The defence of YB hills was EPIC!
At one point I’m pretty sure they had every gate down, 3 omegas and countless alphas later we still have it!
I’m loving how tense a struggle this is, SBi pretty much rolled over when we took their hills last week but yaks keep coming and coming and coming…

Thieves can c&d off walls. I think the only part of the bug they fixed was the part where you were able to continuously c&d off walls without worry about the revealed debuff because it only used to trigger revealed when you dealt damage and you can’t damage walls with non-siege attacks.

Main thing I used it for was to pull thieves out of shadow refuge. Unfortunately unless you are very close when he casts it you won’t likely pull it off any more.

BP isn’t perfect, but it isn’t anything like SBI.Get caught cheating and then try so hard to cover for it. What happened was much easier to explain. They got caught cheating, and are now trying to figure a way out of the impending punishment.
Anyone who cheats, even if unintentional, should get a permaban. You can’t easily say who did it on purpose, and who did it by accident. So ban them all. It’s better to make a few people mad and have a good play environment.
Of course SBI won’t agree with that, and we all know why.

It isn’t a troll. People can claim “oh I went through the gate by accident” all they want. The reality is I have more time in wvw than most people on these threads. Yet I have never, not once, went through a gate inappropriately.
So yeah, permaban. Don’t care which server you are on, if you cheat you deserve to be gone. I will report anyone on either side I see cheating when I can. It’s hard sometimes because you get blown up while trying to do it.
It’s not even cheating. People aren’t going through the gate on purpose, they get through on accident and are killed trying to go back to the proper side of the gate as the photos show. There were people from BP and SBI doing this and it was clearly unintentional. You are amusingly mindless, why would someone ever be banned for being teleported to the other side of the gate for doing nothing other than standard PvD activity.

Long story short: We, the gamers, are tired of having to tell you to fix this game. Test our patches instead of waiting for us to do it for you. This stuff is game breaking and anyone trying to raise awareness is only silenced while those who exploit the situation are free to run around saying “its an accident”, and/or “prove it.”
And you wonder why so many people break the rules… What do theY have to lose?

There are, by the end of the clip, 5 dead SBI that had managed to find their way through a gate. The first guys seen is the norn warrior with silver hair who gets killed, the second is a corpse seen (SBI Raider [MOA]) from someone killed prior to this footage, the third is the SBI soldier from [MOA] guild, the forth is the dead corpse of an SBI assaulter from [Life] guild, and the fifth is the warrior at the end.
And like I said, yeah this time we were there waiting for them and no advantage was to be gained. But what of the other times this has happened and nobody has been around to defend or record? That’s when its a big problem. Unfortunately the best time to capture footage isn’t always the most relevant.

Well what if we wasnt there? What if it was a mesmer with a portal?
The point isn’t that these guys managed to gain a significant advantage, the point is it was happening a lot before this video was recorded and this was the first instance I was able to capture.
Don’t worry I have even more coming. At one point we had around 10 guys pour through the OL water gate when it wasn’t destroyed. (They are better examples of the mistake actually, its just taking me a while to upload them).
The issue is that this is even possible. I have had guildies and other random BP guys telling me that mesmers exploited this glitch to allow them to port more people through as a result of them getting through gates. Now I don’t have any physical proof of this myself, but as you will see with the other clips I will show the guys who made it in don’t run up and jump back out, they continue on into the keep looking to take advantage of the broken game mechanic.

Just because its a bad weapon in your opinion, doesn’t justify its ability to be used without the LoS requirements other weapon skills had to conform to cough iZerker cough.
Every class has its share of bad/highly situation weapons and that should not be an excuse for allowing it to abuse game mechanics like LoS.

Random is random, so you are going to get familiar match-ups from time to time.
Yep! The current matchup is always most probable with the new system. They clearly explained the math. (ill repost here as the other topic is a petition and is likely to get deleted)
The new system hasn’t made eBay lose any points over all, it’s just the rng aspect has scored you low (for example maybe -0.2 I dont know the real numbers, just a guess) and borlis higher (like 0.4). That means if you continue win by a large margin as you have before it makes the RNG aspect of the math have to work even harder to keep us in the same matchup.
I know everyone’s had enough, but it’s only just been implemented.

This. It’s really exciting to get even the smallest bits of news or actual confirmations. Something a little more concrete so at least we know we can expect something in the next patch or patch after.

Thing is, people don’t always help out. I have asked a few times when I have been on an alt that doesn’t have much cash on it and you might get 10s for that keep waypoint… Lol

After I built the oils in our Bay Keep, I was unable to interact with any of the oils. I asked a friend if they could and confirmed they could not either.

My request was a simple one. Turn off the trolling and remember you are playing a game with real people no matter what server they are on. A little respect and sportsmanship goes a long way.

I’ll give it a shot, I’m not as good at trolling as some but I’ll do my best.
[WFD] is complete garbage, they were continually beat up by pugs in our BL tonight before they gave up and went home BL, where they also failed miserably. I didn’t even have to do work, our PUGS were enough to hold their guild group. I just sat there drinking a smoothie watching the PUGSvGuild battles. (Did [WFD] get a new member? They seem worse then before…)
This double team has been really enjoyable, after Ehmry took a break Saturday and Sunday (we have mothers) we’ll finish off this week like we do every week, except both servers will be tossed into the same dumpster. Sure the PTT looks a little different this week, the dumpster is filling up so fast we can’t keep on top of it, slowing us down by throwing all those bodies at lowlands!

I would like a shell type called something along the lines of gunk shot. I would like it to function like normal gunk does with imobs/cripple but with the added function that of you hit a siege build site with it that build site cannot accept supply for x amount of seconds.
The radius would have to be quite large to make it useful (as most direct shots on build sites other than trebs will be instantly destroyed).

Yep because everything changes so drastically in a week. Every fellow commander I asked for assistance from when trebing eBay towers or keeps who previously claimed there was ‘no point hitting eBay’ has suddenly seen the light! Every commander who told me to give up attacking eBay because we would just get wiped and lose all our pugs has grown a pair?
When I can take a 5 man into eBay BL, build a ballista and kill all the NW towers siege, build 2 superior rams (so resupply three times) and take the fully fortified fully supplied tower at the end of it all, all that says is you guys obviously don’t get pressured enough to actively stay on your map.

Actually, it’s BECAUSE AR was your home a week ago that I can tell you to shove it. I don’t mind people leaving their own server for one in another tier, but you left it for a server IN THE SAME TIER. If you think that’s suddenly going to make a difference on how things are in this tier, then you’re a fool…plus you’re technically a traitor to AR (I’ll kill you more than a few times for them). EB does what we do when we feel like doing it. No amount of server changes will change that fact.
My choice of server to transfer to has zero relevance to my point. It also doesn’t void my knowledge of both servers. I am not self absorbed enough to think I am the difference and never even stated that. So take your opinions of transfers to someone who cares. Unless of course you wish to actually say something relevant to my comment?

I actually see a lot more people defend the home borderland and upgrade here on BP than I did on AR. Heartbreaking thing is AR has slowly been bleeding decent defenders, I remember months ago when the answer to “which borderland are we on?” was always “There is only one borderland!”, now you can pretty much take a 10 man to ARBL and own it in less than an hour because the only guy you are going to see defending it SOS’s ele commander Symiyan.

I’m pretty sure those player that you picked up, will switch back to another server once they start losing. They prolly did that before Anvil Rock too.
This is wrong. The people I know that left the server (myself included) had been on anvil rock since account creation. You have lost dedicated wvw’ers that invested time and money into defence, yak escorting, trebing, upgrading etc… You know all those things roamers and normal puggeys don’t care about.
Call us traitors to the server, but never call us bandwagoners or fair weather players. The people you lost left because they care about wvw enough to leave their home to find a place that also cares enough not to think its fine to take back a borderland and leave it all paper to go zerging onto the next map for “Moar Wxp!!!!!!111one”.

Being ’PvD’ed is shameful part, not doing the ’PvD’ing. If you can’t put people inside your own keeps because “the are on a break” then you are going to lose your keeps simple as that. When people ask for help trying to defend keeps on their own and get the reply “we arnt allowed to defend ARBL this week” don’t be surprised when more of them leave the server and whn you find yourself liberated of said keeps.
