Good work I wonder if you can add a link to it on the wiki?
Shame on the loss, that’s why I never will transmute my two legendaries. I also don’t get this: in WoW you can even retreive lost items through the support page.
But even better: AION – notably from NCSOFT back then – has even a recovery system (via ticket, used it once a couple of years ago).
You can’t vendor it , OP is bs
Whether the OP is truthful or not it is still a poor design on the bags as far as I am concerned. Items in the invisible bag will not show at vendors but items have to be manually placed into it. Items in an equipment box are automatically put in but they show at vendors. As well any piece of equipment looted will go into the equipment box if there is an empty slot available so if you fill that slot then swap to a one hand weapon to dual weapons one item invariably goes into the general inventory.
With a bit of work those bags could become dedicated. Once you manually replace an item in a slot it stays there unless you move it out. I have played many games that allowed add-on’s to do such a thing so why game companies are always so far behind the curve on inventory management is quite beyond me.
The first weapon will always switch with the invis bag, it’s the 2nd weapon going into random places that’s annoying, almost sold my exotic dagger too many times :P
And then the content they awesomely manage to create gets discarded like a used bottle. Like the molten dungeon and surely the upcoming Aetherblade one too.
Most infuriating as they would be great additions to the (now) stale Fractals rotation.
This indeed. All temp content NEEDS to become fractals! Then you’re expanding fractals and sating the people that weren’t there for the events / want to do them more.
I just wish I could connect in a stable way on patch day :/ My internet is rather great, but the servers just seem to be hammered and I dc all the time.
@Elbegast, at least people do the temporary content, just look at all the rarely used mid level permanent content.
Permanent stuff sounds fun but people seem to do it once and never again anyway,
No. People need to stop trying to make legendaries easy to get. Stahp
I don’t think a less rng method is making it easy. My friend got his precursor on his first attempt in the MF, isn’t that easy?
Maybe offer a soulbound version for hours and hours of work? Like a list of achievement similar to the new events where a box will spawn with a ticket allowing you to claim one soulbound version of the precursor needed. I don’t know just an idea.
Anet are already working on the scavenger hunt. It’ll just take a while.
I wonder why the new dungeon doesn’t have explo tokens for the gear?
Judging from the preview notes I think it should be pretty clear that Anet doesn’t even play their own game anymore. Warriors are going to be in a worse state than they were before the patch, and nothing of interest was added to any of the other classes that were hurting……….nothing is going to change with this patch.
Speak for yourself, my ele is getting some great buffs.
Maybe you should make some friends / join a guild / talk in map chat. Here on Aurora Glade there’s always people around.
Whenever I enter a zone I always search for some other players and group up, it’s not that hard to be social you know :p
Some players aren’t smart enough to move out of the AoE so what makes you think mobs should be any smarter?
If they see mobs doing it they would learn from them maybe?
Kriza, i’d say improved AI would only apply to veterans/champs with the brainless hordes being weaker minions under their command.
Maybe even having those champions giving large area buffs to mobs in their sight (I really love the dredge commissar for this near sorrows embrace)
I just like the idea of enemies having a chain of command and to interact together (like the TESO devs say they are working on)
We so rarely see mobs with even combo fields, I’d love to see an npc ele use combos like rtl > updraft or earthquake in a fire field to buff might on their allies and knock you down.
You are talking about dredge in general. They are well organized and have support, and it goes well with lore of the race. If you pay attention, you will notice there are alot of races that behave according to their nature.
Yes I know the bandits and dredge are pretty cool like that, I suppose I’d just like to see a few more combos, there’s this awesome combat system but only the players really get to take advantage of the interactions.

I wish the monsters would try to act more like players, maybe then anet would see why us eles keep complaining about staff/scepter aoe. (and warriors would have to try)
The fact is the classes are way more balanced in pvp, so making pve a little more like pvp would solve a bunch of problems, being able to use all your abilities usefully in pve would open up some more options for specialising in groups too.
Kriza, obviously if a mob takes 3 times as long, it will be 3 times as worth it. Less mobs that are more interesting to fight is awesome (see: Monster Hunter)

They’re not supposed to be a walkover, equip some stunbreak/condi removal.
Do you really want eles to be able to swap attunements without any significant cooldown?
pls
Hence if weapon swap cooldown was removed, we will have to most probably autoattack most of the time or have our individual weapon skills nerfed to account for that matter.
Welcome to ele life, nerfed skills and weak autoattack.
What if you’re an Elitist Anti-Carebear Raiding Story Nut from the Old Guard?
Then you’ve won. The game is over
necromancers get some nice unique dialogue too
I’ll have to look closely at my endurance bar, because the icon doesn’t show up at all
er lightning flash is an offensive skill, that was a stunbreaker. Also adding chill/cripple/weakness to your attacks can be pretty defensive…
I think they want you using goep for mid fight conditions, not the initial engagement.
Sceptre earth 1 doesn’t trigger the channelling trait alas. Or if it does the icon doesn’t show up.
Those notes can’t be real. There are just so many flaws with it that I doubt Anet would implement all of those changes at once…..knowing how cautions anet is with patch notes with each profession whether it is a buff or a nerf.
Anet are pretty good at flaws
Seriously though, if they were true at the time they’ve probably been tweaked a lot over the last week since the leak.
I like how it’s a little puzzle each day to figure out the most efficient path through the 5 dailies Sometimes it’s better to do it in wvw, sometimes a high level zone or low, or there’s some other goal that ties in well.
If you could do any many people would just do the exact same circuit each day (and there would be a most efficient path that would become saturated)
Mirta , it’s longbow.
I was excited when I got Vera from the Shatterer
Also agree with stefanos :p
It’ll be fun whatever happens I’m enjoying the game more with each patch, can’t wait for skypirates, if I can’t get those goggles I will scream.
Just hope all the bugs are fixed by then, we can but hope.
Rata Sum overlooking the mountains.
Ah I go there too Love looking down from Rata Sum.
You can cast protection on downed players though.
oZii crits Jabberwock’s wall of text with logic, it’s super effective.
will be fun to pressure someone with the new and improved churning earth + flash combo :p I always thought they would increase the damage, since other teleports didn’t have damage it’d be more of a niche.
Tbh the only real problem is the huge aftercast, and they were reducing aftercast on lots of other spells, maybe we can hold out hope for a reduction here too
Probably best to wait til the patch before making changes I suppose.
We’re the only class with style.
I wouldn’t even give it a shared ICD, having 30 in fire and 30 in air is risky That would synergise with GoeP and Fire Aura, two underutilised things
so…. +1
well I like my ridiculously specific lightning hammer build (+damage above 90%hp, +20% vs vuln in water), which ironically would be greatly improved by the patch, more lightning strikes
The changes seem awesome, though conjures and focus seem missing from the list, I am very happy if these changes happen though, step in the right direction for sure.
I’m not sure if the weakness duration reductions (across all classes) are a nerf, since weakness itself now applies to crits.
I think 25% is a bit too random though.. I’d prefer 50% chance of 25% reduction rather than the other way around, but time will tell..
Fresh air is pretty great to mix up the playstyle, though it does seem tuned for scepter, I can’t wait to use it.
The staff buffs are subtle but being able to cast that much faster (a quarter second on so many spells is much bigger than it looks) will allow more pressure and responsiveness.
Yeah….and you will definitely land that dark path on a non-braindead guy? And he wouldn’t cleanse/teleport out of the root?
Are you serious?
I land Dark Path atleast 94% of the time. Also, if he does cleanse/teleport out of it, then I can simply capture a point or he’ll still be in my wells with one less cleanse. Oh, you’re probably thinking of WvW, the place that balance doesn’t exist in.
Yeah, because spvp is so balanced by unnaturally forcing people to sit over points, artificially inflating the value of specs like grenade engineers and bunkers where in WvW those specs are made moot because people can MOVE.
But the game is balanced around point play, not free movement. spvp is way more balanced (if only because you can’t get ridiculously high stats + food + items)
They should have given eles the anti movement condition instead of thieves. Would make staff ele a hell of alot better. Right now it’s still a free kill. That would atleast make it somewhat of a threat. Giving it to thieves was the stupidest idea ever. Standing still against a thief is suicide. now moving away from their stupidly OP burst damage will get you killed too thanks to a new condition. great job once again at balancing things Anet. And why still no reduction in our attunement recharge rate? we still have to spec into arcane because of that.
You don’t get OP burst AND condition damage in the same build.
I doubt we have to worry about torment, we can already spec into condition removal, and its just one more on 2 classes that had very few. On necro it’ll be quite interesting though…
Torment is a condition, it’s going to use condition damage… We don’t even know which weapon set it will be on, possibly the weakest ones to give people a reason to use them (p/p for example)
I wonder if people would be complaining if we got torment on the focus…
I wonder if Glyph of Renewal—which no one to my knowledge uses—will be reworked and receive stun breaker status.
Well it’d be slightly more good if it’s instant. I don’t think there are any stun breakers with a cast time anywhere right?
I don’t mind the res glyph so much, but it’d be nice if it was a signet so it had a use when it wasn’t active.
It wrecks structures.
If lightning flash loses the stunbreak and gets a cooldown reduction, I will be a very happy ele
Maybe glyph of harmony will be a stunbreak, lol
I think so much might be changing it’s hard to know what the new meta will be, who we’ll be strong and weak against… I’m looking forward to experimenting
My body is ready (for nerfs)
It’s so you don’t sit in the bank all day.
haha this thread, it’s like torment one shots you if you move.
