a huge event (dragon) and you get DC, and miss the loot and most of the fight. they’re so fun!!! or personal story where you have to redo everything, OR in WvWvW. i keep takig someone’s spot who’s more useful than i am cause i CAN just get DC-ed whenever, runnin dungeon for the first time got DC-ed twice. i don’t like letting my teammates down, even if they’re strangers…

hope this gets looked into. and that ANet’s official response on this thread won’t be the last one, nor a “you’re on your own, fellas”.

appreciate all the solutions so far! will be sticking by this game so hope it gets figured out. at least, to be able to identify what the problem is and tackle from there.

currently running a sony VAIO (sucker for sony : PPP lol), F series though. it’s their line of “gaming” laptops but can’t compare to your powerhouses out there so i don’t think it’ll allow for simple GPU upgrades but i’m planning to check nevertheless.

have thought about upgrading to a desktop too, but for 1, space is an issue and i like to be “mobile”. guess i should have thought this out better when i got this laptop (not 2 years old). so desk top is something down the pipeline, but like a few of you mentioned, maybe i should just save up for a reall nice rig and not waste money for a small upgrade.

so far though, my laptop’s been treating me very well. : ))) just wanted to see if i could up my experience. gonna go shop around some SSDs now!

i plan to get a legendary (one will more than suffice lol) and one set of T3 cultural armor as my personal “end-game”.

i am no hurry to get there, and i KNOW will take a long time. not saying i’m going to see the game as a grind. by all means, i don’t mind grinding, but this game is so fun as well that i love rushing to events, not even for the XP or karma or rewards, i just like being part of it. i WP-ed back when someone else called out for help against a troll (forget which one) and i had just done it maybe 15 minutes back and my wife goes, “again?” lol that’s the thing, every event, with different people, amount to such a different experience.

that being said, i will be mindful of where i spend my resources as well as gold. do i aim for a full set of exotics first before i even attempt the legendary? or just hope for good enough drops? lot of things to think about, but i don’t mind at all.

i gues what OP was worried about was the “randomness” of such a seemingly long ang gruelling process. though if you think about it this way, to become legendary DOES take a lot of work, and takes a bit of luck and timing as well. if not, everyone could and would be legendary no? ; )))

to be honest, so far, the game’s been running fine, but i tend to not run on highest settings so seeing if there’s anything that can be done.

i party with my wife as well (she’s a gw2 veteran, and i’m the new one to MMOs here, lol) and when doing the same event, we’ve both gotten diff grades before (gold vs silver vs bronze, etc)

just help your wife to understand the mechanics! and soon you’ll be the one catching up to her ; ))) that’s awesome you get to play together. but as a vet, don’t think of holding her hand, but rather, teach her how to battle.

some small tips as a guardian. i find it tough to get taps on everything in big events, so i do:
- Purging Flames (decent AoE, removes conditions and creates a combo field)
- like others mentioend the Staff or Focus can do some AoE
- the Torch’s #5 does decent as well, paired with the right movement.
- if she wants to learn to charge in first, judge’s intervention gives a massive gap closer, as well as AoE dmg (iirc?) and then she can start combo-ing
- last but not least, the Great Sword #3 skill whirling wrath does some good dmg and aoe as well, but you need to be right in the middle of the heat.

i just wanted to chime in and say, the colouring and armour texture in this game has been done very very well. i have a couple dyes (their names escape me now) and on my heavy armor they look kind of glossy, but not in a cheesy way. still menacing and adds a touch of glory to ‘em. it’s great.

that being said, some of the NPC’s armour (style and dyes) are really great. hoping there is a way to achieve those dyes. will be keeping an eye out!

i just ventured into the swamps yesterday as my Norn and was wondering this too! good to know. i’ll keep an eye out as well.

happened to chance upon the event early on as my alt. it was pretty darn fun. can’t wait to do it again now i know more what i’m doing lol

do all the dungeon sets have particle effects on them?

added: just saw someone running with a giant glowing sword yesterday and they said it was a jotun GS transmutated. so gotta look into thatD

just wanted to seek some advice for some potential upgrades for my laptop:

1) SSD
- worth it to upgrade?
- if so, what brand / make?
- i don’t carry it around as MUCH as i used to, but occasionally will still travel with it. and i’m a sucker for fast load / boot times. : PP

2) Graphics card
- what’s a good upgrade?
- currently running NVIDIA GeForce GT540M
- i’ve heard that ATI is better suited than Nvidia for gw2?

not the most tech-savvy/able. so any advice is welcome. and let me know if you guys need any further info.

guess no luck then. sorry folk. read somewhere that this was possible.. hopefully someone else can shed some light!

+1 to having “Retreat!”. keep mixing up your skills. i’ve tend to stick to a few, as well as weapon sets but you’ll find what works for you soon : )))

surprisingly, i never really upgraded my armor (and don’t plan to focus too much on it until i hit 80). haven’t ventured into dungeons or PvP yet. some WvW only. so for PvE there really isn’t a WHOLE lot you need and can use whatever wep you find most fun!D

though on a few occassions, vs bosses or when i solo champs, etc, i’d have to switch up my build specifically. other than that though, the guardian IS very fun to play with : ))

i’m a Norn, and feel it suits the story. sort of.

racial skills – doesn’t seem enough synergy to affect what class you choose. norn don’t really have the ebst racial skills though lol

though i’ve seen some pretty good looking human guards. asura would look awesome, just cause they’re so small – but yes, like Tomkatt mentioned, some skills seemed bugged due to size of actualy character. rarely do i see Sylvari guards.

yea, i’ve only read that somewhere. i was sentimental enough to keep my starting gear! so i got lucky. i’ve read that people have been able to do this, the method you just described, so unless ANet has recently changed that, it should work.

when i get home tonight, i’ll check to see if my frantic’s mantle is still soulbound (i’ve transmutated it to another piece of gear to maintain the skin before as well).

When you’re downed, try to select a target with low health (you can use tab targetting), as it’ll give you a better chance of rallying before you die.

Be prepared to dodge away as soon as you’re up, and if possible use an ability to slow/immobilise/push away the mobs, You want to avoid incoming damage at all costs until your heal is off cooldown.

If you do die, don’t immediately teleport to a waypoint, because other players can still ressurect you, even when dead. If the area’s busy it might be quicker to wait for someone to come along than to walk back from the waypoint (and it’s cheaper).

It’s also infuriating to rush to someone else’s help, only to have them vanish before you successfully kill all the mobs.

- to add to this, when i fight a champ or “boss”, if i know i’m going to have a hard time or find out half way through, i’ll go hit some of the mobs nearby and bring them to low enough health for easier rallying

- when fighting in a group and you see someone near you downed, instead of blindly reviving them and risking yourself getting hurt, try TARGETING a mob with lower health (Ctrl + targer). let them know so if they get a hit on that target, and you kill it, they should rally as well

Recently, I’ve been getting the error for disconnecting from server a lot. Everything ran really well in the beginning, even during 3 day head start.. (at work now, so i don’t have my specs / settings available, so i’ll try to update that tonight).

i play on a laptop, if that makes a huge difference. while my wife plays on a desktop just recently built. we’re connected through the same router (via cable). and she never has had this issue. i used to run just the cable, but now have wireless on as wel – does that have an effect?

so i’m assuming it’s maybe my laptop / settings that’s causing the problem. would redownloading the client make a difference at all?

is there anything that i can check that may be regular issues that i’m over looking?

this is good to know.. : ))) as i’m slowly nearing max level (though still a ways to go just hit late 60’s last night). looking forward to being able to craft / buy. been slowly upgraded my armorsmith as i go for 100% maps, and progress the story and farming occasionally. mainly at a leisurely pace. methinks.

so for the cultural armors / karma sets, i’m assuming people mainly get these for the skin? while using stats of exotic pieces of gear?

ooh that’s good to know. that there’s a diff between the wrench and apple. i know that if you eat another apple icon (usually food) then it disappears.

so technically, those effects CAN stack? if different types.

if you’re looking just for the skin (i’m assuming), there is an easy way i heard, though i’ve never tried it.

using a new character, get a white piece of gear and then you sould be able to transmutate the Fanatic’s Mantle to it, keep the look of the Fanatic’s Mantle, and the rest don’t really matter. it should then become a white piece of armor afterwards, which is no longer soulbound if i am correct.

then you can leave it in the bank for you to pick up! then transmuate again with your desired stats. : )))) hope this works!

that would be pretty cool. i didn’t start crafting until late and i had to go back to refarm copper ingots. and of course i had a TON of iron ore. overflowed from collectibles stash to my bank (close to 200) and then when i reached the level where i could refine these, i did ALL o fthem. and after a few more recipe discoveries and some crafting, i no longer needed iron ingots.. so i was stuck with ’em. but then i used all my iron ore (lol which was my fault for not planning), so gotta go farm more now. : ///

Ive recently respecced my guardian to be using hammers and getting healing symbols, larger symbols and longer symbols, along with the altruistic healing trait and shouts, along with rune of soldiers so my shouts can remove conditions, as well as get more vit and tough.

I dont find my killing too slow with the hammer and its fun running with the zerg or organized grps in pve cos you see lots of numbers fly, both white and green numbers. It helps that the friends i usually run with are warriors that melee so they get the healing and prot from my symbols too

hey Feralmoon! if you see this, you mind sharing your build? i’m debating heavily investing in both Honor / Valor lines.. and want the 5 in virtues. then i want precision also. haha so just wanted to learn a bit more. : )))

anyone else can help as well. if i DO indeed max out both valor and honor (maybe can do 20 in honor cause i love symbols and 2handed mastery would be good no?) can i just make the whatever i’m lacking in crit chance % with gear, etc?

hmmm .. i’ve always wondered this actually.
well, is gw2 trying to be realistic? do we want to be realistic? someone mentioned Anet’s intentions as well for the game and different races. i kind of like that these things are affected by size. if you are on a real battlefield, the taller, bigger you are.. you WOULD get more targeted easily. but to make up for that, your bubbles are that much larger.

if you’re tiny, like Asura, as cool as it would be to wield a giant sword 3 times your own height… it makes sense they’re gear is scaled to size as well (Gimli in LOTR anyone? when he tries on the chainmail lol). and use it to your advantage!

is it true that asurans (?) get targeted less or are harder to hit? when fighting some Risen recently (Risen. Risen, everywhere). i saw a few players hacking at nothing, until i walked up close and saw a little risen brute. so maybe you can use that to your advantage and sneak around? lol (yes yes i know green / red letterings.. but still)

i play both Norn (guard) and Asuran (ranger) so maybe you can’t compare apples to apples. but i don’t mind if it stays the way as is. i have a hard time jumping (no puzzle syet but for certain vistas) and my wife laughs that my character is too fat. lol. he’s just hunky i say. she tried jumping with mine (in doubt of my skill lolol) and did say she noticed it was a lot harder than her thief (smallest norn stature)

so there are pros and cons. as in real life, if we want this game to be so. i think it adds to the liveliness of the game and can appreciate it.. the question is.. is it game breaking? said hit boxes, etc…

slowly looking through now.. (but kind of frustrating browsing mainly because i’m at work and we only get to use the old IE..lol). some decent info on here but they seem kind of too general? not as fleshed out as other sites we have access to right now.

in all seriousness though, haha, i do agree with this and i just feel silly sometimes. i like to pull retreat when doing escort missions (just to speed the NPC up lol) and i yell “Retreat!” so much when nothing’s going on… lol

i’m wondering too. the boons, do they only affect the ones on me? or all parties that i’ve applied boons to?

assuming that it won’t affect boons applied by other party members on themselves.

quick ques – do most people here trade gold for gems?

see, what we have to maybe do is evaluate what our expectations of games are and what we really get out of it. take my words with only but a a grain of salt. maybe even half. i’m new to MMOs so this is frigging awesome for me – even though i heard it’s not like your standard MMOs, whatever that means, plus it doesn’t matter to me.

i try to treat each game as is. too often, maybe many of us want to have the perfect game! and we hope each game CAN be shaped to what we want it to be. but in reality, we’re with games in hand that are just the way they are, and we get to make the most of it.

not saying anyone’s right or wrong, just my observations. i agree, sometimes, even at lvl 60-give-or-take, some events while i run with my wife, we’re like “meh, we’ve done that one already, skipppppp” and we’re not even lvl 80 yet. but perhaps, doing the same quests with different party members, guilds or what not makes a difference?

i for one, really like helping others. i’ll offer to help someone with a SP if they want or join in on dynamic events even if i’ve already done them, especially if i only see one or two players there. and it’s like you’re lending your experience of the game to aid others. now if i’m really helping or not, that’s up to them to decide. but more cases than not, i’d gotten “ty’s” and that makes all the difference for me.

so i’m looking forward to getting to “end-game” but i’m in no rush. i have other games to play. and other things to do in life! we can’t always expect each game we want or were looking forward to or every big game that comes out to be the perfect formula. and OUR perfect formula. i want to say GW2 is a game you should take your time with, and enjoy the small details. i’ve done a few of the same events and each time, the process, outcome can be different. that in itself can make the difference. sometimes the group mesh well together and play strongly. some times you’ll be with a group that REALLY know the importance and effectiveness of ressing downed players (even fallen!), whereas some you’ll just be left there dead when there are more than enough players to spare to come help you.. ha, thus, dynamic events.. no?

in the end, it does come down to personal preference and what you expect and mindset you hold while playing. come up with your own personal challenges then if the game seems boring already to you. hopefully you’ll find the spark or joy again soon. i defs still see it : ))) and looking forward to more.

sadly, i didn’t really get into crafting until i was lvl 50 LOL i’m above tier 2 now but i DID have to go back and farm some lower level items. and then completely skipped the iron / wool bit. so onto looking for cotten now.

lolol. what a great thread. i actually LOVE the voices and all the chit and chatter.. makes it all the more “lively” and “real” if you will. though there have been times when i do go “NO i don’t care shut up!” lol but that’s just my own problem.

i think it’s mainly when the same line is repeated over and over.

just to add, at lower levels, do salavage as much as possible and kill as much as possible. saw this in another thread and it’s good advice. wish i did more salvaging when i was lower levels.
